THE KLIQ IS BACK PERIOD!!

The three-hour "Destination X" TNA Pay-Per-View is in the record books, and several major news items came from the epic event! JARRETT STILL CHAMPION - THE ALPHA MALE BETRAYS THE FANS In one of the most shocking turn of events in recent TNA history, Jeff Jarrett remained NWA World Heavyweight Champion on Sunday night thanks to the ultimate betrayal by The Alpha Male Monty Brown! Stationed at ringside as one of the TNA enforcers for the championship match, The Alpha Male destroyed DDP's World Title hopes after hitting him with the Pounce, allowing Jarrett to get the win. Apparently, Jarrett somehow got to The Alpha Male prior to the event, leading to a sickening alliance between the two superstars. Why did The Alpha Male help Jarrett retain the World Title? Why did The Alpha Male turn his back on the fans? Certainly, Monty Brown will have a lot to answer for this Friday on Impact on Fox Sports Net! Regardless, Jeff Jarrett remains NWA World Heavyweight Champion - thanks to the shocking actions of The Alpha Male! The main event match also saw the return of Sean Waltman, his first appearance since last month's Against All Odds Pay-Per-View. According to TNA management, Waltman will be appearing this Friday on Impact on Fox Sports Net. THE FALLEN ANGEL CHRISTOPHER DANIELS CROWNED NEW X CHAMPION The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels made good on his promise to become TNA X Division Champion, winning the Ultimate X Challenge in controversial fashion on Sunday night at Destination X. The innovative, high-wire bout came down to a rematch between The Phenomenal AJ Styles and Daniels, this time within the confines of the Ultimate X. Styles came down with the X Championship Title, but it was nothing short of highway robbery when Daniels stole the gold away from Styles behind the referee's back. Daniels becomes the new X Champion, but without a doubt the controversy surrounding the match will be addressed this Friday on Impact on Fox Sports Net. In other "Destination X" Pay-Per-View news: - In a wild and chaotic "Final Assault" match, Jeff Hardy was able to turn back the monster Abyss after hitting the Twist of Fate on Abyss on a steel ladder. However, following the bout Abyss mauled The Charismatic Enigma, giving him a Black Hole Slam into a pile of tacks! Hardy received medical attention following the bout to remove the tacks from his back, neck and head. - Team Canada defeated the combination of 3Live Kru's BG James and Konnan along with America's Most Wanted following interference by Team Canada Coach Scott D'Amore - In a bout added during the Pay-Per-View, Chris Sabin beat Chase Stevens of the Naturals, despite constant outside interference by Andy Douglas and Chris Candido. The bout also saw the debut of Mexican sensation "Shocker", who recently appeared in a series of McDonald's commercials. - The monster Trytan made his TNA debut, colliding with The Alpha Male Monty Brown earlier in the night. Unfortunately for The Alpha Male, Trytan mysteriously disappeared during the bout, leaving Brown to vent his anger on a masked man who entered the ring on behalf of Trytan. - "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash was able to split The Outlaw open in their "First Blood" match, but it was the underhanded tactics of Jeff Jarrett and a medical doctor that won the bout for The Outlaw. With the referee knocked cold, the doctor stopped the bleeding on The Outlaw, allowing Jarrett to bust open Nash with the NWA World Heavyweight Title as The Outlaw got the win. - Traci becomes the official Assistant for Director of Authority Dusty Rhodes, as her team of the Disciples of Destruction beat Trinity's team of Phi Delta Slam - Dustin Rhodes defeated Raven in their Bullrope Match after a top rope bulldog onto a steel chair. Following the bout, Team Canada hit the ring to attack Rhodes, but it was America's Most Wanted that backed up Dustin. |

I thought Trytan was Simon Diamond's new gimmick, but I was wrong. Trytan is just an Undertaker wannabe (tsk tsk tsk), like Abyss is a Mankind/Kane wannabe. TNA has many great wrestlers without a doubt, but they lack of imagination and originality (which is practically the same). Jeff Hardy/Abyss match was good, but I was expecting much more. I mean, it was a 'Falls Count Anywhere in Universal Studios' match, so I was hoping they would make it a bit different. Like Abyss slamming Jeff's head against the Universal Studios planet fountain. Nice suicide moonsault by Trinity. I hate the Basham... the Harris Brothers AKA Disciples of Destruction. Monty Brown's heel turn, more than unexpected, was non-sense. I'm not saying it was stupid until I hear the reasons behind it, but I bet that after knowing them, I'll say it was. I was expecting Jesse James to turn (and he partially did). I'm glad Jarrett didn't lose the title because it was against DDP. If Jarrett is going to lose the title to someone, I hope is someone new/young. Someone like Brown, Styles, Daniels, Harris or even Siaki. If I want to see old faces getting over, I watch the WWE. With Hogan, Piper and Austin coming back for WM and having Jannetty and Jake Roberts on RAW, that's enough for me. Young talent like Michael Shane, Shark Boy, Sonny Siaki and Apolo weren't booked for the PPV. With guys like Jarrett, DDP, Nash, Raven and Rhodes in their main events/PPV matches they dare to call themselves the new face of wrestling? Looks like the new face of wrestling has many warts. |

What is happening with Michael Shane's name is the following. The WWE recently signed The Shane Twins, a famous tag team in the independent circuit (especially in the East Coast), and they own the trademark of their names. Michael Shane has the bad luck that one of them is called Mike Shane, so TNA decided to stop using the "Michael Shane" name right away, before the WWE sues their X ass. It sucks, but that's how it is. |

Michael Shane, of course, it's not his real name. He made up that name because it sounds like an inverted Shawn Michaels (his uncle). About the Monty Brown/betrayal situation I talked about earlier. I was right, the whole angle is stupid. I knew I was right. And so is Hunglow, about TNA booking skills. Destination X was the worst TNA PPV I have seen (and I've seen them all), so shame on them. And the following Impact! was shit too. Weeks of building up Trytan, all for nothing. Weeks waiting for X-Pac, and they book him in a tag team match in a normal Impact! against two jobbers... shit. I'm disgusted. |
