So, what that a real interview? or just what Bill Flanagan wrote in his book? because to me it doesn't sound like Mark's voice. After writing the above, I had a look for myself on Google, turns out it is a genuine interview, from a book about songwriters, that included many other stars, and was first released around 1986. I still don't think it sounds like Mark, maybe he was feeling very relaxed that day of the interview. The book can be found on Amazon, and if you look inside the cover, it says in bold lettering: To Dave & Anna, Lourdes & Mark. Thanks for opening the door. |

It was an interesting interview. Maybe Mark was really relaxed during the interview - not running here and there and trying to keep to a specific schedule, or something. Since DS was touring so extensively in 1985 and 1986 and Brothers in Arms was released in '86, too, maybe it was a good chance to sit down quietly with only one other person to interact with! :P |
