So it's back! And this time we're going to really win. Hahaha!

First game is over, SA 1- Mexico 1.

Shame the hosts didn't win, but at least they didn't lose. Anyone watching the England USA game on Saturday by any chance?

I watched the opening match, and it was a pretty good game.

The terrible ITV commentary always annoys, but I guess that can't be helped.

As for the game tomorrow... We should win, but USA will run all day and be as driven as any in the tournament. Still I don't think it's a disaster if we don't win.

I think it'll be a blow for their confidence if they lose, but I agree it won't be the end of the world. I think the US stand a chance of scoring, but their defense is abysmal looking at their last few games so England should be able to rack up a few.

Hopefully.

Best to use the radio for commentary and turn the TV down if it's on ITV...

So far I don't hate Emmanuel Adebayor... This surprises me.

Anyway tonight's game is interesting, on paper France should win, Suarez and Forlan notwithstanding, but they have probably the worst manager not named Maradona in the competition and thanks to him I'm not expecting much.

Disappointing result tonight, frankly we didn't play well and looked about as fluid as titanium.

Though it was hilarious to listen to Gerrard try and blame the ball for Green's error.

I watched the game, I was with England of course. Too bad for the tie. England should have won that. But hey on the other hand you guys did much better than Greece that seem to have forgotten how football is played! Our guys seemed tired and unable to pass the center of the camp...Not so much surprise the result :(

Now on monday is Italy-Paraguy. I do hope they do better!

To be fair I think the Koreans are a better side than anyone gives them credit for, but yeah, Greece didn't play well. I guess when you're relying on Georgios Samaras for your goals then things are probably not going to go well... ;)

I should have suspected the worst when I saw Rob Green in goal, given that I actually scored against him in a school match.

I think it showed promise, the USA aren't a bad side, definitely were in the mood to raise their game against us in a way we probably weren't and you need to remember England tend to gather momentum as these things go along. A loss would have been disasterous, but a draw I can live with, we could still finish top and I have no doubts about getting to the next stage.

Where we were particularly weak I think Barry would fix, and you can't expect Heskey to score, even if he only has the keeper to beat.

I've seen goalkeepers make worse mistakes too. But taking that into account, we were the better side.

Well done USA that's whay I say, look forward to them facing Germany in the next round hopefully.

Didn't see the Greece game, but hope to catch a replay..

Germany was really good, most enjoyable game so far. On the other hand, it was hard to see though if it was due to Australia being that bad or them having perfect a game...

I couldn't watch the USA-England match except for last 30 minutes, but for what I have seen USA were in a surprisingly good shape.

France was a horrible disappointment. Greece was bad.

SA vs Mexico was quite enjoyable, so was Netherlands vs Denamark.

As usual, I hope for Netherlands or Spain (or Argentina) to win, but after watching Gemrany, they might deserve the title.

Well, Spain did worse than us. That's refreshing. So far only the Germans have looked unstoppable, though to be honest, they were playing Australia, and I'm pretty sure I'd get a game for Australia...

So Greece have won their first game. A good win against Nigeria!

Hey, the Krauts lost to Serbia! And of course England tied 0-0. Dang, the U.S got robbed by the blind ref it appears!

Oh I work with a man from Ghana so I hope they beat the men from down under tomorrow!

I'd say they were robbed, that goal should have stood. Been some pretty poor displays of refereeing this world cup. Not as poor as the displays put on by our millionaire players mind you, but still pretty poor.

I can't believe we can still qualify to be honest. After sitting through that I'm not sure I even want to sit through another one.
