Bruno fell behind so I'm gong to play catch up here. Although maybe he didn't forget to update and just stopped posting because he realized nobody reads these. People would much rather bitch about Chris Masters sucking balls and discuss how bad a WWE ppv was (where there was that single decent match) rather than follow a great wrestling promotion where there was nothing to complain about. credit rohwrestling.com February 21st: New Ring Of Honor Tag Team Champions Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer have stated that their goal is to become the longest reigning ROH Tag Team Champions. Maff said, "The only one they'll get these belts is to pry them from our cold, dead bodies." Maff & Whitmer will defend the belts on 2/25 in Dayton, OH at the Montgomery County Fairground Coliseum against a team that earned a victory last time in Dayton, Jimmy Jacobs & Delirious. February 21st: Another huge match has been signed for 2/26 in Chicago Ridge, IL as hometown boy CM Punk will take on Jimmy Rave of The Embassy. Punk embarrassed The Embassy's leader Prince Nana last Saturday in New Jersey and now Nana is sending Rave after the leader of The Second City Saints. This coming weekend will be huge for Jimmy Rave as he takes on AJ Styles on Friday in Dayton and then Punk the next night. February 21st: The first ever women's Four Corner Survival has been signed for 2/25 in Dayton pitting Tracy Brooks vs. Lacey vs. Daizee Haze vs. Allison Danger. February 21st: Ring Of Honor would like to thank the 1200 fans in attendance on 2/19 that were on hand to celebrate our third birthday. The party is just getting started as the celebration continues this weekend in Dayton and Chicago. The hottest selling items at the ROH merchandise table are now available at ROHwrestling.com including the exclusive, new Japanese merchandise. This includes bobble head dolls and rare shirts for Kawada, Kobashi, Kojima, Misawa, Kenta, Great Muta, C.T.U., Nagata, Tiger Mask and others. You can't get this merchandise anywhere else!!! February 21st: There was a backstage meeting on 2/19 before the show between Jack Evans and Alex Shelley. You will see this meeting on the home release. Evans told Shelley that he was on the Austin Aries/Roderick Strong side and that Shelley better stay out of their business or he would get beatdown. Shelley cut a promo later in the night saying that he was wrong for trying to take shortcuts in 2004 and now he realizes his mistakes. He asked everyone to forgive him. Many members of the ROH locker room will not forgive Shelley for what he did in the past. Jimmy Jacobs is just one example. Shelley also stated that he wanted revenge on Strong and to take the World Title from Aries. February 21st: The 2/19 home release will be the biggest ROH home release ever. Not only will you see the entire 11 match "Third Anniversary Celebration Week: I" show, but there will be a lengthy ROH 3rd year memorable moments highlight package. There will also be lots and lots of promos and a parking lot brawl between Homicide and Bryan Danielson. February 21st: Roderick Strong injured his ankle in Scramble Cage. We will have an update soon on him. February 21st: Kevin Steen, El Generico and Vordell Walker were all on the "do" side of the 2/19 "Do Or Die IV" event and will be on future shows. February 21st: We will have Samoa Joe's reaction tomorrow right here at ROHwrestling.com to the fact that Austin Aries was the one that handed Mick Foley the chair on 1/15. Foley has recommended Aries to the WWE writing team. February 22nd: One more match has been signed for this Friday in Dayton. It will be a bonus attraction match as Homicide with Julius Smokes takes on Puma. This is Puma's chance to become a star in one night. The masked sensation Puma has a huge weekend with matches vs. Homicide and James Gibson. Could a star be born in one weekend? February 22nd: Jay Lethal has been pulled from the six man tag team tournament on 3/5 as he will be set for the biggest match of his life that night. Lethal came very close to winning the Pure Title from John Walters on 2/19. Many feel that the only reason Lethal didn't win was because he had to wrestle Jimmy Rave right before the Walters match. Lethal has submitted a petition for a rematch for the Pure Title and ROH officials quickly approved it. On March 5th in Philadelphia, PA at the National Guard Armory it will be John Walters defending the Pure Title vs. Jay Lethal!!! We will have word on Samoa Joe & Bryan Danielson's new partner for the six man tournament next week. February 22nd: The Carnage Crew of Loc & Devito and their partner BJ Whitmer have been pulled from the six man tournament due to the fact that The Carnage Crew are out of ROH for 90 days as a result of losing Scramble Cage on 2/19. They will be replaced by the team of Dunn, Marcos & El Generico. February 22nd: After reporting last week that Joey Matthews would be able to work in ROH, things have changed. Matthews will not be on the upcoming ROH shows. Fast Eddie will take his spot and team with Matt Sydal. The fan voting for the name of the tag team will still stand. February 22nd: There are several injuries to report from last Saturday's show. Roderick Strong suffered sprained ligaments in his ankle and knee. He will be on crutches for one week, but will be able to return to action on 3/5. Austin Aries and Colt Cabana were both very sore from the cage match, but they will both be ready to go this weekend. Jay Lethal also suffered bruised ribs, but will be 100% by 3/5. Samoa Joe had his jaw chipped by an Austin Aries elbow. February 22nd: Samoa Joe told ROHwrestling.com that Austin Aries better be ready because he is going to fight fire with fire. Joe is irate at the fact that Aries tried to take him out and aided Foley. This makes this Saturday's Aries vs. Joe World Title match in Chicago even more intense!!! February 22nd: This is such a huge news week that there will be two newswires today!!! We apologize for any problems you might have had with ROHwrestling.com over the past day, but we were switching to a larger server. You should not have any problems with the site now. The birthday party continues all this week at the ROH's offices, but its time to get to business with the latest news.... February 22nd: AJ Styles told ROH officials that this Friday in Dayton will be a very emotional night for him as he finally gets to step foot in a ROH ring for the first time in almost a year. Styles said it will also be emotional because he will be across the ring from a man he once considered his friend. AJ feels betrayed by Jimmy Rave and he has had the aggressions building up since 7/17/03 when Rave joined The Embassy. Now Styles will unleash all those months of aggression on Rave this Friday at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds Coliseum. February 22nd: The next tryouts for the ROH Wrestling School are Sunday, March 6th. The school is located outside of Philadelphia and CM Punk is the head trainer. ROH recently upgraded the school by adding new equipment including a gym. The first class of the ROH wrestling school has already had the opportunity to work in several different promotions including ROH. You will be prepared for the wrestling world when you graduate from the ROH Wrestling School. February 22nd: ROHwrestling.com now exclusively carries Full Impact Pro DVDs. The first FIP DVD has been released. It is a special two disc set of FIP's 16 man heavyweight title tournament for just $20. The tournament featured some great matches including first round bouts like Austin Aries vs. Roderick Strong, AJ Styles vs. Homicide, CM Punk vs. Vordell Walker, Jason Cross vs. Rainman, Jerrelle Clark vs. Slim J and more. Order now at ROHwrestling.com for immediate delivery. February 22nd: Prince Nana claims that a new member of The Embassy will debut this Friday in Dayton. Nana says he might have to add an additional tax on the citizens of Ghana, West Africa to pay for this new recruit. February 22nd: Generation Next offered Alex Shelley a chance to back out of his match this Saturday in Chicago against Jack Evans. Shelley refused and said that he wanted to stretch Evans. Generation Next leader and ROH World Champion Austin Aries said Shelley has signed his death certificate if he goes through with the match and gets into Generation Next business. February 22nd: Jim Cornette is very confident that he has the right men to finish the job on Bobby "The Brain" Heenan this Saturday in Chicago Ridge, IL at the Frontier Fieldhouse. We have been unable to figure out who Cornette has lined up, but we do know that it is someone on the current ROH roster. There is no telling what will happen on 2/26 when Heenan and Cornette come face-to-face again. This is history in the making!!! February 22nd: All the teams for next Saturday's six man tag team tournament in Philadelphia, PA have been announced. Samoa Joe was so impressed with Vordell Walker last Saturday that in a surprise he has chosen Walker to round out the Joe and Bryan Danielson team. This will be a huge opportunity for wrestling's hottest prospect. The first round matches will be announced next week right here at ROHwrestling.com. Each member of the winning team will be able to book themselves in any match that they want. General admission tickets are just $15 instead of the normal $20. The eight teams in no particular order are: -Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson & Vordell Walker -The indy dream team of Spanky, James Gibson (formerly Jamie Knoble in WWE) & Nigel McGuinness -The Rottweilers of Homicide, Ricky Reyes & Rocky Romero with Julius Smokes -Generation Next of ROH World Champ Austin Aries, Roderick Strong & Jack Evans -The Second City Saints & Extreme Horsemen combo of CM Punk, Steve Corino & Colt Cabana -Prince Nana's Embassy -The Ring Crew Express of Dunn & Marcos plus El Generico -From the first class of the ROH Wrestling School Davey Andrews, Shane Hagadorn & Anthony Franco February 24th: The party is still going strong at the ROH offices as we head into the huge double shot weekend to end the Third Anniversary Celebration Week. The offices will be closed until Monday since we will be at the shows. There will be tickets available at the door for both the Friday show in Dayton, OH and Saturday show in Chicago Ridge, IL. Check the upcoming events section of ROHwrestling.com for directions and more info. February 24th: Colt Cabana will hold a live "Good Times, Great Memories" this Saturday in his hometown of Chicago and the guest will be the legendary Bobby "The Brain" Heenan!!! This will take place in the ring during the show. You better believe Jim Cornette will be paying attention to this. Cornette says his mistake on 12/4 at "All Star Extravaganza II" was treating Heenan like an old man, Cornette says this time he's not going to pull any punches and he is treating it like it's "The Louisville Slugger" vs. "The Brain." February 24th: Samoa Joe stated on the 2/19 home release that his new goal is to be the first triple crown champion in ROH by holding the World, Pure and Tag Team titles. Joe has a chance to become ROH World Champion again this Saturday in Chicago when he faces Austin Aries in what many consider the biggest match of the Third Anniversary Celebration Week. This have been pretty quiet in the camp of Aries especially after his invitation to WWE's Smackdown taping last Tuesday. Mick Foley's call to the writers obviously paid off as Aries was asked to be at the tapings. ROH officials have been trying to get word from Aries on his future involvement with WWE, but Aries' camp has been hushed. February 24th: Joe and Aries will get a chance to soften each other up the night before on 2/25 in Dayton at the Montgomery County Fairground Coliseum. They will be part of a huge tag team main event when Joe teams with Bryan Danielson and Aries with Jack Evans. This will mark the first time Danielson steps foot in the ring with Aries in ROH since their legendary 75 minute match at "Testing The Limit." It is also the first time Danielson and Evans are in the same ring since Danielson twisted Evans like a pretzel at "Survival Of The Fittest." Evans says that he's going to teach Danielson a lesson this time. If Danielson is able to pin Aries, he will be in line for a World Title shot. February 24th: Before Danielson can worry about winning the World Title, he faces the possibility of being swept 3-0 by Homicide in their best of five series if he loses the Falls Count Anywhere match on 2/26 in Chicago at the Frontier Fieldhouse. Danielson and Homicide have been involved in some of the wildest brawls in ROH history. Their fights are fueled by hatred and intensity. There is no telling where the brawl will end up this Saturday. Homicide also says he's going to send a message to Danielson in Dayton. We aren't sure what he means by this. February 24th: James Gibson and Spanky are both really looking forward to their match Friday night in Dayton. They have both commented that their won't be any writers telling them what to do nor any agents telling them what not to do. They both look forward to testing their skills against each other with no limitations and tearing down the house. It is an important match for both men as they each need a win to get into title contention. February 24th: Everyone who has seen the new Straight Shootin' With Raven & Sandman has been raving about it. This is the most outrageous shoot interview ever. In fact, it isn't really an interview, but more of a conversation between these old friends. They hold nothing back in telling insane stories about drugs, girls and of course all the wild times in ECW. They also discuss their legendary feud. You will never look at ECW the same way after seeing this edition of ROH's Straight Shootin' Series. It is available now for immediate delivery at ROHwrestling.com. You will laugh, you will be entertained and you will be shocked with what you hear in this one!!! February 24th: Another match has been signed for 3/12 in Woodbridge, CT. ROH's New Haven area debut will have a huge tag team grudge match pitting Lacey's Special K of Izzy & Deranged vs. the other half of Special K in Dixie & Azrieal. The winners will get the Special K name!!! If you are interested in coming from NYC you can sit back and relax by taking a bus trip. Email Agentclpt@aol.com for info. February 24th: A few matches will be added to the Chicago area 2/26 event the night of the show. There will be at least nine matches. ROH Tag Team Champions Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer want to get Nigel McGuinness in the ring since McGuinness scored a pin on Whitmer last time in Chicago. The Tag Champs want to even the score. We'll find out exactly what the match is the night of the show. February 24th: We will be back on Monday with a huge newswire including the brackets for the six man tag team tournament next Saturday in Philadelphia. The eight teams were announced yesterday in the newswire at ROHwrestling.com. In the meantime, check out our authentic shirts from Japan. These are the real deal. All you have to do is look at the label to see that these shirts are the official ones as released by New Japan, All Japan and NOAH. We have exclusive shirts of some of the biggest stars in Japan as well as bobble head dolls and more items you won't find anywhere else. We have exclusive merch off all your favorites like Kawada, Misawa, Kojima, Kobashi, Muta, Kenta, Nagata and many others February 24th: One match not to overlooked is the women's Four Corner Survival in Dayton on 2/25. Lacey, Daizee Haze, Allison Danger and Tracey Brooks are looking to prove that there should be more women's wrestling in ROH. They are sure to pull out all the stops to prove that. This won't be any diva search. February 24th: Prince Nana wanted to use this space to let Second City Saint leader CM Punk know that Saturday in his hometown will be a night he'll never forget. February 28th: ROHwrestling.com will be back with a big Newswire tomorrow with all the ramifications from last weekend's incredible shows in Dayton and Chicago. The major news right now is that CM Punk has suffered a loss of vision from getting sprayed in the face by Jimmy Rave by what many thought was just the air freshener Rave uses in his ring entrances. In a promo at the end of the night that will air on the home release, Prince Nana reveals that Rave sprayed Punk in the eyes with poisonous bug spray. We will have an update on Punk later this week. February 28th: There are tryouts this Sunday for the next class of the ROH Wrestling School. The school is located just outside of Philadelphia. Email ROHhelp@aol.com if you are interested. The two semifinal winners will then meet in the finals. Each member of the winning team will get to book themselves in any match they want. February 28th: Since 3/5 in Philly is the night of the six mans another special non-tournament match has been added. This Saturday in Philadelphia will feature the return of Six Man Mayhem. The first three participants have been signed. They are Izzy, Azrieal and Kevin Steen. We will have the other three competitors later this week right here in the Newswire at ROHwrestling.com. February 28th: A Tag Team Title match has been signed for 3/12 in Woodbridge, CT. Colt Cabana & Nigel McGuinness, with help from Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, defeated ROH Tag Team Champions Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer, who were managed by Jim Cornette, last Saturday in a non-title match. The non-title win has earned Cabana & McGuinness a Tag Title shot and it will take place in the New Haven area on 3/12!!! We will have more big matches for this show later this week including James Gibson's opponent. March 2nd: The ROH office staff was talking today at the ROH offices and we have to admit that we were feeling really guilty that Dayton, Chicago and Elizabeth got to take part in the actual birthday celebration week while the place we started, Philadelphia, wasn't included. To reward the fans of Philly for three great years, ROH officials have decided to make this Saturday's show at the National Guard Armory in Philadelphia fan appreciation night. All GA tickets will be just $10 and they will be available at the door the night of the show!!! March 2nd: The 20-25% sale off just about everything at ROHwrestling.com continues until tomorrow night. Don't delay for big savings on ROH DVDs, live event tickets and more!!! March 2nd: Diablo Santiago of The Outcast Killaz will be out of action for 4-6 weeks due to injuries suffered at another independent show last weekend. Prince Nana has gone to great expense to replace him in the six man tag team tournament this Saturday. The Embassy team will now consist of Jimmy Rave, Oman Turtuga & Weapon Of Mask Destruction #3. March 2nd: ROH officials are currently in talks with New Japan LA Dojo officials about the eight participants in the Best Of American Super Juniors on 4/2 at the RexPlex in Elizabeth, NJ. Tickets are on sale now. Gary Michael Cappetta will announce some of the competitors at this Saturday's show in Philly. March 2nd: ROH officials have decided that there will be no time limit in Saturday's tournament matches to help insure that there will be clear winners and losers in every contest. March 2nd: This Saturday's Six Man Mayhem will be a very important bout for all six participants. B-Boy, Kevin Steen, Izzy, Azrieal, Deranged and Dixie are all potential breakout stars in 2005. This could be the start of something big for the winner of this match. In addition, B-Boy and Kevin Steen could secure a fulltime spot in ROH with a victory on 3/5 in Philly. March 2nd: March looks to be a huge month for the feud between Special K of Azrieal & Dixie and Lacey's Special K of Deranged, Izzy, Cheech & Cloudy. The factions will collide in the Six Man Mayhem on Saturday. The big match will be on 3/12 in Woodbridge, CT when Izzy & Deranged face Azrieal & Dixie with the winning team getting the rights to the Special K name. Special K is one of the hottest gimmicks in ROH history and an important part of ROH's growth. Now some of the men that made the Special K name will no longer be able to use it. March 4th: This Saturday is a huge night for wrestling in Philadelphia as there will be $10 general admission tickets at the door for the six man tag team tournament at the National Guard Armory. The building is located just minutes from I-95 as well as the PA & NJ Turnpikes making it an easy drive from all locations. Belltime will be 7:30. Check ROHwrestling.com or call 215-781-2500 for directions and more info. It is fan appreciation night for Philly as you are the fans that got us to our third anniversary so tickets are just $10!!! Tomorrow looks to be one of the most action packed nights in ROH history. March 4th: ROH officials have already stated that they want to insure clear winners and losers in tomorrow's tournament. The first step was having no time limit in the tournament matches to insure there would be no time limit draws. Now ROH officials have taken things a step further. Ring Of Honor guarantees a winner and loser in every match tomorrow. If there is a double DQ, countout or a match is thrown out for whatever reason, it will be restarted until there is a decisive winner. Philadelphia will see seven tournament matches tomorrow night for just $10!!! March 4th: One of the more exciting aspects of Saturday's tournament is all the possible first time or unique match ups within each bout. For instance, in the first round alone we'll see Samoa Joe vs. James Gibson for the first time. If you look at the match possibilities in the brackets you'll see there is an infinite amount of great match ups. Check the March 5th Events/Directions page at ROHwrestling.com for the brackets. For just $10 there is no telling what match up you'll see!!! It could be anything from ROH's hottest feud of Bryan Danielson vs. Homicide to a completely fresh match like Jack Evans vs. Vordell Walker. March 4th: Tickets go on sale today for ROH's debut in Long Island, NY. Check the main page of ROHwrestling.com for details. March 4th: CM Punk has been having vision problems all week, which we believe are very serious. Punk was sprayed in the eyes with poisonous bug spray last week in his hometown of Chicago by Jimmy Rave. Punk also has a pulled hamstring. However, Punk insists he will be wrestling tomorrow in Philadelphia (Saturday) in the six man tag team tournament teaming with Steve Corino & Colt Cabana. Punk insists that nothing will keep him from missing their first round match against The Embassy of Jimmy Rave, Oman Turtuga & Weapon Of Mask Destruction #3. Punk says he will get revenge on Rave by disfiguring him. March 4th: For those of you in New York City and New Jersey, don't forget WrestlingBusTrips.com is having an anniversary bus trip to the Philadelphia event for only $25 and that includes the ticket to the show. There will be pickups at the Modells behind the Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst, Queens at 3 PM, the Manhattan Center (311 West 34th Street) at 3:30 and the Rexplex in Elizabeth, New Jersey at 4 PM. For details and reservations, email AGENTCLPT@aol.com, but act now as the bus is nearly full! This is half off the normal price!!! March 4th: There are tryouts this Sunday for the next class of the ROH Wrestling School. The school is located just outside of Philadelphia. Email ROHhelp@aol.com if you are interested. March 4th: ROH merchandise will have a huge merchandise table at this Saturday's show. All the hottest selling DVDs will be available including Straight Shootin' with Raven & Sandman, Straight Shootin' with Jim Cornette & Bobby Heenan, 1/15/05 "It All Begins" (Bryan Danielson vs. Homicide I Quit match, Mick Foley/Samoa Joe confrontation, Spanky vs. Alex Shelley, Nigel McGuinness vs. Samoa Joe, Austin Aries vs. Colt Cabana, more) and FIP "Emergence" double DVD set featuring the entire 16 man FIP Heavyweight Title tournament with AJ Styles, Homicide, Austin Aries, CM Punk, Roderick Strong and many others. All these items are currently available at ROHwrestling.com. March 4th: Saturday night in Philly will be the biggest night of Jay Lethal's career. Lethal is touted by everyone in the wrestling business as a future superstar. He has even caught the eye of WWE and greatly impressed Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat. On Saturday, Lethal has a chance to win his first major title in ROH when he faces Pure Champion John Walters. Lethal came close to defeating Walters two weeks ago in New Jersey even after having to wrestle Walters right after fighting Jimmy Rave. Now Lethal won't have any handicaps as he faces John Walters one-on-one for the Pure Title. For just $10 you could see history made with the biggest victory of Jay Lethal's career. March 4th: The odds are in from Las Vegas for this Saturday's six man tag team tournament. It looks like it'll be hard to pick a winner in this one. Generation Next of Austin Aries, Roderick Strong & Jack Evans, The team of Steve Corino, CM Punk & Colt Cabana and The Rottweilers of Homicide, Ricky Reyes & Romero are all 2-1. The dream team of James Gibson (formerly Jamie Knoble), Spanky & Nigel McGuinness is 3-1. The combination of Samoa Joe, Bryan Danielson & Vordell Walker check in at 4-1. The Embassy are 10-1. The Ring Crew Express & El Generico are 35-1. The Students from the first graduating class of the ROH Wrestling School are 300-1. We have learned from international sources that Prince Nana took money out of Ghana, West Africa's education budget and bet it on The Embassy. March 6th: Since Homicide, Ricky Reyes & Rocky Romero won the six man tournament last night they each get to book themselves in any match that they want. Homicide has already selected a world title shot. Reyes & Romero have yet to select their matches. Homicide will challenge Austin Aries for the World Title on April 2nd at the RexPlex in Elizabeth, NJ. March 6th: Unfortunately, Bryan Danielson has been forced to cancel his appearance on this Saturday's event. Danielson and ROH would like to apologize for this cancellation. Danielson has agreed to appear on all future ROH shows. March 6th: Once news spread that Homicide was without an opponent on 3/12 in Woodbridge, CT, Roderick Strong was quick to sign the contract to face Homicide. It looks like Generation Next might be sending Strong to soften Homicide up for Aries. This will be a hard-hitting match when ROH debuts in the New Haven market. March 6th: This Saturday's show in Woodbridge, CT will be headlined by perhaps the biggest tag team match in ROH history as Samoa Joe & new ROH Pure Champion Jay Lethal team up to face CM Punk & Steve Corino. The winners of this match will get a ROH Tag Team Title shot on 4/2. This will mark the first time Punk and Joe oppose each other since their epic "All Star Extravaganza II" match. March 6th: Production is finishing up on the double disc/VHS set of the 2/19 "3rd Anniversary Show: I" event. This will check in at almost six hours as you will see the complete card plus lots of promos and backstage features. This home release will also include almost one hour of highlights featuring the most memorable moments of ROH's 3rd year. You can now preorder the VHS version at ROHwrestling.com. March 6th: There is lots of new merchandise of all kinds at ROHwrestling.com. You can now get Ring Of Honor Japanese style jackets!!! Also new are NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest Q&A Series: Tully Blanchard DVD, NWA Wrestling Legends Fanfest Q&A Series: Rock N Roll Express DVD and EWR Road to Glory/Brutal Carnage 12/19/04 & 1/8/05 double DVD set with AJ Styles, Kevin Steen and Christopher Daniels. ROHwrestling.com also has IWC's two new Best Of 2004 DVDs featuring lots of great matches with AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, CM Punk, Homicide, Samoa Joe, Chris Sabin, The Midnight Express and more!!! March 6th: The first four participants for the Best Of American Super Juniors tournament on 4/2 have been announced. Both ROH and New Japan officials agreed on these participants. They are "American Dragon" Bryan Danielson, James Gibson, Matt Sydal and the new Black Tiger. New Japan officials are not telling ROH officials who will be underneath the Back Tiger mask. March 7th: Many fans noticed that Jay Lethal was wearing protection on his eye in his match last Saturday. Lethal had suffered an attack by an unknown assailant backstage. No one saw who attacked Lethal. The attack caused Lethal's eye to swell shut. Lethal showed a lot of heart by still wanting to wrestle the match. In an incredible effort, he went on to defeat John Walters to win the Pure Title. There will be backstage footage of Lethal just after the attack on the 3/5 home release. ROH officials are currently trying to track down members of The Embassy for questioning. March 7th: However, ROH officials are having a hard time tracking down any members of The Embassy. CM Punk was relentless in trying to get his hands on Prince Nana and Jimmy Rave. As a result, Nana took all The Embassy members on his private jet back to one of his palaces in Ghana, West Africa. Nana is said to have the Ghana army guarding his residence in case of a CM Punk attack. On another note, we mentioned last week that Prince Nana took money out of Ghana's education budget to bet on The Embassy in the six man tournament. Nana lost his bet when The Embassy was eliminated in the first round. As a result, three schools in Ghana had to close. March 7th: There is a huge sale now at ROHwrestling.com where you can get free DVDs, tee-shirts and the new ROH jacket. Check the main page of ROHwrestling.com for more details. March 7th: CM Punk's vision problems were much improved by last Saturday's show. He has a scratched cornea and can't wear a contact lens in his left eye for three weeks. March 7th: Here is a statement by ROH owner Cary Silkin concerning the April 2nd show at the RexPlex. We will have more on the situation this week. "In regards to the situation involving the April 2nd ROH show at the Rexplex in Elizabeth just for the record we still have not been contacted about the status of the building in any way. The bottom line is Ring of Honor will have a show on April 2 in and will have it as close to the Elizabeth area as possible. The building is located just minutes from I-95. Cabana & McGuinness both seem destined for title belts and they could come this Saturday. Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer have been extra aggressive lately in their quest to become the longest reigning ROH Tag Team Champions ever. March 8th: In a surprising move Colt Cabana has signed up for a second match this Saturday in Woodbridge, CT at the CT Sports Center. Cabana wants to get singles victories so he can get back into singles title contention so he will face Delirious on March 12th in addition to teaming with Nigel McGuinness to challenge ROH Tag Team Champions Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer. Cabana says he won't stop at the Tag Titles as he wants singles titles as well. Cabana wants to become a double champion. March 8th: ROH has decided to pack up the steel cage and bring it to the Midwest for the first time on 5/13 in Dayton and 5/14 in Chicago. Both nights will see steel cage action. There is no telling right now what matche(s) you might see. Could we see a Scramble Cage in the Midwest? I am the first There is an explanation for it . I love to write, and i have done it in a semi-proffesional way before .Right now i lack the motivation ,and i hope that writing in here will bring that back . Although my expresivity is limited since this is not my native language . Anyway , as far as watching wrestling goes ,if there are any possibilities to watch something in the Net i would do it . Tv-wise i dont have any possibility. |

Well for about a year or two I was ewrestling and not watching regular wrestling at all (until HBK returned in 2002). And I think more recently Cobryn said he doesn't really watch wrestling anymore. It's not uncommon. Why not want to play off your own ideas instead of watching someone elses bad ones? |

March 14th Newswire March 14th: Samoa Joe & Pure Champion Jay Lethal defeated CM Punk & Spanky last Saturday to earn a shot at the ROH Tag Team Titles. The match will take place on 4/2 in Asbury Park, NJ when ROH Tag Team Champions Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer put the belts on the line vs. Joe & Lethal!!! March 14th: No one knows why Stevie Richards went after CM Punk last Saturday. The only thing that Richards told ROH officials is that he will be back. We aren't sure why especially since Richards is under WWE contract. We will find out when Richards returns to ROH later this week right here in the Newswire at ROHwrestling.com. March 14th: It's official!!! The 4/2 ROH World Champion Austin Aries vs. Homicide winner will defend the belt on 4/16 in the Boston area against the undefeated James Gibson. The 4/2 Aries vs. Homicide loser will face Bryan Danielson on 4/16. March 14th: Right now ROH officials are discussing the title petitions to determine who will get a shot at Jay Lethal's Pure Title on 4/16 in Boston. If Lethal & Samoa Joe win the Tag Titles on 4/2, Lethal will have to wrestle twice and defend both belts in the same night. March 14th: The 2/19 "Third Anniversary Celebration Week: Part 1" double VHS set is now out and ready for immediate delivery from ROHwrestling.com. This home release clocks in at over five hours and features roughly one hour of highlights, which includes clips from every show in ROH's 3rd year. There are also guest appearances on the home release by Jim Cornette and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. If you order by 3pm at ROHwrestling.com or by calling 215-781-2500 your order goes out that day. March 14th: There is no more Special K in ROH. Dixie & Azrieal won the name last Saturday by defeating Lacey's team of Izzy & Deranged. In an interview that will be seen on the home release, Dixie & Azrieal dropped the name. They said that Special K represents partying and they are serious about their careers now. Lacey has given her faction of Deranged, Izzy, Cheech and Cloudy a new name. They will now be known as Lacey's Angels. We are seeing Lacey's true colors now as she claims to be ROH's smartest businesswoman. March 14th: ROH officials have been able to rule out any members of The Embassy for the attack on Jay Lethal backstage on 3/5. Lethal was jumped by someone and had his eye badly swollen. ROH's investigation found that all members of The Embassy had an alibi as they were in Prince Nana's limo eating shrimp cocktails. ROH officials are still looking into the possibility that Nana paid someone to attack Lethal. March 14th: ROH officials have decided that the 4/2 New Japan USA Best Of American Super Juniors tournament matches will have no bearing on ROH records or title petitions since these are New Japan USA matches as sanctioned by the NWA. Tickets are now on sale for this huge event in the legendary Asbury Park Convention Center. The final two participants will be named this week in the Newswire at ROHwrestling.com. |

March 10th: Former ROH Pure Champion John Walters has quit Ring Of Honor. Walters insists he was ripped off when he lost the Pure Title to Jay Lethal last Saturday. Walters also sees no reason to return to ROH to face a crazed CM Punk. Prince Nana is supportive of Walters' decision and named him as Secretary Of Pugilistic Activity in Ghana, West Africa's government. March 10th: Dan Maff told ROHwrestling.com that Saturday in Woodbridge, CT isn't just any title defense for him and BJ Whitmer. They are treating this as the biggest match of their lives since they finally get to make a ROH Tag Team Title defense in the Northeast. Maff & Whitmer also want to beat a message into challengers Colt Cabana & Nigel McGuinness. The Tag Champs are embarrassed they lost a non-title match a couple of weeks ago to Cabana & McGuinness in a bout that involved managerial legends Jim Cornette and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Maff & Whitmer showed a newfound aggressiveness in their destruction of Jimmy Jacobs & Delirious in their first title defense two weeks ago in Dayton. It is obvious that they are determined to be prestigious champions. March 10th: The ROH World, Tag Team and Pure Titles will all be defended on April 16th when ROH returns to the Boston area. This Saturday's event in Woodbridge, CT will be crucial in determining who will get the title shots. Wins and losses mean everything particularly in Spanky vs. Jack Evans and Rocky Romero vs. James Gibson this Saturday in ROH's New Haven market debut. The CT Sports Center is just minutes from I-95 and an easy drive from Stamford, Hartford, Danbury, NYC, Boston and all points in between. March 10th: The sale at ROHwrestling.com where you can get free shirts, DVDs, sweatshirts and jackets ends tonight at 9pm. Check the main page of ROHwrestling.com for details. Among the new releases is EWR's "Road To Glory/Brutal Carnage" double DVD with the dream tag team match of Christopher Daniels & Excess vs. AJ Styles & Kevin Steen. March 10th: Check out an interview with ROH's booker at http://www.pwinsider.com/ViewArticle.asp?id=8771&p=1. This is the first interview to cover some internet rumors as well as some never before discussed details about ROH's future and past. There is also an important apology. March 10th: ROH World Champion Austin Aries will be making several international title defenses this weekend throughout Europe. Aries has sent Generation Next cohorts Roderick Strong and Jack Evans to soften up his next potential challengers this Saturday in Woodbridge, CT. Strong is looking to have his breakout match against Homicide on March 12th. Spanky is quickly moving into title contention and a loss to Jack Evans could derail him. Evans is riding a wave of momentum after pinning CM Punk last Saturday in the six man tournament. Spanky vs. Evans will make a very interesting first time ever match. March 11th: Tomorrow night's event in Woodbridge, CT has been titled "Back To Basics" as ROH presents a no frills show featuring only the top talent in fresh matches. ROH was built on letting the top talent have great matches. The March 12th event in the New Haven market will see this principle shine with never before seen in ROH bouts like Steve Corino & CM Punk vs. Samoa Joe & ROH Pure Champion Jay Lethal; James Gibson (formerly Jamie Knoble) vs. Rocky Romero; Jack Evans vs. Spanky; Homicide vs. Roderick Strong; Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer defend the Tag Titles vs. Colt Cabana & Nigel McGuinness; Deranged & Izzy vs. Dixie & Azrieal plus women's Four Corner Survival, Dunn & Marcos and more!!! There will be tickets available at the door at the CT Sports Center. Check ROHwrestling.com or CTsportscenter.com for directions and info. The building is located close to I-95 near New Haven and is just 35 minutes from Hartford and 40 minutes from Danbury. March 11th: ROH is proud to release the double VHS set of 2/19 "First Anniversary Celebration Week: Part 1" tomorrow at the Woodbridge event. This almost six hour home release features the entire 2/19 card plus lots of promos and around one hour of highlights from ROH's third year. There is at least one highlight from every show in ROH's 3rd year!!! This is sure to be a show of the year candidate with the Scramble Cage, Austin Aries' World Title defense vs. Colt Cabana in a Steel Cage, Bryan Danielson vs. Homicide in a Taped Fist match, Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer make history vs. Ricky Reyes & Rocky Romero, CM Punk vs. Spanky, Jimmy Jacobs vs. Alex Shelley, Jay Lethal battles The Embassy and much more including the can't miss Mick Foley/Samoa Joe segment. It will start shipping Monday at ROHwrestling.com. Order now for immediate delivery. March 11th: Spanky has told ROHwrestling.com that Jack Evans better not try any of his trash talking, break dancing shenanigans tomorrow night in Woodbridge, CT. The unique first time ever match of Spanky vs. Jack Evans could be the show stealer. If Spanky wins, he will be in line for a title shot. Can Jack Evans stop Spanky from challenging ROH World Champion Austin Aries? March 11th: James Gibson says he's looking forward to testing himself against Rocky Romero this Saturday in the New Haven area. Gibson said that it will be bittersweet to able to perform at his best with no limitations just 40 minutes from Stamford. March 11th: The April 2nd show will now be at the legendary Convention Center in Asbury Park, NJ. For all the details on the venue change go to the main page of ROHwrestling.com. Spanky and Roderick Strong have both been added to the Best Of American The Super Juniors Tournament that night. March 11th: There are beginning to be issues developing in ROH's women's division that could explode tomorrow night in Woodbridge, CT. Lacey wants to avenge her pinfall loss to Daizee Haze from Dayton. Allison Danger wants to avenge the fact that Daizee Haze almost caved in her face in Dayton on 2/25. Cindy Rogers wants to earn a spot in ROH. This won't be any Diva Search when these four women clash to determine who reigns supreme in ROH's women's division. Don't let their beauty distract you from the athleticism you are sure to witness tomorrow night as these competitors strive to prove that women's wrestling belongs in ROH!!! March 16th: ROH continues to give the best prospects in wrestling a chance to shine. Two of the hottest prospects have been signed for ROH's return to the Boston area on 4/16 in Dorchester, MA at the National Guard Armory. Kevin Steen and El Generico are set for their Boston area debuts that night!!! We'll have word on their opponents in the upcoming weeks. March 16th: ROH World Champion Austin Aries raised the international prestige of the ROH World Title last weekend by defending it in Austria and Switzerland. ROH officials gave Aries their blessing to miss the 3/12 event for this opportunity to further make the ROH belt a World Title. Aries is scheduled for all upcoming ROH events. March 16th: The buy three, get one free sale is back at ROHwrestling.com. Now for every three ROH shows, Straight Shoots and Secrets Of The Ring DVDs that you purchase you will get one free. Check the main page of ROHwrestling.com for details. This includes new releases like 1/15/05 "It All Begins" (which makes a great starting point for new ROH fans featuring Mick Foley's best ROH segment) and the red hot Straight Shootin' With Raven & The Sandman. You will never look at ECW the same way again after witnessing this shoot with unbelievable road, drug and party stories. This shoot is not for all audiences. Don't forget, if you order by 3pm at ROHwrestling.com your order is sent out that day. March 16th: Last Saturday's event in Woodbridge, CT was an example of ROH rewarding the fans for a great response. ROH entered the show with no intentions of returning to CT. However, after a strong walkup despite storm warnings and more importantly great crowd reactions, ROH booked a return date on the spot for July 16th. The CT crowd came to have fun and not over analyze things or yell smart comments to try to get themselves over and as a result the guys in the ring fed off that energy and went the extra mile to put on a truly memorable event. ROH officials always say that ROH will go as far as the fans take it and this is a prime example of that. Thank you Woodbridge!!! March 16th: Here is an updated talent list for ROH's debut in Manhattan on May 7th: ROH World Champion Austin Aries; ROH Pure Champion Jay Lethal; ROH Tag Team Champions Dan Maff & BJ Whitmer; Brooklyn's own Homicide & Julius Smokes; Samoa Joe; CM Punk; Colt Cabana; Alex Shelley; Roderick Strong & Jack Evans of Generation Next; James Gibson; Prince Nana's Embassy featuring Jimmy Rave; Nigel McGuinness; Lacey's Angels; Azrieal; Dixie; Dunn & Marcos with more to be added soon!!! All three ROH titles will be on the line in New York City!!! Tickets on sale now at ROHwrestling.com, by calling 215-781-2500 and Ticketmaster outlets. March 16th: There are talks within the ROH office now of doing one more Scramble Cage in the Midwest since that match type was never done there and then retiring the match for good due to the dangers of it. March 16th: Ring of Honor will have representatives in the UK this weekend for the gigantic Wrestling Channel "International Showdown" event at the Coventry Skydome on 3/19/05. We will also be at the fan convention during the afternoon. For details visit www.internationalshowdown.com. Ace Steel of the Second City Saints is scheduled to make his return to ROH and his hometown of Chicago that weekend!!! March 17th: Nigel McGuinness is said to be upset with Colt Cabana.
