This place is too happy, so let's inject some sadness into it.

Today, I got my wisdom teeth pulled, and it was easily the most painful thing I've ever experienced. And now, my mouth is pretty much in constant agony.

So how have you all been?

And it felt so good! :P

Anyway, I don't see why your's is such a problem. I got mine pulled and they felt fine. Drugs for about three days, then I could do whatever I want. I was running and eating pointy foods in less than a week.

Good to hear it; mine is as well, though I'm not sure for how much longer. As to the homecoming thing, I decided long ago it really doesn't matter who you go with. Out of the dozen people in my homecoming group last year, only one is still with his date. I didn't even have a date last year, and about a month afterwards I got my first girlfriend. :D Homecoming is just a place to have fun, and having a date just makes it a bit less awkward. :P
True True, and I don't think they will end up dating after homecoming, thankfully.

As for the wisdom teeth thing, I got mine pulled in August, and I spent the first day sore and I vomited alot because of the anasthesia. Wasn't fun. The next 4 days I was sore as gak, and it didnt help I had to read and annotate "For Whom the Bell Tolls" during that time (Hemingway can be a pain to read sometimes. And if you disagree with me, I obscenity the milk of your mother. Apparently thats an insult in 1930's Spain...), but on the Saturday of that week I was wel enough to go see "30 Minutes or Less" with my friends, it was a pretty funny movie.

Also, I had a nasty bruise on my arm when my doctor missed his first IV. Im a pretty scrawny guy, Its pretty hard not to see one of my veins :P

Also, your cheeks will swell up. Alot. You will look like a chipmunk by day 2.

It's day three, and my cheeks are fine. :/

It's just that my mouth hurts like hell.

@ Quirk: Not everyone is as lucky as you. As it happens, my two bottom ones were hugely impacted, meaning they were a pain in the ass to get out and left quite sizable holes afterwards. I needed fucking stitches because of them.

I think I got off pretty easy with my Wisdom Teeth, only my bottom ones were somewhat impacted, they took out my tops ones too for good measure. Yeah, Wisdom Teeth suck :/

I've never found Harry Potter that interesting. I watched the first two or three movies, and that's enough for me. I just never really got into it.

Read up to book four in elementary school and then stopped reading it, mostly because there was such a long wait between books I lost interest. The writing style itself is good, but what I always respected about hte series was the amount of lore it had. It seemed like each spell had its own special history, significance, and nuances, and that there were plenty of new magical places with interesting histories. I didn't really care for the latter Potters when I watched the movies because they lost alot f this charm and wonder in their attempts to "be more serious".

A sad day indeed. I saw it on facebook and at first I thought it was a mistake, since they had retracted the tweet. Then I made a joke about it, only to find out two hours later that he really had passed away. My joke had already convinced two dozen people I was a total dick.

And that sucks, Swift. I hope you get better soon.
