[size0]Character Number:
2nd

Name:
"Marble"
Naděžda Leththil

Age:
18

Gender:
Female

Sexuality:
-----------

[align=center]Appearance:

To look upon Marble is to look upon a seemingly pitiful, yet fragile creature. Skin a nearly ghostly pale, consisting of porcelain and ivory hue obviously entirely lacking any melanin. Eye lashes and shoulder length wavy and wispy locks were void of any melanin as well, being of a platinum and nearly ice white in hue. Her complexion was entirely flawless even though it caused her grief when brought into the sunlight, eyes and skin both a little sensitive to the sun. Marble burnt quite easily due to her skins pale color, so she tries her best to keep herself covered up in the day time. A small framed young woman who was tiny and thin in appearance. Her frame was elegant yet wispy with dainty hands and feet, still hinting at a body of prepubescence despite being of age.

Her facial structure almost doll-like in appearance with soft and cute rounded features stained with the black of dirt, with soft pouty lips that were a ghostly pale pink in hue. Wide set eyes full of curiosity were of a pale lavender hue, she was a strange yet alluring sight to behold. Marble's hair had always been kept shoulder length and naturally wavy with bangs that were set neatly in a 'hime' cut to frame the soft features of her face. Yet at times far too long for her liking and unkempt. For a time she had debated letting it grow out, yet for now she kept it only at shoulder length. Having it in that length just over all made it far easier for her, compared to if she wore it long. For when she did nothing her hair flowed free, yet when she required for quick movement or anything of the sort she would pull it up into a ponytail. At other times it was kept in a very short braid that would be set to the side.

Cloth wise she's not much to look at as the fabrics she wore were always quite frayed and raggedy, worn until they no longer served any purpose or unraveled. Yet she is never seen without a hooded cowl, seeing as how it can be used to help keep away the sun from her eyes and portions of her face. Marble tends to cover herself in anything that she can get her hands on, mostly taking it from those who had died from one reason or another. It didn't even matter to her if it was covered in blood or torn yet she knew better than to take it from a body that seemed to be diseased. If she truly needs to she could fashion herself something makeshift from the bits of over worn fabrics that might still be useful. Upon her feet there are no shoes, only bandages that she had fashioned out of some leftovers of useless cloth. Her dainty hands and feet dirtied with fingers and toes exposed to the elements despite the torn bandages she wore.

Personality:
Naive, Fragile, Skittish, Shy, Strong-willed, Swift, Determined.
True to her soft innocent and nearly doll-like features, the nature of the young woman is quite innocent itself. Making her rather predictable in some cases, though not all. A fragile woman with a semi-optimistic outlook on life, despite all that had befallen her. Marble tends to not let horrible things weigh down her mind and keeps pressing on no matter how horrible her destination. Her logic being that if you cannot press on no matter what lies in wait of you, you will surely die and to die would be befitting of many a weakling. If she cannot continue to press on in the face of danger then surely she would be far too weak to live. Yet at the same time she is plagued by second thoughts and has questioned before her own eagerness to stay alive. With living the way she did for such a time she had to learn to be very quick on her feet too. Being caught certainly meant punishment.

Apart from that she can be rather skittish, teetering between being very lively and playful to nervous and fearful of others. The time in which she can be either or, greatly varies from one day to the next. Everything depending on her surroundings and how entirely safe she truly feels. If she does not feel safe then she will revert to her shy and nervous behavior. Marble in her inexperience of the world itself can be a bit naive and may believe what she is told, not taking the time to truly question it fully. In turn making her slightly too trustful of others if they make her feel safe. It wouldn't be too much of a challenge to persuade her, regardless if you may be lying or not. For poor Marble that is one of her major flaws, but in time she may learn to put a better guard up. Most of all however there is a curious determination that holds within her frail body, yet deeper still something akin to a dulled flame that has to be ignited.

[align=center]History:

Little was known of the child's heritage or where she was truly born. All that is known however was that her mother was a traveler. It was unknown where exactly she had come from or why exactly she had abandoned her young daughter who had been only four years of age at the time, in Lihn's outer ring. Another question would be to as the whereabouts of her father, yet that too was just as unknown to most. The woman had left her small child there along the torn muddy streets and then just as quickly vanished without so much of a word despite her childs cries. Nothing in particular had been known why she had just left her young child there or where she had gone. Just as well little was known to what might have happened to her after that, yet death in the wilderness had seemed to be the most likely outcome, one way or the other. Yet despite what seemed to be such a horrible twist of fate for the young girl there had been quite another twist. This new twist was a lucky one, a twist that would not spell her imminent death to the elements or any other horror for a young child. Quite lucky for her indeed that she had been scooped up a while later by a far older woman who came off as very kind, who tried to settle her with soft, hushed tones. The old woman had taken her into her home within Lihn's middle ring and she had named the young girl Marble due to the child's body lacking melanin, which caused her to be extremely pale in coloring.

When the young girl was only ten the kind old woman who had raised her passed away, leaving the girl to fend for herself. Since then she had found herself on the streets and back in the one place she had started, Lihn's outer ring. Once again finding herself under the wing of another, a local gang of cutthroats. Marble at that point knowing not much better in her young age, found herself getting into more trouble than she should have. The young girl stayed among them for the next three years making herself useful as a pickpocket or various other things including taking part in a few B&Es, occasionally she found herself just as well to be the bait in a few kidnapping schemes. Among those, even nastier jobs where blood was frequently shed. Marble did little to complain despite those who she had fallen in with as she didn't really go too hungry and didn't really need to worry about much other than doing her job, especially when that job had been a success. Still the young girl did have to be wary, constantly looking over her shoulder and keeping a watchful eye. There would be dire consequences after all if she had been caught in any thieving especially, any job was all the more difficult thanks to her 'strange' coloring. Marble stuck out like a sore thumb after all and took to covering herself almost entirely just to make up for it. Yet as her eighteenth birthday was upon her, not that anyone knew when it really was. The young girl found herself splitting off from the gang to try and make her own way in the world and for many years she stuck to her thieving ways. Marble never went very far however and always found her way back into Lihn's walls. Though when she stole, Marble only took what she needed and nothing more.
