Go to hell

I know this got a bit too long, but i just wanted to say that:

When i replied in here i never meant to say that people should handle someone with satin handgloves in their Roleplay promos , only because he is a newcomer.
No,critics are welcome to me, and everyone should welcome 'em.
Also everyone has the right to roleplay or attack me in his promo.

That is one of my points too . Where i come from some felt authorised to throw critics/diss someone in the rp board around in any shape or manner they felt like doing.
But if someone that was not part of their "Cilque" felt he had the right/skill to do the same he was ooc-ishly attacked. Even worse ..he was completely ignored.

Anyway the critics and Rp attacks were not much my point. I was talking about the way some people treat others in the comunity's forum, where you talk to the Persona in primis , not to the character.

In some places, you shouldnt even bother to take part in discussions happening in the forum , ESPECIALLY if what you thought differs from what the "cool" people think, or if your character doesn't meet their superficial idea of "coolness"

You will get "One lined" ,if any, with a tremendous snobism , you will get ignored and treated like dirt if you are new and have the courage to point out things you think are wrong.

Now saint tell me in which way the,
" That line was really dumb and sucked balls, and what made it even worse is that it came from a moron that uses anime pictures as avatars . Shut up kid"
would help you improve your Rp.

Those were the sort of things i was talking about all the time.

I do not agree with you in the " Results justify the action" , thats just a case. Tell me , if a woman becomes black belt in judo because she was misshandled , should that idiot that did what he did be the hero?

For me places like this are a small and neat hideout in which i do what i Love : I write and try to have fun times with people that share my same hobby
( and with fun times i mean the times in which you totally verbally destroy my character in your Rp, too)

Does simple education cost so much ? Am i asking too much when i say that people should respect eachother when they talk in the forums ?
Do different opinions neccesarily have to be a prelude to war and disrespect?

No, not fo me. Me and Saint have obviously different opinions about this matter, but i respect him for what he showed .
Not a single time did he try to offend/snob me out in his replies, and that means much for me.
I was able to write down my thoughts , and i wasn't dissed. And look there, someone even bothered to discuss with me/reply in a mature and calm way...
That shows much about this place , and rest assured that you respected yourslef in the first place by doing this.

We come here to have fun , and if someone wants so hardly to be Bret Hart or Shawn michaels, than more power to him for that is his idea of fun.
I will make him clear that he wont go far with that, but i wont try to break his will nor will i tell him that his human values suck because of that...

And i am sure that people try more and harder when they feel loved and respected , although criticised , than when all the matter becomes a measure of all your human worth's .
Its a game
Treat it the same .

Thnks guys , and i really mean it, for making me feel like i am part of this comunity.

-i guess its all from my side-

Queering don't make the world work.....

TKOW really has made progress guys... And I like to think thats from us busting their ass... I still dont think their great, but they are better...

And yes busting ass does have something to do with it. Remember Rated X? He busrted UWA daily. And I think thats one of the prime factors of why you guys improved so much.

And frankily, Coby busting my ass before I even knew I was in UWA, was one of the prime reasons I wanted to beat him so bad... Which is one of the prime reasons I went out of my way to ask for advice on what I was doing wrong. And had I not asked how to improve I never would have...

And I was horrible... I mean I was even worse than what Coby's turned into now. So yes, busting ass works.

I either improve or leave, it works every damn time.

Too bad some of you are too soft hearted to see it....

It has nothing to do with being soft-hearted. And it's not that black and white.

The way you describe it does not work for everyone. That might have worked for you, but I doubt that would have worked for me. I admit that if someone cuts a nasty promo on me, it's very easy to get motivated to respond, but that's not what we are talking about. We're talking about OOC crap. That shit just doesn't need to happen for any reason, IMO.

This comes down to people management skills, something I do every day. I motivate these people to do their job the best they can. If I thought that I could crack a whip to make them work faster, I would because it would make me more money and my company would grow as a result. Who wouldn't? But it's not that simple. You have to make people want to come here and stay here. If someone we invest time in quits, we just lost our investment, and more importantly that is lost money. Over time this is inevitable, but we can take steps to minimize it. If I did it the "bad cop" way, I'd be broke.

There are ways to push people without raking them over the coals. And if people are given a taste of success, it drives them to do more. We don't need to "help" them get better, they are ultimately in charge of helping themselves. We can help by nudging them the right way, but in the end it is up to them whether they want to improve or not. They are rewarded if they do, they are not if they don't.

THE KLIQ IS BACK PERIOD!!

When youre OOC you should respect each other no bashing or insulting especially if they disagree with what others feel or think. I mean discussion forums should be strictly OOC IMO. And to Soutter yeah he pretty much is in every fed around, lol. I remember those days but then they all started closing down.

When I first joined the eFedding groups, I was shocked at how vicious some of you guys can be. It may be that I was raised differently, grew up in a different (older) generation than most of you, or it could just be the fact that I'm the rare female in a male dominated group, (Yes, Bruno. I really am female. I'm not some guy pretending to be.) or all of the above.

Upon meeting anyone I give them a certain base/starting level of respect for just being a person. As I interact with them, that level increases or decreases.

Some people online, not necessarily you guys, are so disrespectful and impolite (to put it mildly) it makes me want to reach through my monitor and just bitchslap the snot out of them. It's like all rules of society are totally dropped just because it's the net.

In general I can see busting balls if you're friends. I also know not everyone has the patience of a saint to deal with someone who just constantly doesn't catch onto shit and therefore they get 'sharp' (shall I say?) responses in return, and some people just don't really give a shit what people think or at least make it out to be so, while others just enjoy stirring up as much trouble as they can.

I try to live by a couple rules, the main one being the Golden one as it basically covers everything, paraphrased, "Treat others as you wish to be treated."

You get respect by earning it. If you don't deserve it, you don't get it. I can respect someone's eFedding skills but not respect them as a person and vice versa, if that makes sense to any of you.

War zones are never fun to live in. I enjoy discussions and debates (even heated but controlled ones) but detest warring, excessive flaming (a little here and there doesn't bug me) and excessive rudeness/obscenity in interactions between individuals. I don't believe there is a true need for it. I see it as a lack of self-control/being an adult.

To drive a point home, the net is a way to also bring people together in person. I personally met my current best friend online and now she (Kijo) lives in my house, as well as another male friend I met online. That's because we got to know one another and built up that respect.

One day, if it's possible, I'd like to meet a few of YOU guys in person as well, if only just to say hi and see for myself in person who you really are... if you're brave enough. ;) :ph43r:
