Started out as a .21 powered GS Storm nitro buggy. Raced it for a summer, and then got tired of the nitro mess/hassle. Put it away for a few years, then got it out over the Chrismas holiday and began to convert it. Pulled the motor and old controller out of the E-Maxx, since it couldn't handle the power, and planned to put it in the buggy. As I removed the controller from the truck, I noticed the velco used to mount it was old and no longer very sticky. Began to peel it off, but apparently the controller had gotten hot enough at some point to melt its' plastic wrap, allowing the velco to stick to the programming swithces, unbeknownst to me. Ended up ripping the switches off, ruining the controller. Fast forward to today, I just bought a Castle Pheonix 110HV controller and hooked it up to the Hacker C50-16 motor and 16 cells. Still working out some programming/setup issues with the help of JRH, but it's getting there. I plan to run 21V+ with some Li-Po's in the future, but the 2400mah Ni-Cad's will work for now. I still have to add 2 or 4 more cells, but I ran out of battery bars.

12 cells isn't nearly enough to be able to have fun :thefinger: Go BIG or go home.

On a side note, my controller isn't going to work, even after all the assurances I was given that it would, so I got some complaining to do come Monday. :headbang: :headbang:
