{{Monday, September 7th}} Its early afternoon, and Amy has just got home. Her flight back from Pittsburgh was uneventful, but a bit lonely. Once again, Amy had gone home to New Orleans by herself, and Andy had gone back to his place. This time he had a good reason other than 'let's stop getting on each others nerves.' He was going to the Patriots game Thursday with some friends, and didn't see the need for an extra flight in between. He planned on meeting her in New Orleans either Friday or Saturday, depending on flight times. The time alone on the plane gave Amy time to think, though. She had to admit Andy wasn't in as bad of a mood as he was before Apocalypse, but he still wasn't himself. He wasn't too happy that he wasn't used at the show, but stayed backstage for the duration, to support Amy. After her match with Stacy, it was a weird dynamic - they were both happy that she was going to be a part of the main event World Championship match, but not pleased with the way it came about. Amy had been attacked by a member of Blood Grove, the more than slightly off-kilter Kordy. Amy wasn't sure if she meant to hurt her, or just to screw Stacy out of the title match, but she didn't care. She was tired of people getting involved in her matches. Sure, she wanted the opportunity and she intended to make the most of it, but she would have much preferred earning it by beating Stacy clean. Between the two matches, Amy had talked to Stacy in her locker room, and expressed her displeasure with how the whole thing went down. Stacy seemed glad to hear that the way she won didn't sit right with her, and they both vowed to exact justice on Blood Grove somehow. Little did they know then that another member of Blood Grove, Dawn Lohan, would go on to win the World Championship, despite Amy's best efforts in the match. There were just too many people in the ring, not to mention the ones who inserted themselves that weren't officially part of the match. Like Jason Starr, the person who took Amy out with a chair, preventing her from getting back in the ring before Dawn got the belt. Once again, someone had interfered with a match she was in, and Amy just had to shake her head at the whole thing. It seemed that there were too many people in this business today that couldn't stand to see others rise, and didn't want to put in the work it took to earn the position they wanted. And it wasn't just an SCW thing, either. Amy saw this happening in wrestling companies all over the world. One thing she could give to Dawn is that she didn't do anything shady to win the World Championship. She simply got to the belt before anyone else. Even though Amy thought Dawn was on a mistaken path, and even if she didn't really like her much, she had to respect what she did at Apocalypse, winning two titles in one night. As soon as Amy walked through her front door, though, she put all this out of her mind, and switched her focus to shenanigans going on at home. She hadn't had a chance to talk to her kids about what had been bothering them when she picked them up from Wyatt's a few days ago, before she had to leave for Pittsburgh. But she didn't have another show for over a week, so there would be plenty of time now. She knew they were home; there was no school due to it being Labor Day. Amy's mom had come over with Loki this morning to wait for her, and Jaina had walked back from next door not long ago, according to the text she sent. Amy can hear them talking in the kitchen. She hauls her bag upstairs as quietly as she can, since they hadn't heard her come in. Throwing the bag on the bed to be unpacked later, she changes out of her traveling clothes and into some much more comfortable yoga pants and t-shirt. This done, she heads back downstairs, where the kids have now convened in the living room. "Momma, I thought I heard you come in! Why are you being sneaky?" Jaina has a grin on her face; she isn't actually upset. "Not sneaky. Just you guys were talking, and I wanted to bring my bag up." Amy greets her kids with a hug each, and as she sits down, Jaina on one side, and Loki on the other, leaning on her, her mom comes in from the kitchen. "Hey darlin'. Good trip?" Amy smiles up at her mom, who is holding a pot in one hand, drying with a towel with the other. "Can't complain. Quiet, really." Liz looks around pointedly. "Mhmm. I see that. But I ain't asking any questions." Pfft. Amy knew her mom better than that. The fact she said she wasn't going to ask, was her backwards way of actually asking. She wanted to know why Amy came home by herself. Shaking her head, Amy grins at her mom. "I'll call you later tonight, okay?" Liz raises an eyebrow, but just nods, and heads back to the kitchen to put the pot away. Jaina looks at Amy amused. "Why doesn't Granny just say what she wants to say? It's obvious she wants to ask you a billion questions" Amy laughs. "Oh, its obvious on purpose. It's just how she is. But-" Just then the object of conversation comes back into the room. "Well, if you're all settled, I'm gonna get on home. Got to clean up a little boys mess in his bedroom." Liz says with a fake glare at her grandson. Loki giggles. "Granny! It's just the blanket on the floor, you said to leave it!" Liz laughs, and heads towards the door. "Yeah, I did. Still gotta pick it up though. I'll see you kids later. Amy, I'll be waiting for your call." Amy rolls her eyes a little, with a smile. "Yes, Mom. Thanks. Love you." "Love y'all too. Later." And Liz leaves with a wave as she shuts the door. Amy looks down at her son, who has been stuck to her side this whole time, just as clingy as he was a few days ago. Deciding that it's past time she got to the bottom of what was bothering the boy who is hardly ever bothered by anything, she wraps an arm around him, and ruffles his hair a bit. "So Lo... you want to tell me what's going on in that head of yours?" He doesn't look up, just leans in more. "What do you mean?" Oh, you know... only the way you couldn't get out of Wyatt's fast enough the other day, and are stuck to me like Velcro right now." Loki laughs a little, but it doesn't sound like a real laugh. He sits up a bit and looks up at his mom. "I just missed you, you were gone forever. Right, Jay?" Amy looks over at Jaina, who nods a little. "Yeah, it was longer than usual." Amy isn't buying it though. She knows her kids too well, even if she isn't around them every day due to her job. This last stretch did keep her away for longer than any other time since she went back to work, but that wasn't the end of it. "Come on, Lo. You know I know better than that. Talk to me, what's going on?" Loki gives a little sigh, and sits up straight. He glances across Amy at Jaina, as if he wanted to ask her something. Jaina just nods. Hm. Jaina knew what was going on. Amy looks back at her son, and he meets her gaze, but looks away before speaking up. "Well... I was thinking. Or, I guess wondering... if- If my dad was ever going to come back." Whoa. That was not what Amy expected to hear at all. Loki's dad, Dustin Diablo, hadn't been seen or heard from since May, when he lost a match in VWA at Pandora's Box (ironically, the same show where Amy was forced to defend her title against Andy.) She'd spoken to him briefly backstage before either of their matches. It was the first time she saw him since beating him over the head with a lead pipe about a dozen times two months prior, and he'd threatened her, vowing to pay her back one way or another for what she did. Amy wasn't scared though; she had never been scared of him, and she said so. He'd also made it clear he wasn't going to let her keep him from seeing Loki, and walked away before she could reply to that. However, he'd gotten hurt in that match, and hadn't returned to the ring, nor had she heard from him since. Loki hadn't wanted anything to do with him since he'd seen the match where Dustin hit Amy over the head with a pipe in November, so this was quite a shock. Amy looks over at Jaina, who crosses her arms and sits back. She wanted nothing to do with this; it was clearly beyond her sisterly help. Amy can't think of anything else to say but the truth. "I... really don't know. Do you want him to?" Amy was almost afraid of the answer. She didn't want anything to do with her ex-husband, but if Loki wanted to see him, she'd deal with it. Loki finally looks at her, face scrunched up thoughtfully. "I didn't think so. Cause he's not a nice person. But... I kinda feel bad cause me and Jaina stay at her dad's all the time, and he's cool and I like him okay, but he's not my dad, and is it really fair to him to act like he is, when I have one?" Holy... hell. Seven year olds weren't supposed to think this deep. Then again, Jaina did when she was seven. Amy really shouldn't be surprised that Loki was much the same. He was just such a quiet kid most of the time. She had no idea he worried about these things, and it made her sad that she never picked up on it until recently. "Honey, you know that doesn't matter to him. He's always treated you exactly the same as your sister." Loki acts as if he didn't hear that, though. He just goes on with his train of thought, as if now that he started, he has to say everything. "And now we have Andy around all the time, and I like him a lot better – sorry, Jay... but he isn't anyone's dad, and it's not fair to want him to act like he is, either.” Amy exhales slowly, not having any idea what to say. She never had this issue as a child, because she grew up without her father, and her mom never dated anyone – or if she did, she hid it because Amy never met anyone. “Loki... I-'” Amy is interrupted by Jaina, as she lays her hand on Amy's arm to get her attention. “Momma? Can I?” Amy just nods at her daughter, wondering what Jaina could possibly have to add, when Amy herself had no idea what to tell her son. Jaina gets up, and sits again on the other side of Loki, putting the boy in the middle. “Lo, its like this. Okay... what makes a dad isn't the guy who actually made you. Its the guy who acts like he cares about you, and is there for you when you need something. Dustin is your father. He's not your dad.” Loki looks back at Amy, as if expecting her to contradict Jaina in some way. Amy doesn't say anything, she just nods once, encouraging him to listen to Jaina. He turns back to his sister, and tilts his head a bit. “You're lucky, yours is both.” Jaina sighs, and shrugs a little, as if its not a big deal. “Yeah, now he is. But... before you were born, he wasn't very good at it. See, my dad is a good guy who went bad for a while, and got better. Your father is a bad guy who tried to be good for a while, and... I dunno, I guess he's too messed up in the head for it to stick. I wish you could have known him as a good guy like I did. But... maybe it's better this way. It won't be as hard for you to push him away.” Amy fights back tears as her heart breaks for her daughter all over again. When Dustin left them, Jaina took it very hard. Maybe harder than Amy did. Jaina had just turned eight, and didn't understand the adult reasons for his disappearance. All she knew was that the man she had called 'Daddy' for the last two years wasn't coming home. She had even blamed Amy for a while. Loki was nearly two at the time, and of course noticed he was gone, but didn't really understand. Loki seems to be taking in everything Jaina was saying, his head lowered as he thinks about it. “Maybe... but if I do that, I won't have anyone to call my dad.” Jaina gives him a sad look, and looks up at Amy, at a loss for this one. Amy knows what to say for this. Loki looks at her as soon as she starts talking. “That doesn't matter, Loki. 'Dad' is just a word, a name. You don't have to call someone by that name for you to love each other. And you're lucky – both of you. You have two men in your life that care about you and would do anything they could for you. I didn't even have one.” Loki grins the smallest of grins, and leans into Amy. “So, it's okay if I don't want my da- uh, my father, to come back again?” Amy wraps her arm around her son's shoulders in a hug. “It's absolutely okay. How you feel about someone or something isn't ever wrong.” “Good. Cause I don't want him to. He only makes everyone angry, and hurts you. And I don't like that.” Amy hugs him closer, and thinks to herself that she doesn't like it either. She breathes a small sigh of relief. If Loki had insisted on seeing his father, Amy would have done what she could to do that for him, but she's beyond relieved that she won't have to. “I just thought I was, like... stuck with him.” Amy laughs a little. “Well, you can't change who your father is. But you can absolutely decide if you want anything to do with him. You're never 'stuck' with anyone. If you two ever learn anything from me, please learn that.” Jaina gives her mom a smile, knowing that she's referring to Blane, and how she got herself out of that situation. Loki doesn't know about that, but he'll be told when he's older. “Momma's right, everyone has the right to decide who they want or don't want to be around. And you shouldn't feel bad about it. At all.” Loki turns to Jaina, and shakes his head. “I don't feel bad. Not anymore. You helped me understand. Thanks.” Jaina hugs her brother, and kisses the top of his head. He doesn't wipe it off like usual, though. “Anytime, Lo. Now..... can you do me a favor? I want to talk to Momma just me. Can you go upstairs?” Loki pretends to think about it, then nods, grinning. “Okay. But then you have to help me pack away some things in my room.” “Deal.” Amy assumes he means the few pictures and DVDs he has of his father. Loki gets up and runs up the stairs. Jaina turns in her seat, to face Amy, putting one leg up on the couch, and her hands folded in her lap. Amy turns a bit sideways too, leaning one arm on the back of the couch, and gives her daughter a small grin. “So am I going to find out what's been bothering you, now?” Jaina looks up, surprised. “You knew something was bothering me?” Amy's grin gets bigger. “Of course I did. I'm your mother. I know lots of things you think I don't know.” This comment causes Jaina to lose a little color, and she looks down at her hands. “Like what...?” “Well, I know that you don't like Gina. At all.” Jaina's head snaps up, shocked, then a look of disgust. She fixes her face quickly, but Amy catches it. “Why do you say that?” Amy raises an eyebrow, as if Jaina really thought Amy didn't see her expression. “First of all, that look on your face just now when I said her name. Plus... you sort of exaggerated something you overhead her say about your brother. You tried to make me and Aunt Bree believe she was much younger than she is. And finally, you couldn't leave your dad's fast enough the other day, after snapping at her just for saying she didn't like some women she sees on SCW TV.” Jaina sighs. Busted. “Okay, fine. I don't like her.” Amy nods, a little proud that she admitted it. “The thing I don't know... is why.” Jaina sighs dramatically, as only a thirteen year old girl can do, and rolls her eyes. “She's just...simpering, and stuck up Dad's butt, and fake. And she hates... she hates people I like. And... ugh. I don't want to talk about her!” Whoa. Okay... what was that little hesitation about? But, this wasn't the time to press this issue, because Jaina had something else bothering her, and Amy wanted to help her with whatever that was, not give her something else to be bothered about. “Okay. We won't. What was it you wanted to talk to me about?” Jaina relaxes a bit, and brushes her hair out of her face, much like Amy does when she's nervous. “Well... I was wondering. How do you know if you love someone?” Damn. Amy's kids really weren't making this easy for her today, were they? How was she supposed to answer that? She was pushing forty and wasn't sure she even knew the answer. “Wow. Well... I really can't answer that, sweetie. I think it's different for everyone, and for every relationship. Is this about that boy you've been talking to?” Jaina looks down at her hands again, and for a second Amy isn't sure if she's going to answer. “It's about K, yeah.” She keeps her head down for a second, but looks back up slowly when Amy speaks. “Okay. How about you explain to me what's going on, and maybe I can give you a better answer?” Amy wonders if Jaina is going to finally fess up what she'd been hiding about the boy all this time. Jaina takes a deep breath, and since she's the one who brought this up in the first place, gets over her nervousness as she talks. “Okay. Well... I told you K is a year older, right? So that means this year, K's going to a different school. High school. I mean, we still talk and see each other after school, cause you know the high school isn't far from my school. But.. what if K is making other friends there? Or finds another girlfriend? I keep worrying about that, and I wanted to know if that means love, or just being jealous.” Amy really just thinks it means Jaina was young, and so was this boy, and none of this was going to matter in five years, or even next year. But there was no way she was going to say that to her daughter, because this was clearly bothering her. “Well, let me ask you this. When you do talk to him, is everything the same? Does he act any different when you hang out after school?” Jaina sorta half shrugs, and shakes her head. “No, not really. K is still K. But... it's just not as much as when we went to the same school. It's... different. I mean, how do you deal with that? When you and Andy have to be apart? You love him, right?” Amy grins, a little torn between the way she wants to answer, and the way she should answer. She goes for a mix. “Yeah, I do. And that's how it's not a big deal to spend time apart. Because we know it doesn't matter. And honestly, sometimes you need to have time to yourself, because if you're always around a person, eventually they're going to start to get on your nerves. No matter how much you love them.” Jaina giggles a little at that, nodding. “Kinda like when Loki annoys me just looking at me.” Amy returns the nod, smiling. “Something like that. Only... the annoyance could easily be something bigger. So I don't want you to think that just because you don't get to see K as much as you used to, that means anything bad is going to happen. It can be a good thing. Because it'll make the times you do get to talk to him that much better.” Jaina considers that for a few moments, and seems to accept it. But then she shakes her head a bit, and looks confused all over again. “But... okay. Before any of that matters, I still need to know how I know if its actually love?” Damn. Amy thought she had gotten way with diverting the conversation from that. Jaina was too smart for that, though. She sighs, and wings it. “I don't know, baby. That's something you have to figure out for yourself. And I'm gonna be perfectly honest with you, there are adults who have a hard time with that. Me included. The best I can figure is, if you're asking yourself if you love someone, then it must at least be an option, right? Because if you didn't, the thought would never occur to you to ask yourself if you did. Make sense?” Jaina squints a little in thought, then grins. “Yeah, I guess so. Is that how you knew?” Ha. If only it had been that easy, Amy thinks. The path she and Andy had taken to get where they are now had been a bumpy one, and even a few chasms. But there was a lesson there she wanted to impart to her daughter. “No... that was a lot more complicated. See, I was too afraid of letting that happen that I didn't even ask myself the question for a long time. And then once I did... I was afraid to admit it. And it wasn't the first time I did something like that.” Amy stops here, before she spoke too much. Jaina had no idea how Amy had felt about her uncle Heath, and Amy didn't think now was the time. Or that there would ever be a time. But Jaina picks up on Amy's other meaning. “That's why you didn't talk for like three years or something, right? Cause you got scared?” Amy never ceases to be amazed at her daughters perception. How could she be so right about things like this, and what she told Loki earlier, yet still be asking questions about how to tell if you love someone? “Well, that was a little more complicated, too. But that's pretty much what it boiled down to. But listen, okay? The point is this... don't make the same mistakes I did. You're still young. You're not even fourteen yet. And it's very unlikely that this boy is gonna be the love of your life. But that doesn't mean you should be afraid of your feelings, or of admitting to them, if that's what you really feel. Every relationship in life is a learning experience. But you can't learn anything if you don't actually experience it.” Damn. Amy wished someone had told her something like that, oh, maybe ten years ago. Hell, even four years ago. Jaina visibly relaxes, and leans over to hug her mom. Amy wraps her arms around her daughter, and gives her a tight squeeze. They part, and Jaina gives her a confident smile. “Thanks, Momma. I feel a lot better now. Especially about not being afraid to admit things. I know what I need to do. Just... not sure when.” Amy starts to smile, but then has a terrible thought. 'Experience.' Oh shit. “Now, Jaina... when I said 'experience', I didn't mean.... you know, physically.” Jaina scrunches her face in confusion for a second, then realizes, and laughs. “Momma! No! I know that. I'm not that dumb. Like you said... I'm not even fourteen. That's... just no.” Oh thank all the gods. Amy tries to hide her extreme relief. “Okay. Just wanted to clarify that.” Jaina hops up from the couch, shaking her head. “Trust me, Momma. That's the last thing you have to worry about. I'm gonna go help Loki with his stuff now, okay?” Amy gives her a grin, and nods, and Jaina runs up the stairs. Amy leans back against the back of the couch, mentally and emotionally exhausted. Jaina had said that she felt better about admitting to things. That must have been a reference to whatever it was she had been keeping secret about this boy K. Amy hoped that Jaina would come clean with her about it soon. She was sure that whatever it was would turn out to be nothing worth stressing over. But, teenagers did tend to think every little thing was a major crisis. Ha, she thinks to herself. Pot calling the kettle black. As if she had never jumped to silly conclusions before. In fact, she was probably doing something like that right now, with the way she was so concerned about the way Andy had been acting since before Apocalypse. She had hoped that just the few days apart would help, and everything would be back to normal. Except here she is, home by herself again, and she wasn't so sure that not wanting to make an extra flight for the football game was the only reason he'd gone home from Pittsburgh rather than back with her. He'd texted her this morning when he got home, but she hadn't spoken to him since they parted ways at the airport around seven AM. She finds it ironic – and maybe telling, like a sign – that Jaina had asked her about this stuff, when Amy wasn't so sure what was going on in her own relationship right now. But, she pushes all that away. The last time she assumed something was wrong, was in May when they were forced to fight each other in VWA, and Amy got the crazy idea in her head that he actually wanted to fight her and take her title. That led to them not speaking for three weeks and a pretty awkward conversation once they did. However, the whole situation had also led to him telling her he loved her, and a few days later, she saying the same. Well, she wasn't going to let this become an awkward situation like that. She was going to get straight to the good, reassuring part. She pulls her phone out and decides to give him a call. He answers almost immediately. “Hey, did you just make it in?” “No, been back for a while. I was just talking with the kids.” “Oh. You could have just texted though, no need to take time away from them.” “Oh, its okay. They're upstairs now. I just had an... interesting conversation with Jaina. She was asking me how to tell when you love someone.” “I'm sure that was all kinds of fun for you.” Note the sarcasm. Amy laughs a little. “Loads. But, after we were finished, I just had the feeling that I should call you, and tell you that I love you.” “Oh, you did, huh?” He sounds a bit amused. “It seemed important.” “It's always important when you say that. I love you, too.” Amy smiles to herself, not realizing how much her talk with Jaina made her want to hear that. “I'm kinda curious what was said in that talk, now.” “I'll tell you all about it if you have time.” Turns out he did have time, and she explained the whole thing. After getting off the phone, Amy realized that it was the first conversation they'd had in weeks where not one word was said about work. It was also the most like himself he'd sounded in weeks, too. Maybe this break wasn't such a bad idea, after all. They both had plenty of time to worry about their upcoming matches. The rest of this week would be for decompressing and relaxing. * * * * * {{Present Day}} ** ON CAMERA ** We find Amy Chastaine in a setting familiar to her long-time fans; seated on the couch in her office, under the bay window. It's daytime, and Amy has the curtains open, letting the sun light the room rather than anything electric. This causes her wavy red hair to almost shimmer in the sunlight, even though it's not hanging loose today. She has it pulled up tight into a high ponytail. In fact, she seems just about ready to hit the gym, dressed in short black tights and a navy blue halter top, with bright blue athletic sneakers on her feet. She's sitting on the edge of the couch, not leaning back in a relaxed position. Instead, she seems wired, wound up, ready to go. She rests her arms on her knees, leaning forward, hands clasped together with her fingers intertwined. Do you know what gets under my skin more than almost anything in this business? Disrespect. And I don't mean just the kind of disrespect one person may give to another by not speaking to them backstage, or the disrespect that gets thrown around haphazardly in these promo videos, where some people try their hardest to verbally tear down their opponent with whatever petty insult they can think of at the time. No, I mean a much deeper kind of disrespect than that. The kind that not only disrespects the person or people in the ring with you, but also sends that same message to everyone watching backstage, to everyone who has ever stepped between the ropes in competition, to everyone who has given their life for this business. And not only that, but also to every fan who has ever spent one dollar going to a show, buying a t-shirt, or a pay per view, or even paying their cable bill to be able to watch us do what we do for them. And at Apocalypse, that is exactly the kind of disrespect Kordy showed to everyone when she interfered in my and Stacy Kissinger's match, shoving me down onto the announce table, getting Stacy DQed. Anyone who didn't know me very well might think I would be at least a little bit pleased with the result, given it gave me a win in the books, and I was able to go on to the main event Ladder match for a chance to become the SCW World Champion. But, those who know me well, know without my saying so that I was not pleased at all. In fact, I was livid. For quite a few reasons. First of all, I have said from day one here in SCW that I'm not looking for any handouts. I'm not looking for the easy way, and I'm not expecting to be gifted any opportunity I didn't earn. I fully intended to beat Stacy on my own, cleanly, and earn my way the right way into that main event match. The fact that Kordy stuck her nose into a match that had nothing to do with her and robbed me of the chance to earn my win, rather than be given it on a technicality really irritates me. Amy tilts her head a bit, calming herself down. She really didn't want to get herself too worked up, but she hated the fact that she won by a factor that wasn't her own doing. Secondly. I get that Blood Grove didn't want Stacy to get a chance at the World Championship, because they think she's a piece of shit and not worthy to get a shot at any title, much less the most prestigious one in the company. That's all fine and good. But instead of screwing her out of it by getting her disqualified, maybe your plan could have been to just let the match play out. Because lets face it, nothing against Stacy, because she is a good competitor, but I was about to beat her anyway. All Kordy did by getting involved was risk getting herself hurt when she attacked me. That just isn't smart thinking, ladies and gents. If you had just waited to see the outcome of our match, there is a damn good chance that Kordy wouldn't have had to do anything at all. Third - and I'll stop after this one, but believe me there are many, many layers to my anger at this. Third, it wasn't enough for Kordy to just shove me off the ropes and get the DQ. No, she had to add insult to injury and stomp away at me like she had some personal vendetta against me. Where's the heat, Kordy? What did I ever do to you? Is it because I came this close to beating 'mommy' for her precious Adrenaline Championship almost four months ago? Or maybe it's because I did beat your 'sister' Dawn clean in the middle of the ring just a month after that? What's the matter, Kordy, are you tired of me making your twisted little family look bad? If that's the case, you have clearly bitten off more than you can chew, because all you earned for yourself is the opportunity for me to make you look bad, as well. With an amused smirk, Amy leans back, and crosses one leg over the other, and crosses her arms over her chest thoughtfully. You know, now that I think about it some more, there's a whole other layer to this disrespect thing. And I don't even think you realize it. By attacking me and screwing Stacy, you actually disrespected yourself. Its like Blood Grove doesn't think their enemies will fall on their own. All of you are so afraid of someone like either me or Stacy coming along and upsetting your little status quo that you'll pull any tactic you can think of to get us out of the way. That's why Kordy went on to stomp the hell out of me, because Blood Grove didn't want Stacy or me to have a whisper of a chance at becoming the World Champion. Well, I'm sorry to have ruined your plans by not immediately failing in the main event. In fact, if it hadn't been for a few well placed chair shots – from a man who wasn't even in the match, I might add! - that took me out of the match completely near the end, I'm willing to bet that Dawn would have have a much harder time getting up that ladder and claiming that belt. I mean, I bested her once, why wouldn't I be able to do it again, right? But... that's a subject for another time. Amy didn't want to get sidetracked with Dawn here. She wasn't facing Dawn at Breakdown, or any time in the foreseeable future, as far as she knew. No, she needed to keep her focus on the task ahead. Instead, let me talk for a bit about the people I'll be teaming with on Breakdown. Stacy... I've already talked a lot about, but there's always more to add. I've been her opponent twice now, and now I'm gonna be her partner. And other than my boyfriend, I can't think of a better person to team with against the three Blood Grove representatives in this six-person tag. See, while Stacy and I might have slightly different ideas about what it means to be a true competitor, when it comes down to it, we stand for the same things. Hard work. Earning your accomplishments the right way. We do what we do because of the passion we have for this business, because of the respect we have for everyone who came before us, and for the people who support us. We want to do our best to make this business even better for the generations to come. And I don't think I'm overstepping any bounds here by speaking for Stacy and saying that we both feel that doing whatever we can to knock Blood Grove down a few pegs would be a great start in making this company, and the business as a whole, a better place. As for my and Stacy's other partner, Merrick Wiseman. I have to admit that I don't know much about the man, but what I do know, is the only thing that's important. Wiseman stands for what's right and honorable, and he's made it his crusade to exact Justice on those who show disrespect for that ideal. That's one thing that we have in common, and that's the one thing that matters. It wasn't enough that Blitzkrieg pinned him, no, he had to pour salt into the wound and slam Wiseman down with an unnecessary powerslam, for no reason other than to make himself look like a badass. So, for that reason, plus the fact that Wiseman has made serving Justice his mission here in SCW, I know that the three of us will be a formidable team on Breakdown. We have a collective mission, and that mission is to put a stop to the rampant disrespect that Blood Grove has not only for every member of this roster, but for the fans, and the business itself. A calming breath, and Amy leans forward once more, arms back on her knees. She's gotten worked up again, but this time she doesn't fight it. So now I come around to our opponents. Three representatives of Blood Grove, and the next three who will be made to look inferior. Sure, you think your group is standing tall right now, now that you claim four championships in your ranks, two of which are held by the same person. But you see, that is where you are wrong. Like I told Dawn back in June... this can't last. The story of your dominance over SCW only has one ending. It's lasted a bit longer than I thought it would, I'll give you that, but let me explain something to you that you may not have considered. The more accolades you claim while you're at your best, the stronger you are as a group, the higher you climb with all of your success... only means its that much further and harder of a fall when you ultimately implode. You can't really think this can last, can you? You have Red Rayne, who is the longest reigning Adrenaline Champion in SW history. You have Matt Auclair, who is a two time Underground Champion, and even though he's only defended it once since becoming champion this time around, it was an impressive defense, I'll give him that. And now you have Dawn, who is not only the Women's Champion, but also the World Champion. Let's not forget the lackey, Kordy, who would do anything her 'mother' or 'sister' asked of her, attacking anyone who gets in their way, because she is so desperate for approval that she'd risk her own wellbeing just to get a pat on the head and a gold star. And finally, we can't leave out the muscle of the group, Blitzkrieg, a former World Champion in his own right, but rather than trying to make a claim at that again, is acting like an enforcer, taking out anyone and everyone who seems to be a threat to the group's goals. But trust me when I say that no one likes playing follow the leader and taking orders for too long. That's a whole lot of opportunity for jealousy among the ranks. How long, guys? How long do you think it'll be before one of you decides that you'd make a better World Champion than Dawn? Or before one of you fails to hold on to your gold and angers the rest of you? Then the blame will start flying, and the cracks will turn into chasms, and.... before you know it, the only thing Blood Grove will be purging, is yourselves, from the inside out. I've seen it before. I've done it before. And it's only a matter of time before it happens to you. The only question is... who's going to be the first to crack? Honestly, it doesn't matter. Because once one does, the rest will fall like a house of cards. Amy knew that it wouldn't take much, either. One key defeat. One screw up. One title loss. And everything they had built would come tumbling down. Amy stands up, and crosses her arms, but not nervously as she tends to do sometimes, but judging by the look on her face, this stance is confident, and defiant. You think you've gotten one over on us already, and that this match is just a formality. After all, the three of you have already taken out the three of us in one way or another. And I will concede that you know each other better than we do. But what you don't have... is the morals or motivation to actually do something worthwhile. You're all only out for your own self-aggrandizement, whatever you can get for yourselves. You may be a group, but you're all selfish. Us? We stand for something. We have right on our side, and we have the determination and the fire behind us to do something about how we were wronged, and to make sure that those who crossed us pay for what they've done. If you think that just because you managed to put us down individually once means that you can beat us as a group, I'm afraid you're sadly mistaken. See, that's all you are, a group of individuals, with individual goals, and individual desires for greatness. The three of us? Sure, we want our own successes, too. But because we have respect for this business, and for having the honor and fortitude it takes to do things honorably, and earn everything we accomplish... we are willing to put that aside for as long as it takes to bring you down. I can't speak for my partners, but as for me? Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Especially when that woman is Amy Chastaine. You've been warned. Amy flashes a confident grin just before the feed clicks to black. ------------------- OOC: Edited for coding error. I'm OCD, sue me lol |

Apocalypse was a fitting name for the situation SCW now saw itself facing when the pay-per-view bearing that name came to a close. Many people thought little of the Blood Grove with Red Rayne scratched from the card due to injury, but what they saw was the group’s finest hour as Blitzkrieg dismantled Merrick Wiseman, Matt Auclair retained his Underground title along with finally putting Rachel Foxx out of her misery, and Dawn’s ascension as she not only became Women’s champion, but the World champion as well. Add to that the fact that Rayne being unable to compete left her with the Adrenaline title by default, and the Blood Grove was now holding every title in the company barring the U.S. and tag titles, but even those weren’t safe at this point. They stood tall at the very end, making sure the gold-hungry Monarchy realized just how much more difficult their title hunting had become, and with Breakdown looming there was no telling just what kind of chaos would be unleashed with the company falling onto very dark times. And yet, to Matt, this didn’t seem like it was enough... not without making sure his “daughter” was completely over her concussion so no further issues would arise when her time to return was at hand. As much as Matt had protested it, Daisy had asked him to leave her in the care of the woman known as Typhoid Mary, the self-professed Red Devil who currently guided the fearsome Blitzkrieg, and Matt had done so only on Daisy’s logic that Mary would take care of her and he needed to put his full focus on doing what he needed to do against Foxx, and it’s safe to say he more than accomplished that task. But now with that behind him, he desired to check up on her and was met only with a small note she’d left for him that Mary was helping her undergo some “trials” to make her stronger and ensure that the fact of Red Rayne being an unstoppable force was an absolute one. This led to Matt’s current focus of attempting to track them down, which one might believe wasn’t necessary considering they were all part of the Blood Grove... but if you wanted Matt’s honest opinion? Considering her titan Blitzkrieg was the reason he was eliminated from Taking Hold of the Flame despite that and how little he’d interacted with the woman, he trusted her as far as he could throw her and wanted to make sure with his own eyes that Daisy was doing better and these “trials” were doing exactly what they were supposed to do. He had no idea exactly where he was beyond the fact that this place he currently found himself trudging through was dark and the fear could easily be sensed in the air, but it didn’t faze him as there was only one thing on his mind. If you asked him why he thought this place – wherever it was – would be where he’d find Daisy, his only response would be something along the lines of “instincts”. He trusted them enough to progress despite having no actual idea on where he was going or even if he was headed in the right direction, but he’d worry about that later. ???: I’m impressed that you’re here, though there’s no reason you should be. Matt whipped around, fists at the ready, as he heard the voice, and standing there with a slightly amused expression at his reaction was Mary herself, the Red Devil clearly being intrigued by the fact that she had a one-on-one meeting with the Boston brawler in the most unlikely of places and the fact that even after recognizing who she was he still hadn’t put his fists down and left his fighting stance. Mary: To what do I owe the hostility Matthew? We’re on the same side, are we not? Matt: First off, you don’t have the right to call me by my full name. And second, you may be in Daisy’s good graces but I’m still wary after your “titan” saw fit to throw me out of the battle royal months ago. Mary: Can you blame a monster for enjoying its newfound freedom from the slavery that once made it miserable? I figured you of all people would know that feeling Matt, considering not only were you a big reason for Daisy’s freedom from Aiken, but I believe you were once in that same position yourself, correct? This catches Matt off-guard, mostly because the only people who knew the full story of the “relationship” between him and Ryan Moss were the two of them, Matt’s parents because they were both involved for different reasons, Daisy because Matt had told her, and potentially Rachel Tatum Lee having figured it out based off something Matt had heard her say leading up to one of their more recent battles. Matt: Did Daisy share that info with you? Mary: Actually, no. I’ve done exactly what that deluded fool Moss did with you so many times I’ve long since stopped keeping track of who has and hasn’t served as a puppet for me at one point or another. It wasn’t hard to figure it out when I looked back over everything, though there are some details that still escape me. Matt: And I’d prefer they stay that way. Now if you’re done wasting my time, where’s Daisy? Mary: You truly are an impatient man with a short fuse, aren’t you? I’d expect nothing less from Daisy’s favorite monster. Though if you ask me... I question what it is that puts you into that category. Matt’s eyebrow raises as Mary slowly makes her way over to a nearby opening that seems like some kind of window, though it’s so dark outside with it being a very cloudy night that it doesn’t really seem like you’d know the opening was even there unless you knew this area well enough. As she takes a seat, her eyes never leave Matt as he keeps his guard up, his eyes scanning around in case Blitzkrieg was anywhere nearby. While he could be in that monster’s presence with no issue if Daisy was around, he was wary when she wasn’t mostly because of how they got off on the wrong foot upon Blitzkrieg’s return to SCW. Mary: You look confused by my words Matt. Matt: Sorry, but I might need a bit more than just that to piece together whatever you’re trying to imply to me. Mary: Well, before we continue then, allow me to make sure our conversation is the only thing you’ll be focusing on. First off, Daisy is busy with her trials to ensure that the stunt Cannon pulled on her doesn’t happen again, especially without severe repercussions. And since you seem tense about it, my titan is nowhere around here either. I’ve left him to his own devices for the night, so it’s just you and me, and I’m afraid you won’t be seeing Daisy until she’s ready. Matt: Then we might have some problems- Mary: And that is exactly what I’m talking about Matt. You’re so intent on seeing Daisy that your judgment is being clouded. It’s the case with any human being: they become so fixated on one thing that they blind themselves to everything else around them. Many would consider this a foolish endeavor because of how vulnerable it leaves them to something they will not see until it’s too late, and even such distractions could be costly should they cause you to forget about what your fixation was in the first place. Take Blitzkrieg for example. Aiken introduced him as an unstoppable monster, and for the longest time that’s exactly what he was. But when he suffered his first true defeat, everything changed. In Aiken’s eyes, Blitzkrieg was distracted by Daisy caring about him to the point where he believed his monster had been humanized by the experience, so the world was made to forget about him as Aiken locked him away to focus on his next projects: the Lee sisters. I will admit that it is quite ironic that your actions against one of them started the chain reaction that led the other into being who she is today. Matt: I did what I had to against Tatum in Brooklyn last year and the only thing I regret about it is the fact that I needed “extra motivation” to pull it off. But I’m still not seeing your point. So what if Blitz became an afterthought because he lost one match? Aiken was notorious for ditching things when they weren’t panning out and that son of a bitch isn’t a concern anymore because of it. Plus, Blitz is free to do... whatever the fuck it is he does outside of breaking people in the ring. What does that have to do with me? Matt leaves back against the wall and crosses his arms, having a feeling that Mary’s going to let him know exactly that and wanting to be ready for whatever she feels she can throw at him. Mary: Well Matt, since you want to cut to the chase so badly, you are an interesting case. Considering when you first came to SCW you were nothing more than an angry man swinging wildly all the time, many people might have considered you a monster then because you did things without a purpose or without care. But then you were involved with your “puppet master” and served a position where the term “monster” seemed more appropriate, but I doubt he saw you as that. It’s true that you have grown more violent and destructive as time has passed and you’ve grown accustomed to the environment of SCW, but I’ve noticed that the vast majority of your actions have been in regards to Daisy. You are no mindless puppet to her, and yet you allow yourself to act more “human” around her to the point where I can guarantee anyone you know back home wouldn’t even recognize you if they saw such behavior. This was most evident in your actions at Apocalypse, with Daisy being the force that kept you going in your match with Foxx and you even screaming her name as you laid waste to that forgotten relic. Most people don’t consider that the actions of a monster, and I doubt many in SCW would be willing to be afraid of you if they make that connection and feel if they can take Daisy out it will affect you as well. That is part of why she is undergoing these trials... extra work that you have created because of how you act in her presence. Ask yourself this question and answer me: do you feel you are a monster Matthew? Matt almost snarls at being called his full name by Mary again, but he makes no move beyond that as he appears to be deep in thought. Mary tries to read his facial expression but can’t see beyond the anger he’s using to expertly mask his true thoughts. After a few moments, a smirk actually breaks out onto his face as Mary hears his response, and it’s not exactly what she thought she’d hear from him. Matt: Let me turn that around on you for a moment Mary, because I know you’ve got a kid and you act around her the way I do for Daisy. No need to actually answer because I know you’ll see where I’m going. Plain and simple: human beings can be the worst monsters out there if you give them the right incentive. Think about any act throughout history where one person has done something horrific or unspeakable. Were they mere men and women or monsters for what they did? Better yet: why couldn’t they be both? Maybe I am acting different around Daisy because I treat her like she’s my actual daughter, but does that change who I am when it’s time to throw down? Fuck no it doesn’t! I still enter that ring with only one intention and that’s to literally kick the shit out of anyone who thinks they can go toe to toe with me. If they think they can get to Daisy – or any member of the Blood Grove for that matter – thinking it’s going to make dealing with me easier, they’ll learn the hard way they just made their task damn near impossible. If I’m willing to destroy myself if it means I do what needs to be done for Daisy and this entire group, then am I any less of a monster for having a more “human” incentive behind my destruction? With that said, Matt pushes off from the wall and begins walking away, but not before pausing for a moment to say one final thing to Mary. Matt: Since you won’t let me see her now, I want to be the first to see Daisy when she’s done with these trials or whatever. And as far as your titan goes... I’m game for causing mass destruction by his side come Breakdown so long as he’s willing to share in the carnage. Let him know that next time you see him. As Matt takes his leave, Mary looks legitimately surprised by the answer she received from him, pondering his words with intrigue and curiosity as he disappears into the shadows. Mary: He’s truly a unique individual... he acts as a monster and uses being human as a reason to justify being more than a monster. That response also shows me he’s far more than just a stereotypical “angry tough guy”, hiding some intelligence one would never expect someone like him to possess. I see now what Daisy sees in him, and perhaps I should keep an eye on him going forward to see what I can take away from him to apply down the road. He may very well be the perfect weapon for the Blood Grove... -- If there’s one thing Apocalypse reminded the SCW fans, it’s the fact that when Matt Auclair has an end goal in mind and is hellbent on getting it, there is no force in existence that will stop him. Just like his hellacious battle with Rachel Tatum Lee to win his first Underground title, his House of Fun match with Rachel Foxx to keep his second reign alive saw Matt being a mangled wreck in the end but it wasn’t enough to keep him from putting Foxx down once and for all, nor was it enough to stop him from participating in the ladder match later on in the night. While he may not have walked away as World champion, a member of the Blood Grove did, so Matt has no reason to be upset with how that match turned out. That’s why the sight we open up to is actually not a very surprising one for once as we find a content Auclair seated on a reversed steel chair and resting against the back rest as he gazes into the camera. The signs from his war with Foxx are easily noticeable, but Matt could care less as they just add to the multitude of battle scars his body already proudly wears. Matt: I have a question I want to pose to everyone whose watching right now... still have any doubts about me getting the vote for Star of Tomorrow at last year’s End of the Year Special? If you did and Apocalypse hasn’t erased them, then clearly you’re watching the wrong fucking program every week. I walked into Apocalypse and did exactly what I said I would do, and that’s put that damn Foxx out of her misery once and for all so she can FINALLY stop leeching off those who have surpassed what she was once capable of in the Underground. What I did to her was for myself and all of Foxx’s attempts to try and convince you all that I wasn’t “violent enough” to be one of the best damn Underground champions this company’s ever seen, it was for Daisy for how many times Rachel thought she was clever enough to dodge the bullet that should’ve put her down long ago, it was for Tatum who despite the hatred that’s present through any respect we may have deserved far better than the stunt Foxx pulled at Rise to Greatness, and most importantly... Matt pauses to reach down, and when his hand returns to the shot it’s clutching the Underground title tightly, making sure everyone watching at home can see it clearly. Matt: ...it was for the legacy of this title, because while Rachel may have been one of the lunatics who put this belt on the map, she also spat in the face of anyone looking to build upon the foundation she laid because she couldn’t bear the idea of all her hard work from god knows however long ago being erased by the shifting sands of history. If you’re going to formally pass the torch to someone, at least have the balls to accept that you were surpassed at what you were the best at and move on safe with the knowledge that the legacy you started is in good hands. All Foxx truly had at the end of the day were excuses to try and hide the fact that she regretted that decision and desperately wanted her limelight back, but if I didn’t put that light out permanently at Apocalypse then she had better wake up smart enough to know she’s never getting this belt back from me so long as I can still fight, and she learned the hard way that no matter how much blood you drain from my body I’m always able to fight on. A lot of people are probably waiting for me to vent and bitch about not winning the World title on top of everything since I qualified for the main event with Rachel’s demise, but they’re thinking of the Matt Auclair that cared only for himself and simply smashing everything in sight, and even that Auclair might not have cared too much so long as I broke enough bodies in the process. I may not be World champion, but that doesn’t change the fact that the title still belongs to the Blood Grove now regardless of who’s holding it, and for all the talk Monarchy keeps putting forth the looks on their faces said everything we needed to know at the end of the pay-per-view... they’re afraid of the floodgates that opened when Kelcey couldn’t have her shot, because now any hope she had of remaining “perfect” might only exist in the form of her record assuming she has what it takes to get past us. Is she prepared to pay such a price? Considering she’s going to be down a significant other once Daisy gets her hands on Cannon, she doesn’t really have much of a choice. The malicious smirk that adorns Matt’s lips as he says this are quite unsettling as he clearly takes a moment to picture how badly Red Rayne is going to maim Cannon when he gets his Adrenaline title shot. He hoists his title over his shoulder – albeit with a bit of difficulty clearly stemming from the lingering pain of his House of Fun match – before shifting gears to the impending matter at hand that isn’t Monarchy. Matt: I’m honestly not surprised anymore that I put my body through hell in two dangerous matches and the boss opts to not give me a chance to recover and instead throws me right back into the heat of battle. If it were anybody else, you’d hear a lot of bitching and moaning about how unfair it is and attempts to politic their way out of the situation just to get more recovery time, but you’re looking at a man who was bred ready to fight at a moment’s notice. If I lit my own goddamn hand on fire and was still willing to use it the very next Breakdown, then what does that say about how ready I am to main event with little time to fully recover from everything Foxx threw at me at Apocalypse with the ladders on top of it? For the three people who are hoping and praying that this means I’m not as big of a threat as I normally would be, they’re about to watch those hopes shatter beneath my boot along with any sense of momentum they were hoping to build going forward. Stacy, Stacy, Stacy... how’s being delusional treating you? Considering how the past few weeks have gone for you, I wouldn’t be surprised if you waltzed in front of the camera singing all about how you’re going to lead your team to victory because you so great at doing that. I’m man enough to give credit that you brought the fight to me when you got your still-undeserved shot at my title, but the fact of the matter is I did what I said I was gonna do and that’s defend what this belt represents by keeping it out of your hands. But let me ask you to do something quick... go back and watch what I did to Foxx in the House of Fun match and ask yourself if you’re able to not only stand up to THAT level of brutality but also try to match it on a frequent basis. If you aren’t willing to literally sacrifice your life and well-being, then this title was never meant for you in the first place. Does THAT answer your question of why I know you don’t deserve to be anywhere near this championship? I can’t make it any clearer than that since you continue to question it, but you can sing Mr. D’s praises about this match not being Underground rules because otherwise if you want to keep asking I could’ve gladly been free to do to you EXACTLY what I did to Foxx and see if you still feel you belong in this division. But since you did such a great job at leading those little mutts to tag team gold, leading your team on Breakdown to victory should be a piece of cake, right? Speaking of people who make me wish this match was Underground rules, long time no see Merrick. You know, I never did get to pay you back for that win you took from me early last year after that make believe “ninja” who no longer works here sacrificed himself to hand it to you on a silver fucking platter. Then again, I was too busy becoming Underground champion while you were content with sitting back and trying in vain to play peacekeeper, even going so far as to bribe the boss to give you the power to, essentially, fuck people over who are smart enough to know the rules can be bent if you have the balls to take that option. But it’s necessary in a sport where competition should be the focal point, right? Tell me cowboy, do you really think anyone sitting in that crowd gives a damn about competition? Did you not hear how much they were drooling and screaming in joy when Foxx and I tried to literally end each other? On that note, where were you to ensure that match never reached that point, since our wellbeing has to be a concern too and all? Oh right, you were too focused on preparing yourself for Blitzkrieg to turn you into a leather-coated stain on the canvas, and here you are trying to dust yourself off for round two. Maybe if it was just Blitz you had to worry about, you might have a chance if you took anything away from Apocalypse, but throwing another violent monster into the mix along with a psycho who doesn’t even know what her own next move will be half the time? I don’t see very much order on your side sheriff, so just accept that this is one instance where you just have to bite the bullet and see if enough is left afterwards to make it to next week. It may not seem like too much, but Matt feels he’s said all he really needs to say to two individuals he’s already crossed paths with in the past and will have no problem throwing down with again. After all, he knows what they bring to the table and knows they ultimately can’t last against the combined force that the Blood Grove represents. But there’s the one wild card that Matt hasn’t dealt with yet, and she’s about to get a rude awakening as to what she’s decided to get involved with. Matt: You know what I find funny about Amy Chastaine? The fact that for all this experience she’s boasting about, she made the exact same mistake that Stacy’s made time and time again that’s only gotten her hurt each and every time. She’s claiming that it’s only a matter of time before the Blood Grove collapses on itself because of how she perceives us, projecting what’s probably her own failures to ever hold a group together just to save her own ego. You know that letting your head swell just gives me a bigger target to hit, right Amy? Oh wait, I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced. I’m Matt fucking Auclair, the single most violent son of a bitch you’ll ever regret crossing paths with. I’m a man who has literally put his life on the line just to win and retain the very title I hold, and while we’re on the subject of disrespect I find it funny you’re forgetting about the OTHER defense I made as Underground champion that could’ve actually given you a shot at the title if I had somehow slipped up, which I’m sure is going to make Stacy trust you a lot more even after all that talk about how you had her beat. I’m also somebody who doesn’t give a rat’s ass about that old “hell hath no fury” line because I am pure rage incarnate and every single time I hear that bell ring I don’t stop until I’ve turned somebody into an unrecognizable mangled wreck of humanity. But that means I can’t possibly be of any threat to you because that makes me a selfish asshole, right? You need to stop looking at the Blood Grove as “just another stable” and start seeing us as the family we are, because while a family may have its issues at the end of the day they will do whatever it takes to band together and eliminate a common threat. Kordy, Blitzkrieg and I are just three parts to something far stronger than I think you’re bothering to comprehend, and while I may be the only one out of this trio that’s holding gold that doesn’t mean they’re any less dangerous. I watched as Blitz was virtually unstoppable since he first came to SCW, to the point where the “battle of the unbeatens” between him and that perfect bitch was considered a dream match that just HAD to happen. That was when he truly was just playing follow the leader and taking orders, but now he’s a free monster able to think and act for himself, and he’s grateful to the likes of Mary and Daisy for giving him that chance. And Kordy... do you think she would be where she is today had she stayed under the teachings of that dead man walking Dillusion? We have opened her eyes to so many more possibilities and helped her to better embrace the carnage and chaos that makes up this company, the same thing Wiseman is so desperate to stop even though it’s pretty clear he’s in way over his head. And on a final note, it’s laughable that you think I’m following Daisy’s orders considering I am her father. She is who she is because of me, and I have become who I am today because of her, and it is that bond that has further joined those who stand with us and solidifies us as equals. By all means, go ahead and argue that if you want because you have all the experience in the world to back it up. But take a good long look through past matches and you’ll find that experience means shit all to Blitz and myself and Kordy could care less about how good you think you are so long as she gets a chance to get her hands on you. This is a family that has finally taken its place as the de facto dominant force in SCW looking to crush the resistance of three individuals who believe they are united under a common cause until they understand individual motives don’t mesh well enough to allow it to stay united for very long. There is a reason why the Blood Grove is holding almost every title in SCW and why there is no force on this planet, whether it be god, the three of you, Monarchy, or Mr. D himself, that can stop us. You’re more than welcome to try... just don’t be surprised if the end results are far more painful than you ever thought possible. To punctuate his point, Matt slowly tightens his right fist to the point where the cracking of joints makes a horrific symphony to our ears, making it clear the ever-lethal Deathblow is ready to be launched at a moment’s notice. While his opponents should be happy he won’t be able to use fire, barbed wire, chains or the head of a hammer to add to its destructive capabilities, it doesn’t change the fact that this is only one weapon they will need to try desperately to avoid if they have any hope of surviving Breakdown. Easier said than done... |

Kordy was in conflict Part of her was filled with rage and anger still over what had happened on breakdown to her beloved mother Red Rayne. She wanted the head of Chris Cannon she wanted to rip it off from his body and watch the blood dribble sickenly from the handsome face and squirt from the lifeless stump in unison. But at the same time she was over joyed by what happened at Apocalypse the result of her own match was meaningless to Kordy she was out there to play. To Enjoy herself not to win. That wasnt her goal the rest of the blood groove they were there to win an kordy only saw a point in winning when mother or grand mother told her she needed to win other wise it meant that Kordy was free to have fun and fun of course was in causing pain to others. During the match Kordy did just that making it to the final three before being double teamed by Angelica Jones and a woman that helped train her. Nicole Kinneck. This wasnt over for years some had referred to Kordy as Ducky light or maybe ducky light...or Lime Ducky. Kordy was afraid that she would end up in the box when all the other members of the blood groove that were booked for the show qualified for the show. Sure she caused some chaos by costing Stacey Kissenger her spot in the final match of the evening. That was fun... The singing bird thought it was wise to mock the blood groove. She had to be punished for this. And not in pain like many in SCW she was filled with greed and a lust for things that mean nothing like title belts. So Kordy hurt Stacey in the best way possible that she saw fit. She cost Stacey her chance at becomming World Champion. That is how you hurt them cost them the chance at their precious leather and shiny's. And it allowed Kordy to play with some one else as well in Amy Chastine. The attack on Amy wasnt personnell she had been dealt with by mother before. It was an added bonus that she was an enemy as well but it didnt matter who it had been against Kissenger the result would have been thhe same no matter who she was facing. This attack was a designed one to take from Stacey to steal her dreams from her. She had mocked the blood groove one too many times she had tried to make the group look like fools. She was stupid enough to think the purge was a joke. She thought that surviving Matt Auclair she had some how won. She tried to justify her defeat with pathetic ramblings. She tried to say that the fact she was still breathing... that some how she won? Does that mean each enhancement talent that gets beaten into a pulp some how won? No of course not we dont live in a world of puppy dogs unicorns and fairy tales. Matt Auclair defeated Stacey Kissenger and like it or not she can claim otherwise all she wants but she was purged. And the glorious thing about the purge is it isnt a once in a life time thing what will happen on Breakdown is another Purging for Stacey Kissenger as she steps in the ring with Kordy the Blood grooves resident Princess Lunatic. Matt Auclair the master of the Death Blow and the former World champion the greatest monster in SCW History the titan himself Blitzkreig. This will not be a good night for the Blood groove's enemies this will not be a night they are going to want to write home about. Kordy has something to prove. She has to be at her best because she was the only member at Apocalypse to be defeated. Blitzkrieg, Auclair and most importantly Dawn Lohan Kordy's beloved sister were victorious. Kordys defeat in the long run did nothing to hurt the blood groove. But still that didnt make Kordy feel any better she had no goals to win the title that her sister ended up winning. She only wanted to help achieve the end result that happened anyways the Blood Groove capturing the World Heavyweight title. Sticking it to the monarchy. To Kordy the monarchy were the stuck up jocks in school the pretty gils in designer clothes. Popular and beloved by all. Kordy never liked the popular kids in school she was never one of them. Kordy was always the outsider. Even before her transformation into the woman she is today. Stuck up pretentious entitled assholes who believe the world owes them something. Attacking Red Rayne made a hate that was just passive become a burning fire. She wanted to Hurt Chris Cannon she was obsessed with hurting Chris Cannon. Red Rayne lived on a pedestal in Kordy's mind she was her mother. Kordy cherished the woman that was once known as Daisy Lee more then herself she would litterally die for the Red Queen if that was her wish. So Cannon's attack on the Adrenaline Champion was one that drove the Blood Groove's mad woman even madder. Over the days and week that followed Kordy had become obsessed with the Adonis known as Chris Cannon. Obsessed with revenge obsessed with avenging her mother Red Rayne. But her standing in the blood groove puts her in a position where she cant act as recklessly as she would like. Since she was the only blood groove member to be defeated at Apocalypse. The one flaw in a perfect record Kordy knew she would love to just swoop in on Cannon and his wife as they have dinner and beat his skull into a pastey pulp as they have dinner but in this moment Kordy had to play it cautiously she had to do things far smarter and far less recklessly then she normally would. The chaos she normally lived her life in could lead her to getting into trouble it could lead her to getting on Grand mothers bad side. Grand mother was of course the Lethal Mary Mallory or better known to the masses as Typhoid Mary. Mary was not nearly as Kind to Kordy as Red who she herself ofthen beat kordy merciously when she was in a bad mood but at the same time. Red was caring for kordy she gave Kordy acceptance that Blood Groove's lunatic rarely felt. She gave her meaning that kordy hadnt had in quite some time. Mary treated Kordy like she was an annoyance even the way she looked at Kordy hurt her. She looked her with a look of disdain. Her face ofthen blank with expression when her eyes looked upon Kordy. Kordy would try to get Mary's attention try to prove herself to her but it would always be met with a passive disdain a look that said "Your not even worth my time" . Kordy admired Mary she was strong a legend at what appealed to Kordy. She was known for being vicious and causing massive amounts of pain. So obviously Kordy adored mary cause pain was something you might say she is a big fan of. But Mary she doesnt really seem to share these feelings. We open in the home of Red rayne Mary Mallory stands outside of the door when Kordy skips over. They are in contrast to each other. Mary dressed in a sleek black gown her hair down perfectly. Kordy her hair sloppily put in pig tails wearing a Go bots t-shirt and a puffy black and pink tutu with black leg ins with skulls on them. Kordy: Can Kordy see Mommy? Mary: No Mary says flatly not even looking directly at Kordy as kordy bobs and weaves about trying to get a look in reds room but the door is shut and mary is standing in the way. Kordy: Just a minute Kordy needs to talk to mommy...kordy is all messed up...in the head right now Kordy doesnt know what to do. Kordy wants to go stab Chris Cannon maybe in the throat maybe in the eye but definetly stabbing...has the be a stabbing. SEE KORDY even made a sharpy stabby for Chrissy Kordy says showing off a spoon she had fashioned into a shiv now if mary even cared she would ask why make a spoon into a shiv? wouldnt just using a knife be easier. but she didnt and she really wanted nothing to do with this lunatic as most people would be of the same mind. Kordy says this making a stabbing motion with her hand. Mary: No. Kordy: Grandma pleassssse Kordy wants to see mommy. Kordy is sure Mommy would want to see Kordy's sharpy sharp stabby tool of cannon stabbing. Kordy says making more stabbing motions with her hand. Mary: No. Kordy: STABBY STAB! STAB! Right in the guts! GRANDMA GRANDMA! Guess what You can make some one bleed out if you stab them in a leg did you know that? Mary: No...Go away. Mary says not paying attention to kordy as she continues to jumpp around all excited with her shiv fashioned spoon. Kordy: ....Can I see Mommy now? Mary: No. Kordy: How about now? Kordy asks tilting her head to the side Twirling her shiv in her fingers. Mary: No. Kordy: Can You get Blitzkrieg to give Kordy a piggy back ride! OH OH OH! Kordy has an idea maybe Kordy could ride on Blitzkriegs back to the ring! YIPPIE!!!! Mary: No...your an idiot. Kordy pauses thinking rubbing her chin with one hand...as the other continues to stab the air with her shiv. Kordy: Grandma can Kordy go on a date with Blitzkrieg hes really sexy hot! Mary looks at Kordy with disgust and shakes her head. Mary: No why would you even utter something so ridiculous Kordy: Ah...because kordy wanted to? Mary sighs and shakes her head in disgust. Kordy: Can Kordy make Blitzkrieg a sandwich and give it to him? Mary: No. Kordy: Can Kordy see mommy? Mary: No. Kordy: Can you drive Kordy to Chris Cannons house so Kordy can stab him in the throat kordy asked Dawnie but she said no she said that would make her an accessory in murder. But Kordy REAAAAALLLLLY wants to stab Chris cannon in the throat. Kordy just wants to watch him bleed...mmmmm grandma kordy wants to watch him gasp for air...have you seen it before Grandma..some one gasping for air as they bleed out from a wound to the throat...its so...so...thrilling. Grandma please drive Kordy to see Chrissy poo kordy cant drive...but if you drove then Kordy could go stabby....stabby...stab.... Kordy says getting distracted by the imaginary in her demented mind images of her stabbing chris cannon blood spewing from the wound like a gyser cannon struggling to breathe gasping for air as the blood starts to fill blood dripping from his lips as he coughs choking for breathe the imagery is the kind that sends a tingling through kordys body. feelings that would not happen to any sane person. Mary: No. once again mary just doesnt care for the words of this unhinged lunatic. Kordy: Grandma are you excited for breakdown. We're going to hurt some peoples...well your not but Blitzkrieg and matty and kordy are. We are going to hurt that stupid singing girl who kordy would like to stab in the throat just because her singing is so bad and annoying. She is nooooooooo one direction. Kordy would stabby stab her just to stop her singing...stupid cow. And that amy girl... you see how RUDE she was to Kordy Grandma you see how she didnt even thank Kordy! RUDE! Oh and that stupid good gu Merrick Wiseman well you know all about him since Blitzkrieg destroyed him at Apocalypse. Mary ignores Kordy pulling out her phone from her pocket she dials a number. Kordy: Who you calling Grandma! The ghostbusters? tehehehe Kordy made a funny..whoya gonna call? get it ghostbusters! did you know they are making a new ghostbusters movie but this time the girls are all ghostbusters. But I guess they couldnt do an original now that Egon is dead. The other three are still alive but Ernie hudson everyone forgets. Did you see Congo? He was the best part of that piece of poop. Mary: Dawn...come retrievve your sister shes annoying me. Kordy: Are you talking to Dawnie! SAY HI! TELL HER KORDY LOVES HER! And tell her that kordy says Congratulations! OH OH OH! Ask her if she changed her mind about driving Kordy to go see Chrissy poo. TELL DAWNIE KORDY LOVES HER!!!!!! Mary: Hurry. Mary sighs and turns off the phone and looks to Kordy with a very annoyed expression Kordy tilts her head in response moving in closer. We hear the clicking of heels and Kordy turns her head and see's those heels belong to the NEW SCW World Heavyweight and world champion. Kordy drops her shiv upon seeing Dawn the shiv makes a soft ting sound as Kordy drops it on the floor. Kordy: DAWNIE! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Kordy rushes to dawn running as fast as she can to Dawn she hugs Dawn tightly. Kordy: Congratulations! DAWNIE! Your the world champion and the womans champion Kordy always knew you had the best ovaries. Your ovaries are way better then Kordy's ovaries. Dawn: Eh...thank you Kordy i think you have congratulated me more then any one else...combined Kordy: YOU GOT THE E CARDS I SENT! The one with the puppies. Dawn: Yes... Kordy: The one with the dolphin that said " I'm fliping out for you" Because Dolphins flip in the water kordy thought that one was funny. Dawn: Yes Kordy I got all 200 of them. Kordy: Your the best Dawnie! Kordy bets Mommy is so proud of you. Dawn: How is she? Dawn asks Mary calmly as Kordy continues hugging her dawn ignoring the fact that kordys head was now resting on her breasts. Mary: She'll be done her trials soon just keep your sister away till its time. Dawn: Anything for mother. Kordy: We'll get to see mommy soon!?! Dawn: When she's ready Kordy...you need to behave alright. Kordy nods in response. As Dawn leads her down the hall away from red's room and the very annoyed Mary Mallory. Kordy: Yes Sis sis. Can we go to the cannon's house yet? Dawn: I told you Kordy we cant and that revenge is mothers to deal to Chris Cannon not yours. Do you want to take that away from mother? Kordy: No..no Kordy just didnt like mother being hurt. Dawn: Neither did i but we need to be patient you can do this for me...for mother? Kordy nods her head in response hugging dawn as they walk down the hall. Kordy: Yes sis sis. Did Kordy congratulate you on your title win yet? Dawn: You did. Kordy: Did Kordy tell you shes loves you? Dawn: Yes...you did. Kordy: Kordy loves you Dawnie. Dawn: I love you too Kordy. Kordy: Can we go for ice cream. Dawn: No because you got us banned for biting one of the employees. Kordy: OH...Kordy forgot that...sometimes Kordys brain goes all fuzzy in parts. Dawn: Did you take your medication? Dawn says softly running her fingers across kordys cheek. Kordy: No...Kordy doesnt like them...they taste gross. Dawn: And i told you not to chew them just take them with water it will be alot easier. Kordy: Thank you Dawnie your the best sister. Dawn: Lets get your medication then we can see about Dinner. The two walk to the kitchen as the scene cuts to black. -fin- promo----- We open and immedately see what a difference the absence of Red Rayne brings to Kordy her hair is in awkward pig tails that are in no way going in the same direction her make up is done in a manner close to heath ledgers joker she looks into the camera with a demented expression as she blankly stares into it for an awkard 30 seconds before saying a word her eyes un blinking. She wears what appear to be an asian school girl uniform. Kordy: Hello SCW. hehe Did you enjoy the Purge...or Apocalypse as it was called. The ignorant monarchy thought that attacking mommy would weaken us they thought it would bring us down but no tehehehe. WE GOT SOMETHING YOU WANT tehehehehehe. We got 1 ...2....3....4 Titles and how many titles does the stupid head monarchy have A BIG ZERO!!!!! Kordy says holding out a zero sign with her hand As she begins to laugh maddly. Kordy: And Miss Cry baby Kelcey Wallace is all like "OH your the lesser evil I'm perfect blah de blah blah my farts smell like roses. Its only a matter of time before i become the real world champion. " Kordy says in a surpsingly almost dead on Kelcey wallace almost as if the former world champion. Kordy: You silly monarchy People you thought you could attack us and get away with it. You think that dawn is a transitional champion your ignorance...is like a thing of beauty. Because every time you have tried to hurt us we have not only gotten stronger we have hurt you back and taken what YOU wanted. WE didnt even consider you a centeral problem but you MADE yourselves our enemies. Hehehe and people call Stupid Kordy stupid. hehehe You have set your own execution monarchy. You may think you have us where you want us... You may think that Kelcey will take the title from Kordy's wonderful Sister Dawn Lohan. BUT NOPE! HEHEHEHEHEEHEEHEHEHEEHEHEHE Kordy says breaking into uncontrollable insane laughter. Kordy: You dont rule the blood groove we are a force of nature unlike you. We dont live on materialism and our own shameless egos. Your mistake is believeing in your cause so much thinking yourselves to be so powerful that you dont think you cant be burned when you jump into fire. But the thing about fire...is it burns no matter who you are. Kordy says this producing a lighter she flicks it open an a small flame appears. Kordy: It will burn you...no matter how powerful you believe you are. The Blood groove is the fire Monarchy...and if history has taught us anything its that fire lasts forever you can think it has been snuffed out but it will appear...again and again but monarchs they die...they fall they disappear. You are playing with fire Monarchy and this is a fire that will most definetly burn... Kordy says moving her finger over the flame of the lighter leaving it there as the flame leaves a black make on her flesh kordy looks it over then slowly drags her tongue along it licking the wound. And then smiling saddistically. Kordy: Now...Breakdown...oh that will be beautiful. We have two girls i played with at Apocalupse The ungreatful cow Amy Chastine who Kordy handed an opportunity to win the world title to. And didnt even recieve a single thank you for. You were as kelcey would say "the lesser evil" Kordy says going into her Kelcey Wallace voice. before once again breaking into insane laughter. Kordy: You were less annoying then the annoying singing cow you are now teamed up with. And now you will suffer the fate of coming into direct conflict with the Modern day Titan. Hehehehe you ignorant little cow do you know who Blitzkrieg is? Do you never mind myself or the underground Champion Metthew Auclair. No no never mind us. He on his own has effortlessly slain the best in SCW. And he is part of the Blood groove and he is coming to breakdown with the intent purpose to destroy you three. And SURPISE he WILL. Kordy shouts out surpise happily and then says "he WILL:" in the most sinister tone. Kordy: Yes you will...deny it go ahead. IT will just make the statement that will send shockwaves through this entire company. Kordy makes no quims this will be all about it Blitzkrieg making a statement. Wiseman he knows what it is like to step into the ring with the Titan and be Decimated because that is what happened at Apocalypse. And that is what will happen on Breakdown another decimation at the hands of this beautiful beast that Kordy will watch im admiration as he destroys each and everyone of you. Go Ahead try to fight him off do all your fancy moves and watch as all your efforts bounce off the titan and he DESTROYS YOU! And then Kordy will just skip along into the ring take a hold of that pretty arm and make you scream even if the match is over Kordy doesnt care Kordy will hear you scream. Wiseman... Chastine...Kissenger is doesnt matter some one will scream for Kordy and that will be Kordy's tribute to the titan...and most of all to Mommy. Kordy: So everyone watching out there....BEWARE....Take CARE the freaks come out at night....We're coming. Kordy says as she then breaks into insane laughter throwing her head back as she does. while the scene fades to black -end- |

OOC: Just wanted to see where this went and wowzers! Also, for the awesome boss Olek, please start incorporating the flying forearm into the character as tastefully and in character as possible. What people do not know is that he has metal plating around his bones since Angelica Jones crushed his arm during the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament. He has been reluctant to use it for obvious reasons and still is, but as you will read below, there’s a lot changing here. Just wanted to give the match writers a heads up. Also, my promo went WAAY out to lunch, but in a good way. But Olek, I sincerely ask that you talk to me if this direction does not work for you. I’ve basically reached a point with the character where I am going in circles with what my opponents say and what happens. So... I decided a while back to start nudging him in this direction. If it is too much Olek, please contact me so I can adjust it before I get too involved in the storyline to pull back. I honestly want this rp to inspire our boss and writers to take Wiseman in a new direction. If not, well, I will keep trying! Best of luck all! The War Journal On Sunday, something very interesting happened. Actually, several interesting things happened at Breakdown. If you didn’t watch it, then stop right now, because I have ZERO diplomacy right now when it comes to what I need to discuss, so go and watch the replay, and then come back here. Use your TiVo, put me on pause, I don’t know. Just don’t whine folks if I am spoiling what happened. Plus, it’s been almost a week, so if you haven’t at least heard what is going on, you live in some cave somewhere, and how you have cable in said cave, I have no idea. And I am not going to say that Blitzkrieg cheated or did anything of the kind. We had a match. He won. It’s as simple as that. On that night, and at that particular time, Blitzkrieg was the better man in that match. I stress the word ‘man’ in that. But I’ll get back to that when I do my promo for that six man tag match. I am not worried about losing. On my way to the World title, I am going to lose a lot. I know that. It’s part of the process. Ask Dawn Lohan. Loses to Selena Frost again and again. Loses to Red Rayne several times. Gets beaten by so many people constantly, and yet on Apocalypse, all of those loses... they don’t mean shit. And now... because of the failure of many... the Blood Grove now holds the majority of titles in SCW. Congratulations, Monarchy. You ALMOST had three in one night, and now you have zero. Way to go Punk Hazard, you lost whatever credibility you ever had. No... it’s Blood Grove... the gang that I called out for obvious reasons. Because I was afraid this was going to happen. And because of a few souls who could not heed my warnings or could not do what they were supposed to do, that... freak show of blood thirsty animals now have a vice grip on four titles in SCW. They have the Women’s, Underground, Adrenaline, AND the World title. Apart from Ravyn Taylor with the US title... and I think we all know how I feel about that... they have every singles title on the map. So as of right now, at this PRECISE moment in time, there is not a single singles champion in Supreme Championship Wrestling that I am fond of. There is not a single one who won’t bend the rules to suit themselves. There is not a single one who won’t mock the law and taint every match they are in. Not a single one. Every league in this place has at the top of its totem... someone who doesn’t care how they win. Just as long as they do. Or has everyone forgotten the countless attacks by Dawn Lohan, unprovoked, on Selena Frost? Do people forget that Blitzkrieg’s and Matt Auclairs Modus Operandi is to jump people after a match to prove a point... that point being that he can beat up a beaten and worn individual. Fantastic... fucking hyena. Or has it slipped through the cracks that Red Rayne and them still want to Purge SCW of its superstars deemed ‘unworthy’? Superstars like the ones I find myself partnering with this Breakdown. Superstars... like myself. Still... I guess selective memory goes both ways. Because I know what Matt Auclair would like to forget. Matt Auclair would like to forget that he has NEVER beaten me in the middle of the ring one on one. Whenever Auclair and I have locked up, it’s always been him biting the dust. And that is something that I do not intend to let change. When he’s done beating on women... or the same woman OVER AND OVER again, Auclair is going to have to face someone like me, and it will be put up or shut up time... with weapons. Which means, you can bring your toys... and I’ll bring New Glory. In fact, before I go any further, let me continue this mode of challenges and say to you, Matt Auclair, that the mere fact that you and your posse have openly mocked me, and you have laughed with them while all the while KNOWING that you have never beaten me... is fucking pathetic. Your very title reign is a joke, because it’s just you beating on Rachel Foxx over and over again. So how about this... you like weapons so much? I’ll put this to you. Why don’t you put that Underground title on the line against someone who is undoubtedly stronger than you, smarter than you, and a much better fighter than you will ever be. Let’s see what happens when you swing a chair and it DOESN’T WORK... what then asshole? Let’s say you put Blood Grove’s money where its mouth is and put that Underground title on the line in this six man. Whoever makes the pin... gets the title. And I am not saying YOU have to be pinned, no, because I was just in the ring with him, I KNOW I can pin Blitzkrieg. Kordy is a psychotic, but I’ve felled crazier... No. I’m saying you’ve stood by while they have carried your ass through your title reign. Let’s say you do what Lohan did and take on ALL comers? Hmm? What say you to that? Try that boot on for size and see if it fits. Six man tag – Underground rules... and let’s see how well the Blood Grove cares about you. Would they forsake the chance for themselves to hold a title in order to ensure your title reign? How does that sound, Matt? Where does your confidence in your comrades lie? And watch all of a sudden Matt Auclair is going to get shy. He would never agree to that. Why? Because Auclair, like most of his cohorts, is all talk. Dawn Lohan had one good day. ONE GOOD DAY. I will admit, it was at the best possible time, and now she has the World title AND the Women’s title. But if she had any sense of decency, which is let’s be honest... a BIG ‘if’, her first challenger shouldn’t be Ravyn Taylor or Syren or anyone from Monarchy. They had their chances and they fucking blew it. No. Everyone in that ladder match at the end except those who walked away from it were doing their damndest to win. They didn’t. There’s nothing on that. Ravyn... you tried and you failed twice. It’s over. Get to the back of the line. Wallace, fuck you. That’s all I have to say on that. If you ask me, there’s only one person who has a RIGHT to challenge Dawn Lohan first for the SCW world title. Selena Frost. It’s true. Selena knows Lohan better than anyone. She is also the ONLY person who has always gotten the best of Dawn. And while certainly naive in the ways of the world, I would cheer wildly like a fucking fan boy if I saw Selena Frost as SCW World Champion. Believe that. But back to what I was saying, Blood Grove has four titles. Count em, four. And this was what I was worried about. This was the threat. Not Monarchy. Please. The day Chris Cannon goes too far is the day I stop believing that deep down, he is one of the best men in the business, and that is the day I knock his head off with a flying forearm. Because Justice is Blind... and Punishment does not discriminate. But Apocalypse saw my fear realized as Dark Fantasy, Monarchy, and everyone in between were unable to stop the Blood Grove from seizing hold of SCW’s titles. I say the titles... not SCW. And that... that is the fault of a few people in particular. In fact, the success of Blood Grove comes as a direct result of the failings of four people. Ravyn Taylor Obviously. Ravyn, you fucked up. And you fucked up huge. You whined, bitched and complained about justice at Rise to Greatness, sounding more than a little like yours truly but in all the wrong ways. Which is hilarious, because you don’t seem to mind controversy when it benefits you. That’s obvious. But you had no excuse on Apocalypse. You were the fresh athlete. You knew the rules. You knew what you were getting into. You wanna know why I wasn’t there to stop any interference? Because it’s a ladder match AND THERE’S NO DQ RULES! THAT MEANS IT’S IN THE RULES THAT THERE ARE NO RULES! But I guarantee SOMEONE is going to bitch about how I let Blood Grove take the title by interference of Monarchy. When are you people going to learn that I am not trying to make every match one on one or without controversy... as long as it’s in the fucking rules! A No DQ match means just that... no DQ, everything is legal, go fucking nuts! I love those matches because I can just sit back and let shit happen. Watch as people get their come uppance by the people they have pissed off again and again. But the second that bell rings and the match ends... all bets are off and the law goes back to the three. You know them. I won’t repeat them right now. So Ravyn, you had no excuse. You knew what you were getting into and you had Syren watching your back. Let me tell you something about that... Syren went for the title, and she sure as hell wasn’t getting it for you. You understand that? You had your shot, you’ve blown it twice now. Now, it’s time to go back to defending the US title, and perhaps this time, you will go to some real challengers like Valentine, Helms, or maybe even Kelcey Wallace if you want to give HER a shot for once. You’ve done enough matches like these. Remember what you said to me about the US title when it was you and me and that Russian bitch? Remember that? It was more important to keep the title in the hands of Americans. Well, you know the importance of these title matches. You knew what the stakes were, Ravyn. You knew what could happen... And you failed. Out of any of the other 12, you were given every chance to succeed, and you did not. You didn’t even come close. Not really anyway. Christ, Vixen Cain had more of an impact than you. Cannon looked like he belonged there, and don’t even get me started on Dawn... you were just... meh. There. And like the last time, you folded under the pressure. And because you could not rise up. Because you could not step up to the challenge, that legion has the World title. Of all the people on my list, and I hate to say this... like REALLY hate to say this, yours is understandable. It was a 12 person match. What were you gonna do? Granted, if I see you getting ANOTHER World title shot, I am going to be pissed, and I will step in if I have to. That’s not justice. You don’t get three chances at the world title after that. There was no controversy. It was a goddamn epic ladder match, and you lost it. End of story. Go finish your war with Kelcey Wallace, and maybe you can try again later. Or maybe you can challenge someone else before you take on Dawn Lohan. Speaking of which... Alexis Quinne You remember what you said about your match with Lohan, Quinne? What was it? You were going to use Dawn a message. You were going to be using Dawn to make a statement. Isnt that right? You were going to bless the division? Well, congratulations, because you blessed the division with a Blood Grove Queen. All that talk and bluster, and what message did you send? ‘Dawn Lohan is better than Alexis Quinne.’ Seriously? Of all the times you’ve had El Rudo and the rest of your entourage try to break the laws... NOW is the time you play it by the rules and lose? I find that hilariously tragic, Alexis, because that’s the basis of all this. If you had actually stopped talking about how great you were and did a little work on who you were facing, MAYBE you could have been in the World title match, and we wouldn’t have been in this mess. Now Lohan has TWO titles, and you’re stuck sucking your pint sized thumb... no title... nothing to show for your many many speeches... and your opponent is the SCW World title. Nice Job. So now what, Quinne? How do you justify the fact that Lohan beat you in the middle of the ring? I don’t see you running to get a match do I? I don’t see you posting a video about revenge or rematches. No. All I see... All I hear... is the deafening silence. Because there is nothing you have to stand on. You got beat, and you got beat big time. Syren You had to do it. You had to try and make it about yourself. You knew Ravyn was going down, and you still went for it anyway. Didn’t you say that you’d hang back and let your wife take this one? So much for that right? All in the family right, and all that bullshit? Yeah... more bullshit from the Queen of Hypocrisy. But THAT isn’t the worst part. No. The worst part is that when Kelcey Wallace came out and attacked Ravyn, you went after her AND her husband, Cannon. Cannon was trying to get Lohan OFF the ladder and YOU stopped him. Why? Because it was more important to get at Monarchy than it was to PROTECT OUR WORLD TITLE FROM THE BLOOD GROVE! YOU made that call in that moment, Syren. YOU put yourself about the World title. And honestly, that’s worst than anything else you did that match. Wbat, do you think you’re just going to bat your eyes and get ANOTHER title hot? No. You were in the match, and like Ravyn... you fucked yourself over. Get to the back of the line! I am tired of seeing Dark Fantasy in the main events, because all I see are two self serving ego maniacs who cannot put the greater good of SCW above themselves. Do you not understand what you two have done?! Because you couldn’t put your egos aside? Because you were not prepared for whatever was going to be thrown at you?! Because of THAT, you didn’t (not couldn’t... DIDNT) stop Blood Grove from taking pretty much every title we have! And this from the person who always said she came out and did the best she could every match for every person in that seat. Seriously... fuck you, Syren. Fuck you. And that leads me to the person most responsible for this. Merrick Wiseman Yeah. Surprised I would admit that? Well, I’ve been sitting here, stewing about it since Sunday. Dawn Lohan is good. I can at least admit that. Hold your own against Selena Frost, I know the girl has some skill. But re watch that match and watch where she had the most help... behind her mammoth ally... Blitzkrieg. Take that boy out of the equation and things would have been a lot different. All the other matches, I can see the same similar outcome. Jake Starr or Winchester instead of Cain, Adrenaline Rush instead of S.R.O, maybe if Selena went on, but no... Blitzkrieg. The great equalizer and the catalyst to Dawn Lohan’s reign. And I was the one who let him through. Because I made the call. I was the one who went to that ring and called out Blitzkrieg. And a lot of you believe I did this to move forward up the chain towards a title. A lot of you think I wanted to use Blitzkrieg as a message, and for good reason too you thought this. Isn’t that what 99 percent of these bozos say? ‘Im going to use _______ as a message. I’m going to make a statement for ___________.’ But no. That wasn’t my objective. I came to bury Blitzkrieg, not praise or brush past him. I said I would end the Grove, and I intend to. Listen very carefully folks, Apocalypse was meant for one thing. Not to just defeat Blitzkrieg... But to test him. Ever since he came back, all I’ve heard was ‘Blitzkrieg is a monster. He’s the Titan’. Over and over again, I heard about the might that was this creature that was more than man, and personally, no wonder the Blood Grove had so much power! The mere notion of Blitzkrieg was enough to turn the strongest of men into cowards! But no... I wanted to test that. And on Apocalypse... I failed. I failed in a match that allowed the so called Titan to juggernaut his way through everyone so that Dawn Lohan had the necessary backing to scurry up and take the title. Had he not been there... the result would have been very different. Yes, Dawn Lohan’s and by extension’s Blood Grove’s success comes because I was not strong enough to beat Blitzkrieg on that night. My failure... my inability to stop him is why they have the World title. I will not forget that. The night I failed to protect the World title. And I swear I will do everything in my power, dedicate myself heart and soul to the singular purpose of ridding SCW of Blood Grove and getting the World title back in the hands of the SCW Camp. The Purge... no more. Enough. It’s time for SCW to stand and say enough of the ghost of Aiken Frost... these remnants of his bygone empire. Just like with Silas Mason... this archetype of evil ends for good. Starting on Breakdown, we are going to lay that evil to rest. For good. But back to Apocalypse... I lost. I went in there, did my best, and unfortunately, the better man won that night. And I said ‘man’... not monster. Because I did test you in that ring, Blitzkrieg, and guess what? Titan? Monster? Please. You’re none of those things. I was there. You were seconds away from being defeated, and you know it. You know how your body ached after your match with me. In fact, there was probably a part of you that didn’t know if he could even go on to another match. But of course, you will never admit that. The MONSTER is unstoppable! That would mean that you’re just a man... and men can be beaten, right? Because at Apocalypse, you may have gotten the better of me, and you may have tried to show your resolve by giving me that second bomb after the match. But I was there, Blitzkrieg. I was close enough to hear your very human heart racing. I felt the strain of your body just to get past me... and I saw how you had to slow down as you were pushed to your physical limit in that ladder match. You are no monster. You are just a man. Not a Titan or King or anything of the kind. And at Apocalypse, I learned something about myself too. I CAN beat you. I just need to become stronger. And I know how to do it. I know how to become strong enough to beat this man who stands between me and the head of Blood Grove. I know it. This Breakdown, I don’t even have to pin the big man to beat him. There’s two others, one of whom I will always stay ahead of, no matter what title he holds or how many more times he’s on the Elite 15. My title isn’t something you decorate on your waist. My title is one that no amount of pain can take from me. I am the only holder of this title, and I am the only one who ever will be. I’m the Watchman of SCW... the Champion of Justice in this world. I start matches and I stop them on a dime. I have that power. I can give, and I can take. I can grant mercy... and I can punish. And on Breakdown, no matter what happens. No matter what your Grove tries to do... there will be Punishment, and this match will be seen to its bitter end. And before the night is out, Blitzkrieg, Auclair, and Kordy... I will make you BOW before the LAW. I got my eye on you. Each and every one of you. ![]() The Saga of Merrick Wiseman September 13 th, 2015 FUCKING DONE Sic Vis Pacem, Para Bellum Old Latin Motto A Few Days Following Apocalypse Wiseman was breathing. HARD. He had struggled through the first set, but made it. But the second set, he was hitting the wall again. He struggled under the 150 lb weights that decorated each side of the barbell. ‘Fuck! Come on! Come on!’ But no matter how much he willed himself, no matter how much his triceps shook and thrashed, trying to push that bar up to its finished position, it would not move. It just hovered there, seemingly frozen in that position, destined to remain there until Wiseman’s body completely crapped out on him and gravity would take its course, effectively crushing Wiseman in the process. Fortunately, Oliver North of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police was there to intervene when that happened. With a reach, he brought the bench up to the hooked bar and Wiseman nearly bolted up. Wiseman: Goddamn it! He shook his arms to try to shake off the growing stiffness. North: What’s wrong? 300 lbs is respectable. Wiseman: But it’s not enough! I was doing 300 lbs over a month ago, and I need to do more. I need to get stronger. North: Why? Wiseman: And I’m not fast enough either! I gotta jack that up too. Where’s the treadmill in this place. North: Whoa! Hey! Wait a second. What’s with the sudden need to get bigger, Jess? Wiseman just glanced over, pointing to a dumbbell bench. With a click of his tongue, he walked over to the set of shiny weights and began curling heavy iron. North followed him with a look of slight concern. North: This about Blood Grove? Bout Blitzkrieg? Wiseman: What else? Look can we talk about this later? I need to focus. North: Yeah. We can talk about it later. As soon as you tell me exactly why you’re beating yourself up when you obviously aren’t improving with your training as fast as you want. You don’t need to be stronger, you’re already one of the strongest guys in the locker room. You don’t need to be much faster because you can still keep up with guys like Winchester. So why NOW of ALL times do you think you need you need to improve by leaps and bounds. Wiseman stopped curling and turned to face his friend. Wiseman: Because it’s not happening fast enough. It’s taking too long. North: What is taking to long? Wiseman: Blitzkrieg shouldn’t be stronger than me. None of them should be f aster than me. I have the longer legs. I have the bigger arms. Look, physically, there isn’t a superstar since Dillusion who should be physically as dominating as me. Reason I lost to Blitzkrieg... he was stronger than me. That’s not... well... that can’t happen again. North shook his head and sat on a nearby bench. North: And you think you can become stronger than Blitzkrieg in a week? Wiseman: Going to have to. North: Well the body doesn’t work like that, Jessie. Wiseman: Don’t tell me how the body works. I’ve been putting it through for two years now trying to figure this fucking place out, trying to make a difference. And it doesn’t work. They only are going to understand one thing. Now where’s the fucking punching bag. He found it in a few moments and began slamming his fists into it over and over. He was breathing heavier and heavier and his shirt was drenched with sweat. But he kept pushing himself. He was like a machine, but as North knew, all machines break down. North: So what’s going on Breakdown? Wiseman: What? He was talking in between gasps. North: What are you doing on Breakdown? Wiseman: I... gotta... match. North: Against? Wiseman: Blood Grove. North knew that and nodded. He had seen the card. He was trying to slow Wiseman down. North: Which ones? Dawn? Wiseman: No... Kordy... Auclair... Blitz. And saying Blitz made him punch all the harder. He just kept on it in a one-two combination over and over, swinging the bag back and forth like a pendulum. North: Well that’s good. It’s like a rematch. Wiseman: Yeah right. My partners suck. North: Well, that’s not fair, Jess. Wiseman: No. They suck. One is Amy Chastiense or however you pronounce it and the other is Stacey Kissinger. Show me how that isn’t one sided. Amy’s too green, and Stacey can’t wrestle her way out of a sweater! He was getting angry again, punching harder. North: Ok ok. Maybe it’s a little uneven. Wiseman: A former SCW World Champion, the current Underground Champion and whatever the hell Kordy is against a rookie, a woman who hasn’t beaten anyone of note in years, and the Former US Champion. Yeah... This is a 3 on 1. Maybe a 3 on one and a half if I am lucky. I can’t let them get to me again. He finally stopped punching leaning over, looking like he was about to throw up. He had been at this for three hours now, and truth be told, North was already ready to drag him out of the place. But before he could say anything, Wiseman was headed towards the treadmill. North: Really? Another run? Wiseman: Gotta be faster. North: Jess, you’re sounding a little obsessed. Wiseman stopped and turned back, his face flush, dripping with sweat, but his eyes aflame with anger. Wiseman: I AM obsessed, Oli. Don’t you understand? Ravyn Taylor STILL has MY US title! Blood Grove has every other singles title imaginable. MONARCHY IS DECLARING WAR ON EVERYONE! JAKE STARR WON’T STOP WITH HIS FUCKING CHAIR! JAMES EVANS WONT SHUT THE FUCK UP! AND TO TOP IT OFF, EVERYONE IS STILL SAYING RAVYN TAYLOR STILL DESERVES ANOTHER FUCKING TITLE SHOT! He looked around, realizing that he was yelling and that some people were looking at him. He recomposed himself, and continued. Wiseman: And meanwhile, my last title shot for ANYTHING was over a year ago! Show me the goddamn justice in that! I lost my shot at the World title because I couldn’t put that big, emo tree in his place. I fucked up, and now... I have to start back at the bottom of the barrel, proving that I can take Ravyn and the US title. So yes, Oli, forgive me if I AM LITTLE CONSUMED WITH THE TITLE I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET BACK FOR OVER A YEAR! He walked to the treadmill, set it up, and began running. North took it all in, walking slowly to the treadmill. North: Then just walk away? Wiseman: What? North: Walk away. Look, this place has made you paranoid, stressed, basically thrown you off to the point where all you are doing is stressing about everyone else. So why keep doing this to yourself? Either leave or don’t be there for them. Be there for yourself. Get yourself ahead. Fuck everyone else. Wiseman: Because that’s not how I’m built. But you are right... there is something I can change. North: Yeah? What? Wiseman: Not what. Who. North: Ok fine. Who? Wiseman pointed to himself as he revved up the speed. North: You? What are you going to do? Wiseman: I’m going to make sure Blood Grove discovers the consequences of everything they have done. That’s what I am going to do. I am going to... FUCK! Wiseman tripped, the treadmill carrying him and throwing him off itself. He couldn’t balance so he hit the ground hard, rolling on the floor. North didn’t move. He was grateful for it as he watched his friend gasping for air, trying to curse but getting no words out from lack of oxygen. North: I think you’re done. Wiseman: Why... why can’t I get any stronger? North: Because you aren’t built that way, Jess. Your body is your body, and you can’t change that. Wiseman just stared up at his friend, refusing to take the offered hand when it came. He hoisted himself to his feet. Wiseman: You’re right. I can’t change my body... And he left it at that, heading towards the locker room. North stayed behind to get a workout in himself, so he didn’t see Jessie make a call in the locker room. Doctor: Hello Doctor Singh. Wiseman: Yes, Doctor Singh. It’s Merrick Wiseman. You treated me for that spider bite before Apocalypse. Singh: Yes of course, Merrick. Terribly sorry I couldn’t do more. It look like your arm was still a little lagging in that match. Wiseman: Water under the bridge, doctor. But listen, I was wondering if you could help me with something. Singh: What’s that? Wiseman: What can you tell me about Anabolic Steroids? *** ![]() There is only darkness here as the camera opens up for the scene. All around there is only the darkness. If one were to stare at it too long, their eyes would hurt. That is how dark it is. But before such time can elapse, the background seems to open revealing a firey eye that stares into the empty space. My eyes are everywhere. They see everyone and everything. As if on cue, another eye appears in the darkness. And then another. And another. Until a swarm of eyes have appeared, piercing the darkness with their gazes as they look all around them. There is not a spot left unturned that these eyes do not have their attention towards. You hear talk from those who pretend they have power. You hear claims about how they have all the power, but even with every title they have or will ever hold, they are nothing more than the most temporary of figureheads underneath a foundation that they cannot touch. The eyes suddenly stop looking around and stare straight ahead. This is not delusions or fantasies, dark or otherwise. This is fact. My eyes... see all. The camera suddenly rushes forward towards this eyes and a bright light flashes before the scene opens to a room. With all the computers and controls, we can see that this is clearly the brain centre for the Watchman program. And sitting in a chair starring at the camera is none other than Merrick Wiseman. He has his hands knitted together as he stares ahead. You know, I’ve just about had enough with the same tired one liners over and over again. You’re a fraud. You’re this. You’re that. You don’t know the first thing about Justice. It just goes on and on. And here’s the thing... did the boss man trust any of you with the power to pretty much run SCW? Can any of you stop a match gold or reverse a decision? He leans in close to the camera. So... I think I speak for only myself here, but... Shut the hell up you freaking retards. He sits back in his chair. Because it doesn’t make any sense with the bullshit you’ve been spouting since day once about me. I’ve been here two years, and I haven’t cheated once. I haven’t overturned a match that shouldn’t have been overturned, and quite frankly, any person whose been punished by by me has deserved it. And yet, every last one of you quote the same lines over and over like a prayer. ‘He’s a hypocrite!’ over and over. Here, I’ll show you. He keys in a few commands to the computer and sure enough, there is video after video that plays on the multiple screens of Matt Auclair, Ravyn, Blitzkrieg, Alexis Quinne, Gable Winchester, Angelica Jones, Selena Frost, James Evans, Jake Starr, and many others all saying the same thing over and over again in different ways. Wiseman looks around and just shakes his head. They have no evidence on this, mind you none... but it’s become the anthem of all my opponents. Here’s a tip, dumbasses. Do some actual goddamn research before you open your mouth, because god knows I do enough when it comes to facing all of you. And yeah, I am complaining O. D., because this one is on you too. You’re the one who gives these idiots air time. I mean, you tell me and SCW.com, Drach. I ever do anything reprehensible? You ever see me do something questionable? You told me to deal with the Mercenaries... I dealt with them. Now... I have to get rid of yet ANOTHER faction trying to be GOD here... and wouldn’t ya know it? They also have a problem with justice. Heh. Right. He looks away, and the screens go to the individual members of the Grove. What they have a problem with is punishment. They think everyone’s so afraid of them that they can get away with murder here... and in a few cases, they almost have. Then, they celebrate it and say that it is a sign of things to come... that the Purge will continue. And yeah, I use Grove as an example, but it’s the same all around. And while we are on that subject, I really am starting to hate the idea of the promo. A promo USED to be about a match, but nowadays, the match isn’t as important as what is going to happen outside of it, after it, whatever. The result barely matters unless a title is on the line. And that’s a problem. So instead of going on about what Blood Grove HAS done, what they ARE doing, and what they intend to do later on... I wanna talk about this match, because you know what... THAT is what is important here. THAT is the world right now for me. He types in a few commands and we just see Matt Auclair, Kordy, and Blitzkrieg on the screens. This match, my partners have remained silent. Not me. Not ever. See, that’s where Blood Grove will fail again. I still have the eyes. I still see all, and the more times you all call me hypocrite, the more the SCW Universe wants me to use the power I have to punish every last one of you. Don’t you get it? The people don’t want you here unless you’re going to shut the fuck up and fight in the ring. And between the three of you, you’re more well known for your antics and attacks outside the ring then you are for having good matches. Yeah. Let me say that again. You three are more renowned for being assholes outside the ring than you are for being professional wrestlers. He shakes his head with a sigh of disgust. IT’s fucking pathetic. And that’s the truth. Matt Auclair, when was the last time you HAD a decent match that DIDN’T involve a chair or something. Every time you face someone worth their salt as a wrestler, you fold like a house of cards. Proof? Alright... How many times you beat me? You ever beat James Evans? You ever tackle Xander Valentine? Jake Starr? Any of those guys ringing a bell? No. You just beat on girls like Rachel Foxx a few dozen times and call it a decent title reign. And without a chair, you are going to have to... GASP... WRESTLE on Breakdown... something that is not in your forte, my friend. Because even if you lose via disqualification, you get to look at that as another time you got bested by the lawman. And then of course, you’ll have to cover up your impotence as a wrestler by jumping someone from behind. Because THAT’S what you do. That’s how you cover up your lie again and again. Your grand facade that deep down, the Underground is the only place you can actually matter. If Ravyn Taylor turned her attention down there, you’d be fucked. Same with Starr. Or... let’s say I did. What if you actually took up my challenge that I said before? How would you feel about that? Because I am the better wrestler, Matt. I am better than you in every conceivable way, and while you have dedicated your time here towards Deathblowing everything that moves, I have become the next step in wrestler evolution. I control SCW. I control the vertical. I control the horizontal. You try doing that and see where it gets you... He leans back towards the camera. Because all it would take is me to call up the bossman and show him some of your footage, and I can have you brought up on criminal charges. Kidnapping, assaulting a co worker outside the ring? Do you even realize just how much you are indebted to me? You are still here, employed by SCW, by my good graces. I find you whimsical. I think the Blood Grove as a whole is a sad little group, a final remnant of Aiken Frost. I think I said that before. And you know what, you are all still here, employed by SCW, because I will it. Not O.. Me. Let me put it this way. With all you idiots have done that my eyes have seen, if O. didn’t fire, I could bring criminal charges to him as well. He knows that. I could bring most of the roster down because our contracts, our rights as American citizens... or Canadian or whatever... entitle us to work in a safe environment with acceptable parameters of risk depending on our vocation. When that environment is threatened... it’s against the law. THE REAL LAW. The law of the world where SCW exists. You get that, Auclair? How bout you Blitzkrieg? How many people do you idiots think I can bring in to point you out in court? Hmm? How many? Everything you have done, and just gotten away with because of the fear. Well, the fear is about to go bye bye. All your little pranks and tricks are going to stop, because my patience ends now! You understand me? Or am I being too hypocritical? I mean... how dare I use the Watchman program to hold you responsible for the heinous acts you commit outside the ring. What am I thinking? He lets that sink in, staring at the camera with an angry glare. I’m sick of you playing by your own rules. Every last one of you bastards. Not just Blood Grove but one thing at a time. But from here on out, you are going to be playing by a different set of rules, MY RULES. Because if you don’t, then your punishment is going to be exactly what you give out to everyone else. And I won’t bring the courts into this. I could. I could throw you in jail for the rest of your worthless lives, and the people would cheer like crazy. But I won’t, because this is my world. And I’m going to give you EXACTLY what you have given everyone else. And you will take it, because you know I have warned you long enough. This is my job! The law enforcer. I have legal right to ensure that the law is upheld, and to punish those who break the law in my ring. You do not. My job... is basically in each of your fucking faces. You got me? And on Breakdown, that is precisely where I am going to be. In...your... fucking... faces. He tilts his head ever so slightly. And I see one chair... one weapon... one lowblow, one ref bump, one ANYTHING I don’t like... and I stop the match. Then I call a new one to start... the ENTIRE SCW ROSTER AGAINST THE THREE OF YOU! No PINFALL! NO SUBMISSION! ONLY KNOCKOUT! Oh and before you say I can’t... just think about that. Think about Rise to Greatness and tell me that I can’t. How much are you willing to bet that with all the power O. D. has given me that he DIDN’T give me the power to restart or change a match as I see fit? Hmm? Are you THAT ignorant to believe that such a thing is impossible? Or are you starting to realize that this whole time, I have been doing EXACTLY what I needed to do to make the changes that SCW NEEDED. Not what you wanted... but what they wanted. He hits another button and we see pictures of all the fans. They are screaming and holding up signs and cheering for their favorite wrestling promotion. You’re on my time now, Grove. Every last one of ya. And my warnings are done. You’ve been warned enough. You know the laws, and I ain’t repeating em. Ask around if you somehow forgot. We’re done with the warnings and the lectures. That time is over. You’ve refused to listen... Apocalypse saw the end of my patience. There’s no peaceful resolution in this matter... so instead, we’re going try a different approach. He hits the button and several words appear on the screen. Sic Vis Pacem, Para Bellum Breakdown marks the beginning of this. The change. And it will be a change. Because I have tried long enough. Have been called a hypocrite for far too long, and fought for the likes of your careers to be better only to be dragged through the mud while scum like you get the title shots and air time. From here on out... if you won’t obey, you will be MADE TO. Because Martial Law begins now, and when it comes to punish you in ways you can’t even imagine... I want you to remember before you shout how unfair it is to the heavens that I gave you all two years. Two years to change. Two years to make this a better place. You refused. And now, you force my hand. Good bye Blood Grove. Thanks for the memories. He gets up and walking off the camera. The tvs begin to flicker and we see the Latin on the screen change to English. If you want Peace, Prepare for War. The tvs flicker again and we see the eyes that we saw before all looking around as they flicker between themselves and the English translations as the camera fades to black. A Champion By the People… FOR the People! |

ALBUM: Adrenaline Rush TRACK 11: Seekin’ Advice DATE: Monday, September 7, 2015 TIME: 11:30 A.M. CITY: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania LOCATION: Pittsburgh International Airport Even though it is only the morning after Apocalypse, Stacy was up early, so she’s been up for several hours now. What’s more important is the fact that she is right now…alone. As she sits cross-legged in a chair at a terminal gate, it’s clear that she’s looking to get out of Pittsburgh, this morning. And judging by the boarding pass that is sitting on her lap, she will be successful in doing so. Stacy picks her head up and looks towards the desk, clearly hoping that they’ll soon board the plane. She holds her boarding pass up with her right hand so it’s right across from her face and then with her left thumb rubs over the three airport call letters of her destination, DFW. Stacy then speaks softly, to herself. Stacy: “Maybe goin’ home for a few days is a good idea. I’ve failed ‘em…” The brunette Texan, who usually looks quite stunning, is anything but on this morning. She didn’t even bother to do her hair this morning, so it’s a tousled mess. Her cheekbones don’t have their normal perfect amount of blush to them. As for the clothing that she has on, it’s definitely far less than memorable. But to Stacy, appearance doesn’t matter, especially with what she’s currently feeling. She looks again to the gate counter, which is when her iPhone starts playing “Fight Song” by Rachel Platten. Stacy sighs and digs into her purse, which is her carry-on, and pulls it out. Seeing the phone number that appears before her eyes, she sighs again but does answer it. Stacy: “Hi.” Craig Thomas does not offer up a hello or any kind of greeting in return. Craig: “Stacy. Where are you? We went and knocked on your hotel room door and there was no answer. Then we went down to the lobby and they said you have already checked out.” Stacy: “Look, Craig, I’m really sorry, but… I don’t know how to say this. But…I need a few days…alone…to think ‘bout thangs.” This causes a tense pause, before Craig finally goes off. Craig: “Is it because of last night? If so, it was only one night.” Stacy: “But ‘cause I was worried ‘bout MY future, the two of yas aren’t the SCW World Tag Team Champions RIGHT NOW! Craig, I failed the two of ya. Ya gave me a test to pass and I failed it!” Some of the patrons in the terminal glance over at Stacy, a few of those really gazing at her. Stacy hasn’t even paid a single of them any attention. Craig: “You have done nothing of the sort. Get a hold of yourself. Tyler is already devastated that you are not here this morning. If you have failed any test, it is that you are not here for him.” Stacy doesn’t even have the time to process this as the announcement has just been made that her plane will be boarding immediately. Craig: “You’re at the airport, aren’t you? Stacy, sometimes rash decisions are not the correct ones.” Stacy: “Yer preachin’ to the choir. I know that. But…but this one don’t feel rash. A few days back home I think will help thangs. Tell Tyler I’m sorry. I gotta go right now though Craig. We’re boardin’…” She can hear him grumbling with anger on the other side of the phone, which does her make her feel bad. Stacy: “But hey…” Craig: “What.” Stacy: “I’ll meet up with ya guys out in Portland. Perhaps then I’ll have a clear mind, which’ll be bettuh for us all.” Craig: “I am going to have a bitch of a time explaining this to Tyler, but fine. Once we are out in Portland though, you owe me Stacy.” Stacy: “Fine. I gotta go Craig. Bye.” Stacy does not even wait for Craig to say anything else. She just ends the conversation and immediately turns off her iPhone, so she can have what she hopes will be peace and quiet during her flight. She tosses her phone back into her purse and then stands up and gets into the boarding line. Her brunette eyes take one last look around, this look being the last she will get while on the ground in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A city that after last night, she probably will not want to see for quite some time. DATE: Monday, September 7, 2015 TIME: 6:59 P.M. CITY: Dallas, Texas LOCATION: Kissinger Residence Stacy looks before her, sheepishly, at the food that sits on the table as leftovers. She looks stuffed, but at least now she looks more relaxed. She looks to her right, over at her mom and is quick to say something. Stacy: “Thanks muthuh. That was just…delicious! I needed this, so badly.” Mrs. Kissinger: “I could tell. Somethin’ that ya wanna talk about? It’s been a long time since ya’ve been home.” Stacy: “I know. But um, yeah, I do have somethin’ I wanna talk ‘bout. When’s Tyler gonna be home from work?” Mrs. Kissinger: “Should be in a few minutes Stacy. Is it somethin’ ya want him to hear too?” Stacy: “Yeah. I could really use advice from both you and…a fathuhly figure.” Mrs. Kissinger: “Oh. Okay.” Stacy’s mom goes and washes up the dishes she has used and takes Stacy’s as well, but she leaves the setting that is laid out for Tyler, for when he returns home from a long day’s work. Stacy stands up and retires to the living room. It is here that she looks in the mirror and straightens out her hair a bit more. She then just waits, sitting cross-legged on the couch. Finally she sees the doorknob turning and she stands up. The door opens and Tyler comes in, calling out to Stacy’s mom. He then turns to his right and is surprised to see Stacy standing there. Tyler: “I had no idea you were coming Stacy.” Stacy: “Muh mom didn’t know eithuh. I did it on a whim. Somethin’ just felt right ‘bout comin’ home for a few days. And well um…” Stacy pauses, which gets Tyler, her mother’s boyfriend of about a year now, to prompt her. Tyler: “Yes?” Stacy: “There’s somethin’ I need to speak with you and muh muthuh about.” Tyler: “Is something wrong? Wrestling related?” Stacy: “It’s more that I need advice, than anythin’ else. I really need some, ‘cause otherwise I think a storm’s gonna roll in that I ain’t gonna be able to tame.” Stacy sighs and this gets Tyler to call for Stacy’s mother again. This time she comes into the living room. The two of them both sit down on the couch, as Stacy moves over to the cushioned rocker that is in the room. She looks over at both of them and doesn’t waste any time with what’s on her mind. Stacy: “So um, for the past few months I’ve been helpin’ these two young guys. Evuh since they came to SCW, I’ve felt that they had what it took to succeed and become our World Tag Team Champions. Heck, I wasn’t even selfish. I’ve put them before me and promoted ‘em, ‘cause well, to me, they were worth it. And…and they still are.” Mrs. Kissinger: “It’s great that yer helpin’ others Stacy, but let me guess, they want ya to help yerself too at the same time?” Stacy: “That. That’s it. Yet the moment I tried to do that, I failed them. I didn’t win at last night’s pay per view, and even worse, they didn’t win the world tag team championships eithuh, ‘cause my focus wasn’t where it should’ve been. It should’ve been on them. Had I been out there, I would have been able to motivate ‘em, givin’ ‘em that one extra push they needed to become champions.” Tyler: “It sounds to me Stacy, that you’re just being a bit rough on yourself.” Stacy: “No, I’m not! Last night was all muh fault. Now Craig’ll nevuh see me as anythin’ useful! He’ll kick me to the curb and not realize that I like him for more than just his wrestlin’ skills!!!” Stacy’s seething, but her words stop. She stands up and turns away from her mom and Tyler, before speaking to herself again. Stacy: “Oh god. Oh god…” Mrs. Kissinger: “Stacy daughtuh, it sounds like it’s more than just you lettin’ em down.” Stacy cannot even reply. Instead she just keeps repeating to herself… Stacy: “Oh god. Oh god. I…oh god.” Tyler takes a few steps over to Stacy and offers up some fatherly advice. Tyler: “Perhaps you should just come clean to him. Clearly this has been building up for at least a little bit of time.” This catches Stacy’s attention. She turns to face her mother’s boyfriend. Stacy: “Don’t ya see? I can’t do that, ‘cause…’cause I’ve been helpin’ his tag team partnuh Tyler Tucker with this fear of women that he has. If he evuh found out that I l-l-like Craig, I don’t know what he’d do. I don’t know what would happen. I don’t wanna mess thangs up with them. They’re the future and I wanna help get ‘em there, as best I can. Last night I screwed up. I don’t want that to happen again.” Tyler’s voice goes to a whisper, so only Stacy can hear what he’s saying. Mrs. Kissinger leaves the room, seeing that perhaps maybe, just maybe, this is a very good bonding moment for her boyfriend and her daughter. Tyler: “I see. However you can’t just clam up your feelings inside of you Stacy. Imagine if I had done that. Your mother would still be living alone. Which by the way, secret from me to you so she can’t hear, I’ve been really thinking about marrying her. Hopefully you approve.” Stacy does not say a word. She just gives him a sudden hug and with a few teardrops falling from her eyes, she nods, before being able to squeak out one word. Stacy: “Thanks.” Tyler: “I hope you at least think about what I’ve told you. Because the sooner you speak the truth out loud, the sooner you and the tag team that you’re helping can move on and be successful. Holding back secrets has never helped me any, and from what I can see, it isn’t helping you either.” Stacy again just nods between some gentle sobs. She then takes a couple steps away from Tyler and apologizes. Stacy: “I’m sorry Tyler. Sorry I’m like this. But again, thanks, so much.” Tyler: “You’re welcome.” Stacy tries to put out a bit of a smile and does succeed. She then leaves the living room, leaving Tyler to ponder what just happened. Stacy walks up the staircase to the second level and heads straight into her bedroom, to a place that has never changed since her childhood. She locks the door and immediately gets down to just lingerie. She then plops herself down onto her bed, which is where she tries to dry her tears. This however takes some time… DATE: Tuesday, September 15, 2015 TIME: 9:31 A.M. CITY: Portland, Oregon LOCATION: Baggage Claim Stacy has been off the plane for about ten minutes now and has made her way to the baggage claim to claim her two bags of luggage. It does not take long for her two very recognizable bags to come out on the conveyor belt. She immediately grabs them and starts slowly walking down the corridor. She then stops at a pastry shop, orders up a pastry and a coffee, and then sits down at one of the tables. It is here where she puts her thought process to the war that is now on her doorstep, even though she knows she will need to speak with both members of Adrenaline Rush soon enough. Stacy pulls out her iPhone and vlogs about her latest thoughts, focusing on the three members of Blood Grove that will be standing across the ring from her tomorrow night. Stacy: “Apocalypse is definitely a night that I wanna forget, but of course, I know definitely for sure that Kordy ain’t gonna let me do that. She considuhs attackin’ someone else thus costin’ me a victory, is purgin’ me. Well, to be perfectly honest, the only thang that’s been purged here is her brain. That’s unfortunate too, considerin’ that even when I knock her around that ring tomorrow night on Breakdown, givin’ her what she rightfully deserves, it ain’t gonna have any mental effect. I’ll still enjoy usin’ my kickboxin’ skills on her though. And if I feel like it, maybe, just maybe, I’ll put HER through the announce table after the match, just for kicks and to say that she was purged.” Stacy pauses, her deep brown eyes now getting fiery. Stacy: “Hear me out Kordy. I know ya think this is nothin’ but play time, but yer WRONG! Tomorrow night it’s gonna be time for WAR! War ain’t somethin’ that’s to be takin’ lightly. Surely yer blessed “mom” has at least hinted that to ya. It’s in war Kordy that there are casualties. And from what I can see, Blood Grove’s body count so far is ZERO! After this Wednesday, that body count will be stayin’ the exact same. ZERO! Just ‘cause yer goin’ around attackin’ people and damn screwin’ people out of opportunities, doesn’t mean that yer purgin’. Heck Kordy, someone like you couldn’t purge a god damn fly!” “Flies are pesky, but yer gonna find out a whole new definition of the word pesky when ya come across both muhself AND Amy Chastaine in the same damn match! I’ve heard what she wants to do to ya, and it ain’t pretty. But if I get a hold of ya, yer gonna be the first membuh of Blood Grove to be ridin’ the pine! Is that crystal clear?!” Stacy’s fieriness is showing so much that once again a lot of people are looking in her direction. But again, she does not notice. Her focus is so on that she just has zoned everything else out of her mind. Stacy: “If it ain’t, it soon will be. Ya won’t be able to even go back to mommy cryin’, ‘cause ya won’t be able to walk or cry.” “Ah but of course I know what yer thinkin’ Kordy. “Let me have the big bad Blitzkrieg end Stacy Kissinger for me and mommy”. Uh…no. I’ve faced monstrous sized athletes before, and even though Blitzkrieg’s a formuh SCW World Champion, he has his weaknesses too. EVERYBODY has their weaknesses. Blitzkrieg’s is easy. He thinks he can just outmuscle and outpowuh his opponents. But…can he outthink ‘em? He’s already shown in the past that he simply can’t.” “So Blitzkrieg, I’m hopin’ yer not seein’ this war as Kordy is seein’ it as. This ain’t playtime and this ain’t just gonna be a short lil’ battle where yer gonna come out victorious. Yer gonna have to fight and EARN it for yer mommy dearest tomorrow night! And even if ya do get yer hands on me, I’m gonna show the world what I can do! I’m gonna get outta yer grasp and cut ya down to size before deliverin’ the Kiss that’ll make the future of Blood Grove be an unsure one!” Again Stacy pauses for some breaths. She breathes deeply and quite fast, not calming down at all. Her eyes look like they can kill at this point as she continues despite her breathing not being calm. Stacy: “And that brings me to you Matt. Out of this trio of the Blood Grove that me, Amy and Merrick find ourselves against, yer the only one that ya would think has any sort of common sense here. I’m not scared to admit that ya were able to get one ovuh on me before Apocalypse. I dished out a lot of what I had and ya were able to just catch me in that one moment. I can live with that, ‘cause I know I have what it takes to beat ya. And low and behold, I get anothuh chance here tomorrow night in Portland. Ya weren’t able to offuh up the Deathblow against me last time and yer lil’ comrades weren’t able to purge me last time eithuh. It’s gonna be the same this go-‘round. If ya wanna think differently, that’s all fine and dandy, it’s just that ya know it ain’t gonna go any differently. In fact, it’s gonna go WORSE for Blood Grove this time.” “Just look around ya Auclair. Yeah, Blood Grove has four championships now. Yeah, yer mothuh is beamin’ until the Kool-Aid comes outta her mouth. Yeah, ya look nigh unbeatable. Howevuh all empires and dynasties fall eventually. I should know Matt, I’ve been in the position ya’ve been in before. I’ve been in that group that believed they held all the powuh. I was in Infection, and they fell. Coalition…they fell. New Eden…fell. This Blood Grove, it’s not an evolution unlike what Red Rayne has said it is. It’s just a new name with a new mission, a mission that in the end will fail! The first cracks will show tomorrow night on Breakdown, right here in Portland…as you Matt, you Blitzkrieg, and you lil’ Kordy…will end up disappointin’ Red Rayne. Tomorrow night there will be no purge. Instead tomorrow night’s war will be the beginnin’ of SCW’s bright future!” Stacy continues to seethe and look like she’s about to really tear into somebody. However she does stop her vlog and put her iPhone away. She tries to calm herself down, however serenity won’t come. Perhaps after Breakdown tomorrow night, at least some semblance of serenity will. But until then, Stacy Kissinger is ready to take on three members of the Blood Grove. Stacy Kissinger is ready for war! |
