I like to use hybrid iwb holster myself. Over the past 5 years I have tried many different holster and found these to be the best for me. Almost more important than your holster is your belt. I use a wilderness tactical 5 stich belt with the kydex insert. This belt is stiff and supports any pistol that I decide to carry, even my 5" 1911. Army

I agree with Roaddogs, wear a quality thick leather belt or similar. I use cowboy leather belts plain style no fancy medals. They support well and hold up for a long time and break in nice to shape of hips.

I also say find a holster best that fits and feels good you you. This unfortunate is trail and error. Yet you will find one that works for you and your frame.

I use a Galco Sky Ops in FBI forward cant carried on my strong side. I am ambidexterity so I also have a smaller one for a snub nose revolver for my weak side.

I found a great pocket holster I prefer for a keltec 380 or similar. Nice fits great does not get hung up and is comfy. But again comes to personal choice and what works best for you.
