A CHANGE WITHIN ME

Date: Sunday, April 11, 2010
Time: 4:31 P.M.
Location: Outside the Kissinger household in Dallas, Texas

For the past several weeks Stacy Kissinger has taken up residence back in her childhood home. Her mother has helped to take care of her a bit as her wounds from the assault by Drew Weilacher have continued to heal. Some of the stitches from the Underground Invitational back at the 2 for 1 SCW/IWC Supershow are still visible as Stacy now finds herself outside, all by herself as her mother proclaimed to her a few minutes ago that she’d be out for the entire evening, leaving Stacy to fend for herself.

No sooner had her mother left, Stacy decided to change into the apparel that she finds herself in now, a pair of old tattered blue jean shorts and a white farm girl shirt that she took out of the clothing pile that she used to wear when she was younger. She has it tied off just beneath her breasts, allowing her stomach and obviously her pierced navel to show. It glimmers in the sunlight as the sun is already in its slow descent down the sky.

However Stacy pays no attention to the sun as she looks to her car. She eyeballs it for a few moments before going over to the hose and unraveling it a bit from its resting place. She turns on the hose and proceeds to spray at some of the dirty spots that are still apparent from some of her drives throughout the country. She gets around to the rear bumper of the car and is forced to spend some time on it. As she lets the water drench the back of the car, she doesn’t realize that her derriere is facing the street, which brings in a few cat calls as young males are on their way home from work in their own cars. Stacy turns to the roadway a few times and smiles, sometimes blushing when the guy comments her. Stacy finishes all the way around the car. Just as she’s hanging up the hose, she hears her cell phone ring, which she has left on the front porch on the small green bench. Stacy takes a seat on the bench and puts the phone to her ear. Judging from the voice on the other line, it’s easily to tell that it’s SCW Hall of Famer Jay Gold, her infamous cousin.

Stacy: Hey.

Jay: Hey Stace. I’ve been wondering where you’ve been. The night that Drew took care of his business for Mr. Drachewych, taking you out, I tried to find you, but Dr. Hatten beat me to the job. Where are you right now? And are you okay?

Stacy: I’ve been home fer a few weeks now afta I got outta the hospital. I thought ya’d eventually call me, and low and behold, now I have ya on the phone. I need to speak with ya ‘bout somethin’.

Jay: Well, I have something to tell you as well. I had it out with Mr. Drachewych and well, for about the umpteenth time in SCW history, we find ourselves once again disliking each other…big surprise.

Stacy: So ya came to yer senses much like I did and much like Greg did.

Jay: Yeah. But anyways, I hope you’re alright. I can drive down there and be there within a few hours to come and see you. I’m in Oklahoma City on business actually…

Stacy: Ummm, hold that thought. Jay dearest, I…I have a bit of a confession to make to ya and I don’t want ya to get mad at me. I’ve been thinkin’ thangs ovah the last few weeks and well, I know ya have thangs to patch up with yer wife up in New York. I want ya to go do that. My months with ya have been AMAZIN’ Jay, but some of it has just been very wrong and I’m sorry fer leadin’ ya on.

Jay: Awww Stace…

Stacy: I mean it. Patch thangs up with Martha. You’ll be fine and so will I.

Jay: So you’re saying goodbye to your cousin just like that?

Stacy: No. I’m not sayin’ bye. I still wanna keep in touch. It’s just, well, I kinda want change Jay. As fer ya, every second ya were with me, I could tell that ya miss her. So please, I want ya to go to her. I won’t get in the way.

Jay: But Stace…

Stacy: No buts cuz. I should go right now. Gotta few thangs to do before my mom gets back. Ya can call me wheneva ya want. My ears’ll always be open fer ya.

Jay: Alright. I must say Stace, just from the sound of you, you ARE changing.

Stacy: I decided that it’s time fer me to really grow up and make my own decisions cuz. I hope ya can make yers too now that neitha of us feels the need to be held down by Mistah Drachewych. Look dear, I really gotta go.

Jay: I’ll see you around then.

Stacy: Of course. Bye.

Stacy closes up her cell phone after shutting it completely off. She seemingly wants no more interruptions. However she doesn’t move from the bench. Instead she now enjoys the sky as it turns some very vivid colors as the sun continues to sink down the sky. Lovingly she looks at her 2010 Chevy Camaro SS, knowing full well that it will be gaining more usage soon enough…

The TV has just been turned off in her room as the brunette beauty has seated herself in the padded chair in her room and is looking at her laptop screen, checking up with things on her Facebook page from what can be told. It’s hard to tell what she’s typing up, but it really is no one else’s business but hers and the person that she’s connecting with. She giggles in a calm manner and it’s followed by a loving “Awww.” The moment she clicks her mouse, she turns away from the laptop, laying her arms on top of the chair and placing her chin right on top. This gives her a view out her second story window. However there’s nothing but darkness to look at outside. So she begins to talk to herself, something that she doesn’t normally do.

Stacy: I’m very glad that that guy came and visited me in the hospital. He was far more invitin’ than Doctah Hatten is. I know the doctah only tried to help, but he was that evil man’s hand-picked doctah. So ya, I was transferred elsewhere thanks to a man that ‘til now I hadn’t even recognized. Oh but I have now and I’m glad that I have. Nothin’ ‘gainst my cuz as Jay’s a great man, but the two of us really needed to get goin’ in our separate directions. I’m glad he came to grips with it and ain’t mad at me. Besides, I doubt anyone can stay mad at this face.

And that includes some of yas at Supreme Championship Wrasslin’. Oh ya, the rumah mill basically says that I made a lotta enemies evah since I joined Drachewych’s cause. But people can change and I hope that a lot of yas can gimme a second chance. I’m not sayin’ to face me in a match and play dead just so I can pick up a win. I mean in otha ways…as in backstage. When ya pass by me, I don’t want ya’lls to see me as an “infection” or as a curse to yer health. I want ya’ll to see me as the bright smile that will brighten up yer day. I wanna be seen as that ray of sunshine that’ll make ya’ll perk up and realize that someone indeed can do a complete 180 in attitude.

But don’t get me wrong. I’ll still be competitive once I get goin’ again. I want the SCW World Championship pretty much more than anyone on the rostah. I’ll do what I gotta do to get it. But here’s the thang. There’s no more reason fer Karnivale to be mad with me, or fer the Social Misfits to look to oppose me, ‘cause I’m hangin’ up the past and lookin’ toward the future.

The leggy Texan pauses, glances to check the computer monitor again and turns back around.

Stacy: I know forgiveness is a lot to ask ‘specially afta all that I took part in, but I’m hopin’ that all I wronged against in the past can at least realize that I’m on the right road now, ready to get to the top of Supreme Championship Wrasslin’. And when I get there, well, the world will get to see me, the Solid Gold Sensation, the Dallas Delight, at my very best…both in competition and in positive attitude. I have someone to thank fer helpin’ me see the light too and his name will be revealed in good time. The point is, I’m comin’ back to SCW. I will not hide in the shadows anymore and be a figment to anyone’s imagination. I’m real and this time around, I’m not gonna be hidin’ behind anyone. I’m gonna let it all hang out and allow my heart to be worn on my sleeve as it should be. As fer you fans out there, I’ll be workin’ hard to earn every single cheer that I get from here on out. I’ll respect all of yas. I’ll wave to yas. I’ll be the woman that I should be, and not be somethin’ that I’m not. All of ya’lls have my word…sealed with an American Kiss.

Some of the blush comes to Stacy’s cheeks as she issues a kiss to no one in particular. She turns back around to her computer now and settles in. Her road to recovery has almost ended. And well, it’s up to Stacy as to what happens next…
