According to multiple employees within TNA Wrestling, as well as former office employees, Dixie Carter may have been forced to step down from her role as TNA President, following the growing number of lawsuits filed against the company. S. Bruce of Cageside Seats reported that there were suits pending against TNA, including former TNA Knockout Daffney suing for lack of medical coverage; as well as numerous employees reporting the company’s shady practices to the Better Business Bureau. Carter's mother may be overseeing the company at the moment while her daughter lays low from all of the controversy. This is probably why she hasn’t been active in social networking as of late. The "straw that broke the camel's back" for Carter's reign as president may have been a sexual harassment lawsuit recently filed against TNA, which has been confirmed by multiple sources. As for Carter's permanent replacement, many names have been thrown around, but one employee very close to the situation has speculated that former WCW figurehead Eric Bischoff taking over as TNA President is a very realistic possibility. Bischoff previously served as WCW President in the mid to late-1990s, in what was a rather successful run before over-sized contracts, politics, stagnant storylines, and the rising success of the WWF (now WWE) caught up to him. Bischoff is currently an on-air talent for TNA, but is said to have a powerful presence behind-the-scenes. Keep in mind, Carter could always return to her position as TNA President when, as one source says, "everything clears up." Unfortunately for her and TNA, that does not look to be happening anytime soon. Personally I think it's bullshit because I never heard of any of these lawsuits plus wrestlers are treated as independent contractors who pay their own medical insurance so Daffney needs to go jump into the deep end of the pool without a flotation device. Now I never heard of this sexual harassment lawsuit where is that stemming from? I'm interested to hear about that but honestly I don't believe it because if Dixie isn't putting money into this sinking ship how will it stay afloat unless Vince is going to buy it out and laugh. -_-' |

While I think this also is bullshit, there should be some clarifications known: The Better Business Bureau, to my knowledge, focuses on CONSUMER PROTECTION, not issues between employers and employees. Thus that I think is really dubious. And Daffney's lawsuit, to my knowledge, is based on the fact that she was let go while injured and with no severance package of any sort to offset her own costs. |

Olek is right about the BBB.. however.. people are stupid and will complain to them no matter what. The proper course of action to file a complaint against TNA would be to go to the athletics commission, or the state senator. I believe Daffneys lawsuit is real, but the rest of it is really shady. This should be all over the dirt sheets if it was true. |

After readling Olek's post I meant to add that's def fucked up over Daffney, the girl got injured so freaking much while working for TNA as well. Hopefully she gets whatever she's after, I've always liked her. |

If that story was legit it would be the most talked about thing in wrestling right now, as it is I can't actually find a single website who even has PART of the story (other than the Daffney bit) let alone the full thing. Somebody just made that up and took you for a ride I'm sorry to say. God knows the last person who needs to be running TNA is Bischoff anyway. |

A friend of mines gave me the link to the above story. And the links that I supplied as "sources" were linked in the story. http://forums.wrestlezone.com/showthread.p...477#post3049477 I have went to NoDQ.com (where I get my wrestling news usually) and I went to the old tried and true prowrestling.com. Even inhabited there community forum where it would be a topic of discussion. Nothing. So I'm on the side of you guys. Until something is concrete and etched in stone I will refuse to believe the story as well. Which saddens me because everyone here knows my feelings about Dixie Carter. |

BBB, yeah conmuser complaints. For the most parts. Daphene's lawsuit sounds like it's a civil court matter now, if anything with the government investigating, it might be Deptment of Labor. But I thinks it seems of the old BS . Just my opinion is all. Take lightly then crush with a mallet til a nice pulpy paste is prodeced |
