And there was tons of other awesomeness like Hominick with a hematoma the size of texas coming back in the 5th and almost winning (somewhat).

I was there live and it was AWESOME

I'm not the biggest MMA fan but I watch UFC occasionally when somebody reminds me about it (it's shown on ESPN over here for free, except that technically ESPN is subscription based so it's not REALLY free, but it's also not a separate PPV... but I digress) and I watched UFC 129 live and that kick was one of the most awesome things I've seen, lmao.

The fucking hematoma on that dude's dead was INSANE, how the hell they let that fight continue I don't know, it was so big at one point it reminded me of South Park and the nurse who has her still-born siamese twin stuck to her head.

That fight was epic as well, but still my favourite moment was that clip. That kick though was full of win.

Yeah, they let the fight go on because Canada has awesome fight doctors. He did everything perfectly. Checked for anything sharp around the bruise, checked peripheral vision, and made sure the fighter was still in the right mindset. John McCarthy also backed up Hominick that he was ok to continue.

One of the best UFC cards in awhile for sure though. GSP vs Shields was a technical fight, pretty boring compared to the other fights though.

Yeah, it was good but not good in a "oh snap, that dude got pwned" kinda way, which was disappointing. I do so like when they get straight pwned, it makes me smile. :D

Pwning is copyrighted to Fedor. And UFC is still too pussy to sign him. They'll just keep buying out whatever company he goes too until he's got nowhere left to fight, the cowards. Heaven forbid UFC bring him in and let him beat the living hell out of Brock, Cain, Gonzaga and the others. Be nice to see a dominating champion for once. Kind of like when Matt Hughes was still on his game, or Couture before he retired.

Oh, and Machida is now Daniel-San. Someone hire him an old Okinawan manager!

That is the most uninformed and ignorant opinion I have ever heard on the UFC and Fedor deal.

Dana White has tried on numerous occasions to sign Fedor but Fedors managers won't do it. They make ridiculous demands like "one fight contract for the title" and they want to co-promote with their other companies.

Dana White does not co promote.. ever. That is one thing he stands by. He's offered Fedor a 3 fight contract worth millions. The problem is that Fedor isn't the one making the decisions.

At least get your facts straight before outright blasting Dana for something he has little control over.

The Featherweight Championship fight had me on the edge of my seat. Hominick deserved the win in my opinion. Jose was winded after the first round.

GSP and Shields could have been a lot better, but wasnt. They both looked nervous as hell once in the cage. I predict a rematch because the fight never really took off and I believe GSP won due to takedowns and nothing else. They were even standing up, as they both got really good shots in.
