OOC: The views expressed by Grenier in this rp regarding women in wrestling do not reflect the views of me out of character, so please don't take offense, divas.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The scene opens up inside David Grenier’s locker room. Grenier sits down in a chair, facing the doorway, where his six associates all stand with bags in hand. Grenier checks to make sure everyone is present and then starts.

David: Well I’m sure you are all wondering why I called you here today, and why we aren’t in my office.

The men look around at each other and nod in agreement.

David: It’s quite simple, actually. I thought I needed you guys to help me with my SCW career, but I realized that I don’t. My problem right now is SCW management, particularly Mr. Drachewych. You guys are not able to help me with that issue, so, quite frankly, I find you all useless. This past week, I joined the Cherry Pit Crew, who seem to be the only group of people that can get anywhere in this business, despite Mr. Drachewych’s unjust rulings here. I have found a way to get to the top by myself. Now I would like you guys to know that you are all fired. You have all of your bags already, so please get the hell out of my locker room.

The men look around, then at each other, in confusion. Grenier loses his patience very quickly.

David: NOW!

David’s therapist and account quickly scamper out of the room. The scout and SCW historian take their time, but eventually make it out of the room. David’s personal trainer and in-ring trainer just stare back at him defiantly. Grenier starts to get very red and starts breathing heavily. The two men just shake their heads and take their sweet time leaving. Grenier gets up after them and slams the door behind. He sits back down in the chair and tries to calm himself down. He then grabs a black shirt which was lying next to him and puts it on as he stands back up. The shirt is then revealed to be a Cherry Pit Crew “Crew-Sader” shirt. Grenier takes a deep breath, opens his door, and walks out of his locker room. The camera follows him down the hall. Grenier stops at a locker room with the words “Cherry Pit Crew” on the door. David then knocks on the door. Within a few seconds, the door opens, and Greg Cherry is at the door to greet Grenier.

Cherry: Well, Mr. Grenier, you look good in that shirt.

Eddie Parker then sits up and quickly makes his way over to the door to greet Grenier. Jack Campbell stays seated on one of the couches in the room. Ashley is out of the room.

David: Thank you. It’s an honor to be a part of this.

Cherry: Ok, don’t get all sappy on me now. You joined us because we have some common goals. We both want to stop anyone who gets in the way of our success, and we both want to show Drachewych that no matter how much he tries to screw us, we’ll still come out on top.

David nods in agreement. There is then a bit of an awkward silence, Grenier not knowing what to say.

Cherry: Well….have a seat. You are more than welcome to hang out here.

Grenier then takes a seat in one of the chairs. Cherry then sits down as well.

Greg: That was a pretty good switch you helped pull off on Breakdown.

David: Yeah, I think we really caught Drachewych off guard.

Greg: You were great too, Jack.

Jack: Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just remember that I won’t be giving up matches all the time like that, David.

Eddie: It’s still a bit sad to see Lenne go, though.

David, Jack, and Greg all look at Eddie like he is crazy. Eddie looks a bit embarrassed, and there is another awkward silence. This time, David speaks.

David: So, Greg; is there any advice you can give me? I mean, you are the SCW Champion, and if I could only ask one person in this business for advice, it would be you.

Campbell chuckles to himself.

Jack: David, I know you’re a bit new to this, but Greg doesn’t really have time to deal with your problems right now. Here in the Pit Crew, we help Greg when he needs it, and deal with our own problems by ourselves.

Cherry: Relax, Jack. I don’t have a match this week. Drachewych finally did something right in giving me a well-deserved night off. Now I’ll be able to do a bit of scouting of Xander Valentine. As far as you go, Grenier; I’ll be more than happy to give you a bit of advice for now, though you’re very capable of winning matches yourself.

David: Oh yeah, I know. I just want to make sure I start off on the right path here.

Cherry: Well, when approaching these matches, remember that a good part of the battle is mental. You have to know your opponent inside and out. Dissect your opponent, and then expose his or her weaknesses. That is what you will have to do if you are going to be one of us.

David: That should be pretty easy. I know how to scout my opponents, and I have been insulting people my whole life.

Cherry: Just make sure you sound intelligent, and not like a jackass who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I suggest you use that strategy against Calli Bennett this week.

David: Ok, I will.

David smiles and nods his head. Cherry looks at Grenier and holds his arms out.

Cherry: Come on; what do you know about Calli?

David: Oh, do you want me to do this now?

Cherry groans and rolls his eyes.

Cherry: I think Jack was right; I don’t have time for this.

Cherry starts to get up and leave. Grenier quickly stands up and runs over to the door.

David: No, I’ll go. I need some work with this, but I will get it. Don’t worry, Greg; I won’t let you down. I will do the Cherry Pit Crew proud this week when I defeat that New Blood Rebellion bitch.

David then quickly walks out without a response from Cherry. As Grenier walks back down the hall, he hits himself in the head and says, “Stupid, David! Stupid! Stupid!” Grenier starts acting like a boy who said something wrong to a girl whom he liked. Grenier then trudges back to his locker room, opens the door, plops down in a chair, and sighs. David looks down at the floor, thinking. He then starts to talk to himself.

David: Come on, David. Where the hell did your confidence go? What happened to the David that was defiant to the SCW rule? What happened to the David who wasn’t afraid to break the rules? And what happened to the David who was always on top of things; the David who always knew what he was doing and was always one step ahead of the game? What the hell is this? Come on, David. You have a match against Calli Bennett this week……

David suddenly stops and looks up, just realizing the fact that he is facing the Women’s Champion.

David: Wait a minute; Calli Bennett? I’m facing Calli Bennett? Why the hell am I facing the Women’s Champion? I don’t care if she wants to fight men; she is the Women’s Champion for a reason. She should be fighting women, and I should be fighting men. Is Mr. Drachewych trying to insult me?

David then starts to get fired up again.

David: Oh, Mr. Drachewych. You can’t handle the fact that I found success, can you? You know that in joining the Cherry Pit Crew, I am going to make a name for myself in this business. So what do you try to do? You try to embarrass me by putting me up against the Women’s Champion, knowing that I will lose a lot of respect if I lose this match.

David then stops and laughs.

David: That isn’t going to happen, though.

David then looks directly into the camera.

David: Ok, I’ll give Calli Bennett a lot of credit. She has been Women’s Champion for nearly half of a year, proved her dominance in the Women’s Division, and has proven that she is the best female wrestler in SCW. She is also challenging herself by facing guys which I think is great for her. However, it has been proven time after time that women do not belong in the same ring as men, unless they are managing or involved in a tag match. Other than in those cases, most men are no match for women. Again, I applaud Calli’s effort, but this is a joke that needs to end.

David then addresses Calli.

David: Now Calli, I know you will be quick to respond, naming the countless victories you’ve had over male superstars. That is great and all, but that does not separate you from the great superstars in SCW. Let me point out a few key loses. First off, you have suffered a loss to Kenny Kliché. Just being in the same ring with him is embarrassing enough, but he beat you. You have also lost two times to Jordan Webb, who fell off the face of the earth after losing his US title. He just recently came back after sitting at home crying, and he still managed to beat you….twice. Not to mention, in one of those matches, you were teaming with the Adrenaline Champion, Damian Angel, and you still couldn’t get the job done.

David laughs and shakes his head. He then attempts to get serious for a moment.

David: Calli, I am not trying to attack you. Those loses would be perfectly understandable if you were a normal diva. However, you brought those loses upon yourself. You claimed that you were too good for the Women’s Division, and you wanted to move on to challenge yourself. Unfortunately for you, you have showed us that you are not ready to wrestle with the boys. So I suggest you watch your back and pay attention to the other female superstars, because I am sure you will lose your title in a second.

David stops and turns his head, thinking about something. He then smiles and turns away from the camera, talking to himself again.

David: I did it. I just did what Greg told me to do. I have also found my motive for this week; I’ve got to tell Greg!

Grenier then quickly runs out of his locker room and down the hall with excitement, like a little boy on Christmas morning. He quickly reaches the Cherry Pit Crew locker room and barges in.

Eddie: Whoa, easy there, big guy.

Jack: Jesus, Grenier! You scared the hell out of me.

David: Sorry guys, but I need to talk to Greg.

Eddie: He’s not here anymore. You missed him; he just left.

Jack: Didn’t he already make it clear that you were just wasting his time anyway?

David: Well, trust me; he won’t feel that way after I tell him what I need to.

Jack: Whatever….

Voice: Tell me what?

David turns around and Greg appears in the doorway.

David: Oh, Greg, thank God you’re here.

Greg: Ok…..?

David: I am motivated this week. I am ready to show you why you made the right choice in accepting me into the Cherry Pit Crew.

Greg: Good, I’m glad to hear….

David interrupts Greg as he talks with enthusiasm.

David: You see: I have discovered that Mr. Drachewych is out to get me, just like the rest of us. He is trying to embarrass me by booking me against Calli Bennett. I, however, am going to turn the tables on him. I am going to take advantage of the opportunity I have in facing Calli. Calli Bennett is just another one of people standing in my way of becoming a star here. She is taking up room amongst the upper card male superstars, so there is no room for up and coming superstars like me. After this week, though, not only am I going to embarrass Mr. Drachewych by beating the living hell out of his Women’s Champion and once again prove myself to all of SCW, but I am going to send Calli back to the Women’s Division, where she belongs. She will never want to wrestle a male superstar again after I am through with her. After Breakdown, Greg, you will see why I am such a valuable asset to the Cherry Pit Crew, and a key member in the crusade against the rest of SCW, who are trying to take us down.

Grenier finally stops and smiles at Greg, who is about to fall asleep.

Greg: Oh…you’re done?

Grenier keeps smiling and nods. Greg pats him on the shoulder.

Greg: Well, that’s great for you, David. I have to go, though.

Greg then walks out. Campbell and Parker, realizing that they would be stuck in the same room with Grenier, who is attacking a bit crazy at the moment, quickly scamper out of the room behind Greg. The cameras fade out on Grenier, who has a menacing smile on his face as he stares off into space.
