I am a user of foxfire/mozilla... No pop-ups. None, zero, zilche...even on those internet wrestling dirt sheet web sites. Plus it makes surffing online so much easier with the tabs. If you do have it, get it. Of course the plug in thing is annoying at first, but once everything is plugged it, it is gold. Icant believe i ever used internet explorer. |

I feel the same way. Once you use Firefox, you will be stunned that you went this long with IE. No pop-ups, and most importantly, no security flaws. And the plg-ins are actuially more handy because you can customize them more. The only drawback is getting onto Microsoft sites for download. They won't read anything except IE because they want to "validate" your IP. Buillshit. |

I've never had a problem with that either. But to be safe, download the best spybuster on the net- MS AntiSpyware. Even in beta, that thing is better than Spybot, Adaware, and Hijack This! combined. |

Yeah Firefox is suppose to be very protected from spyware. I use both IE and firefox. I use Firefox if I am just serfing the net or something but sometimes I have to use IE like when I am editing a website or something because a lot of sites are still only working good for IE. Firefox does have a lot of perks to it though. With IE I usually have like 5 windows open just looking at differant stuff but firefox is cool because you can have them all right there in one window. |

I mostly use firefox with the occasional fallback to Exploder when a webpage is incompatable. (fraking fileplanet, we hates you...) And while it's true that you get less popups with firefox people are starting to get smart and work thier way around the blocker. It's just a matter of time until you get spammed again... |

FireFox and Opera are both solid browsers, however they slow older PCs down. |
