Superiority Complex (Part I)

[In Brittany’s three year professional wrestling odyssey she has come across one constant in the world of professional wrestling, the relentless attack against ego. What defines the human ego? The ego is the false self. It’s the part of our being that’s I-Me centered, the ego is the child within who strives for justifications to say I’m better then everyone. Professional wrestlers have used everything from religion, the number of World Heavyweight Championships won; their style of dress; you name it. The ego uses material possessions and accomplishments to define itself as better, superior, special; you name it.

Angelica Jones, former nine time World Heavyweight Champion; by all accounts is the personification of an egocentric wrestler. She claims superiority over her opponents by reminding them how many championships she won. She drills into her opponents minds how sadistic she is by retelling her extreme match war stories. She wears her superiority by dressing in high end clothes. Everything about Angelica Jones screams… “I’m better then you.”

But Angelica isn’t completely driven by ego. To the surprise of everyone she has chosen to stand by the monster she stole the show with at Purgatory, Brittany Lohan. The same women who assaulted her sister backstage on the inaugural episode of Livewire, the same monster who rammed Glory Braddock’s skull through a car window at D-Day, the same demon who called her a coward all in an attempt to force her out of retirement is the same women she is choosing to mentor.

Fans and wrestlers alike will question Angelica’s motives. Is she helping Brittany out of the kindness of her own heart or is Angel helping B-Lo to inflate her already enormous ego. Whatever Angel’s motives are Brittany doesn’t care. She is being mentored by a former nine time World Heavyweight Champion. The way B-Lo sees it, it doesn’t matter if Angel’s using Brittany or legitimacy cares about B-Lo’s success, if everything goes as planned B-Lo will become a future MCW World Heavyweight Champion.

On this day Brittany finds herself in foreign territory. When Angelica suggested the two go to the Copley Mall to shop for new clothes B-Lo thought Angelica was out of her mind. Traditional girl activities rubbed her the wrong way. She wasn’t against the stereotypical “lets go to the mall and purchase eighty million pairs of shoes girls night out” ideal. In her mind she had better things to do, like outperforming her four hundred pound dead lift.

Brittany stood nervously in front of a wall mirror. She’s wearing a black unvented notched buttoned up jacket with black pocketless pants.

Angelica stood behind her protégée grinning from ear to ear. Like God she wanted to remake Brittany Lohan into her own image. She wanted B-Lo to personify living breathing excellence.]

Angel: You look like a champion, Brittany.

BLo: What’s the point of this? I look like Donald Trump’s next apprentice.

Angel: You’re my apprentice.

[Angel grins. She rests a reassuring hand on Brittany’s right shoulder. B-Lo doesn’t budge, she continues gazing at her unfamiliar reflection in the mirror.]

Angel: Image is everything Britt. Like it or not people judge us on our outside appearance. The way you dressed—no offense- was pedestrian. You’re not a tomboy Brittany. You’ll become Motor City Champion soon so start dressing like a champion.

[Angel removes her hand.]

Angel: We’re better then everyone. We’re better then the fans. We’re better then the entire MCW roster. We’re better then Jesus. A simple white robe might’ve been good enough for him. Not successful women like us. Now do you want people envying you or feeling better then you?

BLo: Envy.

Angel: And that’s the point Brittany. We’re sending a message to every MCW superstar and fan alike we’re the elite. We’re the best. We’re superior to them in every way. It begins with how we present ourselves. You might not like it Brittany but that’s how the world works.

BLo: High school was tough for me. People made fun of because I wore jerseys and jeans.

Angel: So you thought staying true to your “sense of style” would show them?

[Brittany looks at Angel. She nods, agreeing with Angelica’s assessment.]

Angel: That’s why I respect you. You don’t back down. But sometimes you need to give a little, Brittany. I’m asking you to give a little. This isn’t high school anymore. This is the real world. And in the real world you need to accept image is everything. God judges us on the inside. People judge with their eyes.

Blo: If that’s true we’re going to hell, Angel.

Angel: Before we do, we’re taking the entire MCW roster with us.

[The two most sadistic, callous women in MCW history burst out laughing at the same time. The laughter served two purposes. One it made Brittany forget she was dressed like Ivanka Trump and two Brittany was slowly beginning to accept Angel’s point of view. Brittany could fight the human condition like she battled Angelica to the brink of death in their epic Seven Stages of Hell match. The truth is and always has been image is everything. If Brittany wanted to ascend to Angelica’s level she needed to humble herself to Angelica’s point of view.

Angel and Brittany could play dress up all day long. They knew an extreme makeover wasn’t going to win Brittany the Motor City Championship. You can wrap a pit bull in a Gucci suit. That doesn’t mean the pit pull will possess the supreme character of MCW’s new Owner, Eric Salies. And if B-Lo’s recent history with Glory Braddock guarantees us anything, B-Lo’s razor like fangs will devour the sultry Britt in there Motor City Championship match.]

This isn’t personal Glory.

Believe it or not… I like you. You remind me of prize fighter whose too stubborn to give up. Everybody from Ray Charles to Stevie Wonder can see the pathetic piece of shit should stay down. It doesn’t matter how many times you cave his skull in. It doesn’t matter how many times you pummel him into the ground he lacks the common sense to back down. He pleads with the referee not to ring the bell. He begs his corner man not to throw in the towel. So the referee, the corner man; the fans egg the prize fighter on. They will their golden boy to fight one more round.

That’s why I like you Glory. You don’t know when to quit. As long as you keep getting up. As long as the fans continue willing you on. As long as you’re stupid enough to jeopardize your health, the more I’m gonna enjoy burying your hapless body into the ground.

After everything I’ve done to you. From bashing a lead pipe against your skull. To driving your skull through a car window. From humiliating you last Mayhem I’m surprised you have the stones to risk your mental, emotional and physical well being against me in a match where the Motor City title is at stake.

But don’t worry sunshine. I’m not silencing your career. I should. I really should. I should take a leather strap, wrap it around your skinny little neck tighter then a virgins vagina, chuck you over the top rope and watch everybody’s ashen white faces as they morn the slow painful demise of Glory Braddock. That would make me happy. Really happy…

Your career isn’t worth it next week. My eyes are on the prize. This isn’t about putting you in the hospital. This is about the MCW Motor City title. That title is the stepping stone to the World Heavyweight Championship. Angel isn’t pouring fountains of knowledge into my demented mind to become the second best wrestler in the company. No. She’s breeding me to be the best this company has to offer.

I am the best this company has to offer. I’m better then Isaac Reynolds. I’m better then Southern Blood. I’m better then Nic Cagero. But most importantly.. I’m better then you Glory. I will beat you so decisively, I’ll leave no doubt in your mind who the better woman is.

I am your better. I’m the most dominant women in MCW. I’m the standard. Angelica passed the torch to me. Got that. Me!

I’m the greatest entity to bless the Motor City title since Angel elevated it to an untouchable standard. The title will regain it’s previous glory… with me.

Get on your knees Glory. Get on your news and pray. A brand new era in MCW has begun. And I’m not talking about Jacob handing MCW over to Eric Salies. I’m referring to era of Brittany Lohan.

Be grateful you’re living in my moment, bitch!

If you and Randal ever breed special needs children, tell them what an honor it was to be the first in a long line of pathetic, worthless, idiotic inferior worms to worship the ground I walk on.
