The AWF has announced that Brian Kinney, former wrestler for the AWF, has become the new majority owner. It is said that Mr. Kinney will own 66% of the AWF while Aires Allocco will own 37%. This happened over the past few days when Brian Kinney met behind closed doors with Philip Grisham, former AWF Co-Owner.
It was widely reported that Brian bought out Sara Delamico's shares immediately after she was removed from her post. Many may remember Sara has the daughter of Christian Delamico, aka Kasheryn. Sara was arrested and placed in psychiatric facility for the criminally insane while Philip Grisham has taken the fall for a former employee embezzling millions from the AWF.
Rumors have circulated around the Internet that Philip was in fact in on the embezzlement but those rumors were squashed earlier this evening by representatives from the AWF.
For more on this story read the following that is courtesy of the AWF.
AWF Press Conference

The scene opens in Boston, Massachusetts inside the downtown corporate office of The Brian Kinney Foundation where we see Philip Grisham, Brian Kinney, Aires Allocco, and a host of media personnel. Philip makes his way up to a podium that has one microphone extending from it.
Philip: Good afternoon and I would like to thank all of you for joining us today. As you all know we are getting ready for the next edition of Massacre this Sunday but there are some major announcements that need to be made that will ultimately affect the landscape of the AWF forever. It has been reported that the AWF has been dealing with this severe economic crunch that has left the housing industry reeling as well as many people throughout the world. It has been no lie that Aires, Sara, and myself came together to bring back the AWF. With the recent events that have caught everyone off guard, namely Sara being arrested and admitted into a psychiatric facility for the criminally insane. But that has not been the only problems that we have had to deal with as a new company trying to get our name back out into the world. Right after Sara was arrested we had an outside accounting firm to come in an audit our books. We learned that millions of dollars was missing, thus crumpling our efforts to be competitive with our larger rivals. After a full investigation we have learned that the person responsible for embezzling from us was not Sara Delamico. It was someone that I never would have thought. I feel responsible for this because it was me that had this person transferred to the accounting department and I must now pay the price.
In an effort to keep the AWF afloat and to keep our wrestlers happy with our product and to keep their paychecks from stopping altogether, I am announcing that my shares of the AWF have been bought out, therefore, as of this moment, I am no longer the AWF Co-Owner. My time with the AWF has been a huge learning experience but only being twenty-two years old was a cause for concern. I Thought I was going to be able to handle running a huge federation like this but ultimately it came back to bite me in the ass. My father, Jordan Grisham, is a former owner of this federation and I wanted to make him proud by doing the same thing. Those efforts have not paid off and I have only caused a complete mess of everything. The wrestlers are unhappy, the support staff is unhappy, hell, even I am unhappy. I can not in good conscious continue forward with the running of this company which is why...
Philip pauses for a moment as Brian Kinney stands and walks forward. He stops, standing next to Philip, as the two men make eye contact.
Philip: That is why today, Brian Kinney has become the majority owner of the AWF, buying out all shares from Sara and myself. Most of you know Brian Kinney as a current wrestler at SCW where he was a World Champion. He is also a former World Champion here at the AWF and was better known as Tyger during his stint here. It is because of him that the AWF will live to see another day. He has been working a great deal with me and my father this past week to reach some type of agreement. After hours of talks I decided that it was best that Brian take over the AWF as he has far more experience in the wrestling world. With his knowledge of this industry the AWF will only prevail. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Brian Kinney!
The room is full of shock but everyone stands and welcomes the new owner of the AWF, Brian Seth Kinney. Philip makes his way to the chair Brian was sitting in, visibly upset with himself.
Brian: Thank you and I would like to say that what Philip has done takes a lot of courage. To admit to millions of people that he ultimately screwed up takes a lot of balls and for that he should be commended. Nobody should have to endure what he has had to over the past few weeks. I would not wish that on my worst enemy and believe me, I have several enemies. Once this information begins to spread those same people are going to look for me to fail. I can tell you that failing is not an option for me. Aires Allocco and I will make sure of that. I know what you are thinking already. If Sara and Philip have failed what makes you think Aires won't? I can tell you that he is dedicated to making sure the AWF succeeds. Philip saw that he was in way over his head and got out before the doors could be closed, thus being the reason why AWF would fail. But because he came forward to ask for help I saw it as a sign that he wanted to do the right thing.
To all of our wrestlers, support staff, corporate staff a new day is here. I am pleased to tell you that this morning most of you should have received your paycheck for the past two weeks as well as this week. We want to thank everyone for being patient during this hard time. Things are going to get better and if you are active and 100% dedicated to the AWF you will be rewarded. Aires and I will work to make sure that happens. Beginning with the next show everyone will be evaluated and if we see that you are not holding up your end of the contract you signed with the AWF then you may find yourself without a job.
Now I know that those of you in the media are wondering what will happen to my wrestling career in SCW. I will still compete at SCW as a wrestler if Oleksa Drachewych will allow it. I do not know what his stance is on having an owner of a rival federation as an active wrestler. I will say that my time there is coming to a close and I will ultimately retire as a wrestler and focus on running the AWF with Aires. I won't be as active as I once was but I have some unfinished business to take care of. I won't get into that here but just know I will make sure that I am available to the entire staff and wrestlers here at AWF. I have an open door policy and I look forward to working with everyone.
To the members of the media, we thank you for coming out. We are NOT going to take questions from you today because of everything that we need to discuss and go over. We will have another press conference in the coming days to let you as know what's going on. Our main concern is to focus on our wrestlers and their fans. They are our number one priority right now. As long as they are happy, the front office is happy. That I can promise you. Again, thank you all for coming out.
Brian, Philip, Aires, and Jordan make their way to the a door that is directly to the right of them. They quickly exit, whispering softly words of congratulations and thanks. The members of the media all gather their belongings and begin to exit the building as the major announcement starts to sink in. We then see Brian and Aires walk off and get into a white limousine while Philip and Jordan make their way to a red hummer. The scene then fades to black.
Comments from Oleksa Drachewych & Brian Kinney
Mr. Drachewych on Brian becoming AWF Co-Owner:

"Well obviously we wish the best for him as this is a great opportunity for the former SCW Champion. However, obviously, his duties with AWF are going to cause some conflict with his duties for SCW. Perhaps if AWF is willing to affiliate with the SCW as a developmental fed, the SCW could aid Mr. Kinney in running the AWF.
Furthermore, I would just like to add that the rumours that AWF has been spreading with regards to their scheduling difficulties of their pay per view. Madison Square Garden double-booked the venue and as is natural at this point, the SCW had booked the venue first and had priority. It was after we chose to retool our schedule and my contacts at the Garden were in no way angry. In fact, they were pleased that they were able to maintain a verifiable draw in their arena to help their business during this economic downturn."
Brian's reaction from comments by Oleksa Drachewych

"I thank Mr. Drachewych for his kind words and vow to make sure that I am both dedicated to AWF and SCW. I have already announced my intentions of retiring in the coming months as wrestler at SCW. AWF is where I first got started as a wrestler but it is SCW that has molded me into the person that I have become today. Without my accomplishments there I don't think I could take a huge leap of faith like this and take majority ownership of the AWF. As for the rumors and comments that have been said regarding the whole Madison Square Garden debacle, that is in the past and it won't be something that happens again. It was a freak scheduling error and it happened before my time. We are going to focus on the future and work with SCW in every way possible that we can. A new day is here and the days of the two feds fighting will end."
The AWF will also have in investigative series on how all of this transpired. It is something you don't want to miss!
