ASP, Andrew Samuel Pugh is in his snazzy locker rrom reading the Plain Dealer and filling out a NCAA March Madness Tournament. As the cameras shine on him, he stops and sports a cocky smirk on his face. ASP: That's right, the camera should always be on greatness such as myself. See last week, the King himself got some revenge on one of Mr. Roboto'd goons and tonight, I face this Glacier character. Glacier, you going to step in the ring with the future. See, ASP Andrew Samuel Pugh is 2-3 since coming to SCW and after ASP's epic match, I will be 3-3. So Glacier, get ready because when ASP is in the ring, it's Showtime! And when it's showtime, the only star that shines brighter than the sun is ASP...Andrew Samuel Pugh. Bank on that! And as far as for you Mr. Roboto, ASP's got a message for your goons Come one and come all because ASP, Andrew Samuel Pugh will come like the King that he is. So remember that Roboto because you two will feel a royal cornation courtesy of ASP. And that's the truth! |

The Tarot Cards of Life Andrew, let’s face facts…you’re pathetic. Your debut was against a guy named Owen McMahon. How original. While you won, everything from there on has been nothing less than a downfall. You haven’t won a single important match since, how can I even count last week’s victory? If it weren’t for Mitchell you would have lost like what, three matches in your short time here? You’ve been beaten by nobodies and have beaten nobodies in return then have the nerve to call yourself the future. You, who cannot even beat a single person worth salt in this company, will take on the likes of me: A former tag team champion who trained a former US Champion? Tell me, Andrew, what makes you qualified to still have be on roster much more face up against someone like me? Is it your name? Is it the fact you are filling out a bracket for NCAA even though you can’t even fill a time slot with your “short and to the point” promos that amuse me because you really think you are something hot. The only person who has a right to sport any cocky smile is me. You on the other hand need to do us all a big favor and go join some second rate federation. I heard IWC had some space open for you. Over there you can fight the likes of the Fullmetal crew and listen to all their horrifying promos as they listen to you speak about two irrelevant sentences. Hey, if you suck enough they might offer you a spot in their group. You both seem like you can fit the mold for laughing stocks and bottom dwellers of sports entertainment companies. While you figure out your next career move, I’ll make your current one which is to stay at the bottom of the heap until you realize your kind isn’t wanted here. This federation is for competition, not for imbeciles who can’t even form a couple of sentences to discuss their match. The only part of you that’s going to shine is your eyes when stars begin to formulate around them from getting your ass slammed to the canvas for being stupid enough to not take me for the threat I am. Whether he had liked it or not, Anthony had given up my lonewolf status since he was running with Bad Company and Justin Davis. It had slowly annoyed him but he knew it was worth having “associates” in this company. He had seen so many try to go to the top with no one holding their back and most had been destroyed. You need a Diamond, a Club, a Spade, and a Heart. Hudson? Heart. The kid is annoying but I don’t see another former SCW Champion with as much heart as him. So who could be the spade? That would either be between Rachel and Anthony. It would be Rachel. She digs the most out of her stable mates as well as herself. She is a leader by example and when she does well, Bad Company overall does good. Diamond? That right now belongs Davis, whether any of his fellow comrades see it or not – he is the most valuable in that group right now. He’s been making moves in the last couple of months that put Bad Company on the map as a stable and put him on the map as a championship contender. Club would be Anthony’s role. You notice the club looks just like a clover. Good luck. That’s what Anthony is, he’s the kind of person who as evil as his intentions are – looks out for this own. He is the good luck guardian angel for those who choose to look over. He digs into them just as a Rachel, a spade, would but through his cold hearted treatment it is clear as day that he wants to see himself and his friends succeed. That’s why he is picky – he only chooses to be friends with those who are intelligent enough to unravel his message and take it for what it is meant – not for how he said it. These were the tarot playing cards he had in his hand. He had to use every single one of them to get to the top. A cold feeling shot up his spine as he thought about having to work with Hudson again. You could see the strong grip on the arm of the chair as he sat on as he sat backstage waiting for his match. Wearing his hooded jacket his eight-pack was now a six-pack as his last two weren’t as visible given his aging. He wondered what would go next. It could be his sight, his hair color, and given his current situation – his mind might be the first to take “exit - stage right”. He felt his only true formidable opponent was time itself. He couldn’t shit talk time, he couldn’t fight time, and he couldn’t do anything but watch as the sands of time drained to the bottom. He had to make a push to the top before it was too late. He didn’t want to be CHBK – still fighting while his kids were adults. He zipped up his hooded jacket and stuck his hands in the pockets. He simply hummed the “Til I Collapse” song by Eminem attempting to pump himself up since he forgot his MP3 player back at the hotel. He was planning to come to the arena with Davis but he felt he needed to be by himself for a little. All he needed was a little time to himself. He stretched and looked at the time. He hadn’t turned on the television in the Bad Company room – he just wanted to hear the tick tock that reverberated in his chest – that reverberated in his very life. 60 times he heard it, every second for every minute as he waited for Breakdown to start. He could spend this time working out. He could spend this time plotting. What would it be for? It’s useless now. You’re either ready or you’re not. Everyone has a set of particular things they do before they get prepared for a match. Some pray, some have good luck charms, some talk to their friends, and some people like Anthony stare down the time until it runs out. Some people like Anthony get up and face opponents in their face with no intent on backing down. Some people like Anthony had no regrets or remorse – their sole intent and determination drives them to the ring every week. Even when his body cannot take anymore…even when he could drop to his knees after all the burden put on his shoulder…he couldn’t stop. If his heart didn’t stop, neither would he and he would have to give it all to get where others are. He had to work twice as hard. He watched the big hand pass the little one as scenes fade to black. |
