I don't know about you all, but one of my favorite things to do is watch stand up comedy. There are so many funny people out there, I could sit for hours laughing at some of the jokes these comedians have. Some of the best, in my opinion, are people like Eddie Murphy (80's Eddie Murphy, mind you), Jim Gaffigan, and Mitch Hedberg. My favorite by far, however, is a British man by the name of Eddie Izzard. His most famous show, Dress to Kill, has some of the best, most quotable lines I've ever heard.

What are some of your favorite comedians? Post a link to a video if you like, just please nothing too raunchy. I'll laugh at just about anything, but there are some comedians that just go way too far.

My favorite comedian is David So. He mostly does stand-up, though he's done some shorts as well. You can find him on youtube.

But mostly? The assorted plans at play here would be going very, very wrong due to the actions of a no-name, no-count, utterly talentless Magus by the name of Shirou Emiya. He had no magic worth mentioning, no combat experience of note, and no plan for or knowledge of the War he was about to enter. He did, however, have one trait that had derailed a countless number of such grand, far-reaching schemes throughout history.

You see, he really, really wanted to be a hero. -(Best description of the start of a Fate novel ever.)

Robin Williams has some hilarious stuff. So does Dave Chappelle and Katt Williams. However I think all comedians are funny and I can't really pick a favorite.

Excellent, haha. :P Very funny, I'm sure my Asian friends will enjoy it as much as I have.

And yeah, Robin Williams was good. A little crazy at times, but fast paced and hilarious throughout.

I have to agree, not just because he was so funny (which obviously helps) but because he's actually a really smart guy. Not that it keeps him from dropping into more low brow stuff, hehe

David So isn't my favorite, but he is awesome. Ambrose introduced me to him.

George Carlin is a little odd, but hilarious. His biting, sarcastic humor, poking fun at establishments like religion are great. It manages to be intelligent, but at the same time entertaining. :P

I'm curious though, what does everyone think about Daniel Tosh? He's become far more popular now that Tosh.0 is on, but I think he's relying on the videos too much. It's not really him being funny most of the time, though he has some hilarious skits. Not as intelligent as some comedians, but it definitely has a certain low brow satisfaction.

I've heard of the name "Tosh.0," but that's it. I have no idea who he is, and I didn't even know that Tosh.0 was named after a comedian.

Really? It's quite famous around here. It's basically a comedian, Daniel Tosh, making jokes about youtube videos while standing in front of a greenscreened background. He also does skits, viewer videos, and something he calls "Web Redemptions", where he finds people that made fools of themselves and gives them another shot at whatever they were trying to do, usually in a comedic way. It's pretty funny, but way too conformist for cool kids like me. :P

Oh, I see now. He's one of those moron who substitutes the internet for an actual sense of humor.

Dylan Moran is pretty good. You may know him from the show 'Black Books'.
