Mar bonding further with his pup then aiding Gale with his new pup. Marlowe smiled and laughed joyously, blind and deaf to the rest of the world around him, now that Anubis showed great promise. He was using a bit of training to bond further with the young cerberus and Anubis was already sitting and begging at his command. Mar clicked his mouth every time a trick was perfected and gave the pup a treat with some praise; usually a 'good boy' and a scratch to all three pairs of his ears. Having animals test subjects, he had a firm knowledge of sound training for certain animals. Dogs, dires, and cerberi were all similar in their learning capabilities, with dires and cerberi being a fair bit more intelligent that the average dog. Combined with the fact that his pup was of Doberman heritage, one of the most easily trained of the canine family, Anubis was above and beyond a star pupil. The sleek hellhound seemed to enjoy this as well, feeling as though he was finally getting a taste of the life he was meant for. Receiving praise and treats for only doing mind-numbingly simple tasks wasn't exactly what he'd pictured, but for now it would do. His human would soon have to be trained to accommodate his lifestyle, but for now he let him have his fun. Mar was just about to start the 'shake' command when he noticed Gale, rubbing his leg after a Hyaenodon pup bit into it. He frowned and reached for his first aid kit on Toa's back, but paused when he saw another pup approach the man who proceeded to lick and nibble his leg. Before Gale could react, Mar spoke up. "Gallifrey!" He projected. "Don't move or else he'll start biting to try and hold you down!" He reached up to grab more meat and patted his thigh, signalling for Anubis to follow; which he did. Mar then crouched down next to Gale, standing on the balls of his feet before offering the Dingo the meat. "Have to show him which is food and which one isn't." He said with a warm smile to the man. "Afterward, we'll get your leg cleaned and wrapped. Don't want to risk getting an infection." Anubis, meanwhile, looked at the other cerberus; cocking his head to the side and wondering how long it would take the tanned pup to learn that these humans weren't on the menu. |

Gareth giving up the chase as his day is saved by one of the pups He didn't have a chance to catch the pup with his weapon before a fuzzy white blur came out of nowhere and attacked it, causing it to yelp and scamper off elsewhere. He stopped to take in the scene before him that lasted for only a few seconds. The other pup gave up the chase quickly enough, not willing to risk injury it seemed just for a silly game. What stood in its place after it scampered off was the strangest, most despicably beautiful things he'd ever encountered. He watched her, mesmerized temporarily by her thick, snow-white fur and curiously pink noses. He'd seen an albino direwolf before in his father's village where they bred them for warriors and hunters alike, but this was no direwolf, no matter how similar her mannerisms were as she tested the length of wood and sinew left on the ground by her brother. Gareth almost leapt forward to scare her off of his last weapon, but something held him in awe and kept his feet firmly glued to the ground even when the middle head took up the bow and the entire beast sauntered toward him with it secured gently between those jaws. Looking up at him with eyes like chips of ice beneath deep winter snow, she then dropped the bow at his feet and waited. "Well, I suppose you expect a reward for that little deed of heroism?" He raised an eyebrow and she continued to stare. He could practically feel that expectation radiating off of her. At first, he hadn't given a shit one way or the other about some stupid rampaging cerberi pups, but what he saw before him was a sudden realization of a savior. Not just for his weapon, but from this horrid, desolate wasteland he'd come to in the hopes of greatness. His horse had been eaten the day he arrived at the hatching, his dragon had been a startling disappointment and had tried to get him killed more times than he cared to count before she was even fully grown, and he was ultimately alone trying to survive in this harsh wilderness with nothing but his bow, a knife, and a pair of flint stones in his pockets. The creature that gazed up at him was the answer to every problem he had, save for getting over the channel to go back home. To walk away as if the gods themselves hadn't just given her to him would have been blasphemy. After all, his father hadn't become strong all on his own either. Gareth shrugged, "All right I guess you deserve it," he said and motioned to the pup to follow with a quick, sharp whistle. There had to be something around here he could feed it. Even in a half-drunken haze, he managed to find a hunk of meat and stale bread to give the cerberus pup. She didn't seem to mind the hard, crusty bread and all three heads played a part in devouring all of it in a matter of a few minutes. She seemed to be satisfied, for when she was finished, she decided to stay by the young man's side, her prehensile scaled tails wrapped around one ankle. "Guess you need a name don't you?" He asked, finally reaching down to ruffle the surprisingly soft fur at the base of her necks. The middle head licked his fingers. And on the edge of the celebration party, a sickly green wyrm's crimson eyes smoldered with hatred and jealousy. |

Yorek speaking with Linnet hinting at just what she's getting into Yorek watched the bonding take place between the girl and her new pup. It truly was a sight to see, as each pup seemed to have their own method of choosing a human partner. This girl was clearly a spiritual sort perhaps this pup was drawn to that. He was again a bit confused by how she spoke and what she said but he said nothing, there was no reason to, it was just her way. But then she answered him. "Oh, your pardon, Yorek. I am Linnet Ravensilver." Yorek blinked and smiled. “Wow. That is actually a surprisingly pretty name!” His blue eyes again shot to Blair to make sure she did not hear and was not about to come in all teeth and curses. Good, she was still socializing. He focused again on Linnet. "I was going to ask you of these creatures, actually. I have never seen the like, and I enjoy learning of all new spirits I meet. You have given me their name. Could you tell me more? Or direct me to one who might?” “Oh! Well these are Cerberi. They’re not common and from what I understand they are only in the Desolation. Rare in the wild but they are bred in captivity for people of the Tainted legion like these guys.” He sad patting Barbas’ middle head and all three heads turned to lick him “I guess they are usually pretty aggressive but obviously there are exceptions. They bond to a human for life if given someone they like. In fact-“He paused and looked back to Byrn. What would he Call him? Well, technically…”My brother in law of sorts has one and he was chosen by another today. That big one is DarDanos, his first. That’s how big they get.” He paused. “But I would not go asking him about them. Byrn is not a people person.” He glanced again to Blair “And his sister is quite protective. In fact…” He found a way to speak to her in a way she’d probably understand clearly “She is much like an alpha female. Any other females get near her little group she kills them or drives them away with very few exceptions” He pet Barbas nervously. Silently thanking that Marice was an exception. “And from what I understand most people in this legion are much worse. So I am glad you asked me instead of the wrong sort. But at least now you will have some protection with Maelgwyn there.” Thinking it over, he realized he had a huge question for her “If you don’t mind me asking Linnet…Why the heck are you among the Tainted Legion? Why are you in the Desolation at all? No offense at all but you don’t seem like you belong here. This is a place of brutality and darkness, you seem different from that" |

Yorek's compliment to her name was surprising, and she blinked a bit. It was just her name, the same as she'd had all her life. Why was it pretty? "Thank you?" Again Linnet noticed that Yorek glanced at the young woman in the background, whose friend seemed to have found a cerberus-spirit friend as well. The news that the new spirits were aggressive did not come as a surprise. It was in their stance, even those like her Maelgwyn, who seemed the calmest of those she'd seen so far. Spirits of fighting, then. And, as all canids, hunting. Perhaps she would learn more as she got to know her new friend. The man with two spirit-friends was his brother-in-law? That would make the girl he kept glancing at his wife? Odd that they should marry so young. Perhaps the wife of a sibling that Linnet had not yet met. That made more sense to her, yes. She did pause to eye the full-grown Cerberus for a moment, then smiled and turned back to Yorek. "I will be blessed if Maelgwyn chooses to stay with me so long." Because he seemed so serious about this girl, and so worried when he glanced toward her, Linnet payed particular attention to his words about her. An alpha? Well, every group needed one. It was easy enough to get along with an alpha. One simply needed to be suitably submissive. Linnet had a great deal of practice with that. Maelgwyn, perhaps picking up on the nervousness that Yorek was exuding, growled softly. Linnet put a hand at the base of his necks and he subsided, though he fidgeted. "It is not a place I thought to find myself," Linnet admitted in response to Yorek's last question, finding no offense in the inquiry. She had, after all, heard of the Legion. Seeker Jilain had brought them news of the humans who turned the Great Spirits to evil. "I was traveling with a Dire Wolf Spirit and his human companion when a Great Spirit of Gravity came upon us. "Nithian--the Dire Wolf's rider--did not want me to go with her, but she asked me to attend her on a flight and, of course, I could not deny one of the Great Spirits." Linnet shrugged. She should not even have needed say such a thing; it was such a given to her life. But this young man had not lived her life, so perhaps it was best to be clear. "She brought me to the edge of this celebration and left me there. It was her will that I be here, and I am as glad, for it allowed me to meet Maelgwyn." She fell quiet for a moment, thinking of the wide open spaces that she had seen outside the party. "Come to that, I am uncertain how I shall return to the forests I know. I am...uncomfortable in empty lands, such as those nearby." |

Mar being unsurprised by the pup's hostility and aiding Gale's leg. Mar jumped slightly, startled by the dingo barking at him. He studied the pup's demeanor and deduced that he must not have cared for him being this close to Gale and smiled slightly. "Looks as if he likes you." Mar said, backing away from Gale, slightly, as not to agitate the pup further. He then got up and went back to Toa's saddle, pulling down a large bull elk carcass and whistled at the two pups. Anubis was ready to dig in, but the tan cerberus was still openly hostile towards Mar. He used a few hand signals, pointing at the elk and the pup looking directly at his own cerberus. All three of Anubis's heads got the message and he trotted up to his bigger brother, showing him the large amount of food. Marlowe watched as the cerberus pup seemed hesitant, but eventually did move to enjoy the feast; though it took forever for him to take his eyes off of Marlowe long enough for him to move back to Gale. He washed off his hands and crouched back down in front of Gale's injured leg, rolling the legging up gently. "It doesn't look to bad," He stated after examining it. "I'll give it a good cleaning for now and then redo it at the infirmary once we're back home; more sterile and less likely to become inflamed then." Marlowe began the careful process of tending to Gale's leg, looking over at the cerberus every now and again to make sure he was still distracted. "So, have you decided on a name yet?" He asked, starting to bandage the wound. |

Blair congratulating Pan before being asked an odd favor by Yorek Blair eyes the Cerberi with an admitted bit of jealously. There was a fine beast indeed! But she knew Aiyna had chosen her for good reason and she would never give up her phoenix for anything in the world...even if she was just as horribly possessive as her dragon AND her brother. "You know what's funny, I have been with you when you bonded to both of your companions!" She smiled at Pan "We need to hang out more often" She chuckled lightheartedly. Yorek listened with interest but also for concern. And how could he not be? This obviously gentle soul was in a place for hardened predators! He himself was still learning! And when she mentioned tha Gravity Spirit he took a guess at who that probably was. After Blair had told him of her adventure in house-finding he knew of Rais. His concern flaired more especially when she mentioned not having a way out. Damn it all he couldn't just leave her here! Damn, he'd hav eto at least TRY something... "You hang on just a second, I will ask my Matriarch" he said using the term for Linnet. Really Blair always said there was no 'leader' to the group, but Yorek still felt she had an Alpha personality. Barbas was hot at his heels trotting happily looking up at him with 6 eyes hoping for a new game of sorts. When he reached Blair and cleared his throat, she turned and was all to happy to see him. "Yorek dear! Oh look at that fine young fellow!" She crooned scratching Barbas under two on his chins. The pup thumped his leg happily and wagged his tails as she spoke to him in her cutesy voice as well. "Uh Blair, I need to ask a favor" "Of course dear what is it?" She was rubbing Barbas' belly now. "Well....can Krakatoa help me give a ride to someone? She's a-" "She?" Blair suddenly asked tensing and Barbas whined at the sudden lack of attention. "No no its not like that I swear! Look, over there. She just got a pup and your friend Rais brought here here. Blair, she is not like us, she shouldn't be here. I want us to get her off the Desolation and into some Forests. I'm pretty sure she'd be better off there" Blair did look over at Linnet who was tending her Coyote Cerberi. She sniffed the air and blinked with a groan before sighing. "Very well. But she has a Cerberi now. How do you know she's not Tainted material?" She asked. At this Yorek had to ponder. "Well, I know without a dragon she won't last a day here" He said. "Hmm..." Blair looked at her again "How about this, I will take her to the Forests surrounding our home. If she can survive, I think she has what it takes" At this Yorek smiled and almost feinted from relief. "Blair I love you. Thank you" "Come now I'm not as much of a monster as some think I am" She said with a grin "At least....not in some ways" At this, Barbas even licked her face before receiving a ear rub and bounded back to Yorek as he made his way back to Linnet. "So....I got you a ride to some pretty intense Forests if you'd like that...Also the spirit you'll be riding may blow your mind" |

Linnet thanking Blair, among other things Despite the growing concern she could read in Yorek's body language and expression, Linnet herself was reasonably at ease. Other than the one drunkard who had approached her, no one had made move to injure her here, nor even to intercept or inconvenience. Yorek himself was polite and even helpful. When he moved off to speak to the one he called Matriarch, she remained as he asked. Besides, Maelgwyn was clearly annoyed that she was showing so much attention to this boy when he wanted it for himself. Giving in to the quietly playful spirit was easy, far easier than perhaps it should be. She scratched in his dense fur, murmuring a prayer over her new companion for his safety and well being. She didn't bother with a prayer for good hunting, as canids brought that all on their own. Better a prayer to him that she might hunt as well as he! The thought made her smile, and she added such a prayer to her soft litany. Maelgwyn took the attention willingly and slipped onto his side. It was not quite an invitation for a belly rub, not quite an admission of submission. That, too, made Linnet smile, and she tucked a hand under his foreleg against his necks to rub at his chest. A gesture of respect, putting her arm where he could easily savage her. Still, from the corner of her eyes, she watched Yorek's interaction with the other woman. She saw the woman tense, and made sure not to meet the eyes that looked her way. The worst thing to do with an alpha was meet their eyes too firmly. Yorek's smile was clearly a good sign, and Barbas was as clearly pleased with her. Linnet smiled up at Yorek from her kneeling position when he came back to her. "I would be delighted to return to the forests," she replied, face lighting up. "And to ride a spirit there would be an honor beyond what I deserve. Thank you for this chance." Linnet glanced up at the other woman. "She is the reason this will be? I should thank her." Without waiting for the caution that was probably coming (not that Linnet knew as much), she got up and walked slowly over to Blair, eyes cast away. Maelgwyn followed, disconcerted to see his human play submission games with this stranger. "Greetings, Matriarch," Linnet began, bowing slightly. "Yorek tells me that you have graciously granted me passage to a forest. I thank you. Forests are my home. I am uneasy in this place, with so much open space. I am Linnet Ravensilver, and I am in your debt." |

While Yorek was pleased to see her so delighted, he still worried. Blair did have a point, the forests where their new home resided was not for the faint of heart or the unlearned. But then again, this one said she was from forests overall so that gave her a leg up surely? He just smiled but when her attention turned to Blair, he shifted uneasily. True, Blair was not simply a bloodthirsty monster…well, ok she was but that was only one side of her. The other side was a wonderful, kind, protective motherly sort. But there was only one side he’d feel ok with this girl seeing. So when she got up to thank Blair, Yorek made a nervous sound and quickly followed her. “Actually Linnet maybe it’s best if-“ Damn it was too late. "Greetings, Matriarch," Immediately Blair shot Yorek a glance and hissed his name as if to remind him about that title. His face pleaded forgiveness and for her to listen. "Yorek tells me that you have graciously granted me passage to a forest. I thank you. Forests are my home. I am uneasy in this place, with so much open space. I am Linnet Ravensilver, and I am in your debt." Blair looked at the girl carefully. She blinked and proceeded to sniff at her carefully. Taking not how oddly enough this one did as Blair felt was polite. She held still and averted her eyes while still maintaining a very polite demeanor. Blair had to admit she liked that. And indeed this one smelled of a lush land and held no scent or sense of threat. With a sigh, she finally spoke. “First, Matriarch is just what some call me as a tease. I’d like to think members of my family are equal, I’m just the loudest. I am Blair. Anyway uh...Linnet, yes I will take you to our lands but it is in the edges of the Pine Forests of Vidalaber right on the edge of the mountains of Loth Angresan by the coast. It is a harsh place, but you may try. But I ask that you not interfere with our hunts. And among other things we hunt evil in human form.” She paused to see if that sunk in, hard to tell. “Anyway, I also ask that if you must come to our homestead, don’t surprise us or sneak in, just always let us know you are present. You are also to stay away from my mates. Bolrock of Razor Rouge and Byrn of Lightning Ts’akab” She gestured to Byrn who was still struggling with his new dominating pup. She rolled her eyes at that. “But if you seek friendship that is alright, so long as we are all honest and open.” She looked back up to Yorek who was mouthing ‘thank you’ and Barbas was hopping about excitedly “You’ll know who is a part of my pack soon enough I am sure” She looked at Linnet’s own Cerberi impressed and made a whistle. Within seconds Aiyana landed upon her bonded’s shoulder. Blair looked at her and asked “Well Aiyana, what say you?” The teal phoenix examined the newly bonded pair with a few tilts of her head but seemed completely relaxed and soon made a soothed trill. At this Blair nodded “Well, Aiyana seems fine so I don’t think I have much to worry about. Yorek, keep an eye on her till we’re ready to leave. Seems like my brother needs some help” Though she gave Yorek a rather telling look that the young man understood clearly. Bolrock had explained to Blair that Yorek was a virgin when they saved him but that he had asked much advice of his brother. Blair put two and two together easily but was fine with it, just so long as if Yorek did not seek companionship where she did not approve and then bring it home Blair did not mind. And this seemed innocent enough for now. Yorek breathed out a huge sigh of relief. “Wow, that went better than I thought. You speak Blair” He laughed heartily followed by barks of agreement by Barbas. “She’s really wonderful but she is brutal when it comes to protecting what she loves and destroying what she hates” Really that summed it up well. “Anyway! You said you were from the forests before, where? What was it like?” He really was curious. Barbas, sending the tensions melting away, hopped to the smaller Maelgwyn wagging all his tails in a pose with his bum raised indicating his desire to play. SO far none of his siblings seemed the playful sorts! |

Her eyes cast down, Linnet missed the glare Blair shot at Yorek. She held still as the other woman leaned forward and sniffed at her. Very like a wolf, this one! Maelgwyn growled so softly that the only reason Linnet could tell was because she had a hand on the Cerberus' central head. The girl could guess at the reasons. Her new spirit-friend had growled at Blair before, when Yorek seemed so uneasy around her. She was just glad the spirit chose to do it softly this time. "Forgive me, Blair," Linnet replied, ducking her head again slightly in acknowledgement. "Tis what Yorek called you. I assumed it to be your title. All in the Circle had titles, it was a mistake borne of my culture." She listened to Blair's talk of the harshness of the forest, but dismissed it. Forests were forests; she would manage regardless. The mention of hunting humans caused Linnet to look up, a fraction of steel behind her brown eyes. She maintained the eye contact for only a moment. "I am a Druid, Blair," she replied, keeping her tone polite, though firm. "You do not know what that means, I am sure. I am a guardian of the forest. My old Circle brought about the end of more than one enemy of the earth. If you hunt those that cause harm, I will not oppose you." Then she smiled impishly. "Besides, I am not one to interfere in the hunts of any pack, human or otherwise." Surprise them? Sneak into their home? Did this woman think she was a thief or a murderer? Her body stiffened slightly, but she forced it to relax after a moment. The next comment side-tracked her completely. Their company included a Great Spirit of Lightning and one of the Razors? Fascinating. "I have no interest in your mates, Blair," Linnet replied firmly. "Even were I looking for romance, I am no poacher, no thief. And I do not lie." She gestured to the reddish-orange feathers in her braids. "Even were I inclined, these prevent me." The trill of the Phoenix made her look up, and she clapped delightedly before glancing apologetically at Blair for this breech of submissive protocol. "What a beautiful spirit!" she said, obviously thrilled. "Your pack is blessed indeed, between your Great Spirit companions, the Cerberi and this pretty creature." She bowed to Blair as the other woman walked away, and turned back to Yorek, reverting to her more natural body language. She smiled at the boy's obvious relief, and Maegwyn wagged his tails now that Blair was gone. "Well, you said she was an Alpha," Linnet shrugged dismissively. "I merely treated her as such. I have noticed that those not raised by the Circles seem to have problems with that. They all want to be dominant, or 'equal.' Few seem to understand that dominance and submission are natural forms for life to fall into. I will gladly play submission for those that cannot. It keeps me out of trouble." Linnet sat and snuggled with Maelgwyn, who seemed delighted that she was once again paying attention to him. She glanced up and smiled again at Yorek's request for further information about her old home, but it was a smile tinged with sadness. "The Spirit of Gravity that brought me here flew into the setting sun," she said softly, as a Keeper should when telling tales of the past. "Toward the rising sun, then, was my home, deep in the forests. The companion of the Dire Wolf Spirit Tiberius, Nithian, says that my old Circle's burial ground was south and east of the human city of Lihn, in the crook of a river that emptied to the sea. "I know of four Druidic Circles that lived around that general area, but the Ravens were the best. We were ever at peace, save for those who came to destroy the forest or overfish the river. We were scholars and diplomats between the other Circles. Most of all, we were Ravens: hoarders of knowledge and of things that sparkled." She reached behind her to pull a feather from her main braid. It was white, and she showed it to Yorek. Tears formed in her eyes but refused to fall as she looked at it. "We had companions from which we took the name of our Circle, and many of our gifts. Ravens of white, that kept company with our people, and shared their wisdom. They are all dead now. That is the reason there will be no more Circle of Silver Ravens. Our guardian spirits have fallen." |

Yorek listened petting Barbas as Linnet went on of her clan and spoke of Ravens. Suddenly he wanted to know more of such groups and their beliefs and ties to animals. It all was so fascinating to him! “White Ravens?” He asked suddenly “Never seen anything like that. Oh but I’d love to” Yorek found peace tending to the creatures of his “home” after he was sold. Breeding and training and creating new gear for them as well as best ways to keep them happy…Hell he was even allowed to enforce punishment on those who did not keep them healthy. His old master seemed to enjoy this. Yorek pushed those memories away. “Anyway, I’d love to hear more. And maybe of the Forests you lived in the ones we are in…” he paused, he knew of their reputation. “We’re North in the Pine Forests as they meet the high mountains. Lots of carnivorous plants and animals there. We don’t go out without the dragons” As if a reminder of his own abilities when he grew, Barbas gave a growl. Indeed he would become a fearsome protector that would provide fine guardianship on hunting trips. Yorek smiled and pet him. “I can at least show you where the good game is when we get there. And where often there are predators but just know there are ALWAYS predators and not always game” He chuckled making it seem lighthearted but he was serious and indeed a bit worried still. “In fact….are you truly interested in bonding to a dragon? Er, Spirit? We could take you to a hatching on our side but I’ll be frank…the dragons of the Tainted legion are a tad psychopathic” He glanced over to the distant mass of what were bodies of dragons and humans before torn to shreds and largely consumed. He still marveled at what Krakatoa had overpowered and drug in. Then again, he WAS a Bulkhead. “I myself just tried for one at the Academy over East. But sadly it wasn’t meant to be. But it’s ok I’m with my family now” Barbas yawned and rested his heads on Yorek’s lap “And my own omens tell me I belong here” He smiled as he pet his newest companion again. Though he thought of Marice and prayed that she was alright and happy….Also that Jiromy was scarred from their encounter. But he hid those thoughts as he knew Barbas would sense them. He was just glad his life had the chance to form and he could have such memories at all. He smiled again at Linnet as he reflected. |

"Though I wish to rebuild my Circle," Linnet admitted as Yorek mentioned that he'd love to see a white raven. "I cannot without a new guardian spirit to aid me. The Circle of Silver Ravens will be dead forever if I cannot convince a white raven to guide me in the blessing of a new sacred ground. I would have to take a new name for the new Circle." She sighed and looked away. Sometimes she thought that it would be simpler that way. But she was convinced that the ghosts of her family would never let her have peace until she rebuilt the old Circle. Thus she would do so. Perhaps instead of Seeking new Druids to rebuild the Circle, she should instead first Seek a guardian raven. Without that spirit, her search for fellowship would be useless. "It would be my honor to share with you the tales that I Keep, Yorek," she replied, smiling at him. He was very easy to get along with, strange in this place that seemed so full of turmoil and violence. At his description of the forests in which they lived, Linnet merely nodded. "I have heard of the Cursed Forests. They do not frighten me. Our Seeker walked some of their paths and fathomed a few of their secrets. Her knowledge will serve me well." His mention of 'bonding' to one of the Great Spirits set Linnet back. Where had he gotten the idea that she sought that? Such an honor was so much beyond her that she had not even thought it in waking life, though she would admit to dreams of it, if asked. She was honored beyond words merely to associate with the servants of other Great Spirits. But to seek to serve one herself? The idea was like a fire in her thoughts, but she shoo'd it away. She had other tasks here. "While it would be an honor greater than any I could seek to serve one of the Great Spirits," she replied carefully, not wanting Yorek to think she was offended, nor wishing to offend him, "I have other duties. The rebuilding of my Circle comes before all things. I would be overjoyed and indebted, however, should you think to take me to such a Hatching. To see the Great Spirits born would be the delight of a lifetime." Maelgwyn's triple tail thumped against her leg as she knelt speaking to Yorek. She murmured a prayer for them, hoping that they would not make a scene here before her new friends. |
