i don't wanna seem rude, but I find this thread a lil bit creepy?! maybe it was the zoo bathroom pic, idk. Just come out to a get together or a comp, and you will meet most of us. no offense intended, just speaking for myself.
I hate it when I wake up in the morning, and Obama is president.

In short if you want to see me then I will have to come to some comps. I have met a few of you guys, fish, ryan, destroyer and a couple others. WheelinKing works for me so I see him everyday.

I would come to comps if my mom wasnt a bi*ch about everything. She isn't in this hobby, so in her mind that means I shouldn't be allowed to attend any events because she wouldn't want to. She is weird

Well what are her interests??? May be she likes to knit, tell her we will have a knitting contest at every comp. That may get her to come.

My parents supported me going to comps/races/get togethers because I said "Well, I could be asking you to take me to the street corner to buy/sell/smoke some drugs n stuff" That usually made my parents see the bright side of hanging out with grown men playing with toy cars... :retard:

If I did that I would get slapped :retard: haha. The thing with that is, my father used to love the RC car hobby. He used to have an original grasshopper(i think that was the name). My mom hates it(she thinks it is a waste of money). My father passed away in 2003so I don't really have anyone that understands. That being said, my grandfather understands itmuch much more because he enjoys the time we get to spend to gether with it(he is basically my father) and he has been willing to puchase many of the parts that I have recieved for my CC(I pay him back though) so he would be more willing to take me to events.

SO, moral of the above story, if you want somebody to get your RC addiction, get a grandfather
