1. How are you guys running the 3Racing winch? If you run it off a separate battery, what size? I realize the size of battery depends on how much use but, do I need a 500, 800, 2200?

2. Can it handle a 3s lipo, or do I need to buy a 2s lipo just for the winch?

Thanks,
Goose

Sounds good, will the 6v be enough to run it? Will you be at the comp this weekend? If so just bring them then.

me personally i just snipped the plug off, skinned back the wires on the speedo and soldered them to that.... eliminates a battery anyways. that is if you other questions on the lipos get answered. :m2c:

I made a small adapter with a female tamiya plug that I soldered on to my ESC's input. This way the winch module is still removable if needed.
