Dark had descended swiftly upon the Tainted masses lying in wait on the desolate landscape they called home. Horrors of every description, size, and cruelty released like a flock of slavering doves at a horrific wedding had left the shore of the lakeside somewhat empty, even though several stayed behind to attend to, or rather territorially protect, their liberal supply of alcohol. The cages were empty, or at least most of them were. Through the raucous caterwauling that remained, if one listened closely, little sounds could be heard. Hoarse little howls, grunts, and pipping emanated from one of the smaller yet unopened cages as a small mass of terrible furballs attempted to escape and join the hunt with their much larger brethren. "Shut up you flea-bitten mongrels!" A large, already drunken man shouted, kicking the iron bars with his foot. His own dragon had gone off with the hunt and couldn't frighten the little brats into silence anymore, so he was left to deal with them. "Not sure why we had'ta bring you lot anyway. Get a better price at the Well," he grumbled in drunken slurs as he reclined back against the one long table he'd chosen to sit at. Refilling his mug with another strong ale, he drank until wingbeats heralded the return of the hunt, and by then, he was groggy enough to slump over the table in a fit of snoring, his watch over the cage forgotten. Within, one of the biggest of the small creatures seemed to take notice, the spark of intelligence in her three pairs of eyes telling any that dared look into their cruel depths that there would be no stopping her. With a decisive grunt, one of her heads snapped at a smaller male, who yipped from three frightened maws and scuttled out of her way. The large, dominant female cerberi hooked one set of powerful jaws around one of the bars and tugged viciously. Metal creaked and groaned, but otherwise didn't budge. Three heads snarled in unison at their plight, but opportunity was around the corner. Unseen above, a Revenant dragon glided with his kill. The dragon, cloaked in corrosive gas, flew low, spreading his vapors haphazardly beneath him, uncaring what might have been in the way. He had made his catch and kill and could have cared less. Below, as he passed, corrosive mist descended upon the cage, eating away at the strong metal bars as easily as water through sugar. They weakened, turning reddish brown to rust in moments. The dominant female pup saw the opportunity, but she was not the only one. One of the upstart male pups saw it as well, and both converged upon the weakened bars together, running into each other. Their impact turned into a whirling storm of conflict as all six of their heads bit and barked and ripped whatever they could reach in an attempt to dethrone the large female. They'd forgotten about the weak spot in their moment of heated combat, but it didn't matter, because their fight shattered the corroded bars into rusted dust. They rolled unceremoniously over the dirt and fought for several more seconds before they realized they were free, no longer pushed up against their brothers and sisters in the cage too small for their horrific forms. Both stopped, sextets of eyes blinking in confusion at their new surroundings as other pups poured forth from the hole in the cage. Almost immediately, both dominant pups forgot their quarrel and tore off into the midst of the celebration as dragons and riders returned with their kills to eat and drink their fill. It was time to play. Come and get your cerberi! Seriously, if characters want one of these, they have to catch them (or be in the right place at the right time). Just as in the case of the gargoyles, these pups are limited one per player, so choose which character you want to have one wisely! Simply post the character you wish to bond in this thread. They can be doing literally anything, seeing a rambunctious cerberus pup and going to catch it, just sitting around watching the chaos, or whatever you want. These pups are unpredictable and may give chase as easily as curl up next to someone's feet and never leave. (Offerings of food might be effective as well XD ) The only restrictions are phoenixes, of course. If your character already has a phoenix, they cannot have a cerberus. Enjoy! ![]() |

Byrn watching puppies and maybe liking one With the celebration in full swing, Byrn grinned. Sure, the lightning rider felt something different, felt odd, but drinking his ale and occasionally slapping his sisters behind in play, there was nothing but excitement. Adrenaline coursed through him and he gorged on the food that was brought (Only avoiding those that he knew was human.) He didn't care what his Lightning dragon was doing at the moment, nor did he see it fit to go find what the lightning dragon was up too. He sat and munched on his food, letting others go around. Of course, if he was pushed or jostled in his spot, the lighting rider would curse and vow vengeance on the person. Whether he'd follow through or not was beside the point. Being a lightweight it was entirely possible that the lightning rider was starting to feel buzzed. And perhaps a bit horny as well. "Good for nothing dragon." He mumbled to himself but he grinned as he found another piece of meat and tore into it. They never wanted for food, but sometimes the lightning rider had an appetite, and it was one of these times were he just wanted to stuff his face full of food. Though, while he may have some drink in him, he wasn't entirely unawares of what was going on. Though he grinned at the darker male. Especially when the small three headed dogs started to run through the tables. He watched with faint interest as they romped, the dominant ones sticking out in his mind. Ohhohoho. Look at them go. He could see the mischievous look in their eyes. "Now look, Yorek. Who do you suppose let the dogs out?" He asked of one of his companions. They were tiny, and it reminded him of when he had his own pup. The Lightning rider seemed to have a soft spot for the small creatures. Because they could grow up to be fierce predators. On a whim, he whistled and held out some food for one. Really, he was going to feed them, and why not? It was a celebration after all. They looked to need some fun out of it. He wiggled the enticing meat and whistled again. Perhaps one would come. OF course, food was a good entice for the pup. Within moments the pup had launched itself at the meat, perhaps landing on the rider himself and jaws snapping for the meat- |

Gareth brooding over his situation, then getting his bow stolen by a pup to chase down There was a certain beauty to his misery, Gareth realized as he took another long draw off of his ale. He hadn't taken off with the rest of the Legion that went after the prisoners. He had no dragon--which was fine by him at this point--and he wasn't about to get stepped on by a bigger dragon just to hunt something he wouldn't eat anyway. He'd just go hunting later after he slept off his hangover. He still had his bow--one of the only things that hadn't been taken from him in this hellhole. Anaphylaxis be damned, he should have had a dragon like Krakatoa or Glaive, some monstrous brute, not a skinny little oozing gnat. She had ruined everything, and even without her he seemed to be screwed. He'd been trying for months to find a way over the channel and back into the mainland mountains where he could simply travel north and go back home, but he seemed to be blocked at every turn. He hadn't started his heavier drinking yet by the time dragons started to filter back with their catches, and in the noise of the crackling fires, monstrous roaring and cackling, and every other hells be damned noise he didn't hear the creature that padded toward him with a sudden interest in his bow that he'd leaned against the table. But he did notice the moment it disappeared from his sight. Slamming down his mug, Gareth shouted at the retreating tails of the cerberus. "Hey! Give that back you little asshole!" He yelled and vaulted off of the bench he'd been sitting on. However, instead of stall the pup, it just seemed to entice it. One of the heads looked back at him mischievously and the middle one gave a small challenging howl. The last on the side dragged his longbow through the dirt as four legs bounced the pup away at a speed he hadn't been expecting. The cerberus disappeared into a throng of legs a moment later, tripping some drunken miscreants on the way. Gareth shouted curses at the pup, swearing under his breath that if the bowstring got broken he was going to kill the little bastard and make a new one out of its guts. He'd have only been made more upset if he knew of the pair of hellish red eyes that watched him from the sidelines, amused at his plight but still burning with anger at his abandonment. He would get no help from the Influenza, or anyone else it seemed. Already most were far too drunk to even notice that he was chasing the three headed monstrosity through the crowd. The crowd got so thick at one point that he had to stop and stand on his tip toes to see where the cerberus had gotten off to. He'd lost that crafty little scamp and he yelled in impatient frustration before shoving through the throng again. He'd have to get to the edge of the crowd and get his bearings to track the beast. If anything he hoped it would grow disinterested with his bow and just leave it lying somewhere that he could pick it up. But several minutes later proved he would have no such luck, as when he finally surfaced from the crowd, he saw the creature standing in a clear space with the bow on the ground at its feet. It looked at him, all six eyes taunting before it reached down and grabbed his weapon and darted off again. "I'll break all three of your little necks!" he shouted and took off after it again. He could not lose anything else to this place. |

Marlowe being dragged by his BBF to Lake of Tears for a puppy! Important Note: I have permission by Goth to use the characters Blair and Toa to get the ball rolling. Marlowe let out another wide, brimming yawn. He'd lost count of just how many he'd had since he was unceremoniously awoken. He'd fallen asleep across his lab table, working to recreate an old poison. He hadn't even realized he had been asleep until someone pounded on the door to his lab. Groaning as he got up, Marlowe hobbled over to the door and opened it to find an over excited Blair jumping up and down, raving about Cerberi pups being loose in the Desolation. His mind wasn't fully honed to ponder such information so soon after being awoken, but he did remember mentioning to Blair how it would be nice to have an animal companion, like she had Aiyana, and apparently she did as well. Mar stretched himself and went to the kitchen to grab some raw deer flank, hoping that that might entice one of the pups closer, and placed it in a basket strapped over his shoulder. He dragged the newest member of his home, Gallifrey, out of bed and along with him for the trek. He feared that the man might just run off and get lost, or incur the wrath of his servants if he wasn't there. He certainly didn't want that to happen and Gale would be a fool to run away on the island; more dangers there than in the wilds of Vidalaner. It didn't take long to reach the island and Marlowe hopped off Krakatoa's back before the other two, helping them both down as was his gentlemanly nature. He followed close behind Blair as she led him to where a large group of pups were gathered and playing. Mar sat down on the ground, crossed legged, smiling as he watched the masses of fur romp around and play to their little heart's content. He laughed as he watched a pair tumble and fight and made a little sound of sympathy when the loser limped away. Mar noticed a few, close by, sniffing the air in search of the meat he'd brought. Pulling the strap off his shoulder, Mar opened the basket and pulled out the deer flank; making little kissing noises to grab the pup's attention. |

Linnet, confused and maybe a little scared, but approaching a more submissive pup Open for human/dragon interaction also The Great Spirit of Gravity, Rais, had deposited Linnet on the edge of the wildest party the young Druid had ever seen. Despite the frenzy of activity, she could see that there were once far more people here than there were at present. A great many had left. As she skirted the edges, avoiding people who seemed drunk and extremely disorderly, she noticed signs of other Great Spirits, but many of them, too, seemed to have left. Despondent at this lack, Linnet nevertheless slowly made her way into the chaos. It had been a long flight with the Gravity Spirit, and she was hungry! Linnet saw many people, most of whom were drunk, but few so much as glanced at her. The one who did was dissuaded from approaching her by the brandishing of her walking stick. The man shrugged and stumbled away. There was food in abundance, and Linnet took bits and pieces, sticking mainly to fruit and vegetables, though these were more scarce than the meat, and she took some of that as well. When she had sufficient sustenance on a small swatch of cloth she snitched from a table, she found a dark, quiet corner to eat in. Showing her preference, she nibbled first on the plant matter, delighted to have more to eat than what she had been scrounging in the forest. After a time, just as she was starting to eye the meat she had gathered, a snout poked around the edge of her little hiding place. "Hello, little pup!" she called softly. "What are you doing wandering in such a--" Her question cut off as a second snout joined the first, then a third. All three rounded the corner and stared at the meat in her lap, but came no closer. "I have never seen the like of you, wolf-friend," she told it, marveling at the smooth conjuncture of three necks to a single pair of shoulders. "Would you like some food?" She offered the pup a piece of meat, but as her hand came closer, the pup began to growl. "Wolf-friend, that is no way to treat someone who is trying to feed you," she said sternly, but her hand did not waver. "You can have this only if you stop growling at me. I'll not have such disrespect from you." |

It was folly, all of it. The large female pup grunted, pulling herself to her feet as she disentangled herself from her equally dominant brother. No longer forced to be near each other, she decided she had far better things to do than put him in his place. Not that she couldn't, she was bigger and stronger than any of the hapless whelps she'd been caged with and every single head knew that truth even as each snarled and snapped at other small pups while they careened past her to participate in their own adventures. She wasn't interested in silly play, but she did know exactly what she wanted. Decisively, the three headed hound of hell turned on thick, sturdy legs and trotted toward the throngs of people where the smell of flesh both cooked and not drew her. Great strings of saliva dripped from each maw as the smells made her stomach growl. Recently weaned, she had decided that she couldn't get enough meat. But where she searched, there was no fresh food to be found. It was all in the hands of those tall, two-legged things. A low grumbled escaped her barrel-thick chest as she moved through and under tables, away from the stomping feet of humans and dragons alike, following scents every way that she could in order to find a scrap to devour. Emerging from one table, she nearly bumped her central head on the edge, which came as no surprise considering that she seemed to be taller in the front than in the back. Her forelegs and shoulders were powerfully built, descending to a sloped back with equally muscle thick hindlegs. Curiously, her coloration was muted tones of brownish grey with bigger, darker spots intermittently spaced on her fur. Dark, near black fur covered her legs and tails, the same coarse hair rising from each neck like a stiff mohawked mane. It was each head upon her that seemed less hound-like than most other cerberi. Short, broad muzzles and great dished ears made her look like something foreign, even to the commonfolk of the Taint. For any that had traveled the world abroad, they might have pegged her as similar to the hyenas living in the southern regions near Esam, only she was much more thickly built, far more savage, and could probably eat a hyena for breakfast if given the chance. All of a sudden, something caught the she-cerberus's attention. Two of her heads turned, lips peeling back into a savage snarl. What was that horrible, high pitched noise? The whistle that drew her attention in the first place revealed to her what she'd been seeking all along. She let out a short baying sound and stalked toward the person holding out the food. Heads low to the ground and muscles coiled to spring if it was some sort of stupid trap, she approached. If it tried to hurt her, she would rip its hand off, or worse. In a motion quick as lightning, her center head snapped out and her jaws clamped around the meat, snatching it away from the man offering it as she jumped away a few feet to devour her prize. She had outwitted him! Too fast for the likes of some silly human! But then she realized he had more food...and she'd have to try again if she wanted more. (It is Yorek trying for a Cerberus : ) Blair was just here already lol) Yorek getting his first taste of Tainted life thanks to Byrn and Blair. Decides to approach and see if a pup notices him Really Yorek was all too grateful Byrn had gathered him to come along. Blair it seemed had looked for him but decided to give him the option of following when she could not find him. Well, it was his fault for getting up in the middle of the night to make a cup of tea really. But then how many times did Blair come into his room while he was sleeping? Yes, he had come to the Trio's new home. He was unsure if he'd stay permanently or not, but it was harder to leave the academy than he had thought. Mostly because of Marice, but at least she was safe. All the same he felt bad leaving her, but the 'call of the wild' as he dubbed it was too strong and he had met up with Blair & his brother Bolrock to see if the Tainted life was for him. He still wrote Marice often of course. In reality he did feel more comfortable in the dark castle. He was warmly welcomed by his family and felt less out of place. Sure Byrn still eyed him warily but he liked the young man all the same. Hell it was he who offered him a ride to see what Blair and Krakatoa were so excited about! The gorey bloodbath Yorek witnessed did not upset him as perhaps it should have. It was the way of life, though he did not care for the malice behind some of the attacks, killing itself did not affect him unless it was someone he loved or a true innocent. His mind went blank when he saw the Sekkaian riders attacked. He just hoped it was nobody he knew. Blair was in great spirits. She seemed surrounded by friends and her wave of killing had put she and Krakatoa in the most upbeat moods he had seen in a while! Hell when Krakatoa had brought in a freaking Earth dragon he had killed, Yorek had to admit he was impressed. But for now, he relaxed and drank and chatted with the others. Though he was probably the first to notice the sudden event of a cage spilling out a sea of Cerberi puppies. Yorek had never seen one until DarDanos. He had a fondness for Byrn's great beast. Far more-so than his dragon, but then Yorek had always been skilled with animals. Hence his old "job" He laughed with Byrn as he also noticed the pups. "Looks like they let themselves out my friend. That or someone is going to be in real trouble and possibly lose a limb!" he chuckled as Byrn, in an oddly sweet gesture went to offer food to them. So it did not surprise him really when a particularly big female took him up on his offer. Yorek knew a bond when he saw one. "Well I dare say! Looks like DarDanos has a mate now....or a mistress" He also knew an Alpha when he saw one! "Yorek! Here, try it out!" Blair suddenly was before him shoving meat in his hands. Yorek knew it best not to ask just where any meat offered by Blair came from. He had to admit grotesque as they were, these pups were indeed charming to him. Maybe it was the ale he had just drank but surely one would just take the meat and bound off right? He took a slightly different approach and began singing a softer tune to see if it attracted any attention. "Hark, hear the howl that eats the moon alive, the moon alive! your fur it is on fire, the smoke turns the whole sky raven black and the world upon your back will crack..." He remembered hearing that song sung by other slaves at the sound of rain or wolves howling. Buts surely it would not grab the attention of a young cerberus, would it? Only one way to find out! "Marlowe!" Blair hugged on her friend. She was overjoyed by the sight of puppies but she knew Aiyana wouldn't dare let one bond to her. Which made her sad, but she was touched by how deeply the Phoenix was bonded to her. Even now the bird glared at any pups in eye shot. But really she wanted to see Marlowe bond to one. Hell now that she and Krakatoa could not be there to protect the property, he deserved a loyal guardian! She too had a couple drinks so was merry but not drunk thank goodness. "I got more cuts if you need them! Aw look at them! Aren't they cute?" She squeezed a chunk of muscle to send blood dripping into a glass of wine before sipping it. Life was good! |

Marlowe happily agreeing with Blair and giving Gale fair warning. Mar nodded at Blair's observation, after having the flank ripped away from his hand. He watched as the hunk of meat was ripped into by the ferocious little pup, only to be snatched away by one bigger than he. Poor little thing scampered away with it's tail between it's legs. "I dare say they are and will be very intimidating once they're older. It will be a nice change to have a pet for once, mother and father never allowed me any; unless you count their dragons and test subjects. I myself do not." As he went to grab another piece of meat from Blair's cluster when he caught sight of Gale out of the corner of his eye. He watched him for a few moments, carefully observing what he was doing. "I'd highly recommend not trying to find any means of escape here. This place is even more dangerous that the wilderness back home and you are ill equipped to brave through the terrain. Just relax for a while and enjoy the sight of the pups. Who knows, perhaps one will bond to you." |

On the fringes of the activity, one of the quieter pups lingered, waiting for something interesting to happen that didn't involve his siblings ripping each other's faces off. Yes, he'd watched the dominant female and her equally dominant brother squabble and break the cage, and he was better than that. He was sneakier, smarter, and altogether more handsome than both of them. The heads on either side of him swiveled, tall, erect, triangular ears twitching as he took in his surroundings. This pup was a world different than the huge dominant female. Where she was broad and stocky, he was lithe. For a cerberus, even his fur, which seemed as though it should have been matted and unseemly, had a silk-like smoothness to its ebony surface. It was also shorter, covering his entire sleek body save in a few places where it turned into a caramelized tan. Socks of tan on his feet, muzzle, inner ears, chest, and specks of tan above each of his six eyes stood out starkly against the ebon tinge of the rest of him. When he grew he would still be vicious, but he would be a stealthy, cunning, and relentless creature. Though for now, his puppy sized belly was empty, and it was a strange noise that drew his attention to someone nearby, holding out something that smelled exactly like food. Tentatively, so as not to jump into a dangerous situation too soon, the pup slinked toward the person, all six nostril's flaring. Eyes of warm almond brown gazed questioningly at the human as he didn't move to get away. Prey that didn't run? Well that was cause for concern. Three heads lifted and barked, demanding the human toss some of that delicious smelling meat his way. He wasn't about to approach until he knew the offer was good. Marlowe bonding with the little doberman pup. Marlowe shook his head and sighed at the man before his attention was given back to the pups, making more kissing noises at them all. One little pup in particular came forward, sleek, black, and sharp well defined features. He carried himself with poise and dignity that most of the other pups certainly didn't possess though he was smaller than them. However, what he lacked in size, Marlowe gathered, he must have made up for in intellect. When the creature barked at him, keeping a safe distance away, that confirmed it for Marlowe. Intelligent, sleek, and sophisticated; this was the pup he wanted. He threw the meat at him and watched as he wolfed it down in seconds. He came a little closer and demanded more, to which Mar happily complied. With each bite, the lithe cerberus came closer and closer as Mar decreased his throwing range little by little. Eventually, the pup was close enough to touch and Marlowe grabbed a smaller cut of meat, hoping the pup would take it from his hand. The sleek cerberus was hesitant, eyeing Marlowe suspiciously but crept closer still. Finally, it took the piece; slowly to test Mar's trustworthiness. The mad genius only smiled at the pup, telling him he too was trusting the pup not to bite his hand. The cerberus cocked it's head curiously after taking the bite and chanced a sniff of Mar's hand who responded by opening it up further. The little cerberus smelled him a little more before deciding he liked this human who offered him food and didn't seem to mind doing it. To thank him, and maybe get more, he licked Marlowe's hand, his two heads on either side following suit and licking the man's whole arm. Mar beamed and turned to his best friend; Blair. "What do you think of the name Anubis?" He asked. |

Blair nearly bursts in joy at Marlowe bonding to a pup. Yorek still attempting Blair had to do a double take when she saw the dominant female pup go to her brother. Goodness, now he had TWO? Her confusion lasted only a moment before realizing that the potential for breeding was there. An army or Cerberi! Such a wonderful thought! But man, could Byrn handle two Cerberi and that douche of a dragon? She looked to Aiyana on her shoulder with a glare "And why won't you let others in to enjoy my love? I can't have a puppy?" In response, Aiyana gave a squawk before wrapping her wings possessively around Blair's head. Blair gave a sad groan. When she was able to free her face from the teal feathers, Blair's eyes were rewarded to the scene of a sleek pup approaching Marlowe. She stood still as her friend very cleverly initiated the bond to form. And when it did, Blair felt a tear run down her face in joy. When she was sure it was safe to do so, she approached the new pair. "Oh Marly! he's beautiful!" She said looking at Anubis with adoring eyes "Oh my goodness look at him! He's built for speed that one! He's perfect!" She said before making sweet coos at the pup "You're gonna keep my Marly safe aren't ya boy? Aren't ya? Oooh you're so cute!" Blair talking baby talk was reserved for animals. Yorek watched with a chuckle. Granted he was a tiny bit jealous, but not in a bad way as he was happy that Blair was so happy for her dear friend. Soon she was approaching him as well. As usual she gave him a soft nuzzle which Yorek returned. It was platonic, much like a loving wolf pack. She smiled at him in an encouraging manner and urged him on silently before going back to her twin to congratulate him with kisses and nibbles. The tall young man took a bit more meat and crouched down to be more at level with the young Cerberi. Eye contact was important as well as not intimidating them as he had learned with training young horses and other beasts. He sang softer now feeling the blood from the flesh in his hands drip from his fingers back to the earth. |

Glaive guarding his kills, Pan making a bee-line for friendlier faces. The massive metal returned to a scene of pure chaos. He dropped the water he had been dragging and shook off the air that had been splayed across his back. Due to the blades that littered his spine the carcass came off in pieces, great fleshy chunks which hit the ground around him and slammed into anyone close enough not to flee. His rider took this moment as his chance to experience freedom. He slid from the saddle and hit the ground in a roll. He sighed as he clambered back to his feet and did his best to disentangle himself from the drape of fresh skin which was his newly gifted “cape” if you could call the still warm skin of the slain air a cape at all. It was affixed about his throat with a “clasp” of solidified metal which had bonded to his shirt and chest alike. The boy watched the pups scamper around the site with great abandon. He glanced back at Glaive, who had positioned himself over the corpses of his kills like a guard. Great metallic wings were spread like a bird of prey and he hunkered down to guard them until this problem cleared itself. Panahasi took this dirstracition as the perfect time to slip away. He watched the pups only enough to ensure he wasn’t hit, and aimed to join up with a group of people he recognized, even if he didn’t trust them much outside of the one handing out scraps of meat. With Glaive left behind the one handed lad relaxed and fell quietly amongst the others. He had grown at least an inch and some of his lankiness had filled out. The most dramatic change in the doll like boy was his hair. The flowing silver blonde locks had been hacked away until they were close to his head and choppy. He did not speak, instead he allowed himself the comfort of less hostile presences. |

Byrn bonding to another, Dardanos not sure what to make of it as he comes to investigate. Really, Byrn hadn't expected a pup to come over to him. All in all, the Lightning rider already had a cereberus's, and surely, these were someone else's pup. It wouldn't be right for him to just take a pup. But as he whistled, one of the dominant pups that had been fighting before leaving the group made it's way over. And wasn't she a sight. Byrn had not seen anything like her before. Where as Dardanos was dark black/brown with silver, this one was an odd mottle of brown greys with darker spots. A mane stood on each of the necks melding onto powerful shoulders and oh was she powerfully built. Where Dardanos's face was more wolf like, hers was more stubby and the ears were comical dishes. But he had no doubt that this creature wouldn't be twice as Savage as DarDanos could be. Hell as she grew, she might even give the elder a run for his money. But He could tell that she was hungry. And Oh was she hungry. Sitting as calmly as he could, he let the pup snap the meat from his hand, unafraid of the pups teeth. He chuckled as she tore into the meat and devoured it as fast as she could. But then her eyes turned back to him. Within the savage eyes, Byrn could see intelligence in there. She wanted more, and while she was wary of him, she knew that he would have more. "Another one? What would my Sister think?" He carefully found another large piece of meat and held it out, more closer to him now. "I don't even know what Dar will think. He's so used to being just mine." The she-pup bayed again, at the sight of food, and much like before, shot out at it, teeth tearing into the meat. He let her jump away to eat, and repeated the process. My, this little pup had an appetite. He wasn't worried about that, as he was about Dardanos responding to this small creature. Speaking of the larger Cerberus, he could feel the footfalls of his larger companion and laughed when one head nudged him playfully. The Cerberus, having returned from running with the larger beasts wanted attention. Though Dardanos's attention was suddenly drawn to the tiny welp that had grown closer and closer to Byrn. Ears perked up, the larger three headed dog grew close to the pup. What was this thing and why was it so close to his bonded? So he got as close as he could to the pup Which did not set well with the dominant pup. She jumped when the nose suddenly intruded on her personal spot and she snarled, barking loudly at the larger Cerberus. Hair suddenly standing on end she snarled and snapped. Dardanos huffed, as she launched her furry ass at the large dog and landed on his paw, jaws trying to clamp around his massive ankle, claws digging. Dardanos gave his own growl but before he could do anything to shake the pup off, Byrn was shouting. "Hey HEY HEY BEHAVE." He lunged, His arms wrapping around the pups middle as he managed to pull her off DarDanos. DarDanos shook his paw, and began to lick the minimal damage that the pup had down. She did not like this. She was trying to show that oversized dog that she was in charge. That she was not to be trifled with. And now this two legged creature had her in his lap. Before She could snap at him, the Lightning rider offered her another, larger piece of meat as a peace offering. "You need to calm down. You are too tiny to be playing power games at the moment," He told the young one. "And now you need a name, since you've obviously decided" he dodged her snapping jaws as she began to gnaw into the meat. "To stick with me and DarDanos. How about." he paused, watching her having finished most of the meat, and now working contentedly on the bone, jaws having slight difficulty with the size, but as she would grow, bones would be much much more easier for her. "Shenzi" Crunch. "Well, Yorek, I was not expecting this." He told the younger brother of Bolrock. DarDanos gave a huff, And Byrn laughed, reaching out to pet one of the larger heads while the She-pup gnawed on a bone in his lap. "I just am probably either not going to hear the end of it from my sister or my dragon....." |
