No special ESC needed. But you can not discharge them below 3v per sell. So a 2 cell is minimim 6v and a 3 cell is minimum 9v. Some ESC's like the Mamba Max, and Rooster Crawler have a low voltage cut-off. Also Novak makes a low volt cut-off adapter. If you dont use an esc with a low volt cut-off make sure you stop driving before the battery dies. |

nope. You can find a lipo only charger for about $40. Or one that will charge lipo, nimh, nicd for about $65. The charger should state that it can charge lipo batteries as well as how many cells. This one should do all of them. http://www.b-p-p.com/proddetail.php?prod=d_EOS_5IDP |

no, you have to have a li-po charger. and usually a charger that has a built in balancer to keep the cells in balanced. if not your batteries will crap out on you and maybe blow a hole in what ever its sitting on, hence a li-po charging pack. li-po's are very volatile and like to blow up if yo miss handle them. |
