Well, at the moment we're trying to keep it fairly easy paced by keeping the number to about eight, but once we get going we might be able to add a little. It all depends on everyone's schedule and how often they can post, really. With school starting up for a lot of us there will be a lot less time to spend RPing; however, once we get back into the routine we should be able to keep a steady level of activity. So to answer your question, I'd say we'll have to wait and see. From the looks of things now we should be able to handle maybe two more people, but I don't want to go over ten. So just hang on until we're on the boat at least, and I'll let you know then. :)

In the meantime, feel free to browse all the lore we've already made up for the RP. It's pretty simple, for the most part, and we'll be adding as we go, so we only have the basics at the moment (and a few more specific details concerning the Church and Tsydra). But we'd certainly love to have you if the activity allows; you'll have the first real reserved spot for all that. ;)

I'll be posting for Wayne, while James is gone. With permission, of course. Hopefully he'll forgive me for any mistakes in characterization I make. :P

Also, given the names of people from Atlas so far, I would guess that the accent of people there would be vaguely British.
But mostly? The assorted plans at play here would be going very, very wrong due to the actions of a no-name, no-count, utterly talentless Magus by the name of Shirou Emiya. He had no magic worth mentioning, no combat experience of note, and no plan for or knowledge of the War he was about to enter. He did, however, have one trait that had derailed a countless number of such grand, far-reaching schemes throughout history.

You see, he really, really wanted to be a hero. -(Best description of the start of a Fate novel ever.)

"British" isn't very specific, you know. There are plenty of different accents that fall under the category of "British."

I know. That's why I said vaguely. :p

Just pick whatever accent first comes to mind when you read the conversations.

If you ask me to pick, I'll just read them as Cockney. That way, I can be sure that I'll never be able to take either of them seriously. :P

Smugleaf has a point: there's a big gap between a Brummy, a Londoner and a Yorkshireman, and we're got one hell of a lot more accents besides just those three.

Well, I would never claim to be particularly fluent in the varied accents used in the United Kingdom, so I don't really know what would be appropriate and what isn't. So, I guess just use Received Pronunciation, since I have no idea what the real differences are.

I suppose if no one else has anything to add I'll be posting shortly. Not to point fingers or anything, but there are a few people that haven't posted since their intro post; it'd be nice to at least hear from you guys, no matter how introverted you are. ;)

My next post will more or less force everyone to respond, as I'll be taking a very good suggestion and asking everyone for their names, to put on a monument or something. :P

Perfectly fine, I understand. :) It's not a problem, but I'd like to get things moving soon; as soon as you two can post I would appreciate it. Thanks. ;)

Posting later today, but I also wanted to ask what everyone's opinion is on recruiting a couple more people for the RP. Do you guys mind if I try and add a couple to our number? Only people we can trust, of course, that have been RPing for a while, but I just thought a few more characters might be in order. In particular, I was thinking of inviting (and not all of you will know these fellows) Darknova, Blademaster, Verlox, and Crimson Paladin from over at the BGS forums. I've been trying to get Illusionary Nothing and FC4 to jump in, but both are already busy.

Also, my TESFU friends, does anyone know where Redsrock has been? He dropped by here a while back, and I know he was talking about joining the RP, but I haven't heard from him since. If anyone sees him, let him know we'd still love to have him, if he's interested. ;)

Honestly, we haven't even seen him on TESFU in ages. I don't know what's up with him.

I'm up for more people, also I'll make time to post tomorrow. I've been learning Lua (programming language) in the evenings over the past week for an internship so that's at least part of the reaosn why I've been so slow.

Aye, sad yet true.

I'm cool with adding more people in.

Well, I haven't heard back from them yet, I just wanted to ask before I started recruiting again.

Oh, and Duke, way to be that guy. :P Using mind powers to introduce yourself; nice touch. ;) I also liked her disdain for the king. Sad but true, I must admit.

I was thinking about making Lord Chaucer mentally addled, somehow, by the way. The king is just too perfect, I can't handle such a boring character. Alzheimers should be a nice touch for an aging scholar, though I'll have to do some research in order to use it convincingly. No one minds if I do though, correct? Just wanted to ask before I offend someone.

Unless her telepathy is somehow blocked or interrupted, she's never going to verbally speak throughout the entirety of the RP. She considers verbal speech slow and inefficient. :P

That sounds fine to me, if a little cliché. Then again, that's to be expected by this point, isn't it? :D

I tried looking for a synonym for "song" that started with a "w" to give Wayne a nice alliteration there, but the closest I could find was "warble." I don't think that's going to work. :/

Hello. I'm Crimson Paladin, an RPer from the Elder Scrolls forums. Darkom brought me here and after some examination, this RP seems quite interesting.

As thee lore is being made for the RP, there are some things I'd like to know. For example, does the Church of the Light have any military orders?

The stone cannot know why the chisel cleaves it;
the iron cannot know why the fire scorches it.
When thy life is cleft and scorched, when death and despair leap at thee,
beat not thy breast and curse thy evil fate,
but thank the Builder for the trials that shape thee.

Hence why I put it after the "and", as I had to break the chain regardless.

Edit: Although if you find another "W" I'll edit it!
