It's funny listening to Nile chat about working at The Power Station, and he clearly knows Mark recorded there too, as he keeps saying "Right Mark" etc They played the new Chic track and Mark says he loved it, and it takes him back. Mark says he used to clock on when Nile clocked of at The Power Station.

Here is some information about a different program Mark was on today, Shaun Keaveny of BBC Radio.

Quote:

Shaun's Eighth Anniversary on Breakfast, plus Mark Knopfler

Thursday sees Shaun 8th Anniversary on the Breakfast Show. He celebrates by welcoming the one guest he's been trying to track down for all these years - Mark Knopfler to the show. Mark will be chatting about his eighth solo album - 'Tracker' which features 11 new Knopfler songs inspired by a wide range of subjects including Beryl Bainbridge and Basil Bunting. They'll chat about the album and up coming tour and Keaveny's lifelong desire to meet the great man.

Apparently, the whole show is accessible on the link. Mark's interview starts at 02:03:40.
