Bolrock would never touch his sword again as not once, but twice, his own weapon had been used against him. Twice. Once should have been enough for him to be rid of it, but the time had not been a good one. He had his own stern beliefs to follow, and that the sword had tasted his blood more than once now had it set as a bad omen. Before any of them even made a move after Anemone had taken her injured rider, he had, though politely, firmly asked Krakatoa to melt it where it had been dropped by the forest rider. When Byrn was seen fit by Bolrock to travel, they indeed vacated the area, as their stay was long over welcomed. And the young man didn't say a word. He would nod or shake his head if given a direct question, but he would not speak. He had too much to think about, to get over, to get through. As the trio and their dragons made camp once more, further away from their previous gathering spot, Bolrock rose, turned, and walked away.

He wasn't shunning the twins, or anything. He wasn't mad at them, not at all. But there were key times when the dark-skinned rider needed absolute alone time. Now was one of those times, as even Rogue did not follow. She whined a bit, yes, but gently butted Blair's chest with her snout to know all was well with Bolrock. "He just needs to think," was the only answer she could give. And her rider did not return until sometime after dark, when he seemed far more composed and could now tolerate any touching or hugging from Blair. He sat between the twins, looking into the fire for a moment before picking up a thick stick.

"Sorry," he said to start things off, taking the time to smile briefly at his Byrn and Blair. "We had much to think about, to try and get Our thoughts straight so that what We have to say now would be more than just a tumble of words." There was another brief pause, but then it came. "We all need to learn how to function for one another again, to get over the things that are behind us, and adjust to what remains of us now. We aren't saying that we all are doing things 'wrong' right now, but you have to admit, things have been very strained. We shouldn't be afraid to tell one another what is on our minds, what needs to be said. For the more it builds within, the more violently it will burst later." he snapped the thick piece of wood easily in one hand, and cast it aside into the low fire.

"We should say what is on our minds now, what troubles us, worries us. So this way, we may get stronger as a unit again." With another pause, a determined look formed on his face. "Bolrock will be going to Lihn like before--alone--to make us all new weapons, new armor. Do not start, Rouge," he said, holding up his hand without looking as the white dragoness stood up with a loud, protestant snort. "The nearest you will be allowed will be the jungle bordering Lihn. Of course, it's up to the rest of what what you will do while We are gone. We will plan it so it is during this high time of the Sekkain excitement of their hatching. They will not be looking for Bolrock minding his business in Lihn."

He didn't want to sound like he was giving orders; he'd never do that to them. But he hoped that, like last time while he had been away, they would find a stronghold, a home, for them. They were good at that. "We are tired of being bested. It's time to do the besting."

The growing Bulkhead had respectfully obliged Bolrock’s request about his sword. Hell Krakayoa completely agreed. Touching it with the tip of a talon reduced the weapon into a small bubbling puddle of metal within seconds. Krakatoa himself felt rather, well, dirty. In a bad way though. Mating with that mess of a Forest. Hell he would rather his first child be created with a worthy female, but the call of revenge was a sweet siren song far too tempting to resist.

Now he turned his attention to his rider. Blair sat holding the Forest pair’s crystal in her hand and staring at it with an unreadable expression. He could tell she was in despair again and he heated up in anger from it. She put the crystal in the leather pouch on her belt before they geared up to find a new temporary camp. When they arrived, Neither Blair nor Krakatoa spoke much. Though Blair did watch Bolrock as he left with a touch of worry in her eyes.

Rouge’s reassurance did cause her to crack a small smile however. “I know” She said softly and patted her nose. Blair then lay by the fire silently. Since bonding to Krakatoa, Blair found more comfort in fire. The dancing flames kept her content and even Krakatoa stoked them for both warmth and contentment as they waited. When Bolrock returned, Blair gazed at him and purred contentedly. When the youth began to speak, Blair said nothing but she turned his words about in her mind. Although she wanted to protest him splitting off to Lihn again, she had to admit he was right and this was the safest time to do it. And Byrn especially needed new armor.

Looking back into the fire she sighed and spoke “Very well, I will be blunt. We need a new home and we need to see what we can do for Byrn” She looked at her twin directly now “Your dragon has damaged you but I feel you can recover at least to an extent. I have been terrified to get your heart rate up but it is not something we can simply avoid any more. We must find a form of therapy for you to get back as much strength and health as you can.” Ending that matter she turned to her other thought “As for a home. We are now free of the Murks and we are bonded. We need a permanent homestead but this time, a simple cabin in the woods will NOT cut it for us.”

Her tone changed. She was deadly serious and carried a heaviness to it that warned everyone to heed her. “Do you remember what we were working towards? Power, for one. Well, we are expected to serve the Tainted legion now. While I dislike being someone's pawn I feel we can easily gain rank, respect, and with luck, perhaps our own following. I know you have been dislike me actually opening up while in the Murks and gaining ‘friends’ but the more I did, I have learned if we want power, we need allies and others who will help us should we need it. We need force and support. So wherever we go, we will need a way for those whom we trust and can use to be close enough.” Oh yes she cared for her new friends, but they knew that already.

A brief pause before she continued “More importantly, dammit I am sick of us not having the luxuries we both need and deserve. What we need is a large fortress of sorts. A place we can carry out our desires and our needs. A home as well as a workshop.” The fire danced in her eyes. Surely they knew what she meant. A place to work on victims as well as live an enjoyable comfortable life “Also…” She took a breath “I want to extend our family. I want children. However I am no fool, I will not even fathom it until we have security for them. So that will be a while down the line. But we are being honest yes? And that is one thing I want.” Aiyana flew down and landed on her shoulder to nuzzle her cheek and Blair reached up to stroke her lovingly.

Thought night time, Krakatoa’s approaching shadow as his head was now over them engulfed them all “And I want to make a mark and name for myself and My Blair. We need more action I say! I understand we need a base and better equipment first, so yes we should begin whatever the hell process we need to. Impregnating that bush lizard was a start but NOT my finest moment” He snorted fire and looked to Rouge softly as he could.

“I say when you and Bolrock go to Lihn, Ts’akab and I with Byrn and Blair could start looking for a new homestead” He swung his head towards the Lightning now. He felt he and Blair could easily do it on their own but after what had happened at Graduation, he did not trust the Lightning with his rider. Plus he wanted to see what he could contribute.

Frustration. The lightning rider was frustrated, irritated, and there was so much wrong with things at the moment, Byrn didn’t know how to even begin to fix things. Time could not be unwound, could not be undone for him to try and fix things, however, even then, what would he fix? Stop them from becoming dragonriders? That had been their dream. But, now that they had bonded, more obstacles to overcome and it was weighing on him. His own dragon wasn’t helping, but it was nice to not have the damned beast in the back of his mind all the time. Sometimes he flittered back and forth, and only in great need could he utilize the bond to call the dragon to himself. With the lack of the bond, Byrn realized how he had at least liked the aspect of being able to call his dragon wherever he was.

But then, that was all he could think of that he liked about the bond for the most part. The runoff emotion from both rider and dragon had been too intense for the rider, to annoying. He relished in the fractured silence. The relationship between lightning and rider had only taken a step back as the greedy dragon had taken it upon himself to complete the lesson without discussing with the man before hand. And the fact that he had died. well. It hadn’t helped the group in at all.

And then there was Bolrock. Twice already, had he almost been killed by his own damned weapon. He had relinquished it to be destroyed and while it made Byrn uneasy to see him without it, Bolrock had other weapons along with two dragons that would come to his aid without question.

But that left the older of the group moody, and he would leave to be on his own. And it /frustrated/ byrn that he couldn’t do anything to soothe his mind, to soothe his twin. He was the weak one here, and what would that do? He gnashed his teeth as He watched, as once again Bol left. He poked absentmindedly at the fire, his own mood sour. If he wasn’t so damned weak, he wouldn’t be in this damned position, he wouldn’t have died, he would have gotten through training easier. But the fact still stood, he had been the one to die, to be proven over and over that he was the weakest link of the group.

Perhaps if he was no longer there, the two could aspire to be great. To be what they had always wanted. He felt like he was holding everything back. And it killed him inside. But, while he entertained the notion of actually leaving, he couldn’t bring himself to do it. The lightning would all be for it, he was sure, but he? He couldn’t even think of the looks that the two would give him.

Unless he left in the middle of the night?

But where would he go? He had no home, no one else but these two in the entire world. And if he left, he would most likely be killed….perhaps by his own dragon. He wouldn’t put it past the dragon to kill him--he had; after all; done it once before. And if he was alone, the lightning would get away with it, and then possible fool the others in thinking he wasn’t there for a spell...eventually they’d catch on but.

He threw the stick in the fire, with a huff. Eyes flickered to the gold-plated dragon that lounged in the shadows. With an irritated growl, he picked up a rock and threw it at the lightning dragon. The stone made a resulting clicking sound as it hit one of the plated armors on the growing dragons neck. He threw another for good measure before the dragon snarled, more out of irritation that his own rider was throwing things at him, than actual pain. He made no move to do anything--the damned bulkhead kept his goddamn eyes on him. It was suffocating.

Byrn sighed, taking a deep breath. Before Bolrock returned after a while and placed himself in the middle of the two twins. He scooched over on the log, giving everyone enough space to be comfortable but close enough that it didn’t seem like he didn’t want the male there. He kept silent as Bolrock began to speak. He glanced at the dark-skinned man as he spoke and let him talk. Finally, the other was going to tell him what was on his mind. He continued to stare at the fire as Bolrock spoke. Silently, he agreed. their unit was broken. Broken because of him--but he didn’t say that aloud.

Then Blair spoke, after bolrock and he let her speak. A homestead. Yes, they needed somewhere safe to bunker down in. Somewhere where they could have shelter, easily store food and just retreat too when necessary. As much as traveling was fun, it tired the male out. He felt like he hadn’t been properly clean in forever. Even the Bulkhead agreed, that was the best option.

Then everything was silent. Oh, they were waiting on him now. He wriggled his nose, taking up a stick to start poking at the fire with it. He could feel eyes on him, but what was he even going to say? He was being the inadequate party. They had to wrap everything around him, because he was weak. he frowned.

“Don’t like you going into town by yourself.” he finally spoke up, poking at the fire. “But it’s for the best, I suppose.” He fell silent, feeling the urge to throw something at his dragon again. Stupid dragon. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid him. “I’ll go wherever Blair chooses to go then.” He replied, assenting to both of their decisions. He heard his dragon snort softly, but he kept silent. “I’m sure we’ll find something….”

Bolrock listened silently, though he nodded to show Blair he approved. But he was looking into the flames, considering each word and taking it to heart. However, when it came to Byrn, he closed his eyes, especially as Byrn threw something at the lightning dragon. Byrn was not saying what he wanted to. He was shrugging it aside, retreating. Bolrock stood, then turned to Byrn. He gazed down at the younger man for a moment before going to one knee before him. Bolrock put one hand to his shoulder, the other to gently cup his chin and turn his face, and wait until their eyes met.

"Byrn, We cannot force you to speak, but We know there is more to it. You just won't say it. But your body language says a lot." His grip tightened a margin on Byrn's shoulder, a warm gesture. "Please, speak...I cannot help you if I don't know what is wrong." he laid his head to Byrn's chest as his throat tightened. "We've all been through a lot, and we can all get through to it together."

Rouge's irritation was only growing and growing. T'sa had saved her and Bolrock, and she appreciated him more than she naturally hated him, and had managed to have a little truce of sorts between them. However, during graduation, he had made such a dumb ass move. She hadn't reacted much then, but now, she could see just how much if was affecting her Bolrock, and even Bryn. She stood again, firelight reflecting in her ruby eyes as she marched up to the lightning.

"I'll tell you what's wrong, Bolrock. It's this dumb ass. What the hell were you thinking? Oh, wait, I guess you weren't. You're a loose canon, and I don't trust you. I am grateful for your saving us, but what good deed you managed to do keeps getting pushed aside by your disdain for the rest of us." Her spikes rose and bristled, her tail thrashing furiously. "All I want to do is kick...your....ass!" And she lunged at him with a fierce snarl.

Bolrock stood, surprised at her sudden attack. "Rouge, stand down!" he commanded, but the inner fire of his dragon was not to be extinguished so easily.

Byrn wasn’t expecting bolrock to stand up, but he looked into the others eyes, momentarily before glancing away to the side. He didn’t want to speak, didn’t want to tell them what was on his mind. What could they do? they couldn’t rewrite time. Words couldn’t fix how he felt about himself. He sighed, and opened his mouth to speak, before Rouge snarled.

He jumped to his feet, though, as he watched the razor lunge onto his own dragon, her anger and seething having been hidden and well. He was part of the problem. The albino razor had indeed marked a point, but that wasn’t the entirity of it.

“Ts’akab--”

What ever he was going to tell his own dragon it was lost. His whole body whipped to face the pouncing razor, his maw turned into an ugly sneer at the razor.

“I would think you would be the loose canon, Rouge.” He hissed, wings flaring as he rose to meet her attack. While they were both small, Ts’akab was still the larger of the two. “I had my reasons, I completely thought through the entire thing. I could have left him dead, Yet here he is, still alive.” The moment he felt her claws around him, did he roll, trying to pin her to the ground, twisting is length around. Static flared between his mane.

“But if it’s a fight you want, I won’t back down, you pincushion of a dragon.” He snarled.

Byrn just watched as the two started to fight, anger and frustration just welling up even more. He couldn’t...the world started to spin on him as he could feel his heartbeat starting to increase potentially with the stress of everything. Weak. Weak weak weak. He should leave. Remove himself from the entire scene and calm down, but he couldn’t get his legs to work. Being angry at his own dragon wasn’t helping, and he couldn’t see straight… he needed...he needed….

He reached out to grab at Bolrock trying not to pitch forward as his center of balance was now all over the place. “B-Bolrock.” He gasped out. The male would know what to do with how pale Byrn had suddenly gotten.

Blair gazed at her twin waiting for him to speak. Hoping and praying he would let it all come out...those hopes were dashed and stabbed. He was shutting down yet again. Blair suddenly let out a beastly growl of anger but luckily Bolrock went to Byrn and tried to urge him to say more. However, it seemed to backfire as Rouge stood and announced what almost everyone in the group knew.

She laid it out plain. Ts'akab was the cause of tension, was the cause of Byrn's deterioration. Blair stared at the lightning, the dragon Byrn had worked so hard to find and the damned thing had no clue how lucky he was to have a rider like Byrn! Her eyes narrowed as she awaited the obvious chaos that was about to unfold. Sure enough soon began the fight of fangs and talons. But Blair was afraid, Rouge had a weakness when it came to electricity and when her head whipped to look at Byrn, it was clear his heart was pounding and his face paled.

The second Blair began to scream out her rage, Krakatoa roared. The roar overpowered all other sounds in the area. Aiyana clung to Blair's shoulder protectively as the huge Bulkhead stormed over to the two dueling dragons. Not caring what he destroyed along the way.

"ENOUGH!!!!" He bellowed and thrust his great horned head between them. Tossing it about to forcefully separate them, Hissing with lava seeping from his fangs and fire pouring from his eyes, nostrils, and over his scales. He was furious and it was terrifying "Rouge you will not egg him on! Listen to your rider!" He said to the razor before he turned upon Ts'akab towering above him.

"Idiot! You static charged dimwitted fool! When will you fucking realize what you have? You have a superb rider and a group of the best allies you could hope for and yet you constantly try to weaken your rider and push these allies way! Yes, Byrn is alive thank all but now look at him! His condition was completely avoidable if you stopped to think of a way to crack your crystal without crippling him!" he snorted fire and the ground under his feet burned and sizzled.

"We can be unstoppable! But only when you stop making such ass headed choices and pushing everyone away and when you actually take care of your rider! Damn it all when you pull stunts like you do I keep asking myself why I don't kill you! And I don't because I do not want to break my Blair's heart by seeing her twin lose his dragon and to be blunt as always...You could be an amazing warrior Ts'akab! But only if you get your head out of your ass and WORK WITH YOUR TEAM! That especially includes Byrn! You have weakened him, so now you better fucking help him heal!" Again Krakatoa snorted fire on either side of the Lightning's head.

"We will begin by finding ourselves a new home. Start making yourself useful to us. You did when you helped Rouge and Bolrock, and we need that again. Is this clear?" he growled. Behind him, Blair was up against a tree. No words needed to be said, Krakatoa had mirrored pretty much everything she felt. She went to Byrn and Bolrock now, her twin was paled and she helped him up with Bolrock. He may not want her help as much but tough shit, she wasn't going anywhere.

Rouge hissed and clawed as Ts'akab rolled, partially pinning her. "You call that alive? Skab, you are such a moron, it's a wonder you've survived this long!" she was about to sink her teeth into him when Krakatoa was suddenly there, his head separating them, butting side to side until she was pushed to her feet and further away. She hissed again at the sudden flare of heat from the searing lava and fire, but even as Toa spoke, Rouge tried to get around his bulk to the lightning. "Toa! MOVE!" she roared, and Krakatoa had only just finished his speech when with a furious roar, she dove under Toa despite the dripping heat that sizzled against her steel body.

She was a white blur as she moved and sprung at Tsa'akab's side, biting into him, scratching him where she could, digging in her many of her spikes from her chest, too worked up from having bottled thing sup for so long, they were finally exploding, and sense and reason were buried beneath it.

Bolrock reached out with his arms and brought Byrn to him, seeing how pale he was, feeling his too-fast pulse. He glared as the dragons continued on, but there was nothing he could do but let them battle it out. He looked to Blair after he scooped Byrn up into his arms once more. "We've got to get away from here until these idiots fight it out," he told her, then began to jog in the opposite direction of the dragons. Away from the warmth of the fire, it was colder, but it also became quieter, and the air was less tense. He stopped at a fallen tree, where moonlight spilled into the small clearing. Bolrock then carefully sat Byrn up against it, and came to his knees before his love, as calm as could be, despite the storm that thrashed within him.

"Deep breathes, Byrn. In through your nose, out through your mouth. Focus on the air circulating within, helping you calm." As he spoke, he rummaged in what little of the supplies he had on his person. He unstrapped his belt and laid it out so he could access the pouches and small bags easier. Shit, he thought, as he realized he didn't have anything left of what he had been using with these 'attacks' on Byrn. His brain was already working though, uncapping his flask and pouring powdered herbs into it. He put his hand over the took, then shook it for a few moments, before moving his hand from the top and leaning in to Byrn. "Would you cradle his head, Blair? Byrn, We need you to drink this," he urged softly, putting the flask to Byrn's lips. The mixture would calm him within a few minutes, as it was strong for this particular need.

Byrn hissed to himself silently as Bolrock picked him up with ease. He just focused on breathing. In. Out. In. Out. He knew the drill, it had been buried in his head since they had found out of his weakened heart. The cold didn't bother Byrn much anymore, parts of him still dead (And probably wouldn't be coming back anyways.). He continued breathing, silently counting to ten.

He made a weak face at the flask, but he knew he had to drink it, it would go down easier than having to eat something. But he opened his mouth, letting his twin cradle his head. When the liquid went down his throat, he tried to not choke on the taste and he managed to swallow all of it.

He still kept breathing, not shrugging away from the group that surronded him.

"I'm...I"m sorry." He breathed out, the herbal remedy doing it's job. Already the pain was lessening as the blood slowed. His world was still spinning, as his body adjusted. He was shaking, underneath their grasp. "I'm sorry for being so....weak." He gasped out, having said it finally. Spoken the word that.

Ts'akab didn't care that Toa had stepped in between them. Pushing them both away roughly, lava dripping everywhere. He turned his gaze to Toa. He shook his head, eyes glaring at the larger bulkhead. "I do one thing that I thought was LOGICAL and Everyone suddenly starts to hound on me," He snarled, wings flaring at the larger bulkhead. "If it gets you all to shut up, I'll do what i can, obviously." he sneered, anger snarling against him.

Though, Rouge wasn't to be deterred from her attack. Skittering underneath Toa, she lunged at him, Claws and needles digging into his scales, trying to get underneath them. Ts'akab roared, His own claws gripping at her, His maw found her shoulder and he bit, digging in, not letting go. even when she tried to pull away.

With that having done, he began to charge, Electricity flowing through his mane. Perhaps a good shock from him would get her off his damned back.

Krakatoa, for a second, was satisfied enough with Ts'akab's reply and was about to try and speak to him further in a calmer tone but then....Rouge continues throwing fuel into the fire. He shuffled as the little Razor darted under his legs to attack Ts'akab again. SERIOUSLY? What the hell was her problem? Well, ok ok she had every right to be angry, hell he was furious but at least he knew when to back down.

He side stepped watching with a deep growl as the two collided and merged into one ball of heat. With his eyes turning into white fires of rage he roared again and thrashed his wings and tail as he tore towards them. His front paws seized both dragons, one in each paw and he tore them apart before Ts'akab could zap Rouge. He shook them and slammed Ts'akab down to the ground under his paw to help guard the rest of them from shocks somewhat at least.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU TWO?" He demanded, lava flying from his maw and burning whatever it touched. "I AM A BREED OF PURE DESTRUCTION AND HERE I AM PLAYING BABYSITTER! EXPLAIN TO ME HOW THAT IS ACCEPTABLE!!" His head whipped to glare at the both of them in turn "Rouge! You WILL keep Bolrock safe in Lihn! And YOU!" he shouted at Ts'akab "You will accompany Blair and I to find a suitable home and you WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUR RIDER!!"

Currently Blair was content in letting the dragons duke it out. Seeing as how Krakatoa was larger than the two of them together she felt he could hold his own. At the moment she was more focused on gently holding her dear twin and cradling his head as Bolrock gave him the herbal mixture. She gently stroked his face to help make it easier. When he spoke. Blair had to control her muscles from tensing to attack mode. Breathing deeply a couple times, she looked into his eyes.

"Byrn. My love, my life...you are NOT weak. You are the furthest thing from weak. You are the one who kept us going, you are the one who freed us from our father, you are the one who turned me into what I am today. You are not weak at all my love" She stroked his face again but bent down to kiss his lips. Softly but still with a brush of her tongue to indicate she still desired him in that way. She couldn't tell if they could reach the level of sexual frenzy that they had in the past, but she vowed to work with him and please him any way she could.

She nuzzled his cheek softly "I promise you, Bolrock and I will always help you and be there for you whenever you need it. Even after all of this I know you will not only survive, but you will come out stronger than before. You always do, my heart" Another kiss and she held him lovingly.

Rouge dug and dug, trying to get past those pesky scales, when Ts'akab bit deeply into her shoulder. She hissed in pain and tried to pull away, but it only made it worse. Her talons dug deeper into him, though she froze for a moment as she heard the unmistakable crackle going through his mane. Then Toa's roar managed to chill her to the bone, then she was being grabbed, and so was Tsa. But as Toa yanked them apart, she squealed in pain, as the lightning didn't let go until completely forced to. The shaking left her dizzy and confused, then as Toa began to yell so loudly her ears rang, she stopped thrashing n his grip, and her tail hung down limply as he glared and yelled at her more. Her anger had been shaken away, so to speak, and now, she shivered in his grip, in confusion and pain as she bled into Toa's paw. She had never, ever been that angry before. She had had no control of herself, and now, felt ashamed for it. Rouge looked away from the both of them, eyes looking wet with emotion, letting her chin rest on the bulkhead's paw as the ringing in her ears slowly subsided. She was such a horrible dragon, wasn't she? And above all, she had angered her Krakatoa, when she had been trying so hard to not do that anymore.

Bolrock, despite the fact their crystals were broken, felt an unexpected, massive sting of pain in his shoulder from Rouge. Luckily Blair was kissing Byrn then, and the dark skinned male's brief pained look and twitch most likely went unnoticed. Whether it had or not, he looked toward where they had left the dragons. It was possible the whole of Sekkai had heard Krakatoa. He sighed, ignoring the stinging pain, and smiled as he gently brushed Byrn's bangs aside. Weak, huh? That explained a lot, and honestly, he could understand Byrn on the right level. He took the younger man into his arms, and gently brought him to his chest, which was still bare, actually. He hadn't taken the time to get his shirt back, just gather up his armor and bundle it together for easier carrying.

"Weakness is defined as the individual sees fit. If you believe yourself to be weak, then it's how it shall be. Neither of us see you as such, Byrn." He stroked Byrn's hair, and giving Blair a thoughtful look, gently drew her twin back so he could see his face. "Byrn. Would you come with Us to Lihn? We can work with you that way, make you strong again. It's up to you, but know that if you choose to come, We won't go easy on you." He grinned a little, then brought out an arm to scoop around Blair's waist and tuck her to his side. He kissed her forehead and held her close, too. "Blair, We would ask for you to come, too, but there must be someone able to find us a new home. As you search, We will make new armor, new weapons, and help Byrn become stable again. When we come back, we will be a force to be reckoned with. We know you can manage it, and feel safe with you since you have Krakatoa." He paused, then actually rolled his eyes, a very unlike Bolrock thing to do, so it perhaps made it more lighthearted.

"Rouge and Ts'akab will be forced to learn how to get along. We will keep in contact regularly, if Aiyana is up to it."

Was this asking too much of his Blair? Having Byrn with him was majorly pushing his luck, but Bolrock was determined as hell to make things right again. And he would.

Before Ts'akab could even think of Realizing his bolt of lightning through her, he was being ripped apart from the Razor. He could taste blood, and he snarled. He didn't like the weight pushing down on him. He didn't like this. All he wanted to do was to do things his /way/. He shook his mane.

"GET OFF ME TOA" He snarled at the large Bulkhead. "We are /not/ going to get anywhere being SAT ON."

He was shaking, enraged, tired. He dug his claws into the ground and began to push up against the larger bulkhead. Even if he wasn't full grown, he was still a hassle to get out from. But he squirmed none the less, tail thrashing.

Byrn listened to both of them. A spike of irritation shot through him when Blair kept trying to coddle him, but Bolrock. Bolrock words soothed him more than Blair's could at the moment, and it was no fault of hers. Bolrock seemed to know what he needed to hear--rather than just coddling. With his breathing still slightly erratic, but his heart beat was slower now, less painful. The world was slowly starting to stop spinning on him and he could focus.

"I. I would like that, yes." He agreed to Bolrocks' suggestion of him accompanying him. Blair would be fine with Toa to protect her. While it would be the first time that the twins had been separated for longer than a day or so, He had confidence that they would be alright. He pulled away from Blair to sit up more, and ran a hand through his hair.

"I bet they're going to be thrilled about it." He briefly wondered how the razor and the lightning was going to take to the news. For the most part they were still under the impression it would just be Bolrock going. Ah well, they'd sort it out. Right now, he felt like sleeping, exhaustion suddenly creeping up on him.

So sayeth the Spider
At first, Blair felt a pang of worry as she always did. When Bolrock suddenly suggested that she and Krakatoa go to seek a new home for the group, Blair was unsure what to feel. Excitement? Fear? Jealously? All of these swirled in her mind. She nodded to him all the same. They could count on her. But then something happened. As Byrn reacted to both she and Bolrock, something akin to icy water ran through her. Blair’s arms seemed to go limp and her hands fell to the Earth as her twin pulled away. Her head rose and she looked into the darkness of the forest.

Krakatoa growled at Ts’akab but his attention turned to Rouge as she went limp in his grasp. He looked at her a moment and forced himself to calm (which was hard) and gently placed her down “I am not mad at you. I just want you to control yourself so you do not come to harm!” he said sternly and whipped his head back to Ts’akab. But anything he was about to say from the Lightning was lost when he had an inner feeling that Blair needed him badly. Even with a cracked crystal and mangled bond, he could sense when she needed him somehow.

“Come on” He suddenly said and nudged Rouge to go ahead of him and let Ts’akab up from his weight. He Bulkhead surged through any remaining trees in his path. He stormed up right behind his rider and glared at everyone with his flaming eyes. Silently demanding to know what was going on. But Blair stood silently and gently stroked his leg. A wordless command to stay put for the moment and all was well. Though he could feel it wasn’t.

Blair looked at Byrn. The fire and shadows dancing on her face that concealed much of the spreading yellow in her eyes. She looked at him silently before calmly walking past him to Bolrock. She took his hands and held them, squeezed them really and looked deep into his eyes. She was pressed against him them and her lips found his. It was a kiss melded with sweet tenderness and longing passion. No doubt Bolrock could feel everything in her heart just from that kiss alone. When she finally parted from him, she looked up at him with a look only he could read clearly read. “Take care of him” She said softly. But then in a voice that held worlds of emotion and meaning, she added to him “I love you”

Then, almost painfully, she turned away and went straight to her dragon. Passing Byrn as she went. “Krakatoa. We have work to do. We need to find a new home for all of us” She looked into the eyes on his face and placed her hand on his nose. The Bulkhead nodded and lowered his head for her to mount up. When she was ready he glanced to Byrn and Bolrock before then turning to Rouge. He suddenly gave her a tender nuzzle and then in a very serious yet soft tone, he spoke to her.

“Do not let Ts’akab get to you. You are better than that” And with that, the young Bulkhead turned and walked on for a short period until he had room to lift off. And he did, in a fiery display of flame leaving him visible even as he flew higher and farther into the night sky into the unknown with his rider. Who’s tears he could feel deep within.

Rouge winced as, even though Toa was gentle, it hurt to even stand. She still couldn't look at him as he talked sternly with her, but she did answer with a soft 'Okay'. As he nudged her to walk, she did so, but seemed to slow with her pain, and moved aside so the Bulkhead could crash ahead. She didn't even look at the lightning, and didn't even join Toa. She just came to lay near the abandoned fire, but she did watch him, as they weren't that far away. As Bolrock was closed to her on a normal basis, having her crystal shattered wasn't much of a difference. But right now, she felt something from him. A brewing frustration, an anger he had tried to keep locked down. She lifted her head, but didn't get up to move to him. He didn't need that right now.

Bolrock's expression changed slightly as Byrn moved away from Blair. He felt it as clearly as he would a wound to his skin, as once again, he witnessed a change of Byrn reacting to his sister. He stood as Blair did, one hand slightly rising toward her, but then came Toa, to comfort her. Blair was in pain inside, now more than ever, a wound reopening once again. Blair walked past Byrn to take his hands, and Bolrock gripped them firmly. She pressed herself to him, and he met her kiss lovingly. Then she was pulling away, and he longed to go after her, and just hold her there to him. "Blair," he said softly, but she was climbing onto Krakatoa. He nodded to the dragon, his expression neutral now, if not a bit firm.

Rouge felt her heart skip beats. They were leaving, right now? Toa spoke to her, but she didn't get the chance to say anything back, as he turned abruptly and left. "But, Toa...wait!" she cried out to him, wings partly opening to take wing and follow, but she didn't. Slowly she tucked them back to her sides, and flopped down dishearteningly to the ground, not even caring the careless motion upset her injury.

Bolrock turned to Byrn then, and supporting him, helped him back to the fire. He made sure Byrn was comfortable on what bedding they had, then moved to tend to Rouge, who looked so heart broken, he tried to cheer her up. But not being exactly cheerful himself, it was a weak effort. He cradled her head in his lap, and looked out into the sky in the direction Blair had left. He knew she'd be safe, but he didn't like how things had ended here. He closed his eyes and battled down his own fiery emotions. He wasn't mad at either one of them in general, but something needed to change. Byrn had been acting too against his sister lately, ever since just before they bonded to their dragons. Bolrock would make Byrn strong again, teach him how he could be active and not work up his heart, and hopefully confront him on what the hell was going on.

Because he hated to see either one of them unhappy. Especially Blair. It tore him up inside, and again, he beat down his negative emotions. They'd head in to Lihn tomorrow, and get started. But for now, they'd rest. Well, Bolrock knew he wouldn't sleep that night. Rouge wanted to be alone, so Bolrock came back to be beside Byrn on the bedding, letting the fire heat his bare skin. He would have held the other, but from his reaction to Blair, didn't want to irritate him with any cuddling. Instead, he let Byrn sleep, and still, looked out into the darkness where his Blair had left.

Be safe, my love.
