[The scene begins with some theme music, “Electric Head Pt. 2” by White Zombie. As the theme plays, furiously fast clips of various wrestlers hitting their finishers are shown. Pictures of Soutter, Domino, and KJ Xanathos are all smiling as they look into the camera. A shot of Mars looking menacingly over Dave Brickheart as he captures the Statewide title. Finally, a shot of Adrian Tanner as he holds the SWAT Australian heavyweight title over his head to the fans’ delight. A slick graphic appears with lightning streaking across the background:]

S.W.A.T. LIVEWIRE!

[The scene goes quickly to the ever-lovely Domino, sitting at the SWAT desk.]

DOM: Hello, and welcome to another edition of Livewire! I’m Domino, president here at SWAT. Tonight, we have a very special edition of Livewire for you, and it also happens to be the first interview ever done on Livewire. Let me introduce to you… the SWAT Heavyweight champion, ADRIAN TANNER!!

[Domino stands up and claps. “Real Solution #9” by White Zombie plays in the background as Adrian Tanner comes on the set, stage left. Adrian is decked out in black jeans, black and white adidas and a black t-shirt with "Your Solution" in white writing on the front. Tanner approaches Domino, they shake hands and simultaneously sit down. The SWAT Australia Heavyweight Championship sits next to him on the couch.]

DOM: Thanks for coming! And congratulations on winning the SWAT Heavyweight title, Adrian. How’s life been for you in Australia thus far?

Adrian: Thank you maam. Your looking fine as always I see. Ah...to answer your question, I love it here in Oz. The people are just so cool. And this is where I got my start so it's got that "special" feel that will never get old.

DOM: This is not your first heavyweight title under the various federations of Paul Soutter. How do you feel about this one, as opposed to the Ring Syndicate version of Australia?

Adrian: Well, the RS Australian title will always hold more value to me than, well, any title. It was my first big title win. It was my 1st title, period. On one night, three short months into my career, I rose to the top of an entire fed. It was just...I cant really begin to describe how cool it was.

But I love this too. (Adrian pats the SWAT Australian Championship.) This place has always felt like my "home," and I couldnt be happier to be back representing as its champion again.

DOM: When you won the SWAT Heavyweight championship, you defeated a man who you had difficulty beating in the past, Sam Piltdown. How did that make you feel, finally getting over that hurdle?

Adrian: Honestly, it was more of a letdown than anything else. I came into that match with something to prove. I wanted to prove once and for all what I believed all those months ago and still believe today, that I_was_better than Sam Piltdown. And to do that, I needed Sam at his best, and it was obvious that he wasnt from the get go. The Sam Piltdown I beat for this belt was a shell of the guy I lost to way back when. and its really sad.

Thats why I needed Reeve to step up. I needed to prove to these people once again that I could be_their_champion. And Reeve, thank you. Thanks for kicking my ass around the ring and making me work to keep this!

DOM: Adrian, you’ve done a lot in a short time. Any wrestling goals for the future you would like to share with us?

Adrian: I like to take it day by day, really. One day if this place ever gets goin like Soutter wants it to I'd like to finally get my shot at that World title that was denied me by a certain someone...

DOM : If you could wrestle anyone in the world right now, who would it be?

Adrian: Well, there is one guy. But I wont waste my breath on actually saying his name. I dont really wanna give him anymore unworthy publicity than he already gets. Let's just say his name starts with a C.

DOM : What are your thoughts on your opponent for this week’s No Mans Land, Sly Fondell?

Adrian: Sly Fondell, is the epitomy of arrogance. Problem is Dom, arrogance doesnt win matches. I should know.

Awhile ago, I_was_Sly. I used to be just like you Sly. Used to think I was better than everyone...ever. Used to think I could beat anyone, anytime, any place.

Then reality came and kicked me in the ass, and I lost the only thing that mattered to me. That's not happening again! Sly says I've been "lucky...."

"Luck" doesnt win you Heavyweight Championships, twice.

"Luck" doesnt drive you to damn near murder an overgrown monkey to keep your Statewide Championship.

"Luck" doesnt win matches, Fondell!

Talent, commitment, heart.... these things win matches, and I've got more of that then you could ever dream of! It's funny really. I would've thought you being the "great" superstar that you are, you woulda done your homework before facimg the SWAT Australian Heavyweight Champ!

If you had, you would've realized that your falling into the same trap everyone I've ever faced has fallen into.

Taking me lightly.

You wont like what happens to you when you underestimate me, Sly. People never do. Because what usually happens, is the person in question ends up on the recieving end of a Revolver or two, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I cant lose this match, I WONT! Not to you. I still have too much to prove to these people here in Australia, and you wont stop me. One of these days, someone will. That's a given. But it_wont_be you. Mark my words, because that's the way it is.

You dont have to like it. You simply have to deal with it.

DOM: Anyone you see yourself wanting to wrestle in SWAT right now?

Adrian: Anyone who wants to try to prove me wrong, really. I'll take on anyone I have to, to make my legacy.

DOM: Wow. Great stuff. Adrian, I can’t thank you enough for coming. You’ve been great.

Adrian: Thanks, anytime.

[Domino looks at the camera, smiling warmly.]

DOM: That’s our SWAT Heavyweight champion Adrian Tanner, folks!

[They each stand up. Tanner and Domino shake hands. However, chair appears to be moving just on the left edge of the camera. As the camera moves left to pick up the action, a man in Armani shirt and tie, looking very GQ, is holding a chair over his head. It is Sly Fondell. At the last split second, Domino shrieks and Tanner reactively moves, but not quick enough to avoid a brutal chair shot over the head.]

DOM: What the hell? Fondell!! Get security in here. And an EMT!

[Fondell stands over the prone figure of Tanner, he looks down with his now familiar arrogant smirk and straightens his tie and smoothes down his hair, he looks across at the shocked Domino and blows her a kiss.]

Sly: This is how it should be, just like this, the so called champ lies helpless at my feet, a child laying before the man!

[Sly gives Tanner a couple of hard kicks with his Italian loafers, then repolishes them with a silk handkerchief]

Sly: (Talking down to the prone Tanner) This is only a taste, a little appetizer before you get the main course and believe me punk the price is more than you are willing to pay, you've got something I want, I want your title and I'm gonna take it at No Man's Land. The future's bright baby, the future's Fondell!

[Sly walks over to Domino and stands in front of her, he looks into her eyes for a few seconds then softly strokes her face. Domino swats the hand away angrily.]

DOM: You ever touch me again, and you won’t be half the man you are now, if you catch my drift. WHERE THE HELL IS SECURITY?!

[Sly takes one last look at a now stirring Tanner, smirks again then leaves the office pushing past the security who have just burst through the door. The scene fades out as Domino tends to the unconscious Tanner as security flanks her.]

I want to say kudos to bother Tanner and Fondell for participating. They get mad bonus points for doing stuff like this.

And this is a reminder to all of you as a great example of what this fed can be, with a little participation. Do a strat, do a Livewire interview, attack someone backstage, hell, the possibilities are endless.

Remember, it's your creativity that make this place fun. Promos are the bread and butter of every fed, but the other stuff is what makes feds fun.

If you want to get your character involved but aren't sure how, just ask. We're here to help! :D

bumping this one back up, the start of the war between Tanner and Fondell.

Hard to believe nearly five whole years ago.

Good times. My favorite feud, with my favorite opponent.

I think i've said it before, but I really like this "weekly archive bumping" idea of yours, Sout.
