OK... as many of you may know (if you've bothered reading this thread at all) I've been working with the major video game company EA over the past couple of months to help with a feature on their EA Sports MMA game. This feature is known as the Live Broadcasts, and it's essentially an online fight card with the only difference being that only a select few can get in and it's broadcast to everyone in the world to watch through their site and over the consoles. (Check out easportsmma.com if you want to see some of them. My Gamertag for XBox is RuppDat, and I've been in a couple of Live Broadcasts if you want to check that out as well.)

Anyways, most of the EA guys have since moved on from this game to work on other projects since it's been out since last October, and I was one of the members from the EA MMA community chosen to step up and basically take over running the Live Broadcasts. (The EA guys still physically set everything up, but everything else is my decision.) I may only be in charge of the XBox 360 side of things, but it's still a big honor for me especially considering I do get to stay in regular contact with actual developers from EA regarding this stuff.

What does this have to do with the Graphics Showcase section of the forums, you ask? Simple... one of the monthly requirements I need to do when I put together each Live Broadcast is to make a set of banners (one small, one medium, one large) that serve as a poster/advertisement for each broadcast, like any real life MMA promotion would likely have. These banners are not only linked on EA MMA's official site, but also appear within the game itself. I can't tell you how happy I am to see something I made appearing within a video game of all places.

All that said, I figured I'd share with you what I've made for EA MMA's Live Broadcasts and see what you guys think of them. There are a few things I'd like to point out first to avoid any confusion, however:

1) The size requirements of each banner were given to me by the EA guys since that's the size they'd used when they designed all the banners before passing the Live Broadcast responsibilities onto myself and the others who do this. The banners are each that size because that's what they gave me and I had to work within what they gave to me.

2) The small inner shadow and the 4 px yellow border around the edges is not my doing. EA adds that to every banner on their site so it stands out against the background in both the game and the site as far as where it appears. Keep that in mind if you give me feedback, because I can't change what I don't even add and have no control over.

Well shit,

Not sure what kind of feedback I can really give regarding these graphics because 1) The certainly look decent. But more importantly, if EA are actually using them on their site to promote these live broadcast things then that's all the feedback you should really need.

If they dont' like em, they won't use em as far as I know. So you're obviously doing good work.
