In the not so distant past Doctor Hank Pym had created the perfect jailer for all the would-be evil doers that the Avengers had put away during their time. He named this ultimate overseer Ultron- a machine Android that, with limited programming, kept a close eye on the prisoners that he, Hank Pym, had imprisoned in his Micro-Lock down. Of course he with his ability to shrink to the size of an atom had been the only one able to escort these prisoners into the cells that they would call home for the rest of their lives- the prison itself would reside in S.H.E.I.L.D. care, no bigger than the palm of a man's hand if only for the sake of not getting lost on the pedestal of which it sat.

Director Nick Fury was the man in charge of it's care along side Hank Pym.

It was the Golden Age of the Avengers-

Captain America, as their leader-
Tony Stark as the financier-

Hawkeye, Black Widow, Hulk- Thor! Along side Wasp and Ant Man things were divine. There was no challenge they could not overcome. No villain that Hulk could not smash- that Stark could not out gun, and Steve could not out wit with the aid of their team mates.

Until that fateful day.

Until Ultron upgraded himself, with technology Hank Pym had borrowed from Stark Tech- that's when things changed. Ultron had changed his programming, released the villains that had taken years to collect- some of the worlds most deadliest men were once again let loose on the earth.

Ultron quickly built up his own army of androids that would mindlessly carry out his acts of, how the Android described it, Justice.

Things quickly declined. It knew every move the Avengers could throw at it- no team of so called 'Heros' could go up against Ultron and survive.

When the Earth's Economic Market spiraled out of contol and those who only wished ill rose to power, so began to fall the Avengers one by one.

First it was Wasp. Her delicate body was crushed by Ultron himself yet only after the android had finally over ridden the program that it would never harm her. Hank, already on the brink of insanity where he was drivien there by guilt of seeing how HIS machine had brought only terror to a world it was to protect, ended his own life with the most simple of ways. A rope, and a exposed beam in the lower level of what was once Avenger Tower.

With his death it left the two children he and Wasp had brought into that world parentless at the young ages of merely six months and four years of age.

Next fell Black Widow. The Hulk, with time, went missing. Steve passed away at the hands of his all time rival Red Skull, who used the now tattered mask and beatten sheild of Captain America as bragging rights- the sheild now sat as a coffee table in his den.

Tony Stark, presumidly dead, had retired a broken hero to a remote location, taking with him the children of Wasp and Pym, the son of Captain America- Thor's daughter, who was now trapped on Earth with her Human mother, and his own son and wife.

The weareabouts of Hawkeye were unknown, he was presumed dead after an attack he had lead with Rebles had failed drastically. It was assumed that both his children had also passed away during the counter attack Ultron had lead on the refuegee camp.

In the secluded area Tony had raised these children with only minimal help- which he sorta prided himself on. Only when they were older did he allow the group to rejoin what little was left of civilization.

"We can't stay here forever." Rita leaned quietly against a palm tree and quietly stared out into the distance. They were stationed on the West Coast, somewhere down south and presumably what had once been southern california. The half Asgardian looked down as she brushed a hand through her thick blonde hair and sighed before shaking her head. The sun was setting, and like every sunset she had ever seen it was beautiful. Her eyes turned skyward where it had begun to grow dark and the stars had started to twinkle into existence once again. She had just turned seventeen. The youngest of their group, Jim, kicked his legs over the edge of the dock. He was only seven. The oldest would have been Steve's boy at twenty.

In an underground bunker an aged Tony Stark stood in front of a massive computer that hadn't been turned on in years. Any form of tech would allow Ultron to find the small group and smash them like a bug. It had been a hard adjustment but they made it just fine. "Tony?" Ellena stepped up beside him and crossed her arms. Ellena- the daughter of Agent Cullson, was now the head of what remained of S.H.E.I.L.D. She was only twenty but had been commanding the troops since she were nineteen- which hadn't been that long ago. She had only just turned twenty- maybe a whole four months younger than Steve's boy. She was slender, nimble, had delicate hands and a fine complexion littered by childish freckles still. Her abrun hair was pulled back into a bun that left no room for a single hair to get out of place. Tony didn't respond. The young woman took a soft breath and dropped her hands down to her hips, "Mr.Stark...." Her father had only passed away six months ago- meaning total she had been incharge of S.H.E.I.L.D. for that total six months. And it had put the girl through great stress.

Emotionally she opened to no one but Tony- and even that was strained sometimes. Physical she hated to be touched, to be brushed up against. Physical contact was not something she liked. And forget about dating- that had never been in the books for her. She had too much responciblity. Too much riding on her shoulders now.

The human race needed to be returned to it's rightful place above machines.

Finally Ellena looked to the side before she moved closer and leaned forward, looking at Tony, "Stark.... There's an attack being mounted against Ultron...have you heard anything about Hulk? Anything from Banner?"

Tony finally seemed to snap out of his staring contest with the blank screen and looked over to the young woman, staring at her for several seconds before he shook his head, "I havn't seen hide nor booger of that green thing for ...years."
