Character Number- 1st Name- Leeyon Ashkore Age- 21 Gender- Male Sexuality- Heterosexual Appearance- Leeyon has quite the basic appearance. Leeyon has short light brown hair that has a gentle lift in the front. His eyes are mixed colors among light brown, green and a soft yellow. He is your average height at 5'10. He has a rather fit form due to his constant training routines as a youth. He has a rather young looking face often being mistaken for a young teen. He has a lighter skin complexion with a slight tan. He has a scar running down his right eyebrow leading down to the middle of his right cheek and a rather nasty scar running down his left shoulder blade down to his lower back on the right side. Both of Leeyon's scars were received by his abusive father for slacking off. Leeyon keeps himself relatively clean, bathing between training sessions and before sleep for the most part. He doesn't really care much about his appearance but he does the normal routine for basic hygiene. He normally wears basic attire but rather likes lighter clothing to allow for flexibility. Leeyon also wears a silver necklace for luck he had bought off a traveling merchant and so far he hasn't been disappointed. Leeyon always keeps a large piece of bandaging cloth tightly wrapped around his left fore arm just in case anything happens to him, or anyone else for that matter. Personality- Leeyon has a rather odd personality to say the least. Normally he his a cheerful kinda guy always trying to lighten the mood. However, if things get out of hand such as needless fighting or harm comes to the ones Leeyon cares for, he shows a rather ferocious side stopping at nothing to protect his friends and family. Leeyon likes to be social most of the time, always looking to make new friends and hopefully coax them into being a sparring partner with him in an attempt to become the best swordsman for generations to come. Though he has much to learn if he ever hopes to even scratch the surface of being the best swordsman in the world. Leeyon also likes traveling anywhere that is unknown to him, exploring the great world is one of his lifelong dreams and in the long run he hopes to set foot all around the world at one point. Leeyon also enjoys visiting local inns for a drink every now and then to catch up on rumors and gossip. Leeyon dislikes being backed into a corner, restrained in any way shape or form. And finally being put on the spot. He gets flustered at the thought of any of those things most of all being the center of attention when it is unnecessary at the time. Leeyon would rather be left a hero in the dark then people praising him for his deeds however great they might be. Rank- Candidate. History- Born into the slums of Lihn, Leeyon always had a rougher life then most. He struggled to keep food in the house for both him and his abusive father. He had never known who his mother was, if she was even alive or dead all he had known was he had a good for nothing father who would rather spend his days drinking and beating him then manning up and being a responsible parent. When the day came that his father drew his rather unique ice blue colored sword on him at the age of 13, giving him his 2 distinct scars, he ran outside in an attempt to break away and gain some much needed ground. In his hasty sprint he bumped into an armed guard knocking himself flat on his back with his drunken father hot on his heels sword flailing in the air. The solider looked at Leeyon laying on the ground blood seeping on the walkway. He stood in front of the boy in a defensive stance with his pike at the ready. "Move aside ye lout! That's my boy I'll punish em as I see fit damn it!" his father bellowed with a rage unlike any other. The guard held his firm stance "No it is you who needs to move aside! This is a mere child you are th-" the guard was cut off in mid sentence as the boys father charged the guard forcing his hand to plunge his pike in his chest leaving it buried deep within as the boys father dropped instantly next to Leeyon. Leeyon began to sob but at the same time was losing his vision due to the loss of blood that was occurring, the guard tried to grab him to seek medical attention but the boy pushed his hand away as he crawled closer to his father who was inches from his death "P-Pa?" he whispered as his father tried to let out a chuckle but only ended up choking on his own blood. "I'm sorry Leeyon...This is...The only way I be knowin how to raise a child...Ye would have been...Better off...With yer moth--" his fathers head fell limp to the ground as civilians began to drag his body off the street praising the guard for protecting the child. Leeyon tried to stand up and tell them to stop cheering over his dad's lifeless corpse, instead he fainted from blood loss. Upon waking up Leeyon realized he was no longer in the slums but this seemed to be a rather large room with medical supplies laying on the table beside him. A blood soaked rag, a bowl of water and herbs and remedies. He felt his back and waist and noticed it was tightly bandaged to stop the bleeding. Leeyon began to panic when he yelled for his father "Dad!!! I can't see out of m--" he stopped in mid sentence and felt for his right eye which he couldn't see out of and ripped off the bandage which was tightly bound, to once again have vision. A series of thumps sounded close by and the door swung open with a quickness that could rival lightning itself. It was the guard who had saved his life, without his armor he could see he was an older gentleman much smaller in size then he had originally thought . "Your finally awake... I am truly sorry for what has transpired as of 3 days ago...Do you have any kin other then your father that could take care of you...If not you could work for your room and board around here...There is many repairs that could be made to this feeble structure, I also require a sparring partner to keep these old bones from stiffening up on me...Oh and before I forget my name is Berit..." he gave a casual smile to Leeyon. Truth was all he wanted was to pass on his knowledge to this unfortunate youth out of pity and guilt. Leeyon just gave a nod and forced a smile "I am Leeyon sir...I have no other kin.. That I'm aware of.." he announced a bit taken back by the mans generosity but before he could answer the man motioned for him to follow him downstairs. "When you are fully recovered you can begin doing these daily chores..." he began pointing out things that needed to be done daily as well as repairs that could be done over time which would over all take a couple years for 1 man alone. After 8 years had rolled by Leeyon had finally finished all the repairs that was asked of him, went above and beyond in his daily chores, due to the old man not being able to move as nimble as before he was forced to retire from the service, giving him more and more time to train Leeyon in the art of swordsmanship. After his 14th birthday they began to train in the graceful art of sword play every day together. and those 7 years of training were not wasted as Leeyon could now best the old man. Though he did however still have a rather nasty habit of being overly hasty in his attacks, but nonetheless the old man was impressed with his improvement and handed him a sword in a sheath which looked rather familiar to him. Upon unsheathing the sword a shiver so fierce ran up his spine his legs began to shake "I-is this!?" he was excited but afraid all in the same time not sure how to react upon his fathers icy blue sword in his hand. The old man sighed "You need a keepsake of his memory be it good or bad it is something you will need to carry with you, and its craftsmanship is superb..." he expressed. "I have spoken to a few friends of mine in the military and they would be honored to have you serve as a solider..It is a great honor and responsibility Leeyon and the last request from this old man...: he gave a weak smile awaiting Leeyon's response. "I will Berit... I will make you proud, you are more of a father to me then mine ever was." It took months upon months of grueling training exercises and tedious routines but he had finally been accepted into the military and though his swordsman ship was passable he still had a lot of room for improvement, He wanted desperately to have the chance to work with a dragon, that kind of companion ship was what he had desired the most a friend he could always talk to , a companion to go through life with, but being a sekkian solider was the first step to his journey.
