Any ideas on what I should do for a bed? Flat bed? actual dump bed or something maybe?

Well, I have plenty of motivation. I won the new rc4wd 1.55 beadlock wheels and tires so those will be comming for this thing. Im also trying to get a toasted r2 trans from salmon and fix it to run in this thing. Also, igotit on scale4x4 and rcc is building a 6x6 scx10 and hes keeping me going with his styrene work. I think we are having a battle of the styrene building :D

I will be building the bed tomorrow if I ever decide if i want a flat bed or a regular bed

Thanks man B) I was also leaning more towards a flat bed.

This is the mog that made me want one. What you think of the logger look? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MOq9Pc75w6k

After watching that, i think the HL rails are starting to grow on me. I might have to get some.. ^_^

thats a cool look but not sure about it for anything other than videoing. for gtg that could be more of a hold back.... the flat bed looks good on it too tho....

Yeah, I definetly do not want the trials look, I think i will just take some styrene and build up a flat bed tomorrow and try the look out. If not Ill have to do some larry ninjin to get it the way i like it :ph43r: Or I will just build up a fuel cell to cover the motor/tranny with and run it like the way you see it in the pics above :D

haha thanks for the input B. That would be cool as all get out. Now I dont know about the boom, but i do think I will throw a servo on the back of the bed to winch people out. You gave me a great idea

Ok, so just to clarify things, Im going to build a full flat bed on the rear of the truck and run a winch next to the cab. Im probably going to repaint this thing red or something and call it "The RCA Puller" :D I will have pics later if progress is made.

Another question, should I run a coil in the rear with angled absorbers? I really need to cut the shock mounts off this chassis so it would be a real flat bed
