MOLLY RELEASED TOO! - You thought the firing spree was over? Hah! Think again. Molly Holly received her pink slip today. Holly was on RAW yesterday and ended up doing the job for Playboy covergirl Christy Hemme. The former WWE women's champion has been with the company for the past five years debuting as the cousin of Hardcore and Crash Holly. The annual post-WrestleMania firings looks like it is on the way full speed ahead.... > AND AARON 'JESUS' AGUILERA GONE AS WELL! - Carlito's sidekick Aaron Aguilera, who performed on Smackdown! as Jesus, has been let go from the company and just like Matt Hardy, he was sidelined with an injury and has been out of WWE since December. After his quick match with Cena at the Armageddon PPV, Aguilera underwent neck surgery and stayed out of the picture ever since. Aguilera was in Los Angeles for WrestleMania week and even was at the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla show which was held nearby that weekend as a spectator with a couple of more WWE Superstars. |

I wouldn't list Jesus as a major casualty. It's like when they fired Kronik. Not that much of a loss. |

I disagree. Cena vs Jesus > Kronik vs Brothers of Destruction |

HOLLY ASKS OUT - Details are emerging that Molly Holly asked to be released from the company rather than being victim of the post-WrestleMania cuts. Unhappy with the direction her character was recently moving towards to, Holly met with WWE officials on Monday at the site of RAW and both parties worked out a solution. Her last match in the company was on RAW on Monday night shortly before her release, jobbing to Christy Hemme in a tag team match. |

I don't believe a wrestler (especially a female wrestler) would ask to be released earning all the money they get. |

They (meaning the women) don't make as much as you think. I've read that Trish is the only real moneymaker, and even then she's more in line with the midcarders. I would guess that Molly made $70-80K per year. Over the years, she has watched the women's division go from legit wrestling matches to a circus sideshow. She was really the only woman, other than Victoria, who I felt was a legit wrestler. She's been slowly phased out from dominant women's champ to jobber to Diva Talent Search winner in under 2 years. No wonder she quit. To be honest, I am surprised she lasted this long, because of that and the fact that she is devoutly religious (which in the world of pro wrestling is amazing in and of itself). Not a good fit in the world of pro wrestling. |

I still think 70-80k annually is pretty good, especially when there's no other big pro-wrestling company around and when she doesn't wrestle every show. |

Maybe she was tired of being phased out by all the other dumb bimbos. I mean remember watching th special some years back when she was trying to be a wrestler with Elix Skipper. |
