** Basic Info ** [1] Your name: Tim [2] Your e-mail: ironman.inc@hotmail.com [3] Wrestler's Name: "The Iron Man" Calvin St. James [4] Height: 6' 5" [5] Weight: 275lbs. [6] Date of Birth: June 10th, 1981 [7] Hometown as announced when wrestling: Dallas, Texas [8] Heel or Face: Either but usually face. [9] Manager/Valet with description (optional): N/A (for now. This could change if I decide to use CSJ's fiancee' later) [10] Theme Song (with description of ring entrance included): Hunt You Down by Saliva **The lights go down as strobes go off all in time with the opening riffs of Hunt You Down by Saliva. On the pause, a huge blast of pyro goes off on stage as Calvin comes through the curtain. He stands at the top of the entrance and looks out at the crowd before raising his fist in the air as a huge 5 second display of machine gun pyros goes off behind him. He smiles as he walks down to the ring, shaking hands and interacting with the fans before climbing the steps and walking across the apron, climbing the turnbuckle and raising his fist in the air once more, flashbulbs going off everywhere as a stream of white pyros runs down the entrance ramp to the ring. He jumps down and stands in the middle of the ring as the four posts explode in silver sparks and waits for his opponent.** ** Appearance Info ** [1] Describe your wrestler's physical appearance (i.e., race, hair color, scars, facial hair, physical built, etc.): Calvin is white with dark brown hair and eyes. He has a finely trimmed beard and is muscular. I use The Rock as his rep, except that he isn't black. Pretty basic stuff though. If you need more let me know. [2] Describe your wrestler's ring attire: Red Wrestling shorts with black fingerless gloves, red knee pads and black boots. Back of his trunks have IRON MAN with a logo on it. [3] Does your wrestler wear or carry anything that he leaves at ringside when wrestling? Usually wears the latest IRON MAN T-Shirt or tank top. I will send you some more details for this as well. ** In-Depth Info ** [1] What makes this character unique? He is who he is. Has been seen as THE classic face. He's a man who has a massive passion for the game and for passing on his knowledge and passion to others. He's an excellent businessman as well. A lot of guys do this and try to turn their characters into these multi million dollar execs who wouldnt realistically have time to be the wrestler they portray. Calvin has a business "umbrella" called Game Seven Enterprises that owns a few different businesses. But his passion is for wrestling and thats where he focuses. He owns and runs the Classic Pro Wrestling Federation and is currently, in his off time, working on getting its show, Texas State Wrestling underway. But the CPWF sounds more than it is. Think of it as a "Dojo" and an "indy" company mixed together. Its all about the training and when Cal isnt wrestling or doing his PWO GM duties, hes working at the dojo. Basically, there's your blown up businessmen worth untold millions and then there's reality. Calvin is, if I can borrow a term, "The People's Champ." He's all about the fans, the business and sacrificing himself for the good of the company and the business. More on that below. [2] Wrestler's attitude/personality: The Classic Face . . . Calvin is what you'd expect as the classic face and more. he's not generic by any means and has a brilliant wrestling mind, both in the ring and behind the scenes. He's very self-sacrificing and has a work ethic beyond belief and some would say, reason. He's the guy that will make the save any where, any time if needed. He's a natural born leader with a charismatic presence that even Chuck Norris would get behind. His in ring skills are top notch and he has a craftiness matched by few. He also has a cold / calculating streak that, when provoked (usually in extreme situations like an attack on family, etc) has proven to be the undoing of a few people. He's good natured most times, fun to be around, the life of the party and very humorous. He's also seen by many as a down to earth, proven mentor. He's wise and has a unparalled judgement of people and situations. He's patient beyond belief but can be driven beyond that and when he is, will show a seething temper that saw the retirement of two different wrestlers. He's considered a legend in may circles and never backs down from a fight, even if the odds are heavy against him. His flaw though comes through with his self-sacrificing attitude. For instance, in the ring, he's actually jumped off a high entrance set to take out one of his most hated rivals back in the IHW. He ended up being sidelined for 2 months and his justification was that the man he took out was sidelined twice as long. Backstage/out of the ring, he will run himself literally into the ground to help and lead. With the fans, he will sacrifice himself and his personal time to make sure every single person gets an autograph and a handshake. It was reported once that he and his fiancee went out for a shopping trip that took them 11 hours to complete. He's wholeheartedly devoted to the business, to the fans, to the company and to his family. I think that about covers it lol. [3] How many years of professional wrestling experience does your wrestler have? (pro/non pro?) 5 years pro / 3 years non pro [4] Strength and weaknesses. Please include a balance of at least three strengths and three weaknesses. Strengths: 1. Literal Ring General: Rarely if ever makes mistakes in the ring and has a brilliant in ring mind. 2. Nearly Unkillable: He is almost impossible to put away. He can take a beating like none other and still get on his feet. 3. Charismatic as Hell: As a fan favorite, he is THE Fan Favorite. He can make even the toughest critics turn out to be his biggest fans. Weaknesses: 1. Self-Sacrificing - Has been known to throw himself into the mix to save someone, usually someone thats important to him, and has been injured for it before. 2. Temper - Long fuse, HUGE bang . . . When he reaches his boiling point, as mentioned above, he ends up in sort of a blinding rage and throws caution and sometimes sense to the wind to get what or who he's after. 3. Charismatic as Hell: Is a strength and a weakness due to the fact in the negative side, he tends to offend those in power who don't eye to eye with him on things very easily. He once got fired for it and nearly cost himself his career. [4] Summary of experience/history. Please be descriptive. This is the most important segment of the application. S.W.A.T. Midwest is a story-based federation, and as such, every character needs a story. In addition, please list all titles and/or accolades this character has won or achieved in the past as well. I'm going to give you the link to the Wiki page for Iron Man. Its a lot easier than trying to add it all here again. I hope thats ok. Note as well that "The Iron Man" Calvin St. James and "The Iron Man" Jimmy Ice are one and the same. Calvin St. James is techincally a "ring name" that Jimmy Ice wrestled under in the PWO when he first started and its sort of stuck ever since. http://ewrestling.wikia.com/wiki/The_Iron_Man_Jimmy_Ice This has a bio/experience, awards and titles and all that. ** Wrestler Make ** [1] What is the name of your wrestler's finisher(s)? (No more than two are allowed.) 1. Calvin's Cross 2. Cold & Critical [2] Description of the finisher(s): 1. Cold & Critical: Uranage Suplex (Rock Bottom) 2. Calvin's Cross: Lifts or catches his opponent like a Samoan Drop but instead hits a standing back suplex, driving the opponent onto their neck, into the mat from any position. e.g - Standing opponent, opponent jumping off the ropes, etc. A knockout blow. As he lands the move, Iron Man uses the momentum to flip himself over, using his body to hold his opponent down for the pin. [3] What are the situations in which your wrestler could perform the move(s)? 1. Calvin's Cross: Any situation. 2. Cold & Critical: Standing, opponent bent over, opponent dazed, opponent jumping off the ropes (rare) [4] How can it be countered? 1. Calvin's Cross: Opponent shakes free and hits a neckbreaker 2. Cold & Critical: Opponent elbows Calvin in the head and hits a standing move or Opponent leaps out of the lift and hits a standing move. [5] What is your wrestler's overall style (examples: technician, brawler, high flyer, luchador, fighter, shooter, etc)?: Fighter/Technician/Submission - a Balanced mixed of straight up fighting and in ring tactics wth a penchant for submission. [6] And not to limit your style but what Pro Wrestler does your wrestler most resemble? If not one, what mix of wrestlers? (optional): The Rock [7] List 15 (or more) non-basic moves that your wrestler will use regularly (and ones which fit his style!): 1.
