I just double checked the report on TMZ and it seems to be true. Guy was driving, had his heart attack and drove across on coming traffic and hit a tree. |

It certainly sucks. Fox News just ran the story as well. I'll have to link it later or something. Saw it pop up while checking my email. Let's all remember the good times. And hope that Vince will finally put him into the Hall of Fame. |

I did. Twice. Savage was easily one of my all-time favorites. And that was his recent stuff with Roberts or the NWO. I hadn't even seen his earlier sets with Steamboat and such. Never heard a foul word about the man outside the ring. Always seemed eager to do what he could for the business and the fans. Goddamit. This makes it official. My list of heroes is stricken. Curt Hennig is dead. Chris Benoit is dead. Eddie Guerrero is dead. Tom Billing is dead. Stan Hansen is dead. Randy Savage is dead. Rick Rude is dead. Ted DiBiase has diabtes. Roddy Puper has cancer. Jake Roberts is retired. Shawn Michaels is retired. Ricky Steamboat is retired. The Undertaker is finally retiring. That's my entire childhood right there. And with Randy's passing, every last one of them is gone. R.I.P. Randy. You were one of the goddamn best. OHHHHHH YEAAAAH! |

I will repeat for the fifteen time...Diabetes is not a death sentence. My parents have had it for the last 2 decades. Take care of your eating habits and take your insulin, you'll be just fine. Other than that, yes it's sad to have that many people die or retire. |

Just to clarify, Stan Hansen, as far as I can tell, is still alive and well. Tom Billing (who I assume is Tom Billington, the Dynamite Kid), is also still alive. So your list of heroes is not quite exhausted. However, that said, it's a shame to see another great falter. That said, at least he was able to retired and enjoy his life and at least enjoy the majority of his life, even if it was far too soon. I never was the biggest Randy Savage fan, but I never hated watching him wrestle and I have to say I was always entertained. My condolences go out to his family, friends and every fan of his. |

-=Cling to Olek's leg in grateful grovelling.=- You're right, you're right. I just double-checked. I still got Hansen and Billington, and even Race, so I'm okay. lol. |
