[As the images of Aaron Rupp's certain demise fills the 52 inch high definition television we hear the familiar voice of Blake Mason. He's laughing. He is taking menacing delight in the misfortune of one half of The Liberation.] Mason: Now he knows how it feels! [Casey Mason, Blake's sister; shakes her head disapprovingly at her older brother.] Casey: Don't tell me you're taking pleasure in Rupp's misfortune? Mason: Why shouldn't I Casey? Last year he blindsided me. Ttook me out. He rendered me unable to compete in Taking Hold of Flame. If that wasn't bad enough he stole months of my SCW career away from me so yes Casey. I'm happy Aaron got what he deserved. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. [She sighs.] Casey: What happened to you? Mason: Now you're disappointed in me? Casey: Just because Katie Steward didn't give you what you wanted doesn't mean you had to turn into this. Mason And what's 'this' Casey? Casey: You're not my brother. My brother was a nice, kind, happy go lucky man. He was positive, upbeat. Even in the darkest day he saw the light at the end of the tunnel. But ever since Katie made a fool of you, you're this. Mason: She can rot in hell too. Casey: Whatever Blake. [She storms out the room. Blake returns his attention to the TV. The medics are assisting Aaron away from the ring. As Blake looks at this he says...] Mason: I'm praying this was God's way of punishing you for the sins you committed against me. If God can end Katie's miserable existence too I'll be a happy man. [A siniser smile creaps across Blakes face as the scene fades to black.] |
