So I had an idea for after the taints are defeated. My idea is that a rebel force that has been hiding in the Frozen Wasteland for quite sometime, growing in number and waiting for there chance to come into play, and the perfect time would be after the Taints are defeated. Sekkia would be weakened, and then they could strike. Anyway below is all the ideas and thoughts i had on the rebels. Hope you like it ;D. Group: The Fiachra (just a name i like, any others could be used ;D.) Cause: The Fiachra are a mixture of Sekkian who have left the Army, and Minor corrupted Taints. The Sekkian’s left the army because they believe that the Sekkian commanders waste lives due to the lack of tactics. The fight so that there is more order, but they do not fight on open ground, ohh no, they are guerilla fighters. Their main form of attack is elaborate traps and ambushes. Supply trains and weapon caches are main targets, but sometimes kidnap and ransom are also put into play. The Taints who have joined the Rebellion are not like the others. They have kept enough of their sanity to function in the group without killing each other. There is some tension, but the group is more worried about there cause than where there comrade hails from. They wish to overthrow Sekkia, or become there own kingdom, and fix this loss of life. Description (looks and such): The Fiachra don’t fall into any set criteria, they almost everyone. The only one’s that they won’t take are the more corrupted and less stable Taints. There numbers are already small, they don’t need someone ripping open a few people because they got hungry or upset. The original Fiachra warriors look like vikings. They have hidden in the far North above Vidalaner (a place that could be called The Freeze). For the longest time. They are clad in furs and viking helms. Some wear chainmail, and others fight almost completely in the nude. The main force is made up of heavy melee fighters; their are very few archers and medics. The beasts that fight beside the Fiachra are just as jumbled as the people. There is everything from Earth’s to Sundashers, from Razors to Foot Soldiers. They have a little of everything. Not every rebel has a beast, so there is a mass of soldiers on horseback and on foot. This is one of the reasons they can ambush and strike with ease. They have strike forces that don’t have giant lumbering beasts that make noise. Their tactics and structure is surprisingly stable for a rebel group, and they have a bona-fied chain of command and ranking tree’s. There is a main base that could be called something like The Cave or something, but for the most part, the troops are nomadic, with very few permanent village structures. There are a few though, and most are located on the edge of the ocean. Special Features: There are several things that could be added to the site through a group such as this. The first is that maybe a few Ice and Metal dragons could be brought back. Not many, and there could be a contest to see who gets one, but it would give the Rebels a dangerous edge in their own environment. A new breed of Dire could be created. A Icestalker or something of that nature. It could have antlers like a deer, but be the color of the snow. Similar in size to a Duskstrider, but more lean. I know this sounds cheezy, but what about LONGSHIPS!!! Viking ships, yep that would be awesome. But it wouldn’t be plausible to have these ships if they didn’t have some sort of danger to them. I was told that gunpowder has been invented, so maybe they could have cannons. If that doesn’t fit they could have Greek Fire that they launch with small catapults, or they could have heavy Javelin launchers that shoot a decent sized arrow. If this is to big to put on a Longship, maybe they could have a galleon like the Russians had in the 17th and 18th century. Rank Chain: A. High Command Fiachra King-He could have a metal dragon and be all powerful or something. Asgard General- The commanders of the armies right below the King. There are Four of them. 1.Sigurd, The Dragon Slayer; He is Commander of the dragon land forces. He rides a enormous Lightning named Blitzkrieg. 2. Máni, Light of the Moon; He is Commander of the human and Dire land forces. His beast is one of these Icestalkers, or perhaps a Ice Dragon called Stormshadow. 3. Hervor, The Valkyrie Princess; She is Commander of all the air forces, and she rides a Sonic called Splitstream 4. Baldr, Vassal of the Sea; He is commander of the oceans. He controls the Ships and the beasts of the water. He rides a hideous creature called Behemoth, that is a giant mutated abyssal. He also has the largest ship in the Fiachra rebellion, Hringhorni. Ratatoskr Guards: The men that lead battalions into battle, they take orders from the Generals, and see that they are listened to through out the ranks. There is 1 Ratatoskr Warrior per every 250 soldiers. B. Land Forces (Dragons) Titans: The largest of Dragons that keep the line pushing forward and lay waste to the enemy. Ex: Earth, Mycotic, Bulkhead if there are any Blood-rages: The medium sized dragons that can move quickly to reenforce the lines. The largest dragon allowed to be in ambushes and quick raids. Ex: Lava, Fire, Water, Metal, Bone or Disruption. Gremlins: The smallest dragons that fight on land. They usually flock around one of the Titans to distract the enemy, giving the great beasts the chance then need to destroy. C. Land Forces (Dires and humans) Lieutenants: Those who take orders from the Ratatoskr and boss around the lower units. These make up the backbone of the command, and are thoroughly mixed in with the troops. Some are mounted, while others fight on foot. Bezerks: Similar to a Sargent, and usually has a headdress to symbolize there place in the chain of command. Most fight on foot, very few have a dire. Men-of-Arms: These are the rest of the troops. The ragtag group of peasants, mercenaries, Vikings, soldiers, and assassins. It doesn’t matter if your a blacksmith or a a merchant, if you can fight and are not put in a higher rank, this is where you are. D. Air Forces Air Wardens: The Lieutenants of the skies. Most ride a Air or small dragon so they can relay orders quickly to the troops. Raiju: The titan’s of the sky. These are the biggest dragons that can take to the air, and usually hold a higher rank. Tumblers: The remaining forces of the skies. Called tumblers for their acrobatic abilities. E. Sea Forces Tiamats: The largest monsters of the sea, the huge abyssals and largest waters that fight for the cause. Commodore: A Captain who leads a smaller fleet of ships. Captain: Is the commander of any one ship. Aquatics: Troops stationed on ships so that they can attack costal encampments. Ballistics: The Men and Women who fire a ship’s artillery. Special Units Hyak Archer: A special group of archers that are known to take the wings off a fly at 200 paces. This is a small elite group, and they operate as their own battalion. Usually reinforcements or ambushers. Colossus: A group of large, armored dragons that guard the Cave. Some have riders, and others fight alone. Not to be toyed with XD. Devastators: The humans and smaller dragons who control the few pieces of siege equipment that the Fiachra have. Most of the equipment is smaller anti-air machines, but they do have a half dozen catapults varying is size, and two super large Trebuchets. The Snow Guard: Elite Dire riders who blend with the snow and ice terrain that has come to be there home. Usually used as a patrol, but if needed, can be used for flanking maneuvers on enemy forces. Well there you have it, my idea for after the taints are defeated. All names and ranks are subject to change, i just thought I’d use the one’s i have down, because they usually have a mythological or lore behind them that adds to the whole structure of the rebel forces. What do i want out of this? A: Well, i just thought i’d bring this forward because it had been in my head for quite sometime. This would bring tons of new plots and threads into play, and maybe help the site grow more. I also have a character i have been wanting to create, and i would like him to be part of the rebels if the idea is accepted. I’m not going for the highest rank, ohh no, i’m not ready to run a nation or a faction, i would like him to be one of the Ratatoskr Guards, and if possible, his dragon be a metal dragon. Those are my only wishes if this idea is brought into play. If this idea is rejected, that’s ok too. Who knows maybe i will change some things and make it into a book, and i will still create my next character set, just his dragon won’t be a metal. Thanks for taking the time to ponder and look at my ideas! All feedback is more than welcome! *edit* If anyone needs some elaboration on something i could supply that as well

I liek! That'd be a fun place to place new characters (once spaces open up for me) and plus, the Taints are so badly outnumbered it's just rediculous. They've lost so much I am kind of losing faith in them all. But THIS, this would provide SOOOOOO much more lol and it's querilla fighting too, the best kind. Just a touch of feedback cuz I am lacking an active thread. lol it's an awesome idea though Calle! I hope the Adminers accept it I'd love to see it come into play. |
