TEASER: As of Monday morning, the morning after Armed & Dangerous, Jay Gold announced in a quick interview with Adam Sharper that he would get to win number 100 by the end of the Year End Special, guaranteed. He also revealed that he would be taking on more than 1 opponent, all of them being former champions of the SCW of some sort.

Who are these champions? How many has Jay gotten to face him? Will he reach that 100 win plateau in his SCW career?

Tune in on New Year's Eve to find out.

RP Limit: 2 for me...and 2 for each of those that I contacted and that accepted. :P
NOTE: These will all be separate one on one matches.

Deadline: 5 pm EST Tuesday, December 30, 2008

THIS WILL BE THE FINAL ACT

[The end of another year is here. 2009 is just on the horizon and you know what? I kind of like what the future has in store for me. You see, I’ve already picked my own road. Little does Mr. Drachewych know that once I hit 100 wins on New Year’s Eve, he HAS to eventually put me into the SCW Hall of Fame. I made sure it was written on the last contract that he handed out to me. You know, way before my attitude “changed”, as people have been putting it. But whatever. This road that I’ve been on through SCW’s champions of the past is about to be over. I’ve called on a total of four champions, you know, just in case if one of them gets lucky against your Master of the Golden Moment. Even if that DOES happen, have no fear, by the end of the night, the SCWtron will flash 100 over and over again, signifying that I’ve finally done it. My goal will have been accomplished.]

[But there’s this one last night to get through. One more night of hearing the booing, and all because I decided to give David Miller a massive headache and neckache. And go figure, he retaliated by zipping me up into a body bag. I retaliated even harder and we haven’t heard from his since Armed and Dangerous. The pay per view was just yet another chapter in my storied SCW career. It was yet again a testament of what I’m capable of. But never mind. It’s obvious that none of you care about me any more. So I’m going to do you all a favor. I’m going to retire as soon as I win match 100 on New Year’s Eve. That’s right…once again I’ve one-upped you all. However I won’t leave SCW. More on that later. For right now, it’s time to give my final speech to all of you rodents out there…oh yeah and to the champions that I challenged to come to Toronto. I know that at least 2 will show up. As for the rest, god only knows. If they don’t show, easy win for me. One step closer to 100. If they show, they’ll be on the bad end of the last night of Golden Moments.]

[So where have I chosen to deliver these last words of mine as an SCW wrestler? Simple…right outside where it all began…the TD Waterhouse Stadium in London, Ontario…not very far away from Toronto. Not very far away from that city that will bear witness to the single most memorable moment in SCW history, ever. For now though I stand looking straight at the main doors to the stadium. These were the doors that I walked into over five years ago. There are so many memories behind them. Oh don’t worry your pathetic asses, I’m not going to bring you through all of my 97 victories. I’m not going to give you all that pleasure. Instead, I’m just going to stand here in reflect before I deposit this message that has been on my mind for a few days now. Reflect with me SCW on five years of “Supremacy”…………………………… Alright, I’ve had enough.]

Jay: Well everyone. Here we are at the end of another year. And while I didn’t win the SCW World Championship back at Rise To Greatness, I’m very proud of myself. I got rid of a few people that should have never factored into my life in the first place! Namely my bed-ridden son and David Miller. Now though at the annual Year End Special, I’ve set myself up to take on four former champions of SCW. I find it funny that I’ve only been across the ring from one of these former champions, but I’ve been in the ring with all four of them at one time or another. Those are pretty much the only clues that you’re going to get about who they are. Besides, who CARES who they are? Hell, even the athletes I called don't even seem to care as they have yet to lash out at me. Blah. The main points isn't them anyways. The main point is that the entire universe gets to see me, Jay Gold, rewrite the SCW history books one more time! Seriously, what else is there to say after that since I’m at the twilight of my career, even though I'm still 27 years young? I’ll tell you what. Absolutely nothing. I know I haven’t given you all a lot of words, but not a single one of you deserve them. As for the former champions, you will all know who they are soon enough. You will all know who is destined to get their Golden Moments for the first time ever.

[I push open the doors and enter the TD Waterhouse Stadium. It’s the last time that I will do so as an active wrestler, but it won’t be the last time that I do so as an employee of SCW. It’s time for me to do more important things behind the scenes and to help teach the tricks of the trade of this business to some others that deserve to be champions some day. Yeah that’s right, and soon you will all see who I’ll be willing to help. All of that lies just beyond the horizon in 2009 and beyond, which means that the Golden Moments will never stop coming.]

[To me the past will be just that…the past. Dynasty? The past. The Mercenary area where I fought my ass off alongside Vixen Star, Cid Turner and CHBK? The past. All of my title reigns? The past. Retiring City Boy and most likely David Miller? The past. None of that will go into the future. The future is all that’s worth looking forward to now. After New Year's Eve it will be over. So with that I kiss wrestling in the ring goodbye. The Year End Special is the official end for Jay Gold as you all have come to know him…or is it…?]

OOC: I'm sorry, but I just had to post this late, I just had to! It wouldn't be a promo from me unless it was! :P

November 10th 2008 Atlanta Georgia.

It was late Monday Afternoon when Dale Hammond eased his Ford Focus rental into the parking lot of Beautiful Beginnings Daycare Center, looking at the large building with the bright mural of children of all races playing in a sunny meadow, he briefly wondered if he had finally had the right address. The day had not started out kindly for the SCW scout, he arrived in the city after a four hour flight from New York with a brief layover in D.C. and when he arrived; spent another two hours of battling his way through the harsh Atlanta traffic searching from daycare to daycare for the woman he was sent to track down, “All this trouble for one woman, I never spend this much time chasing down any woman..not even my own wife!” he thought to himself as he rubbed his throbbing temple; he would much rather be at home in his recliner nursing a beer while watching ESPN instead of running around chasing after someone who was hell-bent on not being found. Opening his briefcase he took out two aspirin and swallowed them whole, looking into his review mirror he gave a sigh, “Time to go to work Dale.” Closing his briefcase he exited his vehicle and strode over to the building and walked in.

The welcome area of the building was large and surprisingly neat, it’s walls were decorated with various murals of cartoon characters and a large board with information for the parents, there was a sofa and a coffee table with the latest parenting magazines spread across it; Dale was about to have a seat when a voice behind him caused him to nearly jump out of his skin, “May I help you?”

The voice came from an older woman, slightly overweight with hair graying at the temples; she wore a look of suspicion on her face a look that told Dale that she wasn’t going to take any crap, he cleared his throat “Yes, I’m here to see someone.”

“Who?” she asked.

“A Miss Lewis...uh, Liana Lewis.”

“Ah, another one here to see Liana. Listen, I’m tired of you fans coming in here and disrupting my daycare so you can get your jollies off, I am this close to calling the cops--”

Dale cut her off, “I’m not a fan, I work–I mean, worked with her before. I’m Dale Hammond from Supreme Championship Wrestling”

“Prove it.”

Opening his briefcase, Dale felt around before finding his employee pass that allowed him instant access to the SCW Headquarters, their Majestic wrestling territory, and any event hosting by SCW. Holding it up, Dale watched the woman put on her glasses before reading the pass; she handed it back to him. “Does she know that you’re here?” the woman asked.

“No,” Dale admitted, “But this is important that I speak with her.”

“Why’s that?”

“I’m always sent to have released wrestlers sign for their final pay from SCW.” he lied.

“Come with me and no funny business.”

Dale followed the woman through the large oak doors that led to the hallway, they passed a few classes, including one class where a pigtailed little cherub waved and gave him a boisterous “Hi!” Their walk continued until they reached one classroom where the children stood in a semi-circle doing the chicken dance that was being lead by a teenage girl in a scrub top. Dale looked around the room for the woman he was seeking and it didn’t take him long to find her, at six feet even, she was taller than most women with a curvy athletic build; her long black hair was held back in a simple ponytail, her deep brown eyes were full of wisdom well beyond her years as well as a hint of amusement as she listened to what the little girl in front of her was telling her.

“I’m sorry,” the little girl said.

“I know Megan, but there’s nothing wrong with having a little accident.”

“I didn’t mean to,” the little girl said on the edge of another crying jag.

“I know, Megan and it’s normal for a kid your age to wet yourself, you’re just learning how to use the big girl potty and it’s natural to have an accident every now and then. You don’t have to cry okay?” Liana hugged the little girl, “Now go play with your friends.” The little girl wiped her eyes before running to join the rest of the group. Liana smiled as she watched the group do the special “Turkey Dance” in honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. Grabbing the plastic bag that contained Megan’s soiled clothing, she turned to her helper, “Hey Stacy, I’m going to go take this to the laundry room.” When she turned to the door, Liana came face to face with Dale, the sunny smile she wore only moments earlier vanished.

“Hello Liana.”

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

“We want you to return to SCW.”

“What?”

It was quiet in Liana’s class, the children were spread out on various cots for their afternoon nap while the sounds of Bob Marley in lullaby form soothed them in slumber while Dale and Liana sat at one of the small tables in her class drinking herbal tea. It’s was hard to believe that the former SCW wrestler could smile and be cheerful these days, god knows that her near rape in the ring and the release that followed gave her more than enough trauma to fret over in the last year; after that unfortunate event, Liana’s mother begged her to quit, pointing out that the large trust fund were more than enough to provide her with a comfortable lifestyle in which she would never have to work again; Liana had little say into whether or not she would stay or continue, she was future endeavored before she could make her return and given a large amount of money in her no-compete clause which she was sure was SCW’s way of making her less inclined to sue. Once her wrestling career ended, Liana was at a loss; she fell into a deep depression that took her months to get out of, but once she did, she came back with a vengeance. Liana moved into her own little place, got a job at a local daycare, took up hobbies to keep her busy and as hard as it was; she turned her back on wrestling. Wrestling was her love, her passion, the one thing that she enjoyed doing more than anything in the world; to Liana, few things could compare to being in the ring competing and proving to the world that she was the best...still, it was something that she needed to do to move on with her life. Now only months after she settled in to her new life and feeling peaceful for the first time in almost a year, SCW came knocking on her door again.

“Jay Gold is looking to reach is 100th victory and his only demand for a match stipulation is that it’s against wrestlers who once held a championship belt.”

“Hmm...Why me? Why me of all people?” she asked, “Don’t you have wrestlers on the roster for him to face or is there some extra stipulation that the former champion must be someone who was allowed to be degraded in the ring before being released without so much as an apology.”

Dale winced, this wasn’t going to be easy “He wants a match against you,” he told her.

“That’s nice.”

“He’s changed a lot since you’ve last seen him,” he said. “Jay’s not the man that you remember...”

“I doubt that,” Liana said. Jay Gold was SCW’s golden boy, the fan favorite who dazzled the casual fans with his high flying moves and brought in the wrestling purists for his technical mat skills; Jay was a loving father and devoted husband, if you looked up good guy in the dictionary there would be a picture of him right there. “Listen, Jay is my friend.”

“Was...was your friend, the man that’s in SCW has no friends.” Dale told her

“No, Jay is my friend. When everyone in SCW turned their backs on me, he was the one encouraging me and keeping my head up and keep going; if it wasn’t for his help I would’ve never become a former tag team champion to begin with.” Liana said. “I appreciate Jay and all the things that he’s done for me, but I’m trying to move away from wrestling right now.”

“Have you?”

“What?”

It’s a really simple question Liana, have you moved away from wrestling?”

Had she? Wrestling was her love, her passion, the one thing that she enjoyed doing more than anything in the world; to Liana, few things could compare to being in the ring competing and proving to the world that she was the best that wrestling had to offer. It did bother her knowing that she failed at her dream and was no longer doing what she loved the most, still, she could never turn her back on wrestling–no matter how hard she tried. Inside her the deep burning desire to step in the ring was always there beneath the surface, “I don’t think that matters now.”

“This could be your big comeback a chance to redeem yourself in the ring, surely you don’t want your last memories of SCW to be laying in the ring half-naked while--”

“Don’t talk about that night, don’t you ever talk about that night!” Liana snapped.

“Fine, but I’m really surprised by this. What happened to the woman that entered SCW, the one that was suppose to set wrestling on fire; don’t tell me she’s going to end it this way, cleaning the snotty noses of other people’s kids.”

“Teaching is very rewarding, I’m proud of my job and I don’t regret it; I got more pleasure out of teaching these kids how to write a B than that last hellish match I had in SCW”

Dale opened his briefcase, taking out the contract; he slid it in her direction. “I tell you what, you think on this for a day or two and call me.” With that, he eased his large frame out of the small chair and headed to the door. Dale hoped quite earnestly that Liana would sign the contract, a chance to redeem herself in the ring would do her a world of good and he hated to think that he wasted a trip down south for nothing.

Liana watched him leave and stared at her contract, another shot at fame and another chance at redemption; could this really be her chance to show the world that she was as good as she said she was. Liana shoved those thoughts out her head, before heading over to the recycling bin; she was a teacher now, her life was going well, why ruin it by heading back into the past that she ran away from.

Still...

Looking at the contract one final time, she folded it in half and then again until it was a small white square and then placed it in her pocket.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Liana let out a groan when she hit the mat, her body ached with a stiffness that came from hours of training her breathing was shallow and she was completely winded, after months of not being in the ring, she was rusty and it showed. The men that she spend the last month training with were running circles around her, each move they performed was executed with grace and fluidly while her moves were awkward and somewhat stiff. Why was she doing this to herself? Why was she going back? Was a chance to prove her worth in the ring really worth the amount of torture she was putting herself through? A year ago, that answer would’ve been “yes” but now, she wasn’t so sure. It didn’t help to have an SCW Crew there filming her every move, asking for an interview while she tried to focus on the 6'5 280lb guy in front of her who was hell bent on breaking her in.

“Get up.” came the voice of her former trainer Jeff Smith.

“I can’t.” she said, each muscle of her body felt as if it were on fire.

“Get up Lewis or so help me god I’ll get in that ring and kick your ass myself.”

Using the ropes, Liana pulled herself up slowly. “Don’t think that because you’re a woman that Jay Gold is going to go easy on your ass.”

He was right and boy did she know it, if Jay could so easily and callously throw his own family away and try to cripple anyone who stepped up against him, what chance did she have. After hours of searching the internet, reading the dirt-sheets, reading what the fans were saying on the message boards, the rumors of the death of Jay’s son Marc, watching the few videos that SCW hadn’t pulled down from Youtube for violating their copyright, and the angry Youtube rants from various fans; Liana had come to her own conclusion with Jay: He had changed. Gone was the man that she knew and in his place was a cold calculating monster, someone who didn’t give a damn about anyone but himself; someone so completely heartless he would no doubt destroy his own child for the chance at glory.

Something had changed within him and she didn’t like it, judging from the reaction within SCW and it’s fans, they didn’t like it either.

“What happened to you Jay?” Liana thought to herself, what could happen to him that drove him so far down that he would become the kind of man that he would’ve once hated.

“Get your ass out the ring, you have a ten minutes to take a breather and I want your ass back in that ring pronto!” Jeff barked.

Liana was thinking god above for her chance to catch her breath, she slid out from the ring and went to the bench where her Gatorade was waiting for her, opening it she took a sip and tried to ignore the cameras in her face filming her.

“The complete and utter failure of my wrestling career took it’s toll on me, for the last ten years of my life I’ve worked long and hard to build a name for myself as a wrestler. I traveled the world going to three different countries hoping to hone my craft and make a name for myself–to carry on my family’s wrestling dynasty so that it would not die, but live to see another generation of Lewis’ step into the ring. So when I was fired, I think it’s suffice to say that I took it very hard. Depression kicked in and slowly I retreated into my own world, there were days when I couldn’t get out of bed, instead I would lie there wondering what happened to my life...what happend to the gold and glory that I knew was mine? What happened to the decade long dream of becoming the legend that my grandfather and parents were? What happened to carrying the Lewis name on another generation? What happened to the women I was suppose to be? I spent my time in bed pondering those questions asking myself Why?

Why?

Why?

Why?

Surely my life was meant for more than this? I thought my life was over when I was fired, my dream destroyed, I felt as if I had nothing left to live for and there were days when I just wanted to end it all. It reminded me of another time when I was at my lowest and thought that I would never come back from where I was...but I did, I slowly pulled myself up, brushed that dirt off my shoulders, and I moved on with my life and this time, I did the same thing. Just when my life is back on track and things are looking good, I get message from SCW; wanting me to come back and go one on one against my old friend Jay Gold. The very company that crushed my dreams, has now come back asking me for a favor and who was I to say no to a chance at facing Jay Gold, especially the Jay Gold that we see before us now. The Jay Gold who would kill, cripple, and maim at the chance for glory, the man turned his back on the people who loved him and is now such a selfish and egoistical bastard he can’t see anything other than the number 100. What happened to you Jay? Was becoming a legend really worth throwing your wife and children away for? Was it really worth alienating the fans and friend who cared about you? The very fans who cheered for you win or lose because you gave so much in the ring? Is getting into the hall of fame really that important to you? I know firsthand all about the desire to win and prove yourself as the best, but even I know that choosing a chance at fame over your own family is pretty fucked up. Yeah, once you hit that magical number, you name will be in the hall of fame and that’s all you’ll have; just a picture on a wall in a museum. Then you’ll go home to an empty bed and an unfulfilled life because you had something that most men would’ve killed to have and threw it all away."

Putting her drink down, Liana leaned forward and reached under the bench; taking out her gym bag, she pulled out the contract given to her weeks earlier and pen. With a quick flourish she scrawled her name across it in a bold script.

"The Karma you created for the sins you committed in the last year will come back to haunt you...who knows when, it could be now or it could be ten years down the line, or even when you’re an old man all alone in the world wondering why nobody likes you. It will come back Jay and it will bite you in the ass so hard that you’ll wonder what the fuck just happened...and who knows, maybe I’m the divine justice that will be sent to deal it out to you...I guess we won’t find out until New Years...won’t we.”

Handing her signed contract to the camera man, she placed her pen back in her bag and slid it back under the bench. Taking another sip of her drink, Liana leaned back against the cool wall of the gymnasium and watched the two men sparring in the ring. This was her big chance, she was sure of it.

So why did she feel like a lamb being brought out for the slaughter?
