Thank you James it was a positive impulse from you-I got in the possession of the tracks end I listened through the first five tracks so far... Btw I want to be sure I've got a right CD -Does a first lyrics start in No5 ?(The Way It Always Starts). And I'm wondering Who is the vocal here? Is it David? I just don't know. Anyway, I like this song... |

Hi, Stanko. I was glad to see that you have started exploring Mark's sound tracks. They are all wonderful, but in different ways. As far as The Way It Always Starts goes, it is the only vocal on the album and was sung by Gerry Rafferty, former member of Stealers Wheel and, according to the liner notes, he is best known for his hit Baker Street. I can't recall that any of the sound tracks have more than one song with lyrics. The Way It always Starts is a beautiful song, in my opinion. :waytogo: |

Yeah Linda I had great time listening to! Incredible is that I'm quite familiar with this song(TWIAS) as if I'm listening to The Split Festival (Dalmatian festival of music) back around late 70's! :o |

since we've been spoken about this song it is unable to find it around the net now (only covers)!? It seems symptomatic for me in some way! Or it just says it is unavailable (at least it is a message i can see now) while it was all right with that youtube page just few days before!? |

Hi, Stanko. Here is a link to the song. It is the original song, sung by Gerry Rafferty with Dire Straits providing the music, but someone has added a video they made. Apparently, there is some question about copyright usage, too. The Way It Always Starts I'm not sure if this is the same one you were referring to or not. It was the only one I could pull up also, so it might be. At least it isn't a cover, just added video content. |

I have always like That's The Way It Always Starts, and I think Mark made a good choice in asking Gerry Rafferty to sing it, but I have also always wondered if there is a demo somewhere with Mark singing it? Linda, A Shot At Glory has 3 songs with lyrics: He's the Man Say Too Much All That I Have in the World |

Hi, James. You are right. I stand corrected. You would have thought I could have remembered them as they are favorites! :wallbang: |

I'm sorry to hear you weren't able to use that link, Stanko. It probably is related to your location. I have had the same frustration at times when trying to connect to a European link, too - it says that isn't available here! Well, maybe sometime. Try it out from time to time. It might come back. |
