The scene opens to Swartz coming in the door to his house, his bags in his hand; he sets them down right beside the table near the door. As he looks at the table and checks through his mail his cell phone rings.

Swartz: Hello. I just stepped in the door. You can stay here if you want…seeing that you’re going to start working with me in SCW. I have 2 extras rooms so you can crash in the spare bedroom with the bathroom attached to it. Alright see you soon.

Swartz closes his cell and puts it in his pocket. He grabs his bags and heads upstairs. He opens the door to his bedroom and sets all his bags down on the bed, takes his jacket off and pulls his phone charger out of his bag. He puts his cell on his charge and then sits on the edge of his bed. He takes off his shoes and then runs his fingers through his hair and lets out a breath…almost a sigh of relief. He gets up and heads down the hall to the spare room he spoke of earlier. As he passes the one room he stops and turns around. He opens the door and looks around the room. The room seemed empty except for a few boxes. He walks in and turns the light on. There’s a stack of boxes beside the walk-in closet and there is also a chair on the other side of the room. He moves a few boxes and grabs one of the smaller ones. He takes it over to the chair to sit down and he takes the lid off the box and throws it aside the chair. He sits down in the chair and pulls out a few photos.

As he looks through some of them we see that they’re photos of his old SCW days. There are a few backstage photos along with a few in-ring pictures. He goes through one after another and he stops to stare at one picture. As he looks at it he smiles. It turns out to be a picture of him Greg Cherry and Canadian Ice when they were younger. Greg and Ice are standing while Swartz is kneeling in front of them. He sets the picture on his lap and then goes through the pictures some more. We see countless photos of his SCW past, particularly his in-ring pictures. Just as he grabs the lid his doorbell rings. He sets the box down and grabs the picture that was on his lap and puts it in his pocket. He runs downstairs and opens the door.

Swartz: Hey guys, what’s going on?

Jack and Eddie walk in and Swartz asks them to sit down in the living room.

Jack: So how was your trip Dave?

Swartz: Not bad. I take it you found out what I was doing up there?

Eddie: Yeah we heard from Ashley what was going on. You could’ve told us, you know?

Swartz: I didn’t know how you guys would take it so I figured it was better off not being mentioned.

Jack: I really didn’t mind. Although some people (points toward Eddie) made it a bigger deal then it should be.

Eddie: I didn’t make it that big of a deal. I just didn’t appreciate not being told what was going on with a fellow CPC member. Not to mention you left when we were supposed to meet up with Ashley and Greg.

Swartz: Speaking of which how’s that all going?

Eddie: It’s getting better. Although, now he’ going to face Josh Hudson at Rise to Greatness and not only that, but he has to put up his United States Title.

Swartz: Josh Hudson? That name doesn’t seem to ring a bell. Was he known as something else before?

Jack: Yah he used to be Josh Lesnar.

Swartz: Ah, that would be why I don’t remember him. Wait hasn’t Greg defeated him over 4 or 5 times?

Jack: Yeah, but Oleska has decided that Hudson needs yet another Greg Cherry loss.

Swartz: Yeah and I guess he decided that I’m not good enough to be on the actual card so he booked me in a horrible “pre-show match” against Donovan Kayl.

Jack: It’s starting to sound like Oleska wants you and Greg to do nothing but stay in mid-card spots. Greg facing Hudson and you’re facing off against Kayl. So either Oleska wants you two to stay below main event status or he just loved the fact that Greg beat Hudson to retain the US Title and that you beat Kayl to become the Neo-Cruiserweight champion.

Swartz: All I know is this time for me and Kayl is different. I’m not with Torn Aggression anymore and I’ve moved on to bigger and better things for myself. I just want to go out there so that me and Donovan can show Oleska and everyone watching that a so called “pre-show match” isn’t where you put amazing talent like Me…and I guess Kayl. But with that said do you guys mind if I meet up with you later for dinner or something? I need to do some unpacking and a few other things.

Jack and Eddie get up and shake his hand.

Jack: Give one of us a call when you’re finished and we’ll decide where to meet up to eat.

Eddie: See you later Dave.

They leave and Swartz shows them to the door. He closes the door and sits down on the couch. He reaches in his pocket and pulls out the picture of him Cherry and Ice. He stares at it a bit then gets a confused look on his face. He starts picking at the one corner of the picture and starts peeling the picture back to reveal that he had another picture stuck to it. He pulls them apart and the other picture shows Swartz holding the Neo-Cruiserweight Title over his head. He’s also standing over Donovan Kayl, who’s in a huge pile of broken table pieces. Swartz looks at the pictures and then looks up at the camera.

Donovan Kayl you and I have had our troubled past (he lifts the picture up to show it to the camera), but as I told my friends I have put that all behind me now. Granted I did beat you for the Neo-Cruiserweight Title and I did send you to the hospital and put a bit of a break in your career, but I don’t hold anything against you. I don’t hold the grudge anymore. I mean why hold a grudge over you? There’s really no point. I mean, the last time you and I met I was standing and you…well you were lost among the pile of wood and blood that I made when I dove off the ladder, which was in the ring, and landed on top of you to the outside and put you through the table. Granted I hurt myself a bit, but I got the job done for what I wanted and needed to achieve.

This time is a bit different. There are no titles on the line, unfortunately, and there’s no huge stipulation or special reward for either of us for after our win, there’s just the fact that we got put in a pre-show match. Us, Donovan Kayl and David Swartz, the two men that stole the show that night of our Neo-Cruiserweight Title match. How dare we get put in a pre-show match. We deserve to be on the real card…not pushed aside for the idiot fans to get a free show at two of the greatest wrestlers in SCW history. I don’t know about you DK but I sure as hell am not going to stand for this insult. You and I need to go out to the ring for our match, meet face to face and then…walk out of the arena with neither of us landing a single fist, foot or maneuver. The fans don’t deserve to see us battle it out. If anything the fans deserve a slap in the face for even thinking that this heinous act against us is a good idea.

Donovan Kayl, you and I have had our difficulties and our disagreements, but at Rise to Greatness you and I need to get on the same page and show the fans that Oleska Drachewych has no clue how to book real talent and that he spits on our talent and our skills when he books people like us in a match that doesn’t even get on the actual pay per view card. Donovan Kayl, stand with me and rise up against this despicable decision made by Oleska Drachewych. Show the fans that we deserve to be on the actual card for the show. But most importantly prove to me that you and I, after all we’ve been through can put things aside and that we can be on the same page and overcome the sinister dealings that have been dealt to us by the so called mastermind of SCW. Join me in the war against Oleska Drachewych.

As the scene fades the doorbell rings and Dave jumps up to answer it. He opens the door and greets whoever is at the door (we can’t see outside of the doorway where Swartz is standing). Dave then reaches out and grabs some bags and sets them inside. He asks the person to come in and we see that it’s Canadian Ice. They laugh and Swartz thanks him for coming to help him out with his problem. Ice looks over at the camera sits down in front of it and then simply states.

Ice: The Iceman returns to SCW!
