Oh God, I am going to post my favorite Breeds now as I was told that I better do it, or no cookies for me...and I want all the cookies! Annnnyway You will find that I am a very basic person in regards to the things I like about dragons. Earth - Earth is by far my favorite of the favorites. I love the idea of a big chunky dragon that just digs it's feet into the ground and says "No." I like stubborn, tough, grumpy dragons and for one reason or another I tend to imagine that being Earth dragons. They represent the idea of a Tank to me, like the classic "I'll hold the line" kind of tank, keeping other's alive by being tough and stubborn. Fire - There is something classic about the fire dragon, something that just screams Behold my power. Fire is a powerful element in my book and I've always seen Fire dragons as a force to be reckoned with. They can be destructive or provide warmth and comfort. Fire dragons represent that force of pure destruction and that almost nurturing motherly power to me. Sonic - I have been a fan of using Sound as a weapon since I first read about Black Canary and her sonic screams. I love the concept of something being so loud and piercing that it's damaging. It's pretty hard to stop sound. Metal - I like Metal for most of the same reasons as Earth, I find it to be colder and more distant than Earth though. Still it's an immovable stubborn as Hell object and I am a big fan of that. I will edit this over time but this is my simple and totally small awesome list of favorites. |

Alright, well my list is kinda short in comparison to some other peoples *shame*. Granted, I really like most of the dragons on Sekkai with the exception of a tiny list of those I am not the biggest fan of. However, here is a very short list of my absolute favorite dragons I have seen! Rosemary: Something about super tiny dragons appeals to me. I love how small they are, the fact that they are really pretty, feathery and colorful just strikes me the right way. First time I ever looked at the dragons they were the thing that almost instantly made me join the site in the first place. Forest: Yes please. They are just incredibly cool too. Acid spitting dragons and venomous too? This snake like thing to them, just extra bad ass. Lightening: Have a soft spot for them as one of my first long term D&D characters was a half blue dragon; which spit lightening. Ruin: Smokey obsured dragons who wear masks. Yep, love it. It reminds me of kabuki mask wearing ninja's and I just dig it all around. Influenza: Well....again with the tiny dragons - but these ones are extra evil and depraved. I like the concept of them and how they work all around. Dream: I love the idea of Psionic dragons! |

Fave Sekkain Breeds First and most favorite of all is the Fire. I'm a sucker for the old fashioned fire breathers. I grew up with stories of western dragons and knights. I always though befriending a dragon sounded a heck of a lot better than getting saved by some prince. Fire dragons of all kinds will always hold a special place in my heart....especially if they are red <3 Second is a bit the opposite of my first choice, Ice dragons. Think it's pretty awesome they can turn the world into their very own winter wonderland. Go snow~ there is also plenty of mischief they can get into plus ice skating anytime. Next are the zappy butts the lightnings. Pretty much sums up why I like them, annoy them and they can zap your sorry butt. Or accidentally zap you if you stand too close when they sneeze. Or if you scare them. Or step on their tail Last but not least are Gravity. I love how they could be the laziest things out there and just use their magic instead of their wings. They could also use their magic to turn just about anything not nailed to the ground into a weapon or squash you with your own weight. Plus you can fly while not on your dragon ![]() If I ever got lucky enough to be given one of the rarer breeds I'd be happy with whichever I got. Not so Fave Sekkain Breeds. Going to start of with one I both like and don't like, the Earths. For some reason if anything I would rather have one of these stompers as a tainted breed instead of a Sekkain. I just love these guys on the bad side more than the good. They can throw their weight around and squish some good guy heads. I'd love one of my own one day but as a Big Bad to drag a poor candi to the dark side Bwahahahaha >:D While the Chaos are cool I just can't wrap my head around their powers. There are way too many possibilities which is what their magic is about. I'd rather have a thread with one than to have one of my own. I shall gladly look from afar on these magical beasties As for the Airs and Sonics I love them to death thanks to the two I have but I know they would be pissed and kill me if I ever got others. They are my one and only ones for now will add Taint Faves later on |

Favorite Sekkai Breeds Gravity Dragons: I am a massive science nerd. If I was good at maths I'd have wanted to be a Quantum Theorist. Anyway, the fact they can manipulate gravity is bombtastic. I also really like that they cant just use it at a distance. Chaos Dragons: AGAIN. SEE ABOVE. THIS DRAGON EXCITES ME. To the depths of my soul. I just can't with this dragon. Manipulation of probability and statistics would be so amazing if it could be controlled with any bit of stable control. However, I can see some real tactical problems with them. EITHER WAY. A+. Sonic Dragons: These would be great to ambush people with, if they could produced sounds higher than human hearing. If they could surprise attack a dragon the fighters would have an upper hand in taking down their enemy. I'm a big fan of classes/abilities that aren't hugely pure damage based. Ice Dragon: Yessssss. I just enjoy the idea that there are dragons that control basically the opposite of fire. The quiet irony in it is beautiful. I'd love to just love all over one. I think Ice's are the Bee's Knees and their physical appearance description pleases me greatly. Air Dragon: Flitty fluffs dergs. I don't have a deep reason behind liking them, I just do. I just instinctively like them so much. <33 Karma Dragons: The whole cleansing and purification side to the Karma's really speak to my spiritual roots. They are like the embodiment of white sage. Fav Tainted Dragons Dream: I love them. I've always said if I ever got super powers I'd either want the power of illusion or over animals/plants. I gear at least two or three of my table top characters as illusionists and mental abilities. xD Their powers are really appealing to me. I think if I had to pick an absolute favorite I'd probably pick the Dream Dragons. Toxics: The only think I can think when I look at them is Phyrexia from Magic the Gathering. -evil laughing- YES LET US SPIT ACID AT EVERYTHING AND WATCH THE WORLD DISSOLVE. Disruption: More physics manipulation you all should know by now how I feel about that. <33 Bulky, armored, eyeless dragons of destruction. Love them. I would definitely love to play one of these at some point in time. Razors: Like air dragons, my love for them is just instinctual. There is something about them that I really love. I don't think I could pinpoint it for you. Maybe because they're rather uncomplicated? Beauty in simplicity? Hmm. I'd say Im not a fan of Arcanes, Myotics, Waters, Forests, and Crystals. |

I feel neutral regarding all breeds that are not listed. Favorite Sekkaian Breeds Glass - I adore both their powers and their design. They are beautiful, delicate little creatures who can kick butt under the right circumstances. I also really like the muse aspect of their abilities. Lava - I usually don't like dragons of this size, but these guys are an exception. Their powers sound like a lot of fun to me. Not to mention that their appearances (glowing magma red? yes) are absolutely striking to me. Water - I have no reasoning here other than really liking water-dwelling dragons. Sea noodles. Gravity - Again, a combination of design and powers. They just seem really cool. Chaos - They just have so much potential! I'm filled with muse when I think of everything that can be done with these guys. Their designs are great, their powers are spectacular, and they are truly unique. Karma - Heal the tainted. Heal them. I really like all the plot potential with these guys. Of course, their design and other colors aren't bad either. Fire - Can't go wrong with traditional dragons! Crystal - I like their design, but their powers also look like they can be a lot of fun. I'm a sucker for shiny rocks, minerals, and science. They are alchemists! Least Favorite Sekkaian Breeds Sonic - I really like their powers, but their design leaves something to be desired for me. Earth - I'm not really interested in their abilities or designs. When you add that they can't fly much, I just don't really like them. Favorite Tainted Breeds Influenza - Potentially my favorite breed on Sekkai as a whole, I absolutely love the chemical warfare factor of these guys. There's something irredeemably upsetting about their design that I adore. I also realize that most of these guys have been absolutely wicked, so naturally, the concept of one who, deep down, isn't so bad draws me in like a moth to a flame. I can honestly say that an idea for one of them is part of what drew me to the site. Abyssal - Monstrous sea noodles! I love everything about these guys. Everything. Everything. Ruin - Again with the chemicals. I love their powers and I love their designs. There's so much that could be done with one of these glorious beasts. Razor - Small but deadly, razors are spiky bundles of fun. Least Favorite Tainted Breeds Mycotic - Probably my least favorite breed on the site, I'm not a fan of most designs and the spore part of their abilities make my skin crawl. Not that I couldn't like one, since my Vanka demanded that she be made, but I'm not a fan in general. |

I realized I've never posted in here @O@ It's short but I already have most of my dream babies ;O; Favorites: Sekkain: Lightnings - speedy glass canons, how can you not adore them. Plus harnessing lightning is ultra awesome. Gravity: I adore their felinesque designs and their floaty powers. I see them as lazy cats and careful hunters. It's a lovely combination. Fire: Traditional, strong, big, fire. Need I say more? Taints: Miotics: Forest based ones. All that smallness and spores. I really like fungus. Razors: Again small and speedy. Spiky. Little blades of death. Lovely. |

Quoting my old post to see what's changed! 8D Sekkian Common - Airs Aaaaaa I have an undying love for Air dragons! Amaunet was the first dragon I created and I just love them <3 Anything that can have feathers is immediately my favorite because I LOVE FLUFF, such poofy fluffy dragons. Or quick and sleek. I just love them, 10/10. Rosies I don't have a Rosie but again so cuuuuute! A lot of them are based on flowers/plants which I love, theres so much variation with plants and most have medicinal/diabolical uses >> . They're just leetle and cute, loves it. Waters I like a lot of "regular" dragons just from childhood since they were the easiest to think up. I have a love of the natural world and the ocean is a place of danger and beauty, two things I always love together. Uncommon/ Rare Lightning I've always been super attracted to thunder/lightning/storm elements. The idea of controlling lightning is amazing to me, how much power to create (glass sculptures) or destroy (forest fires from lightning strikes) and I like their complicated horns <3 Metals AAAAA. Ever since receiving a metal of my own I have grown to love them. When I first started I thought they sounded nice but weren't my type. Their elemental ability is different from many other breeds since it's not a breath attack, and the molten metal isn't hot like a glass'. Just very interesting characters usually all around <3 Crystal Feather like scales? Check. Nimble? Check. I really love the body type of these guys, anything quick/sneaky/slender is right up my alley. (I'm also they typical Archery/sneaking/lockpicking Skyrim player) The ability to soften and harden their scales is super cool and their elemental abilities are one of my favorites! Tainted (include sekkian breeds applicable for tainted) Influenzas aaaah the twisted version of the Rosie, I love their background in infections and diseases. Going into Pharmacy this is becoming a quick interest of mine and their ability to culture their own versions of deadly diseases is just beyond cool. They make for very interesting characters to read and I can only imagine the same to play <3 Arcane Aaaa where to start. Their eggs are my favorite on the site as smoky quartz is one of my favorite stones. Their generally neutral color scheme is also nice, based on earthy and muted tones yet they're not like an Earth's hide. Again, a lithe build is preferable as I like my dragons fast usually, plus multiple leggies ;-; I love it. Plus aaaaah they're especially mage-like dragons, using their limbs to create and contain energy attacks. Though they are super rare and probably very difficult to play. Dream Long, slithery, and snake like with a BUNCH of leggies ( ;-; <3 socute). Their overall design is just so friggin' adorable for a tainted I cannot take it. Again, Super interesting element and that I would love to see one day since there is one on site c:

Let me first make it clear that there's not one species I actively dislike, and really? I'm charmed by them all! There's amazing creative application for all of the breeds, and I am a willing slave to any array of possibilities. Bring 'em on. For the sake of convenience, this post will feature a (somewhat regularly updated) abbreviated list with my top three hopes and yields for the coming hatching season. Yields are not disliked so much as requiring an extra creative push to make me more comfortable with their conceptual elemental execution. Sekkai Hopes - - Rosemary Pfft... As a nurse, healing is a huge passion of mine. I was a sick kid, and I've been learning and loving medicine traditional and otherwise a long time. Using a dragon as a vector for this would be a pleasure and an honor. Hope moves mountains. - Earth Aw, man - these dudes are so underappreciated, you know? Red rock, limestone, gargoyles, foo dogs, and the dichotomy of art and power. I would adore having one of these bad mamma jammas in my arsenal in nearly any context. - Karma Psychcology dragons, kinda! Eeee! Just as many species can manipulate the body, so too can these alter the mind to mend or fracture sanity and self; it's an imperfect science and better for it. Plus the plots, gosh. Sekkai Yields - - Air Actually, these dudes are great and I'd love one... Just probably with the caveat of a snoot instead of a beak - sometimesI get conflicted when they feel too much like gryphons, which we've already got. The inspiration is endless, though. - Celestial These powerful, holy noodle dragons are everything a paladin would crusade for. The power and "perfection" applied to them make them feel too whole. If I had one, I would have it fall from grace in some capacity - goodness is such fun when it's a challenge. - Sonic Sound in general is a slightly terrifying concept for me to try and poke at. Why? I don't comprehend it the way most other folks do and have to tackle it from a more technical stand point. Messing up is scary. Taint Hopes - - Mycotic Any permutation of them is one I appreciate, seriously. Not only are the designs either beautiful or haunting (or sometimes both), but with fungus powers comes a flexible pharmacological powerhouse to heal or hurt. - Bone Fascinating species with incredible potential, no matter the size or mutation the power stays the same; can be used as a support or a tank, and designed with almost complete artistic freedom. Very versatile. - Ruin Ghost types are one of my favorite Pokémon types of all time, so how couldn't I adore these? Both the design capacity and creativity/science to be applied with their element are intoxicatingly alluring. Taint Yields - - Disruption Their abilities are utterly fascinating, but also difficult for me to comprehend; they conduct sound that I may not hear and have no eyesight whereas I rely on mine. Getting in the head of one is very... Other. - Toxic Specialized and powerful, opportunities to explore weakness are limited. Toxins in the environment can be brilliant warfare and perform no small number of feats, but I feel their singular super honed ability compacts possibility. - Abyssal These dudettes are great and I love them (I love lamprey), my only point of contention is their allegedly all-consuming hunger. Gluttony is a wonderful sin, but it's not as interesting if it inhibits all drives for growth/change. All breeds unlisted are just as welcome! Please note that elemental redundancy in my character roster is not my favorite concept, but is negotiable. If you've got a great idea, by all means have at it. It may be worth noting that I've been in love with medicine and medical mayhem for the body and brain since I remember lucid thought, and that both straightforward and creative application to this great love of mine is always adored. On the flipside, puppeteering sound manipulation makes me feel a little sheepish due to flawed comprehension (I'm hard of hearing IRL, my other language is ASL). Even so, circumventing fear is fun, and perhaps I could play a unique perspective. My only real point of contention with any character comes with a lack of chemistry regarding personality. Measurable faults and infirmities such as physical handicap, developmental disability, glaring emotional infirmity, and/or similar make the characters more real (who amongst us is not a little bit like swiss cheese?) and fun to play. Realism is good, too... Some folks are more stable than others. Thank you for your time and attention, happy creating! The Gratitude Pit - i. Thank you to Semp for creating the concept of Influenza Amblyomma - for my first dragon, taint, and one of my favorite breed concepts wrapped in flawed narcissism and ambition. He's perfect for me, with every opportunity to grow towards the light or corrupt absolutely. ii. Thank you to Kitsu for crafting the idea of Forest Etapalli - my first Sekkai faction hatching was very exciting with the taunt of your GoG. The gentle bumbling knight to Esh's barely managed distress is a beauty and a gift; the Forest breed has always held such allure to me, and this fella is well loved. |
