OK, newbie question so bear with me....... Does front dig mean unlocking the rear (free-rolling) or Locking rear (dragging) ?? Ive seen some unlocking slider type, but it seems locking up is more useful to me How can i set up a AX10 to lock the rear without something like the R2 tranny which seems to have issues    |

Dig generally refers to locking the rear wheels Disconnect is usually allowing the rear wheels to free roll. Both can be accomplished with a driveshaft slider mechanism. Both have their advantages, but for what it's worth, Austin (gatekeeper) runs disconnect only (last I checked). The ORCRC guys had a good article on building a dig setup...might check their forums or RCC for more info. |

I don't know of anybody that sells them premade. Here is a a good how to on rccrawler. It gives you the option to freewheel and lock up I believe. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread....ight=socket+dig |
