Era of the Phoenix: Chapter 27 – Part 1: Courting a Deity This is it…the time I have waited for since last year’s Rise to Greatness… The greatest pay-per-view of the year… The Stanley Cup, World Series, and Super Bowl all rolled into one. The night legends are born and history is made, or repeated. So why does it seem so boring? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Bite the hand that feeds me Carol: I don’t understand. Savior: I believe I made it quite simple. Carol: But you’re not making any sense. You are in court in fifteen minutes! Savior: A fact that further supports my reasoning. I rolled my shoulders as I looked around the room in frustration. I found myself temporarily captivated by the sheer size of the hall, and the marble walls and floors. It was only for a moment, but in that moment, I found myself going through every notion in my head concerning marble floors. How it would look in my house, if it was too tacky or too elegant. Clearing my head of those distracting ideas, I concentrated on the short lady standing in front of me, wearing a white blouse, and a blue jacket that matched her blue skirt. From what my memory told me, her name was Carol, but all that seemed inconsequential to me. Carol: So you’re just going to waltz in there and do this on your own? That isn’t what Mr. Drachewych wanted- I snapped my head back to her, staring down at her with as much hatred as I could conjure up. Savior: I do not answer to Oleksa Drachewych when it concerns my life! He answers to ME! So get it straight! You don’t work for me anymore. You’re fired! Gone! Terminated! No more! Get it?! Carol was taken aback by my words, but more so by my sudden outburst. Not that I could blame her. I had made quite a scene and a number of people who walked by stared at us. However, I was too blinded by rage to pay it any mind. Whether it was the look of the woman standing before me or just the sheer madness that had been caused several months ago, I could not be certain. All I knew was that my patience was wearing thin. I wanted this over. I wanted it to end. Rose had evaded me for too long and had gotten away with too much. Finally, all my hard work and planning was about to pay off. Unfortunately, Oleksa Drachewych how to get himself to interfere with my business and with my life. Business that never concerned him. The time had come to eradicate that little dilemma. Carol: Do you realize how much trouble you are going to be in when I report this to Mr. Drachewych? Savior: I am beyond caring what Oleksa Drachewych can do to me. The man has set up more obstacles for me to overcome then anyone else in his business. Despite all that, I have repeatedly beaten him time and time again. So no, I am not afraid of SCW or what you or Oleksa Drachewych can do to me. Carol: I am ordered and being paid to serve as your lawyer in this case. Savior: You’re not getting it sweetheart. You don’t work for me anymore. You step into the courtroom with me, and I promise you, I am going to end your career as part of SCW’s legal team. Is any this too hard for you to understand? Carol looked at me as if she was ready to slaughter me on the spot. However, she knew she was fighting a losing battle. Today seemed to be a day that all women were fighting losing battles. First Carol and next Rose… Damn, and I thought this was going to be a bad day… With a sigh, Carol looked down the hall before looking back at me. With one last angry huff, she marched down the hall and out of my line of vision. With a satisfied smirk, I opened the court doors and slowly walked down the aisle. There were only two people there, but I already knew that. One was Rose, the woman I had planned all this for, and her lawyer, whom, over the past three months, I had grown incredibly sick of. Rose was still shaken from running into me a few weeks ago. The expression was clearly showing on her face. Perhaps it was the cruelty my face still strongly showed that was the cause for such unease. Perhaps not. Maybe it was her inability to accept what I was doing. No… Looking back on it, I believe it was her inability to see the transformation that had overtaken me. I was no longer the humble, pleasant, saving, loyal, and honest man that I had been what we had first gotten married. Yes, that was it. I was a new man, though my name was still the same. I had become driven, more so than before, while at the same time removing all dead weight that had been placed upon my shoulders. True, Rose had left before I had intended her to, but the result was still the same. It was inevitable. I was the Rising Phoenix. The fact of the matter was, she was slowing me down, as was Oleksa. Since I could not get rid of Oleksa, I had to get rid of the other things that were weighing me down. The situation had just come up faster than I had anticipated. Did I regret it? No. I don’t think I never will. The ends always justified the means… As I sat behind the table barely a few feet away from my ex wife, I could not help but remember everything that fallen in place for this, and everything that was fully in place for my future. That was, it wasn’t? Rose was the past, and the championship was my future. To go through that not only relied on the victory over Rose, but the victory over Weapon at Rise to Greatness. They were all pieces of the jigsaw puzzle, and I was the one putting everything together. The door behind the judge stand opened, and about half a second later, the same man who had judged this case for the past two months came out. We all stood up, if only out of respect for the man’s position. Judge: Please be seated. I was not one to let opportunities pass, particularly if Rose was not about to take them. Standing up, I looked at the judge, feigning innocence and concern. It surprised the other three members in the room, but that concern was no longer in my mind. Savior: Your honor. If I may say before we begin that I am grateful for your time since your family received the tragedy from what I’ve heard. I wish to offer my sincere apologies for your loss, and wish your family quick recovery in their lives. I could not tell if the judge had bought my “sincere apology”, but I was not built to care about that. The idea was to appeal to the mass, and unfortunately, the fat man sitting before me was a mass that mattered. Whether he bought it or not, I had made the first mark and had set the pace. The judge merely nodded at me before beginning the case. This was exactly what I had hoped for. Recognition. Slight thanks. I was not picky, but a simple gesture like that was all I needed. Rose was the one to speak first, explaining her situation to her lawyer and the judge. She refused to look at me, instead keeping her eyes down at our hands or at the woman in front of her. Though I had spent little time going over the case with a lawyer, and no time going over it with the legal team of Oleksa, it appeared that in my ignorance, Rose had done little to her advantage. Her story was the same as before, with no nuances or emotional turmoil, though her tears were supplying enough of that. I could not believe it. It was too easy… Rose was trying to win the case based on the complete and utter truth. She wanted a finalized divorce and some money to help her raise the child. It was interesting, however, her route about doing it. Rose and I had signed a prenuptial agreement, which had entitled us to absolutely nothing. So why was she trying to get half my wages? And honestly? She isn’t, you idiot! She wants spousal and child support and custody. The light when off in my head, and I quickly jerked my head up at Rose, whom was still refusing to meet my gaze. So, that was the game that she was going to play? Time to stick with the original plan… Judge: Mr. Savior? I looked back up at the judge, his eyes watching my every move, looking for reaction. I gave him none. Standing up, I walked along the hall, my hands resting against my lips and my eyes focused on my hands. Slowly looking back at Rose and her lawyer, then back at the judge, I felt it again; an almost high. This seemed all too familiar, like I was about to walk through the curtain into the wrestling ring. My world. Taking a deep breath, I took one last look at Rose, keeping her last expression locked in my memory, the last one I would have of her. This was it… Good-bye, Rose.. Savior: Your honor, I stand before you different than when we first met in the courts. I’m a little smarter, I’m a little stronger, and I’m also able to take this matter myself. My employer, Mr. Drachewych, took it upon himself to bring a series of legal team experts to handle this case. You’ll see that I have brought none. I fired them. This wasn’t a case that involved my employer, though I could have brought him in. This was my life and my situation. I thought Rose and I could solve this matter civilly, but she made it quite clear that this was not the case. But furthermore, your honor, recently I found out something that was quite a shock to me. Your honor, in just a few months time, I’m going to be a father. Did you know that? Until two weeks ago, neither did I. A few weeks ago, I walked in for an examination. The doctor handed me my file, which was still with Rose’s. To my great shock, on Rose’s file, I found the truth. I stopped pacing, and looked up at the judge. He was listening. So far, so good. Now for the hard part… Savior: Your honor… do you have any idea what that’s like? To have someone hide the fact that you have created a life, or will soon create a life. Can you imagine what that feels like to be told that you’ll never be a father, but the truth is you always could be? My ex-white kept this from me for so long, months to be exact. I confronted her with this, and her response was simple. “I didn’t want to tell you. I had no intention of telling you”. Though my eyes started tearing up, deep down, I was smiling. I was winning, and that’s all that mattered. This man was a father, and that made him so reliable, so understanding… so damn pathetic. Lawyer: Your honor, I object! Mr. Savior cannot prove that my client said that. I looked back at the lawyer, my eyes showing more tears that I “tried to hide”. Savior: What do you know? You know nothing about life and what it promises. You do not know the emotion behind this situation or the lies that have taken place by your client. No. All you care about is making money. That’s what you and my wife have in common. Once this case is over, you’ll go and find someone else to ruin and make an easy buck. Lawyer: Your honor!. Judge: Mr. Savior! I turned to look at him, but understanding. This man had to remain loyal to the laws that the government had set up for him. However, he was on my side, though neither he nor Rose knew it. Taking a deep breath, I looked back at the lawyer, then back to the judge. Slowly, I walked back to the stand where the judge sat. Savior: Your Honor. The choice is inevitably up to you. But you have been father. You know what that is like. I’m asking you not to take that away from me. Let me experience that for the first time. My wife has portrayed me as some kind of monster. And why? Because of some accident that occurred years ago because she got involved in my job when I told her not to? Because I lied to her about it? I did what I thought would protect my wife. And this is how she repays me? Running away and hiding these facts from me? Forgive me for saying this, your honor, but if I’m a father, I do not want my child near someone like that for long periods of time. Someone who lies, deceives, manipulates, and runs from problems. Lawyer: Your honor! Judge: Overruled! Sit down! I turned and looked at the lawyer who was shocked at the reaction. However, my eyes were on Rose, and her expression was priceless. Her hands shook and her face was all too familiar. She had lost and she knew it. I had won. Me, the liar, had won because my lies were inconsequential. The saint’s one lie had been the downfall. Looking back up the judge, I smiled gratefully. Savior: Thank you, your honor. I walked over to my seat and sat back down. My fingers interlaced with one another as I slowly breathed in the air. The buzzing in my head stopped, and was replaced by grim sense of satisfaction. I did not look back and the truth was, I don’t think I could have. Rubbing his chin, the judge looked at Rose, then at me, before clearing his throat. Judge: Ms. Diamond. These things that have been said… Did you or did you not do them? A look from the judge silenced her lawyer, who was about to say something. At that moment, I felt her gaze on me. I did not look back. Rose, for the first time today, was looking at me, and I did want to see her. Slowly, almost hesitantly, she nodded her head. She might as well have waved a white flag in the courtroom. The judge slowly nodded his head in return. Judge: Under the circumstances, I will authorize the divorce. However, Rose Diamond, I cannot authorize your argument. To deny Mr. Savior his right as a father does not make you a reliable person or, for that matter, mother. Furthermore, your arguments do not hold much water here. If you became involved in Mr. Savior’s job of your own free will, than you are to blame as much as he is, if not more. I’m afraid that, under the circumstances, I must award custody of the child, when it is born, to Mr. Christian Savior. If I had broken Rose’s heart before, this news shattered it. Suddenly standing up, she looked pleadingly at the judge. Rose: No! You can’t! Judge: You will be allowed visitation rights. With both your busy jobs, I am sure you can work something out. There’s nothing more that I can do. Court adjourned The judge slammed the gavel onto the mound before standing up and leaving the room. Rose, however, was pleading with her lawyer, begging for an alternate ruling. Her lawyer, seemingly unaffected, extended her apologies before leaving the room, leaving her alone with me. Slowly, she looked up at me as I stood there, my eyes glaring into hers. We stood there, silent hanging between us. Rose: Christian…please… I had no words to sooth her, not anymore. She looked at me as if I was her last salvation. A smile graced my lips as I slowly and arrogantly down to her, before I began walking down the hall, my voice reaching her as I walked. Savior: I did warn you, Rose. I did warn you… The last I heard of her, were her soft sobs as I opened the doors, and left my past behind. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I’m afraid that this ends the first part of the story. Sorry Weapon, but you just aren’t important enough for this part. Don’t worry. I’ll get to you soon enough. Do not think I have forgotten about our match at Rise to Greatness. Believe me when I say that I look forward to it. Unfortunately, this matter had to be solved first. Personal issues, but you’re next on my list. Until then, enjoy yourself. Indulge in whatever fantasies you may have in your life. Promo anything or any way you like. A video, an audio file, or even an online blog of some kind. It doesn’t matter. You’ll know me when you see me, though I doubt you’ll pay much attention to it, seeing as how you probably still won’t even get my name right for the third time around. Allow me to help you with that issue, before you make a fool out of yourself for the umpteenth time with me. The name is Christian S-A-V-I-O-R. Hopefully this time, you’ll remember that. If not, I’ll be happy to remind you at Rise to Greatness. Now that that is all out of the way, I wish you good day. Take care, and best of luck in your preparations. I’ll be watching… To be continued… |

Era of the Phoenix: Chapter 27 – The Consequences behind the action Tick tock, the time runs out. I suppose that would be a bit premature. Still, the excitement is mounting. I mean it’s what? Two or three days away? Wouldn’t that excites any superstar? Mostly yes… And now, I am one of them... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 1: Breakdown aftermath Time: 9: 23 PM (18 hours before court meeting with Rose Diamond) Place: Breakdown arena My car pulled out of the parking lot without any hassle. My shoulder was a little sore from a match with Toreno, but I was beyond worrying about it. My mind was too busy playing over three scenes. One was my victory over Toreno as I nailed him with the blaze of glory. Another was seeing Weapon be defeated by Donovan Kayl, though it was a disqualification. A loss was a loss. The third thing that had weighed on my mind was the apparent reformation of the High Rollers. Weapon, Sheryl Marie Gray, and now some unknown wrestler had apparently teamed up days before my match with Weapon. Honestly, I had never heard of the High Rollers before today. Truth be told there was little about Weapon’s past that I knew. Was it because I was ignorant? Possibly. Weapon’s career in this business just didn’t interest me. The only thing the man had done in his career that I paid attention to was when he defeated the champion at the time, Xander Valentine. After that, he had lost the championship, got into some pitiful fights with several superstars backstage, and than just ran away. He had then spent the better part of a year playing second rate to a second rate business. Still, I wasn’t about to overlook the facts. At Rise to Greatness, it was going to be a basic 3 on 1. Nothing could be said and done about that. Still, it didn’t seem as threatening as it was being made out to be. True it was three on one. True it was being deemed as career suicide. However, one had to look at the individual elements. I mean, yes, there was Weapon. But even so, that just left his ex-wife, or whatever those two were nowadays, and some no-name rookie. Weapon would no doubt exploit this in the next promo. He would explain how great the numbers were stacked against me, how much greater he was compared to me, and how he was about to end my career once and for all. The man was more predictable than Jason Wheeler and that was saying something. I had meant it when I said that this business was all about adapting. So that was what I had to, and fast. I only had a few days left… Stopping at a red light, I rolled down the window to let a little air into the car. It seemed to help clear my mind slightly. However, I was getting more and more concerned about tomorrow’s events. Tomorrow was the court day, and I wasn’t quite sure how it was all going to pan out. Still, I was somewhat looking forward to it… -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Weighing Down the Choices Time: Present (24 hours after the events of “Courting a Deity”) Place: Toronto Time flies… Time dies… Glory…One blaze of glory… One Blaze of Glory… Glory! The room was nicely air conditioned, far better than over half the areas I had thus far visited in my career. I didn’t bother considering how much it must cost to run a place like this. They probably get it all back in membership fees… I mean I had worked out in dozens of gyms in the last three years, as part of my career, but I had never really been in such an intensively air conditioned one before. I felt as if the air was going to freeze as I breathed it out. It wasn’t uncomfortably cold, just noticeably so. I was wondering why membership was $34.99 a month… However, as I laid on the bench, the bar resting snugly in my hands, I quietly admitted that it was a lot easier to do reps with the bench press. Five…six…seven…eight…God bless endorphins! It felt great! I could not explain it, but the weights were lighter. It was as if something that had been holding me back for the longest time had finally left. Looks like getting rid of the dead weight was more beneficial than I had thought. It’s a lot easier to move and wrestle without the extra weight on my shoulders… As cruel as it sounded, it was true… Weapon, Cherry, the United States Championship, SCW…my mind was focused only on those things. The factor that had delayed that, Rose, was no longer an issue, at least for the next few months. So now…eleven!...my mind can be focused on my objective…twelve! My breath pumped out of my lungs as I pushed the bar back onto the support rack with a small yell. Rolling out onto my feet, I quickly scanned the room, my mind quickly deciding what to do next. I had promised myself earlier that I would not push myself too hard and hurt myself just days before Rise to Greatness. Keeping this in mind, I decided to do barbell curls. Walking over to the rack, I quickly selected the hundred pounds… Better to keep it light… I thought to myself. Picking up the barbell, I turned to face the wall, which was covered from floor to ceiling. The reflection standing before me simply stared back. With a quick release of breath, I lifted the barbell up, my muscles tensing and shaking slightly, a hundred thoughts rampaging through my mind. 1… Soul Surviving Mayhem 2… 3… Weapon nailing me with the Equilibrium after I had humiliated his ex-wife. 4… Wrapping the cable around Weapon’s neck, choking him, and leaving him unconscious. 5… 6… Spearing James Toreno and ending the match earlier this week. 7… 8… 9… Ending this pathetic rivalry once and for all, by finishing Weapon off with the Blaze of Glory, which was far better than any spear he could do. Savior: Ten! The barbell dropped out of my hands, landing on the floor with a dull bang. My blood kept pumping through me, the images still in my mind. Savior: Now all I have to do is send a message… Right after my workout… My mind was now entirely on Rise to Greatness and Weapon. If I was right, and by the time I got my promo set up back home, he would have already done one in a vain attempt to get an upper hand. The workout would have to be cut short today… Best not to disappoint…I better hurry home… -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Part 2: Venom in words… Back at Christian Savior’s home… It had been a while since I had done a recording promo by myself. Usually, I had an SCW team do the recording for me. I couldn’t do that for Rise to Greatness. It was too technical, not enough of what I wanted. This would be pure, uncensored, and uncontrolled… So, I sat on my couch, in my home, my eyes locked on the camera that stood before me. The red light was on, and the recording had begun. I had decided to wear my leather jacket and maroon shirt, more of as a statement of casualness when dealing with Weapon. After all, what was there to be formal about? Savior: Hello, Lethal Weapon. I did promise you that I would get to you, didn’t I? It’s nice to see that you have been paying attention, for once. Leaning back onto the couch, I kept my eyes locked on the camera, though I had never felt so calm in my life. Savior: You see, Weapon, as I left Breakdown a few nights ago, I made a prediction. I predicted what you were going to say and how you were going to say it. And guess what, pal? You didn’t disappoint! I mean, a) you hyped up your “reunited gang”, regurgitated the crap you’ve been saying for the last month, and c) You explained how you have dominated me and will end my career. Bravo, Weapon, bravo. What you fail in, though, is common sense. Because instead of getting my attention and intimidating me, you just wasted my time and my patience with your “life story and promos”. You want to drag my personal life into this? Then why don’t you go talk to our employer, Oleksa Drachewych? That matter, with regards to my ex-wife, was a private matter between two adults. However, it became publicized when Oleksa got his legal team on my ass. Even so, it was still a matter between adults. You, however, like a child, have the audacity to waltz right in and pretend to know what you’re talking about. You waste my time, you waste your time, and more so, you waste the time of countless SCW fans who actually want to see us face off in the ring. So you can drop the act of trying to bring in personal matters that don’t concern you in the vain attempt to intimidate me. Try actually doing so in the ring, because you haven’t done that yet either! Running my hands through my hair, I took a deep breath. The words were coming through me, either by repression or just instinct, I wasn’t sure, but I wasn’t about to stop. Savior: I mean, it’s been one failure after another from you, Weapon. In case you were wondering, I was eliminated fifth in Taking Hold of the Flame, which was caused not by you, but by my brother, Jason Wheeler. So yes, you outlasted me in that aspect. You know the difference, though? At least I didn’t sit around, hiding behind the ring until the last six were in. I was in the ring longer than you, and I did more than you. I eliminated three people and Soul Survivored four, including you, Weapon. You hopped in, ran around a little, did nothing to me, and got eliminated less than two minutes after me. So, since you didn’t win, I guess the only way to judge your ability is how long you lasted. Let’s see…five minutes? How impressive! Try going at least ten, like I did! But that’s too far ahead. Our rivalry runs prior to that, doesn’t it? Let’s take a look at that, Weapon. We really started clashing a week prior to the battle royale, where you and I competed in the over the top rope challenge at Breakdown. We eliminated each other, but let’s look at after that. You pushed me to the ground and then tried to run away, only to have me come back and kick the crap out of you until Majestic got involved. After that, you have promised time and time again to get the last laugh, but who is it that keeps doing that, Weapon? It’s me. Over the past few weeks, you have kept talking about how small I was compared to you, and how easy it was going to be take me down at Rise to Greatness. Well, if it is so easy, Weapon, how come you have to wait till Rise to Greatness to do it? How come I didn’t die when you nailed me with the Equilibrium? How come you didn’t humiliate me at Taking Hold of the Flame? Or for that matter Breakdown? Simple questions, Weapon, I am sure even you can answer them. And while we are on memory lane, as you seemed obsessed with that, I’ll bring my own. You may not remember this because you were unconscious when it happened, but here it is. Last month, you DID nail me with the Equilibrium, and yes, it hurt like hell. But as you walked up the ramp and looked back at me, you saw the same thing everyone else saw. I was not unconscious! I was getting up! Fast forward to next week, while you were facing Madison Divera. I think I did more damage to you than Madison did, as you clearly can’t remember. Not only did I “deliver punches” to your thick head, I wrapped the television cables around your neck and choked you! You were flailing and crying louder than any other superstar I have faced. In the end, we both got a shot in on one another, except with mine, you didn’t get up! You stayed down! See, Weapon, I have made it clear since day one what you can’t do. You can punch me, kick me, strangle me, or whatever. You can never, however, turn your back on me. Time and time again I have said that and time and time again you have failed to listen! So, yes, I reiterate the fact that I have dominated you over the past few months! Anything you have done to me, I have done to you, only bigger and better! Anything you could say to me, I have countered, again bigger and better! That’s what I am compared to you, Weapon. You may be a former SCW Champion, but I am just bigger and better. It isn’t ego. It’s fact. As my fingers tapped against my chin, I remembered something Weapon had said earlier, and a chuckle came to my face, which turned into a short laugh. Savior: But you made me laugh, Weapon. One thing I did not see coming was you offering respect to me for not backing away. You offering me respect… Sorry, old man, but I don’t need your respect, nor have I ever wanted it. Face it, your respect isn’t worth shit in this business. You’re here on borrowed time until it gets too tough like before and you run away with your tail between your legs and your bitch, Sheryl, in your lap. Here’s the truth, Weapon, this business was never yours. It was never “your ring”, “your time”, “your rules”! Even when you were in SCW, it was never yours! Otherwise it would be called, Weapon’s Championship Wrestling, and I am sorry to say, WCW has already been taken and it doesn’t sound good with us. This is Supreme Championship Wrestling, which means that when the going gets tough, you stand and fight it, not run away from it. But you made me laugh, Weapon. You made me laugh when I heard you say, “Feel honored that I am facing you”. If anything, Weapon, it should be the other way around. You should be happy Oleksa even considered you for the night. I sure as hell didn’t. Guess what, Weapon? I agreed to the match long after you got wind of it. Let’s face it, I have nothing to really prove in your eyes, because you have nothing. I just want to beat you to the ground, which is something our “current and worthy number one contender” couldn’t do! Because Rise to Greatness, it means a lot to me, Weapon. It was a launching pad for my career. It was what started my legacy. Because when you check the history books, you’ll see me under first ever triple crown champion. Where will you be? One of the guys that held the SCW title once? You’re right; all I did was hold three titles at once. What did you do? Win the SCW title. Then what? But back to Rise to Greatness. You were not around, which is no big surprise. Last year, Christian Savior rose and not only did I beat my opponent, Hunter, but I hung him by his fucking neck! I was responsible for ending his career in SCW, and that match was a key instrument in it all. After that, I captured the Adrenaline title, which I am proud to say I held longer than you held the SCW championship, big surprise there. After that, I faced the best, and I beat the best! What were you doing all this time? Fighting mid-card guys over in ULW, IUW or whatever you call it now. Here we are, Weapon, on the grandest night in SCW. It only comes once a year, like Christmas, and you and I are one of the main-events. And you can ask anyone who has ever faced me, when the odds are against me, what do I do? I excel. I steal the show! That’s what I do! I pride myself on doing that! I have never failed in doing that, while you have failed time and time again. I, mean, facing jobbers like Madison Divera, and you think you are “back to the old” Weapon? Sure, you beat those guys, but then you just couldn’t do it with Donovan Kayl. You just couldn’t deliver a pin-fall either, could you? You had to have bimbo and no-name take him down for you. So much for the new Weapon, unless you meant to say that in his place, we get a cowering mass of a man who thinks that numbers will assure him a win. My fingers interlaced and pushed, the knuckles cracking under the strain. Savior: If that helps you get through the night after having nightmares of me kicking your ass, then you can go about doing that. But let me state reality to you. I win matches on my own. I do things on my own! I have never required a crutch, like the “New Weapon” needs. But that brings up your promise. That you and your “clique” have returned. One question, Weapon. So what? The “High Rollers” may be back, but who the fuck cares? I mean, we already have Dynasty returning. NBR has been in and out. Hell, while we are at it, let’s roll the Mercenaries and PPV back! Who the fuck cares, Weapon? You forget whom you are facing! I have said it before, and I will say it again. I take “factions” like yours and I destroy them. Instead of thinking that I am just letting out hot air, go ahead and ask ULC, Black Cell, Mercenaries, Unholy Alliance, Instruments of Destruction. I ended their factions because I went out and destroyed their leaders. It’s like taking the head of the snake to kill the rest of it! That’s exactly what I am going to do, Weapon, and at Rise to Greatness, the place I have excelled in for years, that is guaranteed! So feel free to repeat what you said in your promo, about me whining and bitching to Oleksa, and how I am a disgrace to SCW and its roster. Everyone else said it, buddy. Believe me, you don’t intimidate me because your “head games and promos” have all been said by Greg Cherry, Xander Valentine, Mayhem, your little wife/ex-wife, Sheryl, the list goes on. Everything you have said, they have said, and guess what happened? They found themselves face down on the mat, cursing me because I humiliated them! I humiliate superstars like you, Weapon; superstars that underestimate me and believe that I am no good in this business. Face facts, you delusional, old man. I am the Rising Phoenix, the most opportunistic fighter. I am, without a doubt, the best in this business today, Weapon! And I am going to prove it at Rise to Greatness! You can either face it and head back to your little hole in IUW, or you can experience it…in a blaze of glory! The camera faded as I smirked, picturing Weapon’s face when I proved him wrong…once again… To be Continued |
