There pretty much the same but with Ipods you get more space for songs for a better price. Some of the mp3 palyers are about £300 dunno how much in dollars and you can get 1000 songs on them. Ipods are between £200-300 and the small 20gb can hold 5000 songs even Ipod minis hold 5000 but there more expensive. Or you can shell out about £400 for the 40bg version which holds 10000 songs. Plus with Ipods you get the added bonus of getting Itunes with it which is a much better program the windows, it burns cd's in half the time. If i where you i would go for the Ipod, it wins hands down. |

Ipod is a joke. You pay a buck for each song, so if you dl 5000 songs you gotta pay $5000. I went the Napster creative Zen route. 14 bucks a month, unlimited dl's to your player. |

What? You only have pay if you buy songs from the apple music store and other places like napster. But you don't have to use those songs....You can download them from other place's which are free or just get erm off cd's(which i'm sure your no) Itunes works like most programs you get with mini disc/mp3 players. You download your songs from where ever or get your cds and put the songs you want onto the computer, then put them into the program them load them on to your ipod simple(again i'm sure you no this) Itunes just comes with a link to the apple music but you don't have to use it. I've got about 1000 songs on my Ipod, half of which i've downloaded and the only thing i had to pay for was the Ipod its self. |

Do not use itunes unless you want to deal with encryption on the mp3s you download. The client goes through your ENTIRE computer and encrypts EVERY MP3 on your hard drive so that you can't play it without thier player. Napster is advertising "Unlimited downloads for 15 bucks a month" But I"m not sure how much you get with it and the conditions. (No mp3 player.. well, I kind of have one, but it's a long story.) And ther'es plenty of cool MP3s aviable for legal download. I suggest Machinae supremacy for starters. I"m considering changing my theme to one of thier works. Oh, and the Machinae supremacy above is a hyperlink.. easy access.. (edit) |

Indeed. I didn't know that for ages but personally i didn't care because you could still play erm and get them on your Ipod, that's all that matters. If you get an mp3 simple dont get Itunes lol
I still think Itunes is a better player as i said burning cd's is much faster then windows. My friend has an Apple mac and he kept saying Apple programs have always been better then microsoft, now i'm starting to beleive him. Its just the price of Apple put people off.I'm not a big mp3 fan even since the first mp3s i still kept with my cd player that's how crap they really where but they have made massive improvments on that and there are indeed a few good modles out. Anyway i still say go for the Ipod if you wanna go for an mp3 fine there pretty much the same anyway. |
