If this is your first time here, or you're one of the many returning from our long break, please feel free to introduce yourself to the crowd. It's always good to see fresh faces in our humble little writer's group, so let me be the first to welcome you. I'd give you a fishy stick, but I hear that's frowned upon these days.

I suppose I'll start then, because I'm just as guilty of leaving as anyone else. I am Darkom, for those of you that don't know me, or Aaron, if you'd prefer. I'm an amateur writers and story critic, and have been lurking around on the Bethesda forums for about two and a half years now. I'm also an avid roleplayer, and my favorite genre is, of course, fantasy. Outside of the internet, I mainly run cross country and am a student of Karate. I'm also a Boy Scout, I've been in Scouting most of my life, and besides running and reading my favorite hobby is playing the ancient game of Go. For those of you that don't know, Go is a classic Japanese board game; the Asian equivelant of Chess, really. Fascinating game, if anyone is interested.

Anyway, enough about me. What about you all? I know some of you, but I've already seen a few new faces hanging around.

Hey everybody! I'm Aubrey (a.k.a. aSaPp!5@ on the BGSF). I'm your new Head Moderator! Yay!! haha

Anyways I'm an amateur Roleplayer and soon to be Fan Fiction writer. Woolymammoth dragged me into all this sometime last fall and so far I'm having a lot of fun with it. Other than doing doing all of this I participate in Track and Field, Golf and probably Basketball (haven't decided if I want to join the team yet). Other than than that I like to fish, hunt, swim, make things explode, play guitar and piano, listen to music and play video games. Yo hablo espanol y tengo un gato grande en mi pantalones. Ich nicht spreche deutsch sehr gut.

Hello all. I'm Ambrose51, though feel free to just call me David, Dave, or whatever you prefer. I too lurk and write on the Bethesda forums (though I lurk far more than I write), and I fancy myself a critic every now and then as well. I also tend to lurk on various other writing forums, particularly the fanfiction section of the Beast's Lair, which is a forum for Type-Moon. It's nice, but also a den of trolls, and so is not for the unprepared.

I'm a psychology major with a focus in forensic psychology and criminology, so expect all of my characters to have some problem or another. I seem to have a tendency to gravitate towards psychosis...

In my free time, I read. A lot. And listen to music of all sorts except country, which I can't stand. I play video games when I have the time, both on my PC and on my new, shiny PS3. Which I totally picked a bad time to buy. I don't play sports, though I wouldn't embarrass myself at basketball, and I do watch football. (Go Dolphins! You'll win eventually!) I also like to study language, mythology, and history of all sorts. Mostly though, I just like reading fiction, usually of the fantasy variety, though I'm not opposed to sci-fi.

So, that's about it. As has already been said, welcome to all, old and new.

But mostly? The assorted plans at play here would be going very, very wrong due to the actions of a no-name, no-count, utterly talentless Magus by the name of Shirou Emiya. He had no magic worth mentioning, no combat experience of note, and no plan for or knowledge of the War he was about to enter. He did, however, have one trait that had derailed a countless number of such grand, far-reaching schemes throughout history.

You see, he really, really wanted to be a hero. -(Best description of the start of a Fate novel ever.)

Hello, I am Redsrock over at BGSF. I recognize some of you. Darkom invited me and of course I obliged. With work, two puppies and my own writing, I can't promise a lot of anything, but I'll definitely read/leave feedback to writing whenever I can, and of course post my own stuff. :)

EDIT: Wait... I forgot I already had an account! haha I like this one better, though. :/

Hello, I'm blademaster, but you can also call me Obi-Wan, Iron Man, Mr. Mxyzptlk, and of course, Big Papa Smurf.

I'm from Canada, as some may know. Er, I suppose I read a lot, else I wouldn't really be on here much. I mainly read history but I've read a bit of sci-fi/fantasy and some biographies as well. I'm double majoring in Classics and History, so basically I plan on being unemployed for the majority of my adult life.

I play hockey, both ice and ball, though I'm terribly out of shape and I enjoy a round or two of golf every week, weather permitting-- which in my city, is about two months of the year. I also watch football, both of the American and Canadian variety (and European come to think of it if I have time). Use to play baseball as well, but I have the shoulders of a ninety year old man after pitching so I had to quit :(

I'm likely not as language proficient as some of you, but other than English, as a Canadian I'm required to learn French but I've forgotten (voluntarily) most of it. I also learned to read/write/speak Homeric greek last year for the hell of it though it's just the basics.

Thanks for the invite Darkom :)

Good to see you, Blade, glad you decided to join us.

Well, I'm back from my weeklong hiatus at summer camp and am ready to commence posting. I'm very happy to see the forum's been active while I was gone; there are quite a few stories I have to read. :P I encourage everyone to read other's works and offer constructive advice, which I will also be doing shortly.

Hello everybody, I figured I may as well get around to introducing myself.

I'm Jason Sage, and Sage is not my real last name. I have other aliases on the internet and abroad, but if I told you what they were, I would have to kill you.

I have given up on (or chosen not to go about) pursuing writing as a career. Instead I do programming and mathematics. However, I love language and the art of writing, and I still enjoy writing on occasion.

Likewise, I've been semi-absent towards the end of this past week and the weekend, but I'm back now, hopefully for good. Glad to see everybody is getting along!

You play golf? That's pretty awesome. I never have the time to get out to the course unless it's during the season (I'm on my schools golf team).

Hello all, I'm Duke Smugleaf. Darkom recruited me from The Elder Scrolls Fan Union. Go check it out. It's awesome, and it needs a little help in the member department. While you're at it, why don't you also take a look at The Pokémon Trainer's Corner, if you're into that sort of thing.

Anyways, with the shameless plugs out of the way, I came here for RP, but I'll look through the rest of the forum, too. It seems like it could be interesting.

As for a bit about me, I'm a huge nerd. I also love a good joke and am rarely serious about anything. There's more to say, I'm sure, but I don't want to say much more. Mysteries are always nice, aren't they? :P

Good to see you here man, though I already sent a link to you guys in another thread.

By the way, I don't mean to be that guy, but is there any other sig picture you'd want to use? I don't mind, myself, but we have to draw the line somewhere. Not a big deal, just saying. Thanks.

Eh, I'll end up saying "fuck," anyways. Hell, I've already said it in other posts. I'm just a guy who swears; that's who I am. Though, if it really bothers you, I'll replace it with something else. I've got plenty of other signatures.
