although i usually buy a kit or rtr and then convert or build my own stuff for that vehical i still consider all of my builds custom. ive always enjoyed building them as much as running them. i feel that custom rides gives you a chance to show your personality thru your vehical. fun to run but if everyone had the same body etc. i think it would be kinda blah! wether its 2.2, super or scale i say each custom ride has its own touch of flare and the builder goes a certain way for reasons we may never know but its the feel they wanted to go for. in summary...... custom it keeps it unique  |

Custom all the way. Custom allows you to make the changes, designs, and add your own style of parts; Plastic, steel, aluminum, stainless steel....ect. My rig is just about as custom as I could get it. It seemed to do pretty good at the last comp. ColbyTheKids crawler is all baught besides the servo mount, and my truck easily did everything his did. And drive comes to play of course, but I prefer custom. |
