WWE announcer Jim Ross says he will not be at the Bragging Rights PPV on Sunday and his future as an announcer is currently in question. Ross visited a neurologist in Oklahoma today to determine that he did have a "full blown Bell's palsy" attack earlier this week when he was traveling for the Smackdown TV taping. "My timeline on returning to work is unknown as I write this," Ross said on jrsbarbq.com in an update on his health. "I wish it was going to be this Sunday in Pittsburgh as I wanted to be a part of Bragging Rights on PPV." Ross said he is scheduled for an MRI on Friday to determine if there was any damage to his brain during his third attack. He said he can talk out of the left side of his mouth, but his face has drooped on the right side. "So the fight continues. I will overcome this challenge just as I have before," Ross said. "My love for the fans and for the business and those that make the wrestling business so much fun to be a part of plus my faith will lead me back to ringside when the time is right and it is meant to be." |

You've got to respect a man who finds time to shill the PPV in between talking about his career-threatening Bell's Palsy. |
