Integrity: Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code. I've been efedding probably... well going on four years. In this time, the group of people I've become friends with have all grown to understand some unwritten rules. There was a time in fact in which there were no rules to efedding. Guys would attack other guys in promos... not verbally... I mean beat them up with a chair. Guys would have other guys talk in their promos... enemies making fools of themselves. Guys would rip off HHH or any other hot WWE star at the time and steal everything except their names... But through this... I'd like to think that most of us have learned that there is some sort of integrity to this game. The great players have always somewhat understood it I think. I guess my question is... Does a set of rules have to be explained to you for you to know that you are breaking rules? Or shouldnt everybody realize and understand that this is a game of originality and creativity within a world that needs to continually be recycled? I dont know... maybe this is a rant instead of a question. But it certainly should be a concern for anybody who feds, and has to deal with cheaters. This is like Efed's steroid issue. heh. Rant finished. I'd write more if I had the time... but I'd like to throw this up and see what others opinions are. |

i cant possibly see what these cheaters can get out of claiming someone else's work as there own its pathetic and swapping a few words around is even worse (if that possible) if your going to go to the trouble to change half the stuff and make it look like your own, why not go that step further and just write the whole thing from scratch, with your OWN ideas! as you may tell, we have found more cheaters here ... and yes WE ARE ONTO YOU! |

Oh boy someone else has been caught damn. Now on to the subject Heel I remember those days I use to do a lot of attacking but it was allways something between me and the other guy like me we would promo right after each other to finsh the whole scenario. But I think if anybody is new to the game then you should explain to them the rules but for those of us that have been doing this for some years then we allready understand howit goes. |

Cheating , that is a really awfull thing . Anyway in my job you learn to justify peoples actions , try to find the reason behind the reaction . Strangely enough i can look away /allow that to be . What i find disgusting , and i will never ever accept . Is the noob bashing /humiliation on OOc boards . I mean by the holy god , do some people forget that on the other side there is a human too? Which can at least ,be in the same height as you are when it comes to human worth? I will never be able to withstand that , doesnt matter how much i like the game concept . Just to be clear , i aint talking about anyone here . Anyway , back to the orginal point . Copying is a ridiculous and cheap thing to do, if you have no fresh ideas than take a break , or Keep up only one char !! Peace , you will always see me say what i think . At times you might like it , at times not . |

Actually the funny thing about "Noob bashing" is that it is a really good motivator. Either the person will pick their game up and become readable, or they leave. Both ways the people who have had to read their stuff with the Rosetta Stone to figure out what in the hell they are trying to say don't have to worry about them anymore. Plus there are times when a good Noob bash needs to happen. Some people come in and since they've been playing in feds that they themselves booked or one of their best friends booked they think they are the greatest and come in, busting up all the "unwritten laws" of e-fedding or even the ones that are written and then bitch when they aren't given a title in their second match. These nimrods need to get taken down a peg or two. Now if it's a kid who is starting off a rookie in the e-fed game then give them some time, and they'll get a clue. Hell look at Hunglow, he got better and better once he joined the UWA just because the opposition made him work at being better. If someone really likes the unreadable style that some federations prefer then more power to them, but I sure as hell don't want to deal with unreasonable egos. |

As far as it is in char , i have a really thick skin . And even if you are going ooc on your post i try to think you are not ! There is a difference between picking up on newcomers to motivate 'em, and attacking 'em everytime they try to say something on the forums. There is a difference betwen making fun of 'em in the promos just so they become better, and offending them everytime questioning their intelligence whenever they dont agree with you - throw critics at you- Make heavy fun of you in the promos just like you did with 'em . If a game accepts everything from their oldest members even if they break most policies around , and nothing from the newcomers , that comunity-game should stop considering itself an open comuntiy . So at least people will know and wont even attempt to become a part of it.... |

Some people cant take a joke. People who cant take a joke probably shouldnt be efedding. As far as bashing a new guy... I think theres a little bit of initiation in almost any fed. Its sort of like your freshman year playing Varsity football. You're going to hand out towels, your going to have to put Ben-Gay on your nuts, and your going to have to streak through the women's locker room. Or was that just me? Point is, new guys come in and they take a little crap a lot of times. Then they earn the respect of everybody else and its all good. As long as its in fun I dont think its been a problem. Its when guys take it too far. Ice and Sinclair was a good example... but I still think that was great reading. Heh. |

I think they cheat because they feel that they have a lot of competition and forget that this is about having fun. You have to work your way up slowly and even if you never become great at RP at least other efedders will get to know and appreciate the fact that you try and try and for that you will get respect IMO at least. |

*picture's heel streakng through the womens locker room well said bruno and i know you stated that your veiwpoints on noobs are not directed to us here at swat lupus, but just to clarify that we go out of our way to make new members welcome its then up to them where they go from there the honest truth is when a new person signs up to join the fed we know there is like only a 20% chance of them sticking it out, which is fine, we'll make it as easy as we can for them to fit in but when they start using other people's promo's ... no way .... they are gone, we have no time for them TURKEYS! |

I'm a guy that comes from a place were everyone creates their own RP's. I've been e-fedding for about three years, hell I started at the same time Phoenix did, but before that, I was doing para rping in yahoo and in there everyone thought up their own shit. That's how I became a top rp'er there. Soo if rping experience is a factor, I got a little over seven years rping experience. To think someone could be ripping off someone else's promo's is very insulting to me and it's insulting to anyone else who's been rping for a long time. If people can't create their own shit then they don't need to be in this game, they need to be somewere in the pokemon chat rooms or something, talking about how "coolies pikachu is". It's utterly pathetic to know someone can't take the time to write a simple damn promo, even if it's a few lines, there's plenty of e-fedders that write four and five lines. And if those two are watching, cheating, my friends is NOT the way to build your character or gain friends or popularity. Writing your own promo's will gain you respect, even if they're not winning promo's. People will still respect you because you tried being creative. Don't ruin yourself by taking someone else's work, it's not only disrespecting to them, but it also degrades you AND your character. I'm done. |
