I finally saw Iron Man 2 last night and it was awesome (not quite as good as the first, but definitely in the top five for the Marvel films still, with the first one for me still being easily number one) and all the stuff with Fury and Black Widow in it, plus hiring Stark as a "consultant" and then the ending has me majorly hyped for the next two films. Thor is one of my favourite ever comics characters and a Thor film has unlimited potential, and of course Captain America is more than icon in comics history. When they've got those films done then the Avengers lineup is ALMOST ready (I presume there won't be a separate Ant-Man/Giant-Man and Wasp film and they'll just introduce them as part of the Avengers, if at all), then hopefully we'll get Iron Man 3 as well...

I still love Robert Downey Jr as Stark as well, I can't get over how awesome he is. I hate Toby Maguire as Peter Parker. I liked Patrick Stewart as Xavier and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine but felt all the other X-Men in the first film could have been cast better. I like Michael Chiklis as Ben Grimm and Chris Evans as Johnny Storm, but not Ioan Gruffudd as Reed Richards or Jessica Alba as Sue Storm-Richards. Ed Norton as Bruce Banner they got right, even if it took them two attempts, but seriously Downey Jr as Tony Stark they absolutely nailed, and both films were great.

I eagerly look forward to the next two, but I don't have that high hopes for them because I sense they could screw it up so easily.

For those that don't know, X Men First Class is coming out sometime as well.

So far that's all I've read on it but the premise sounds decent. Other then what they did with Deadpool in the last origins movie I was impressed with it overall.

It's a good time to be a comic book fan for sure.

I thought I heard that the Riddler was going to be the next villain in the next Dark Knight installment.....unless they changed it.

Anyways. Glad to see that they have the concept art of the costumes out for Thor and Captain America - can not wait for those movies. Also can not wait for The Avengers movie in 2012.

Apparently there's also an Ant-Man film planned for 2012, or so I read the other day. I thought they'd just save Pym for the Avengers, since in my opinion Pym and Janet aren't strong enough characters to get their own film. All the biggest events of their comics lives occurred in the Avengers comics after all, they never got successful solo titles.

I assume then that if Avengers is scheduled for 2012 that we won't get Iron Man 3 until after it, which kinda sucks because dammit I want it yesterday! Speaking of things I want yesterday... Brian Michael Bendis met with the film crew for Spider-Man 4. B) !!!!!

Ultimate Spider-Man = win, Brian Michael Bendis is a fucking GENIUS and if he's in any way doing ANYTHING to help the rebooted Spidey film I have faith it'll kick the shit out of the previous three (although honestly it wouldn't be hard to kick the shit out of the third one, it was arguably the worst Marvel film yet... and yes, worse than Ghost Rider!)

I'm also looking forward to the Green Lantern Movie, I used to love the comic's as a kid and i'm a fan of Reynolds so i'm also expecting good things.

Nolan has also said that he has the ending of Batman 3 finished and is workin on the superman reboot as well. So it's defintely going to be an epic two years for superhero movies.

I heard that they might just start Spider-Man over. Cause Tobey Maguire doesn't want to do another Spider-Man, plus with the third film failing, I'd say they should just start over Spider-Man, but we'll see what happens.

Though, after searching imdb.com. This is what I found.

Yeah, they're rebooting spidey entirely.

It's gonna be set when he was in school so i'm assuming it may have ultimate ties to it which could be awesome. The kid who was in the lightning thief was one of the possible people to play spidey.

As for an Antman movie, i remember reading that marvel were going to make a load of low budget direct to dvd movies i think with like a 20 million dollar budget which Antman was one of them (I think) along with Dr Strange.

Yeah....I'd say they should just make Ant-Man and Doctor Strange low budget/dvd movies. Not a lot of people know who Ant-Man is in the first place, and as for Doctor Strange, he wasn't as big either.

I will only accept Antman as a DVD if he beats his wife and drinks a lot.

Otherwise, I am not interested.

And changes personality at least three times in the film. So many to choose from as well: Ant-Man, Giant-Man, Yellow-Jacket, Goliath and now even The Wasp...

I wouldn't be surprised to see an Earthworm Jim movie, due to Hollywood making a RollerCoaster Tycoon movie(no lie, look it up).

Also, reminds me, Earthworm Jim is coming to XBLA this Wednesday. Can't wait for that.
