Hey, thought I'd pop by for question, guys. And since I can't post this on PW.com for the simple fact that the crybaby mods call it "illegal", then I figured I'd go here. Probably get a more acurate response anyways. So, question is, does anyone know where I can get a good, reliable, free bit torrent program download without having to buy a membership to a site? Hung gave me one a while back but it never worked for my Mac and I lost the site. But now I've got a new LT so I figured I'd give it another try. Oh, also, if someone could provide that website where you can get all the wrestling matches too, that'd be great. Thanks in advance! EDIT: Also, has anyone ever had any virus problems with this (meaning Bit Torrent or it's downloads) ? |

I thought I would try bit torrent, but the ones I always tried to download from were painfully slow. I got bored with trying to find it. And yes, anytime you establish a P2P (which is basically what it is) you are risking your comp to all the standard malware, i.e. virii, spyware, etc. But...not as much as a standard P2P connection, however. Think a less invasive version of Kazaa. I think, equipped with the proper antispyware, firewall, and antivirus programs, you won't have an issue. Not that I condone any of this, of course... :ph43r: |

Yeah the only protection I have right now are the microsoft updates and Norton antivirus, althought the Norton is working great. So, I don't know if I should download it or not, but thanks to everyone who could help out. |

I use Sharazza as it's a "All in one" file stealing tool.. though if you do use it you would do well to read the troubleshooting part of the website. It's taken me some tweaking to get good downloads. Should be the same with any PTP program... |
